HOW NEHRU CAN TRULY BE CALLED 'THE ARCHITECT OF INDIA'S BIMARU ECONOMIC STRUCTURE'. ................................................................................. - HOW NEHRU INCOMPETENTLY, & PER MANY HISTORIANS, MALICIOUSLY, RUINED EASTERN INDIAN ECONOMIES, LIKE BENGAL, BIHAR, JHARKHAND, MADHYA PRADESH, CHHATTISGARH, & ORISSA, BY HIS ONE SIDED (SUBSIDIZED/EQUALIZED FREIGHT COST OF RAW MATERIAL ONLY & NOT FOR FINISHED GOODS) FREIGHT EQUALIZATION POLICY. - HOW NEHRU IN THE GARB OF A SOCIALIST INDIA, MANAGED TO CREATED A REGRESSIVELY CAPITALISTIC INDIA INSTEAD.
Here are India's 60 yr Share of Wealth stats, from 1961-2020, taken from the 'World Inequality Database'.
Looking at which, most would be forced to ask, why is it that in a wholly socialized state like India (& heavily publicized so at that for 60 yrs)....that our Top 1% 's share in wealth goes up 3 times, Top 10%'s share goes up 1.5 times, BUT SHARE OF THE BOTTOM 50% IS LITERALLY HALVED?
The answer to this lies largely in one man, Nehru, & his policies, either incompetently unintentional or maliciously intentional, policies directly responsible for creating a deeply disparate & heavily lopsided yet overall non-flourishing economic structure, for the entire first half century of the 'Dominion (of Britain) India'.
And the biggest mishap-causing misadventure, being 1951's infamous FREIGHT EQUALIZATION POLICY.
👇
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freight_equalisation_policy#:~:text=Freight%20equalisation%20policy%20was%20adopted,subsidised%20by%20the%20central%20government.
Above is the Russian Govt+military reaction, to Indian 'independence' in mid 1947. This article was published in the Russian central military newspaper 'Red Star' on July 31, 1947, just 2 weeks before the official date of India's so-called Independence.
"Chief economic positions still remain in British hands–railways, marine transport, port economy, irrigation systems, finance, basic part of jute, industry, almost whole mining industry etc"
“The defence of economic positions and interests is not possible without political power. That power will be secured in the person of the capitalists, landowners and businessmen who are dependent upon British capital.”
“The partition, does not affect the feudal power of the Princes who have always supported British domination.”
"The British Govt plans to artificially separate industrial from agricultural areas, turning it to a agrarian & raw material appendage of Britain."
Exactly what Nehru's Freight Equalization Policy achieved 4 yrs later!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And to add to what y'all I assume would already have read from above, as to it's evil designs & effects, it created a reverse-reward scenario, whereby all the resource-rich states were essentially penalized for their natural advantages, by taking away all incentive for processing-industries & final transportation industries, that are a logical next step from the extraction industries, to germinate & set base in these places. Thereby creating a scenario where the South-western & western coastal states like Maharashtra, Gujarat & Tamil Nadu, & parts of Punjab in North India, were able to find logical easy base for all the processing & transportation industries in their states, for industries like steel, cement, heavy manufacturing, & power, all enabled via raw materials from the other far-off states, like iron ore, coal, limestone, bauxite, copper etc, even w/o any personal natural resources to rely on themselves, merely by virtue of being easy locations to set up ports in for exports, & w/o industries having to compromise on higher transportation & value-added processing costs, that cost aspect equalized & protected for all distances from the resource point. All this, with resource states not finding even some respite in terms of return benefits from any possibly subsidized finished product costs, finished goods not covered by this policy!
These 4-5 states effectively thus became the parasites, for atleast 7 of the traditionally god-gifted states of today like Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Bengal & Uttar Pradesh, killing all their hope at industrial development & economic progress, & where there is economic (or lotsa times attached) spiritual hopelessness, springs leftism in all it's devious forms, giving birth to intense communism & it's shameful offsprings of caste-divide & gang-culture, literally turning these states HOUSING HALF OF INDIA'S POPULATION, into the pot-holes of the Indian Union -the BIMARU (for Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh) states of India.
