Masumi Usui with an S/O who's a Wheelchair User

A/N: So i recently got my first wheelchair (just a hospital style for rn, but hopefully I’ll get a custom relatively soon) so i wanted to write something for one of my favs with an s/o who is an ambulatory wheelchair user; it ended up being non specific to an ambulatory wheelchair user, and this is pretty niche, but I hope y'all enjoy anyways! *(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭*♡

❀ Masumi Usui

Masumi doesn’t see you any differently than if you weren’t in a wheelchair. He doesn’t see what the big deal is whether or not you’re walking or using your chair- you’re still the same person he fell in love with no matter if you’re standing or seated

Whenever you go anywhere with him, he always lifts your wheelchair into the trunk of the car and takes it back out again. He may not be as strong as Tasuku or Omi, but he’s able to do it without struggling. He gets used to the weight of the chair very quickly!

If your arms ever get tired of pushing your chair, he’ll gladly push the chair for you! He always waits for you to ask though, not wanting to be rude or to push your chair while your hands are still on the push rims. He always presses small kisses to the top of your head when he’s pushing your chair!

He either makes sure to hold all the doors open for you or push all the disability buttons for them. Not because he doesn’t think you’re capable, but he feels it's the gentlemanly thing to do. He’d hold the door open for you even if you weren’t in your chair!

He misses not being able to hold your hand when you’re self-propelling, but he doesn’t complain much about it. He makes up for it by holding your hand when you’re no longer in motion

If you ask him to help you decorate your wheelchair, he’ll happily oblige! He’ll help cut spoke covers to size and place them on your chair, as well as add lights to your wheels. Whatever you decide to do to your chair, he’ll definitely ask if he can help!

If you ever need help fixing something on your chair, he’ll gladly help. He’s not the most knowledgeable when it comes to fixing wheelchairs, as he has no experience, but he’ll listen intently to your instructions and do exactly what is requested of him

He always checks to make sure that wherever you’re going together is accessible! He wants you to have the best possible time, no matter if it's a date or not, and he knows accessibility factors into your enjoyment.

He always asks to make sure that what he does is okay. He doesn’t want to do anything wrong that you may take the wrong way so he always asks before doing anything. And if he forgets to ask beforehand, he always asks afterwards.

I'm a proud step father of 3

Whose idea was it? His.

He was mindlessly scrolling through tiktok on a free period in uni when the co-parenting one of these things trend popped up on his fyp, and he was HOOKED.

He immediately texts you asking you to install the app and if you wanted to co-parent with him, he was extatic when you said yes.

What pet does he choose?

This one.

Her name is moca, his s/o chose it. And ofc Moca calls you mom and dad <3

He's the most attentive father EVER. He treats this virtual pet as his actual kid. He cares for it and leaves you sweet little notes and reminders if needed.

He also has the mood widgetable, along with the i miss you one.

I used ‘smelly candles’ from prompt 15 of day 10 of the event for the spring troupe from A3! I love all these boys so much and hope everyone enjoys the headcanons!

Smelly candles: what’s your absolute favourite scent?

Sakuya has a wide variety of different ‘favourite’ smells, from foods smells like frying bacon and freshly baked bread to fresh smells like clothes fresh from the dyer. He’s really particular about the laundry detergent and dryer sheets he uses – he likes things that advertise themselves as ‘fresh april showers’ or things of the like. He also really likes beach smells, particularly if he gets to experience them in person at the actual beach!

Masumi actually really enjoys more floral scents. He loves the smell of lavender, carnations, violets, and gardenia, to be more specific. He’s also a fan of other scents – freshly baked sweets, artificial vanilla, anything with a slightly sweeter base really.

It’s no surprise, given how much he loves writing and reading both, Tsuzuru’s favourite scents tend to be book related. The slightly vanillic scent of aging paper in old books, the smell of fresh pen ink, the heavy wood smell of sturdy bookshelves, aged leather. They’re all really subtle but fragrant and they all are scents that just make him happy.

Itaru really likes odd smells – freshly baked pizza, a slightly overheating computer, a freshly opened game. There are also weird smells he likes simply because they remind him of video games – laundry detergent always reminds him of retro Nintendo gaming because his bedroom, where he played those games, was right beside the laundry, so he really loves that smell. Wet dog reminds him of zombie games for some reason he can never say, but it’s because it reminds him of those that he loves the smell.

Citron, keeping to his name, does actually like citrus smells, particularly oranges mixed with spices. He’s a fan of real strong smells in general – eucalyptus, mint, jasmine, cedar, and things along those lines.

