Ancient Iru

The following is my final constructions for pre-proto-iru, proto-iru, and ancient Iru. PPI is the language that existed before writing and with the lost logograms. PI is what was recorded when the (loosely) featural alphabet was created. Ancient Iru is what the language sounded like by the time it made contact with the proto-Ryashi language.

So to reiterate: PPI is the ancestor, PI is the way it’s written, AI is how it’s pronounced.

Romanisation is pretty straightforward but here’s the special characters

So like.... because you mentioned it, and because I am an awful smitten shipper - any thoughts/headcanons about the Kamakiri/Fukidashi ship that you might be willing to share? (I've been really enjoying your Kamakiri headanons, so I wanted to say something about that too.)

Also sorry if a lot of these are about Kamakiri, I’m literally addicted to him, I hope you don’t mind 😭 LMAO

Kamakiri never really had a problem with Fukidashi but, Kamakiri being Kamakiri and wanting to keep up his “reputation”, he was still a bit of an ass to Fukidashi in the beginning of the school year

When Fukidashi confessed that he had a crush on Kamakiri, Kamakiri thought it was a joke and laughed. Once he realized it wasn’t a joke, ohhhh boy his heart dropped and his face turned reddd

If he’s saying something sweet or complimenting Fukidashi on something, in public, then he’ll get down to Fukidashi’s height a bit more and speak softly and a bit quietly since he likes to keep up his tough and mean reputation lmao he doesn’t want people to know he’s a bit soft, y’know?

Fukidashi doesn’t fear bugs as much as he used to anymore, thanks to Kamakiri. Plus, he feels bad whenever he kills one and Kamakiri watches cuz Kamakiri always has this sad and hurt look on his face, it literally bums him out to much to see someone kill a bug

Lemme just say- Angry, tough punk dude x dramatic, friendly art dude 😩

Kamakiri is literally TERRIFIED of accidentally cutting Fukidashi with his blade mandible things, or just accidentally hurting him in general. It would literally make him feel like shit

Fukidashi is one of the only few people to see Kamakiri with his hair down and unstyled. He thinks it looks cute both unstyled and styled :))

Before they started dating, Kamakiri being Kamakiri, would try to intimidate Fukidashi by either trying to make him flinch or by threatening him but Fukidashi just,,, wasn’t phased LMAO he just wasn’t scared of Kamakiri and this confused Kamakiri and lowkey made him a bit frustrated

Kamakiri kinda tried to deny and push his feelings away when he found out that he had a crush on Fukidashi but it just wouldn’t go away, no matter what he did

Once Kamakiri found out that Fukidashi liked butterflies, he immediately went out to catch one. Once he caught one, he caught it in a little plastic cage thingy and gave it to Fukidashi with a huge smile on his face, feeling proud of himself. This made Fukidashi super happy, since Kamakiri put al that effort into catching one just for him!! Super sweet!!

They’re both not really the jealous type but Kamakiri’s definitely the more jealous one LMAO

Whenever Fukidashi shows Kamakiri a drawing he made, Kamakiri’s always so supportive - “Woah that looks so good!” “You’re so talented!” “You did amazing, looks great!”

I said this in a post before but Kamakiri often makes trips to the convenient store before school or just whenever he wants- but anyways, he always makes sure to text or call Fukidashi to see if he wants anything. If he gets snacks and a drink then so does Fukidashi :))

Kamakiri doesn’t really like PDA but Fukidashi would kinda ignore that and always give him hugs. Kamakiri’s grown to not care anymore but Fukidashi respects his boundaries so they never kiss or anything like that in public. Hugging and secret hand-holding is okay with Kamakiri but nothing too extreme

Fukidashi has definitely drawn Kamakiri without realizing it like, okay so, he’ll just be bored and kinda zoned out so he just draws and just let his hand do whatever it wants and then when he sees that he’s drawn Kamakiri, he’s like “Oh wait,,, Oh I drew Kamakiri OOPS”

Dear stranger, are you kidding me? Asking me about ManGaru?

I love them!

To make an extremely long story short, the height difference is so adorable, and Manga being the chilled person he is would be more than fine with Togaru randomly picking him up and carrying him from place to place. Togaru being an awkward tsun-tsun towards his tiny boyfriend is oddly endearing too. The sharp and soft couple.

Papadahandi--

Papadahandi Panchayat in Nabarangpur district of Odisha occupies a special place in the history of the Indian freedom struggle. On the banks of the Turi River, 26 freedom fighters were shot dead by British police. Many of the ancient Shiva temples here are also a tourist attraction.

Contribution to the freedom struggle-- On August 26, 1922, thousands of Congress workers from across Nabarangpur district, led by Madhav Padhani, a militant from Siuni village, gathered at Gummaguda. From there he marched in a peaceful procession towards Dabuga. The spies reported the incident to Ramakrishna Patnaik, a Papadahandi police officer. Ramakrishna Patnaik was known as "Kalanag" for his evil deeds. The armed forces were formed in anticipation of imminent danger. While the wood spouting in the River the trumpets in their steps, there is anoniming over to the wepled to wear. In protest, they clashed with British police as protesters marched on a jail holding others detained. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a British police station. Outraged, the British police fired indiscriminately. Many freedom fighters stumbled upon the pole, while others fought to the death. Many freedom fighters were troubled in Pulice sticky. Twelve freedom fighters were killed and at least 16 were injured in what became known as the Cold War. There were also several serious injuries. 108 militants were arrested.

List of martyrs-- Bastia Bhatara, Daleiguda, Sudhu Bhatara, Nandahandi, Sacrifice Saura, Tanda, Budu Amanatya, Umuripadar, Ratan Randhari, Turunji, Shukru Muduli, Murlabar, Khagapati Amanatya, Kangra, Bharat Pujari, Usuripadar, Ramchandra Amanatya, Fusuga, Ghasizani, Nuagaon, Budu Amanatya, Turunji, Jagannath Amanyat, Patraput, Sadev Pujari, Pateiguda, Mangaru Bhatara, Umarigaon, Joy, sorrow, Paramananda Saura, Mantriguda, Lord Bhatra, Minister, Shyam Sundargarh, Saruguda, In memory of these martyrs, Papadahandi has been erected on the banks of the Turi River. Inside this 'Shahid Minar' is the 'Martyr's Memorial Pillar'. State level Martyrs' Day is celebrated here on August 24 every year.
