K-Tigers Zero - Warrior (by B.A.P)
Didn’t know anything about this group before watching this, so the fact they’re all legit martial artists was pretty surprising. I didn’t expect them to blend the taekwondo and dance moves together so smoothly. Parts of this choreo are just insane and they can all seriously dance just as well as they do martial arts.
After looking into them a bit, the whole martial arts / kpop cover performance team turning into an actual idol group seems like a cool concept. Also seeing their cover of Between Us by Laboum shows at least a few of them actually know how to sing,

Do you think Anchan will be fine during Miracle Wave?
Deep down, I think she will be. But of course, I can’t help but worry.
The stunt that everyone has been comparing this to is of course You’s leapfrog in KimiKoko. While I still have a mini heart attack every time Shukashuu has to do it, admittedly I have full faith that Shukashuu will pull it off every time. Shukashuu has said herself that the move isn’t that difficult for her. In one of the early Uraraji episodes, she mentioned that even if Ainya and Suwawa happened to have been slightly off in their positioning for the vault, she still would’ve been able to do it. The leapfrog itself is simply a matter of being able to do the splits (which Shukashuu definitely seems able to do easily) and making sure not to accidentally kick the heads of the people you’re vaulting over.
The flip for “MIRACLE WAVE”, on the other hand, is difficult for even professional idols to perform, much less 2.5D idols like the Love Live crew. Furthermore, I assume that Anchan will have to do this move for every leg of the 3rd Live tour. Do the math - three legs (Saitama, Osaka, and Fukuoka) times two days each means that Anchan will have to do this move, at most, six times.
Do I think that she’ll have to do it? If I were to be completely honest, I really wouldn’t mind if they changed that part of the dance so Anchan would either not do the flip or at least do some kind of less dangerous move. I worry for these girls and value their health above the small thrill I get at seeing how much work they put into learning the dances.
But of course, the point of these live performances is to have the cast emulate the original designs as much as possible except for the Guilty Kiss subunit outfits wtf where’s my Rikyako in a necktie & vest. I also know for a fact that Shukashuu has emphatically stated that she’ll do anything that You ends up doing in the dance PVs. Off the top of my head, I can’t recall if Anchan has said this too…but knowing how much Anchan loves the series and wants to do her best as the leader, I assume that she feels the same way, and this part of the choreo is inevitably gonna stay.
As for whether Anchan can pull it off, part of that depends on exactly how much karate Anchan did when she was younger and how much of that athleticism she’s retained. I’m no martial arts expert, but I do have a couple of friends with black belts in taekwondo, and at least one or two of them can do backflips without having their hands touch the ground. I know that Anchan’s at least capable of huge jumps and roundhouse kicks and swift punches, so it’s possible that the MIRACLE WAVE flip is totally doable for Anchan.
There’s also the matter of confidence, as half the battle in pulling something off is believing that you can do it (see: Chika’s struggle to learn the move in Ep6; also refer to Shukashuu’s total confidence in doing the KimiKoko leapfrog). Anchan always speaks self-deprecatingly about her own dance ability - she mentions asking Shukashuu and Aikyan for dance advice on Uraraji, and during the Oct ‘17 niconama she said that she was like “oh crap” when she found out that that she was gonna be dancing with Aikyan and Shukashuu during the intense instrumental break in “Daydream Warrior”. When she saw that Chika did this move, Anchan might have been thinking, “Out of all the talented people in Aqours, the one who has to do this insane flip is me?!”
However, I personally think that Anchan is a fantastic dancer, and has gotten even better since she first started out in Aqours. I feel that Anchan’s confidence as a dancer has grown a lot as well after having to do the insane choreo in “Daydream Warrior” and “Thrilling One Way”. Will she be nervous about this move? I’d be astounded if she wasn’t. But keep in mind that we have about half a year until the 3rd Live tour - that’s plenty of time for Anchan to try out the move and consult with the team on whether she’s gonna be able to pull it off. No matter what Anchan decides to do, I’ll be cheering her on.