Chikage’s favourite scents tend to be food-based. As such a fan of spicy foods, he’s come to dearly love the smell of certain spices, especially the really aromatic ones. Even when he looks for cologne, he tends to veer more into the men’s fragrances that have spicy elements, such as cinnamon, clove, or cardamom. He’s a fan of the smell of cardamom both in food smells and fragrances, but also saffron, turmeric, chili pepper, and cumin. He’s also a big fan of garlic, though he understands that a lot of other people might not enjoy the smell of it.

I'm so sorry for submitting 26 characters but it's important and they canonically consider each other family. I'm so sorry. But they're so important to me.

24 gay theater kids came together and found a home

They are a big group of people that range from teenagers to adults and it’s very nice to see their dynamics as they all go through theater with different eyes, between those who have a long life in front of them and are excited to do something new, and those others who feel like they are too old for this but still do it regardless, and like the way friendships are born between those people who seem so different yet have some similarities some past memories they relate to, or also see the adults trying to be there for the younger members it’s very cute I swear. You see even if I ramble here it’s hard to explain because I would explain 6 whole years of lore but yeah overall is just a situation of, people who seem different but find similarities between one another and do their best to help who struggles and are all bond by one single aim which is bloom on stage!

These are 25 individuals that all come from completely different backgrounds, situations, and experiences that all happened to come together by chance, and formed a tight bond and family that cannot be replicated. Sakuya Sakuma, a young orphan boy who found refuge from his troubling homelife through theatre, found himself a home within this small run down theatre company, and found a family through the people in it. This isn’t a Headcanon, A3! Is a found family story. Sakuya views everyone there as a member of his family, and it’s not just him. Misumi Ikaruga, a man kicked out of his home for being “different” (cough Autistic cough), finally found a family that accepts and loves him unconditionally. Taichi Nanao had been taught that you need to always be fighting your way to the top, and whoever gets hurt along the way is nothing but a necessary casualty. So being able to find a place that is willing to work and rise with him, and care for him along the way… and the theres Azuma, a man so heavily affected by the trauma he experienced as a child, and yet has pushed it so far down to the point you wouldn’t even know it by looking at him. But here, this god who knows how old man finally found it, that home he has been searching for, and a place where he can finally break down his walls. Sure, one could argue a3! Is 4 different found families, but you would be wrong. Yes, each troupe is important, however would you then deny the importance of cross troupe relationships? The four leaders, who all encourage one another to do better, Tsuzuru and Kazunari, who allow one another to finally be honest about their feelings, Azami and Kumon who are the definition of “boys being boys”, Sakyo and Azuma, two adults who seem well past the years of found family, who found solace in one another. A3! Is about people of all ages coming together to be a family. It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you come from. You could be just a random college kid off the road, or a former international spy, that doesn’t matter. Mankai has a spot for you, where you will be loved, accepted, and cherished.

🌸He really loves having someone near him who is also super optimistic!

🌸He tends to find that your positive energy rubs off on him :)

🌸You always have such cute dates!!

🌸A lot of the time, you go to a small coffee shop, then rehearse lines for an upcoming show(whether it be yours or his) on the riverbank

🌸From there, you often find yourselves cuddling under the shade of a nearby tree

🌸You always shower him in so many kisses just to see the cute expression on his face!!!

🌸His face gets all scrunched up and he closes his eyes with the most giddy smile n he’s so wiggly when you try to hold him still to give him more love and aaaaa he’s so cute help

🌸He’s so giggly when you do it too omg <3

🌸Scratch that, he’s super giggly all the time around you and he finds that he can’t help it

🌸Whenever you greet him, you almost topple him over in the biggest hug and he usually returns it with an excited smile.

🌸Although one day, when you greeted him with your usual hug outside of your favorite cafe, he starts crying after you hold him for a bit.

🌸“Oh, oh no, what did I do? Here, let me get those tears,” you blubbered out, releasing your hold on him to cup his face and dry his tears.

🌸Sakuya gave a weak grin, gazing into your eyes with his own teary ones.

🌸You continued swiping your thumbs across his cheek, quietly shushing him, allowing Sakuya to let his emotions out.

🌸He practically became a puddle in your hands, his weight sinking into your hold until he felt that his tears were almost dry.

🌸Sakuya took a deep breath, then finally spoke.

🌸“It’s just… I’ve never felt this way before. So…loved. I feel so cared for. I have the troupe, of course, and they do so much for me, and I appreciate it, I really do, but being held like this, getting showered in so much love and affection, it’s not something I’m used to. It’s not something I ever was really able to have. That all just hit me right now, so you don’t need to worry, okay? I’m just really happy. And a crybaby.” He finished with a giggle.

🌸That was a lot to take in.

🌸He had told you about his past and all that, but you never realized that such simple actions you did practically on instinct meant so much to him.

