I re-read THE SELECTION! Now I’m half way towards the end of Happily Ever After. Marlee’s part really is my Favourite.

I love these series so much. Kiera Casa doesn’t have any idea how much I needed these books back in 2021 when I remembered I had to read them :)) And now I’m going though all the feelings I went back then and I’m loving it. I love Maxon, the most perfect baby to ever exist. I love America even if she annoyed me with her Aspen and her stupid decisions sometimes 😂 I love Marlee and Carter and Lucy and all the girls there. Queen Amberly was such a sweetheart. And yes, I love Celeste :)) she is the character development, she is the myth, the legend and she is the moment 😜

I think I don’t like few people in this story. Well, I didn’t like Aspen until he got with Lucy. So, the remaining one, Clarkson Schreave, is the only character I hate hahahah 😅

what's your favorite book in the selection series? what would you do if you were suddenly transported into the book series? -💙

Ohhh, great questions!

I think my favorite is either The Elite or The One. To me, The One has the most action, but The Elite does help flesh the series out.

The Elite has the Halloween ball and discovering about Marlee and Carter. Also when the Italians meet America and Kriss and they, unbeknownst to the other girls, take a stand behind America.

The One has some great quotes (and a great monologue - thank you Aspen, haha) that I can never get out of my head! Also, it's obviously conclusion of Maxon and America's love story and everything gets tied together!

If I was transported into the book series, I guess it would depend on what my role would be once I was there! If I was a member of the selection vs a family member/close friend of one of the selected vs a compete third party unrelated to anyone who's in the selection! Let me know if you want me to delve deeper into this more.

The Selection novellas, February 2014

This book takes place in the middle of The Elite. Starting when Marlee and Carter were found in the closet and ending shortly after the rebel attack where America was lost in the woods.

Everything is from Aspen's point of view. I have learned so much. Aspen is a gorgeous as hell loose cannon(my favorite kind). We even got to see some of Maxon's fire.

There are only a handful of times I respect Maxon. I'm glad I got another one near the end of this book. Aspen, I'm going to have to fix the rating scale, again.

Ratings are now out of 56

Aspen gets 42.01 We didn't get very good physical descriptions of some of the other guards but I'd like to imagine Markson as a light blond, maybe with some curls. He was my favorite after Aspen.
