trans remus in any au where he's a werewolf is so funny because he actively chooses to call himself remus. it opens up a room of reasons that i think all have some sort of funny to them

his deadname could've meant something related to the wolf/moon, he decides "why the fuck not" and does it again

copes with being a werewolf in the strangest way

doesn't find out what it means until after he settles with remus.

never finds out what it means and just spends his whole life (short) with a pun as a name (i find this slightly ooc but eh)