🌸All you could muster as a reply was “Can I hug you again?”

🌸Sakuya simply nodded, and you could notice a few small tears well up in his eyes.

🌸You wrapped your arms around him, leaning your face into his shoulder, nestling it into the crook of his neck. Sakuya returned the gesture by holding you just as tightly, resting his own head on top of yours.

🌸You both decided to stay there for a bit, and you felt the small tears from his eyes make their way down his cheek and reach the top of your head.

🌸You sighed, noticing the sounds of Sakuya’s breathing start to become more steady, and you finally smiled.

🎧He’s the type to simply relish in your happiness from afar, so a lot of his displays of affection come in the form of small gifts and taking you to places he knows you’ll enjoy.

🎧He likes watching you enjoy yourself and knowing that he was the one who made you that happy.

🎧He never expects you to always return his gifts in the form of affection.

🎧Masumi is another person who doesn’t realize how touch starved he is until he gets even the smallest hint of affection.

🎧And you can see his eyes sparkle when you hug him every. Single. Time.

🎧And when he sees you happy and enjoying yourself, you always manage to get him to flash one of his rare smiles.

🎧Which is absolutely heart-melting, but it’s when you touch him that he really gets excited.

🎧For example, on your first date, you decided to go to a small music festival, and on your walk there, you decided to casually grab his hand as you talked.

🎧You didn’t mind touching him, and small acts of affection were always the norm for you, but to Masumi, it was an entirely different story.

🎧This person he’s always liked and cared for and adored likes him back.

🎧You didn’t even say anything about liking him back, but such a small act of affection told him how much you cared for him.

🎧You swung your clasped hands back and forth as you rambled about something that happened to you recently, almost skipping ahead of the wide-eyed boy.

🎧“…right, Masumi?” You finished, turning to him for confirmation.

🎧It took you a moment to register his expression.

🎧His eyes were almost soulless and his jaw was practically on the floor. He looked as if he was only there physically, and he had emotionally left the vicinity.

🎧Masumi’s head was practically racing with thoughts.

🎧Oh my god this is real. They like me. He simply melted into your touch, and he didn’t even think about his expression as he stared at your hands blankly.

🎧It was only when you asked for his response that he snapped out of his daze.

🎧“Mmhm…yeah…” he mumbled, looking down, his face a slowly deepening shade of red.

🎧You grinned at his surprisingly cute response, then slowed your pace a bit to match his.

🎧With you this close to him, you really wouldn’t expect Masumi of all people to be a blushing mess.

🎧His face was never towards you, but you could always see the tinge of red on his ears and notice the way his hand kept adjusting in yours.

🎧It was honestly so different that you couldn’t help but bask in his bashfulness, further encouraging it by inching your face towards his with every step you took.

🎧And by the time you made it to where you could touch his face with your own, you gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

🎧Masumi finally turned towards you, his eyes wide. Never in his life would he have thought that you’d fully return his affections.

🎧“Hm? Massu, you okay—mmph!” You only wanted to see if you had upset him or crossed a boundary, but you were met by Masumi tackling you into a big hug.

🎧He held you against him, his arms fully crossing your back, his fingertips barely reaching the front side of your belly. His head was in between your neck and your left shoulder, his eyes closed.

🎧“I love you so, so much. I always have and I always will. Let me devote myself to you.”

🎧“Woah, slow down there. I love you too.” You managed to get out with a chuckle, patting his back.

🎧In the end, you had to practically pry him off of you, and his eyes wouldn’t leave you for the rest of the date.

🎧All in all, he loves you. A lot.

A3! Drinking Headcanons! Pt. 1 Spring and Summer Troupe (Another Long one! TW:Alcohol and underage drinking)

🌸Spring troupe🌸

Sakuya Sakuma: Definitely curious about drinking, it looks like everyone having a fun time together. Everyone at Mankai's usually having a fun time together so he's curious how drinking changes that. Hasn't tried alcohol before, wants to wait till he's old enough. Probably would like with Rum and cokes or beer.

Citron: Loves drinking socially, doesn't drink alone. Enjoys going to clubs, doing karaoke, and having playing drinking games. A very hungry drunk, once ate an entire platter of fried shrimp. Some how doesn't get hungover. Has offered the younger members alcohol before because he forgot the drinking age in Japan. Will drink anything, loves sake and cocktails.

Chikage Utsuki: A casual drinker, no one has every seen him completely wasted nor does he ever seem to be hungover the morning after. He'll have the occasional drink by himself after work or on game night with the other adults. He likes to keep his wits about him. Drinks whiskey, Fireball, things like that.