Now in all of this, it's not as if the above-mentioned coastal states were turning themselves into heavens of prosperity either, merely relatively well-off & with a hopeful disposition of the future, that in itself enough to attract large-scale migration from the above BIMARU states, particularly Maharashtra with a more traditionally Hindi-friendly ambience, but also in TN, creating a new urban housing problem, giving birth anew to Mumbai's infamously gargantuan chawl (dingy hutment) lifestyle.
And the reasons for these states, given all these special privileges, not able to take off well enough, aren't directly visible, yet that we can now, on basis of our analysis of Nehru & his so-called Independent India, over innumerable blogs prior, safely interpret, to be an India yet functioning in 1950s & till mid-1960s as some sort of a vassal state of Britain. Only natural then for a supreme state in such a relationship, to not be assumed to desire nations other than itself any sorta economic or strategic base in it's territory, thus curtailing more robust foreign economic to-and-fro.
A utterly class-subservient bent, not seen just for the British race, but per historians, eg Kanchan Gupta, in his hateful sense of complex & hatred of dark-skinned & skinny Bengali community, even worse passionate Hindu Durga-lovers, & per many, all largely borne of his hatred for Bose.
And thus ends yet another inglorious chapter from the life of the self-confessed Last British Ruler of India.
The Tale of the Internal Destruction of India, & it's Premier at it.

Indian Ocean
Third largest ocean.
Almost 7 times the size of the US
It borders India in the North, East Africa, Australia, and the Southern Ocean.
Because of the higher water temperature, it has limited marine life.
Since about 800 A.D. the Indian Ocean has played an important role in trading. For centuries, navigators have sailed along major ocean currents for shipment routes.
Total: 70.56 million sq km
Coastline: 66,526 km
Note: includes Andaman Sea, Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, Great Australian Bight, Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, Mozambique Channel, Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Savu Sea, Strait of Malacca, Timor Sea, and other tributary water bodies
Climate: Northeast monsoon (December to April), southwest monsoon (June to October); tropical cyclones occur during May/June and October/November in the northern Indian Ocean and January/February in the southern Indian Ocean
Ocean Volume:  264 million cu km
Percent of World Ocean Total Volume: 19.8%
Bathymetry
Continental Shelf: A rather flat area of the sea floor adjacent to the coast that gradually slopes down from the shore to water depths of about 200 m (660 ft). Dimensions can vary: they may be narrow or nearly nonexistent in some places or extend for hundreds of miles in others. The waters along the continental shelf are usually productive in both plant and animal life, both from sunlight and nutrients from ocean upwelling and terrestrial runoff.
Exmouth Plateau
Indus Canyon
The Swatch of No Ground/Ganges Canyon (Bay of Bengal)
Sunda Shelf
Continental Slope: Where the ocean bottom drops off more rapidly until it meets the deep-sea floor (abyssal plain) at about 3,200 m (10,500 ft) water depth. The deep waters of the continental slope are characterized by cold temperatures, low light conditions, and very high pressures. Sunlight does not penetrate to these depths, having been absorbed or reflected in the water above. The continental slope can be indented by submarine canyons, often associated with the outflow of major rivers. Another feature of the continental slope are alluvial fans or cones of sediments carried downstream to the ocean by major rivers and deposited down the slope.
Bengal Fan
Indus Fan
Abyssal Plains: At depths of over 3,000 m (10,000 ft) and covering 70% of the ocean floor, are the largest habitat on earth. Sunlight does not penetrate to the sea floor, making these deep, dark ecosystems less productive than those along the continental shelf. Despite their name, these “plains” are not uniformly flat; they are interrupted by features like hills, valleys, and seamounts.
Arabian Basin
Crozet Basin
Madagascar Basin
Mid-Indian Basin
Mozambique Basin
Wharton Basin
Mid-Ocean Ridge: Rising up from the abyssal plain, is an underwater mountain range, over 64,000 km (40,000 mi) long, rising to an average depth of 2,400 m (8,000 ft). Mid-ocean ridges form at divergent plate boundaries where two tectonic plates are moving apart and new crust is created by magma pushing up from the mantle. Tracing their way around the global ocean, this system of underwater volcanoes forms the longest mountain range on Earth. Fracture Zones are linear transform faults that develop perpendicular to the line of the mid-ocean ridge which can offset the ridge line and divide it into segments.
