For years, May 1 was celebrated as International Workers' Day, also known as Labor Day in some countries, and often referred to as May Day. Here, in 1929, these five South Carolinan textile strike leaders marched in the Communist May Day Parade at Union Square. They carried signs, some of which pleaded for help, and others read, "Everyone on the picket line! Defy the Injunction!" May Day in New York passed quietly.

Conservation Status- Unlisted

Habitat- Southern Ocean; Pacific-Antarctic Oceans

Size (Weight/Length)- 15 cm

Diet- Bacteria; Mussels

Cool Facts- The deep ocean hides so many species it isn’t hard to imagine the yeti crab was hiding down there too. In 2005, this tiny species of crab was discovered on hydrothermal vents over 2200 meters deep. The yeti crab lacks color, leaving it completely white, and most likely blind. A thick mat of bacteria from the vents grows on the hairs along the crabs’ arms. Not only do these bacteria remove dangerous minerals from the water, these bacteria function as the crabs’ main food source.

Rating- 10/10 (The closest evidence to a living yeti.)

Ginny didn't realize how quiet the house was until she finished the article she was working on. Even though she knew Harry was home, she couldn't help worrying. It was never good when her children were this quiet. Quickly checking the house, she was surprised to find her bedroom door closed. There was resistance when she tried to open it, like someone was standing in front of it. James and Albus quickly stepped out of the room.

"You can't come in," James said with authority.

"Why can't I get in my own bedroom?"

"It's a secret."

"Dad's trying to wrap your Mother's Day presents," Albus said, rolling his eyes as he emphasized the word trying.

"Don't worry, Gin. I've got everything under control," Harry called from the other side of the door. Ginny suppressed a laugh as Albus rolled his eyes again. She decided to leave them to it as she went to deal with the ever present pile of laundry.

An hour later, James led the way into the living room while Harry carried a pile of badly wrapped presents. Albus trailed behind, obviously not happy about the way the presents were wrapped. Lily bounced right up to Ginny with a big smile on her face.

"We got you a teddy bear. Her name is Sarah."

James and Albus groaned in unison.

"That was supposed to be a secret, Lily," Harry said with a chuckle.

The next day, Ginny got to hold the teddy bear for about two seconds before Lily grabbed it and hugged it tightly.