Tsuzuru Minagi: Definitely has tried alcohol, despite not being old enough. His older brothers have slipped him a beer or two when their parents weren't around. Would never drink around the younger members or his younger brothers eve if he was old enough to drink, idk something about their innocent beady little eyes staring at him, it makes him feel off. Would mainly drink cheaper thing like beer, or 99 cent banana schnapps. Tries to hide his hangover the best he can but it's hard when he can't really walk straight and the room is spinning.

Itaru Chigisaki: Rarely drinks, drinking hinders his gaming skills. Will order one beer when out with his coworkers along with a glass of water.

"Wow! Itaru you take care of yourself so well!" They'll Say,

"Heh. Yeah I'm really into to selfcare and stuff." He'll respond like a liar.

After that he'll order drinks that sound like they have alcohol, like an Arnold Palmer or a St. Clements. Doesn't get a hangover since he doesn't really drink, probably has a low alcohol tolerance too.

Masumi Usui: Wants to drink with you soo badly, he's counting the days you and him can have a romantic drink by the sunset together. He had a glass in his room that you'd drank from and left lipstick marks on, It was his prized possession until Tsuzuru cleaned the room and took the cup to be cleaned. "And to think I was starting to like you." "Masumi that cup was attracting ants." Will drink anything you drink. Mostly likely when he is able to drink he'll over do it and you'll have to carry him back to the apartment. He'll wake up with an awful hangover in the morning but will be elated if you nurse him back to health.

☀️Summer Troupe☀️

Tenma Sumeragi: This is a hard one, on one hand he sees drinking as a possible way to relax and bond with his troupe(in the future), but also drinking can impair your judgement and he already has a terrible sense of direction. He's underaged so the media would have a field day if he was caught drinking. Once he was old enough he'd probably drink top self alcohol. Would be an a moody drunk, "Aw, I love you guys! You're the best groups of friends a guy could have." "Aw thanks Tenten!" "Fuck off blondie." (Advice. If your gonna drink cocktails or whatever don't buy the most expensive liquor, cocktails are made so you don't taste the alcohol. Save your money.) A lLightweight.

Muku Sakisaka: Wants to drink, the adult members of Mankai always seem to have a great time drinking with each other. He's curious what really goes on when adults go out drinking, is it anything like manga? Drunk confessions that neither of you would remember? Having a one night stand with your cute coworker and having to pretend like nothing happens? Drunken Kabedons??? Once he's old enough to drink he'll go for the sweeter drinks that taste like candy, and anything that's pink. Has an average alcohol tolerance, as a drunk he becomes clumsy, like that person who throws a drink back and then slams it back onto the counter. He tends to forget his own strength when drinking.

Yuki Rurikawa: Doesn't care much for drinking or the idea of being drunk, mainly wants to take pictures of pretty cocktails that match his outfit, regardless if they taste good. If he's drunk take away his wallet because he's a drunk spender, it's funny because drunk Yuki will buy something he thinks sober Yuki will love and when it arrives sober Yuki will question his sanity because he has no memory of buying things. "Drunk me is an asshole."

Misumi Ikaruga: The drunk that needs a babysitter, a sober babysitter. You already know he likes any drinks in a glass that are shaped like a triangle, or come with fruit that's shaped like a triangle. no preference for alcohol as long as he get his triangle. You know what else can be vaguely triangle shaped, the dish behind the bar that holds fruits shaped like like triangles. Yep, Drunk Misumi has stick fingers, you'd think he's a pro thief at how easily he slips things into his projects. He doesn't mean any harm to anyone, his brain is just like "Shiny!" and puts it in his pockets.

Kazunari Miyoshi: King of drunks, loves party punches that are just a jumble of alcohol, juice, and candy. Also the King of dealing with hangovers, once the youths of the summer troupe are able to drink he'll take a step back and take care of them while their drink and then help nurse any hangovers. Actually a great guy to drink with, he's the designated driver? he won't touch a drop of alcohol. Need him to watch your drink he'll protect it his life. When he's the one drinking he'll get these "great" ideas for art project and scribble them down. Once he's sober he'll look at these ideas and their just scribbles that a kindergartener could do.

Kumon Hyodo: Not many health benefit to drinking, bitter red wine is said to be good for you but it's bitter...and expensive. Would have the occasional beer with his bro or his troupe mates but never enough to blackout.

Though he thought it was a little strange at first, but got used to it eventually.

He doesn't talk about it much, but you could tell how much he admires her pride for her job, and he regularly watches her performances!

He thinks that she's so amazing and is really talented to be able to pull off such roles and he supports her fully :)

When she seems troubled about a certain role, a line, or a part that she's singing, Masumi is right there by her side to help!

He tries his best to help her, and brings her water in between practices and encourages her to take a break <3
