This whole summer I’m going to be the epitome of “Black Women In Luxury” and that’s that on that.

I love my life and it’s so important to love the life you’re currently living. Sure all your goals haven’t been achieved yet and sure there’s still a higher life of luxury and greatness ahead for you but they are only accessible if you’re truly grateful and happy for the you are currently living.

I’m thankful for the little things, for the small victories. Thankful that I can afford my own place, afford my own car, afford my own groceries, afford to buy clothes and little things that make me gleeful like romance novels, Starbucks coffee, chocolate, wine. I’m happy I can provide for myself, provide for my family and friends if they need it. I can take days off work to relax and centre myself and I don’t have to worry about finances. I can enjoy a home cooked meal by myself or invite a friend over to cook with me. I love my little nature walks, taking in the greenery and the beauty that the universe created for us.

Life is so beautiful and so so great and as amazing as it is now, I know it’ll only get better from here.

Content and happy. So grateful for the life I lead.

the recent attacks scared me so much. it's gotten so bad that my grandma warned me to stay safe and asked if I was okay. im scared. i really am.