Central Indian Ridge
Davie Ridge
Southeast Indian Ridge
Southwest Indian Ridge
Undersea Terrain Features: The Abyssal Plain is commonly interrupted by a variety of commonly named undersea terrain features including seamounts, guyots, ridges, and plateaus. Seamounts are submarine mountains at least 1,000 m (3,300 ft) high formed from individual volcanoes on the ocean floor. They are distinct from the plate-boundary volcanic system of the mid-ocean ridges, because seamounts tend to be circular or conical. A circular collapse caldera is often centered at the summit, evidence of a magma chamber within the volcano. Flat topped seamounts are known as guyots. Long chains of seamounts are often fed by "hot spots" in the deep mantle. These hot spots are associated with stationary plumes of molten rock rising from deep within the Earth's mantle. These hot spot plumes melt through the overlying tectonic plate as it moves and supplies magma to the active volcanic island at the end of the chain of volcanic islands and seamounts. An undersea ridge is an elongated elevation of varying complexity and size, generally having steep sides. An undersea plateau is a large, relatively flat elevation that is higher than the surrounding relief with one or more relatively steep sides. Although submerged, these features can reach close to sea level.
Andaman-Nicobar Ridge
Chagos-Laccadive Ridge
Kerguelen Plateau
Madagascar Plateau
Mascarene Plateau
Mozambique Plateau
Ninetyeast Ridge
Ocean Trenches: The deepest parts of the ocean floor and are created by the process of subduction. Trenches form along convergent boundaries where tectonic plates are moving toward each other, and one plate sinks (is subducted) under another. The location where the sinking of a plate occurs is called a subduction zone. Subduction can occur when oceanic crust collides with and sinks under (subducts) continental crust resulting in volcanic, seismic, and mountain-building processes. Subduction can also occur in the convergence of two oceanic plates where one will sink under the other and in the process create a deep ocean trench. Subduction processes in oceanic-oceanic plate convergence also result in the formation of volcanoes. Over millions of years, the erupted lava and volcanic debris pile up on the ocean floor until a submarine volcano rises above sea level to form a volcanic island. Such volcanoes are typically strung out in chains called island arcs. As the name implies, volcanic island arcs, which closely parallel the trenches, are generally curved.
Java/Sunda Trench; deepest point in the Indian Ocean
Atolls: The remains of dormant volcanic islands. In warm tropical oceans, coral colonies establish themselves on the margins of the island. Then, over time, the high elevation of the island collapses and erodes away to sea level leaving behind an outline of the island in the form of the fringing coral reef. The resulting low island is typified by the coral reef surrounding a low elevation of sand and coral above sea level with an interior shallow lagoon. Often times the remaining dry land is broken into a ring of islets. Some lagoons can be hundreds of square kilometers. It may take as long as 300,000 years for an atoll formation to occur. Guyots are submerged atoll structures, which explains why they are flat topped seamounts.
Bassas da India
Chagos Archipelago/Diego Garcia
Europa Island
Juan de Nova Island
Lakshadweep Islands
Maldive Islands
Seychelles
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Elevation
Highest Point:
Lowest Point: Java Trench -7,192 m unnamed deep
Mean Depth: -3,741 m
Ocean Zones: Composed of water and in a fluid state, the oceans are delimited differently than the solid continents. Oceans are divided into three zones based on depth and light level. Although some sea creatures depend on light to live, others can do without it. Sunlight entering the water may travel about 1,000 m into the oceans under the right conditions, but there is rarely any significant light beyond 200 m.
The upper 200 m (656 ft) of oceans is called the euphotic, or "sunlight," zone. This zone contains the vast majority of commercial fisheries and is home to many protected marine mammals and sea turtles. Only a small amount of light penetrates beyond this depth.
The zone between 200 m (656 ft) and 1,000 m (3,280 ft) is usually referred to as the "twilight" zone, but is officially the dysphotic zone. In this zone, the intensity of light rapidly dissipates as depth increases. Such a minuscule amount of light penetrates beyond a depth of 200 m that photosynthesis is no longer possible.
