Edit: nahh this is kuras's clinic with ais in it rather than ais himself
Tho i wonder if the seaspring could smell like a church bc of all the smokiness

i'm brand new to the world fragrances, and i've spent the day perusing fragrantica for some ideas of the types of scents there are, what usually goes together, etc, but honestly it's all still kind of overwhelming... do you happen to have any recommended fragrances that are a bit citrus/fruit-y? i'm not sure if this helps at all but just from descriptions/reviews i'm interested in carnal flower from frederic malle and tom yum from prissana
hmm my go-to citrusy fragrance is acqua di gio! i use an oil perfume dupe as one of my usual daily scents lol. i see that you've got at least a bit of budget considering you're interested in carnal flower and tom yum, but i have to say theyre VERY different scents and you can't ever tell what you like just from reviews
in addition, even if you like how something smells in the bottle, you need to try wearing it because different scents smell different on different people. i'm personally obsessed with tom ford's oud woods scent, but i don't own it because it smells like absolute shit on me 🤦‍♂️
my advice would be 1. go to sephora and start smelling stuff. find a worker who's into perfume and have them guide you through it 2. get a sample pack!
maison margiela has a line called replica where each scent is based off a certain setting and vibe. the sample pack is $39 online at sephora. though if you want to get more bang for your buck at a small business, inkling scents' everything sampler at $35 might be of interest. something like this would give you a wide variety to smell and try, as well as give you a more tangible headstart on what fragrance notes you like :)
i also encourage you to look at smaller stores on etsy! you'll save money and find just as many interesting fragrances

Top 3 Perfumes
I was asked recently what my favourite perfumes were, and I knew right away what to say. I absolutely love fragrance and have quite a few that I like and love, but there are always 4/5 that will stand head and shoulders above the rest.
