Everything Is Awful and I’m Not Okay: questions to ask before giving up

Are you hydrated? If not, have a glass of water.
Have you eaten in the past three hours? If not, get some food — preferably something with protein, not just simple carbs. Perhaps some nuts or hummus?
Have you showered in the past day? If not, take a shower right now.
If daytime: are you dressed? If not, put on clean clothes that aren’t pajamas. Give yourself permission to wear something special, whether it’s a funny t-shirt or a pretty dress.
If nighttime: are you sleepy and fatigued but resisting going to sleep? Put on pajamas, make yourself cozy in bed with a teddy bear and the sound of falling rain, and close your eyes for fifteen minutes — no electronic screens allowed. If you’re still awake after that, you can get up again; no pressure.
Have you stretched your legs in the past day? If not, do so right now. If you don’t have the spoons for a run or trip to the gym, just walk around the block, then keep walking as long as you please. If the weather’s crap, drive to a big box store (e.g. Target) or indoor mall and go on a brisk walk through the aisles you normally skip.
Have you said something nice to someone in the past day? Do so, whether online or in person. Make it genuine; wait until you see something really wonderful about someone, and tell them about it.
Have you moved your body to music in the past day? If not, do so — jog for the length of an EDM song at your favorite BPM, or just dance around the room for the length of an upbeat song.
Have you cuddled a living being in the past two days? If not, do so. Don’t be afraid to ask for hugs from friends or friends’ pets. Most of them will enjoy the cuddles too; you’re not imposing on them.
Do you feel ineffective? Pause right now and get something small completed, whether it’s responding to an e-mail, loading up the dishwasher, or packing your gym bag for your next trip. Good job!
Do you feel unattractive? Take a goddamn selfie. Your friends will remind you how great you look, and you’ll fight society’s restrictions on what beauty can look like.
Do you feel paralyzed by indecision? Give yourself ten minutes to sit back and figure out a game plan for the day. If a particular decision or problem is still being a roadblock, simply set it aside for now, and pick something else that seems doable. Have you waited a week? Sometimes our perception of life is skewed, and we can’t even tell that we’re not thinking clearly, and there’s no obvious external cause. It happens. Keep yourself going for a full week, whatever it takes, and see if you still feel the same way then.

What's your favourite place to get pizza?
Oooh, definitely Lou Malnati's... they make the best Chicago deep dish pizza on the planet. But sadly I don't live near any of their restaurants. My favorite pizza place near here is the NY-style pizzeria on the town square.
Did you ever get detention in school? What for?
Nope. I was too quiet as a kid to ever get into that much trouble haha.
Do you believe in horoscopes?
Not one bit.
When you were growing up, did you share a bedroom with anyone?
No.
Have you ever worn a wig?
Just once, when I was 8 years old and I dressed up as a little old lady for Halloween. We had a school Halloween costume parade that everyone's families came to, and I remember seeing someone's elderly grandmother there and at the time I felt really bad and embarrassed that I was dressed up in a costume to look like her hahaha. But looking back from an adult perspective I'm sure she thought it was funny/cute.
Do you have any trips coming up?
Maybe to Delaware next month or in January.
If you could take lessons/classes for anything, what would you do?
Nature photography. We did a nature photography unit in my film photo II class in high school and I loved it. I'd definitely want to do a whole class in that, just with digital photography this time.

Back in March or April.

Just once. One of the days that my husband and I were exploring London, we stumbled upon an Indonesian festival at the park by Tower Bridge, and decided to try some of the food there.

So as we prepare for the phoenix of the Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse ahead of us on 16th May at 25º16’ Scorpio, I have a bit of weekend work for you to prepare for it.
While this is an eclipse which happened back in 2003 - to be precise period between May 2003 to August 2003. Tesla was formed; Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic joined EU, NATO took over command of peacekeeping force in Afghanistan - its first major operation outside Europe. First Pirate of the Caribbean was released and Amber Heard was rumoured to have had a juvenile arrest record which led her to drop out & head to Hollywood (Depp-Heard Venus @25/26º Taurus). And so on - I will not bore you with whats now “news” cause this eclipse as we have discussed adnauseam was activated back in end Feb/Early March 2022 (3 March to be exact).
The thing is most of us are too old or too young to recall 2003. Nothing is exactly the same as we now have Saturn in Aquarius at the apex of this full moon / lunar eclipse and at 25º Aquarius, it would rein in the shenanigans of Jupiter in Aquarius of April 2021 or create efficiency and value out of it. We face karma, check point, reality check, slow down with this eclipse in name of Saturn especially in Aquarius themes of innovation, open speech and commerce. Everyone has equal right to abundance - the notion of Jupiter in Aquarius is challenged.
Coming back to our individual weekend thinking - beyond if possible thinking on these dates : May-Aug 2003 (in terms of parallel) and April 2021 (what needs to be reigned in - what we need to “grow up” about), I would suggest we look at Dec 2012 and Jan 2013.
This in my view is much more important if we can manage to - cause it seems we are being asked to change the rules of the game that we used back then. North Node was in Scorpio at the time - working together was road to success at the cost of one’s own value or at the cost of hiding your own bling. Hiding, waiting for things to be given, having intensity & ambition but no real means to express it or being unwilling to channel into real productive outlets taking real action that would lead you there. Rules of road are opposite right now. North Node in Taurus demands rewarding oneself - getting something what we want because we desire it not because it would help as a leverage or work in benefit of a power dynamic or because it would appease someone or because it would help us be helped by someone else - individual motivations for individual benefit. South Node in Scorpio demands release of heavy psychological dysfunctional patterns that show up in money, sex, self worth. Keeping it simple. There is an element of dysfunction acquired from this period of Dec 2012-Jan 2013 that needs to be dropped and thats it - thats the whole message.

Tatiana, la chamane de Kalmoukie

J’imagine mes amis qui me regardent et qui me prennent pour une zinzin. Je mords mes joues, je me retiens. Tatiana a l’air de souffrir pour moi, je ne veux pas qu’elle pense que je me moque d’elle. Je ne veux pas que mon rire empêche les énergies de fonctionner pour moi. Je ne sais même pas ce que cette phrase veut dire.
Les incantations continuent encore et au bout de 20 minutes je dirais, le silence. Betty et moi ouvrons les yeux et Tatiana nous lance un grand sourire. Ouf ! Elle ne souffre plus. Elle pianote quelque chose sur son téléphone et nous envoie un message en russe. Betty le traduit. Face à mon regard interrogateur et, on peut le dire, un peu triste, Betty tente une interprétation : « Le cervelet droit, ça veut peut-être dire le cerveau droit, l’émotionnel ? L’amour ? Ce sont peut-être des sujets qui te préoccupent en ce moment. » Certes. Tatiana a du flair, je ne peux pas le nier. Ça reste tout de même obscur. Nous essayons d’en savoir plus auprès d'elle. Elle suggère que je fasse un travail plus approfondi avec quelques séances supplémentaires.
Au cas où, nous retraduisons le premier message, dans Linguee cette fois-ci, et le résultat est exactement le même, à l’exception près que le mot « mariée » est cette-fois ci « célibataire ». Ce qui voudrait dire qu’en russe un même mot peut vouloir dire deux exacts opposés. Il y aurait quelque chose à creuser sur le concept de couple dans la culture slave…