The aphotic, or "midnight," zone exists in depths below 1,000 m (3,280 ft). Sunlight does not penetrate to these depths and the zone is bathed in darkness.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Natural Resources: Oil and gas fields, fish, shrimp, sand and gravel aggregates, placer deposits, polymetallic nodules
Natural Hazards: Occasional icebergs pose navigational hazard in southern reaches
Geography - Note: Major chokepoints include Bab el Mandeb, Strait of Hormuz, Strait of Malacca, southern access to the Suez Canal, and the Lombok Strait
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Environment
Enviornment - Current Issues: Marine pollution caused by ocean dumping, improper waste disposal, and oil spills; deep sea mining; oil pollution in Arabian Sea, Persian Gulf, and Red Sea; coral reefs threatened due to climate change, direct human pressures, and inadequate governance, awareness, and political will; loss of biodiversity; endangered marine species include the dugong, seals, turtles, and whales
Climate: Northeast monsoon (December to April), southwest monsoon (June to October); tropical cyclones occur during May/June and October/November in the northern Indian Ocean and January/February in the southern Indian Ocean
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Major Seaport(s): Chennai (Madras, India); Colombo (Sri Lanka); Durban (South Africa); Jakarta (Indonesia); Kolkata (Calcutta, India); Melbourne (Australia); Mumbai (Bombay, India); Richards Bay (South Africa)

Ingredients:
- 500 grams small fish (such as hilsa, rohu, or catfish) - 2 onions, finely chopped - 4 garlic cloves, minced - 1-inch piece of ginger, grated - 2 green chilies, slit lengthwise - 2 tomatoes, chopped - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon red chili powder - 1 teaspoon cumin powder - 1 teaspoon coriander powder - 1 teaspoon garam masala powder - Salt to taste - Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish) - Mustard oil for cooking
Instructions:
1. Clean and wash the small fish thoroughly. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel and set aside. 2. Heat mustard oil in a pan or kadai over medium heat. Once hot, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies to the pan. Sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears. 4. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they turn mushy and soft. 5. Reduce the heat to low and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute. 6. Add the small fish to the pan and gently coat them with the masala mixture. Be careful not to break the fish. 7. Cover the pan and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and tender. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. 8. Sprinkle garam masala powder over the curry and mix gently. Cook for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. 9. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves. 10. Serve the Bengali small fish curry hot with steamed rice or roti. Enjoy the village-style flavors! Note: Adjust the spice levels according to your taste preferences. You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice for a tangy twist.

Want To Know About The Andaman And Nicobar Beaches
Andaman and Nicobar, on the east coast of India spreading its wings in the Bay of Bengal, is the matchless, rich forest Island state due to its natural geographic location. It is an ideal holiday site because of the lovely unspoilt and unexplored beaches and coastal areas. Being a cluster of 572 islands, 362 islands are volcanic in nature out of which only 37 are populated. Backed by tranquil surroundings of luminous white sandy beaches canopied by tropical rain forests, a translucent turquoise sea with dolphins and fishes, and coral reefs; the green islands have a memorable history and offer a colorful present. Apart from beaches, these islands are famous for colorful shells, handmade palm mats, and delicately imprinted wooden items.
Invaded by the French, Dutch, Japanese, and British, the islands have witnessed furious battles between the colonizers and the local inhabitants. One such must visiting historic place is the Cellular Jail where many Indian fighters were jailed at the time of the Indian freedom struggle. Current families of these prisoners and the native tribes make up the population of the modern Andaman and Nicobar. Unlike other exotic visits, you will come across the tropical rain forests housing distinct birds attracting botany lovers and tribes that still do not know to use fire.
Ideal destination for marine and water sport lovers, swim in the waves with dolphins and multihued fishes and perform snorkeling and scuba diving in the clear waters. Sandy beaches are also popular for turtle nesting for which the aquatic species are Leather Back Turtle, Green Sea Turtle, Hawksbill Turtle, Olive Ridley Turtle, Water Monitor Lizard, Salt Water Crocodiles, and Reticulate Python.
Let’s now take a look at the beaches of Andaman and Nicobar islands.
Beaches of Port Blair (The Capital of Islands)
Tumblr media
Port Blair, named after Lt. Archibald Blair who represented the East India Company, is the land of arrival and departure of these islands that has a coral marvel nearby. The famous beach here is Corbyn Cove and Chidiya Tapu. Perfect for swimming, sea bathing, basking, and relaxing, the extraordinary good-looking Corbyn Cove sea beach provides magnificent views. The Peerless Resort at a stone’s throw and the Hornbill Nest Guest House nearby offer a scenic view of the blue waters.
Located at the southern end of the Andaman’s, the Chidiya Tapu covered by lovely forests, has many sandy beaches are canopied with the dense mangrove forests. These forests are an abode of many species of birds. You can imagine yourself on a beach holiday to the Chidiya Tapu having a delicious picnic lunch accompanied by the melodious background music of continuously purring of the sea and tweeting of the birds.
Beaches of Wandoor
Lying on the west coast of the Southern Andaman Island, Wandoor is among the exotic, non-populated, and faultless islands that offer cool beaches, spectacular corals, and remarkable marine life. Catch a boat from Wandoor jetty at 10 a.m., roam through splendid mangrove creeks for an hour, and reach the close islands of Grub, Red Skin, and Jolly Buoy. At Red Skin and Jolly Buoy, you can enjoy viewing tropical marine life and an astonishing labyrinth of corals. Glass-bottom boats and snorkeling equipment are what will attract you to stay there whose details can be obtained by the tour operator. Only day excursions are permitted abandoning stays at night.
Good beaches here are just perfect for sea bathing and basking. Because of the brittle ecosystem, the area has become a part of Marine National Park named Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park that includes 15 major islands and many islets that offer underwater views of coral and marine fauna. Among its lush marine species are the four species of turtles, the dugong, and the salt-water crocodile.
Beaches of Cinque Island
Tumblr media
This is another outing specifically for water sports located at a distance of 25 km south of Port Blair. The Cinque Island provides a great scope for scuba diving, swimming, and camping with the delightful underwater coral gardens and faultless shores – particularly the amazing sand bar connecting two islets. Not being very deep, the seas surrounding the island are wealthy in corals. Here is the chance to greet the frolicking dolphins. Just spending a day here will quench your thirst for such experiences; however, its memory will always keep instigating a feeling of wishing for more such holidays.
Beaches of Havelock and Neil Islands
Tumblr media
These islands must form a part of your visit and both of them are well linked to Port Blair. This link is the inter-island shipping route where ships offering a safe travel are the lifeline. Not offering any kind of luxury, it is worth passing these ships to view these islands. Unlike Wandoor islands, you can stay here overnight and can take pleasure in observing the stretched virgin beaches of Havelock. Waters providing a lush marine life, you can be lucky enough to have a glimpse of frolicking dolphins just at a little further distance from the bathing site.
The Radhanagar and Vijaynagar Beach in Havelock are major attractions here as it offers unpolluted surroundings of Andaman & Nicobar Islands for the one who loves cleanness and freshness. Radhanagar beach is at a distance of 7 km from the Dolphin Yatri Niwas; whereas, the Vijaynagar beach is just in the facade front of the Niwas.
Harminder Bay Beach
These are located at the Hut Bay Island at 100 km from the Port Blair city. Similar to Havelock and Neil islands, these islands are too connected by inter-island shipping routes.
Karmatang Beach
This site located at the turtle nesting ground is under construction to convert it into a tourist complex. Situated at a distance of 240 km by road and 136 km by sea route from Port Blair, it is at Mayabunder that is to the northern part of Middle Andaman.
Ramnagar Beach
Connected by only two boats traveling from Mayabunder daily and twice a week from Port Blair, it is a sun-shined golden beach of Andaman situated at Diglipur Island.
Other Attractions
These include some more islands of historical significance and beautiful fauna.
Rutland Island
Good site for training open water divers, the waters here are not deep and encompass smaller fishes and coral.
Snake Island
This is a worth visiting site for grand rock faces and dive landscape. It also houses marine species such as Triggerfish, Grunts, Goatfish, and Rays.
Ross Island
Been the capital during British rule, you can view the relics of the old building and a museum called Smritika that houses British-related photographs and the other antiques.
Viper Island
This island was the spot to lock the prisoners at British time. The first jail was built on this island that was not used after Cellular Jail. The gibbet on the top of a hill has witnessed the deaths of prisoners, as it was at this place that they were hanged. One of those was Sher Ali, who killed the Viceroy of India in 1872.
Chatham Island
This island hosts the biggest and most ancient Saw Mill of Asia and the Haddo Harbor.
Best Time to Visit
October to May
Reaching the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
By air, you can catch a flight of Indian Airlines and Jet Airways from Kolkata (1250 km) and Chennai (1200 km). By sea, you catch a cruise to Port Blair from Kolkata and Chennai every week. The journey time is nearly 3-4 days.
