Random anime recs !!

I get bored really often and I look up for anime/manga rec lists so I thought I should make one in case someone needs it too :p I'll try my best to avoid the really popular ones!

Orange | Drama, Romance

Everyone has regrets in life. So who wouldn't take the chance to change the past if given the opportunity? When sixteen-year-old Takamiya Naho receives a mysterious letter, claiming to be from her twenty-seven-year-old self, her life is suddenly thrown into flux. The letter tells her that a new transfer student by the name of Naruse Kakeru will be joining her class, and to keep her eye on him. But why? Naho must decide what to make of the letter and its cryptic warning, and what it means not only for her future, but for Kakeru's as well.

Personal comment: If you like tear-jerkers then this is definitely a good anime for you. I really appreciate animes that make me like the entire cast rather than just the protagonists and that was a case with this one too. Suwa best boy!

Fukumenkei noise | Music, Romance

It tells a romance story with the themes of "music x one-sided love." Nino, a girl who loves singing, made a childhood promise with her first crush Momo and song-composing Yuzu to someday find her voice. The three went their separate ways, but Nino kept her promise and continued to sing. Years later, the three are now high school students, and Nino is drawn into the world of band clubs.

Personal comment: This anime was so fun to watch that I completed watching it in a day and I really liked the music too. This is one of those animes that make you feel like you wanna get up and grab a guitar too. The anime ending was satisfactory but I felt kinda attached to the characters so I'm reading the manga now.

Mikagura school suite | Action, Comedy, Fantasy, Yuri

It revolves around high school girl Eruna Ichinomiya, who enters the Mikagura Academy dreaming of a boarding school life filled with beauty. However, Eruna finds out that in the culture clubs, there is a rule that battles that are fought with special powers decide a club representative's treatment. Through various circumstances, Eruna becomes a representative of a club, and is thrown into the fray.

Personal comment: 😭 Eruna really picks a school just because of a girl that she saw in the pamphlet and pretty uniforms. Also she's gay as fuck.

Sakurasou no pet na kanojo | Comedy, Romance, Slice of life

The first time he saw her, it was love at first sight. Unfortunately for Sorata Kanda, "she" was a cat named Hikari and his school's rules forbid keeping pets in the regular dorms. As a result, Sorata is banished to the infamous Sakura Hall alongside other troublesome and unusual students like Jin, overzealous playboy, Ryuunosuke, the reclusive hermit, and Mashiro, a brilliant artist who's so unfocused and clueless about the real world that dorm supervisor Ms. Sengoku assigns Sorata the task of taking care of her along with his ever-growing collection of stray cats!

Personal comment: It's a really fun watch and also deals with topics such as the difference between normal people and prodigies. The characters are really likeable!

Wonder egg priority | Drama, Horror, Fantasy, Psychological

This is the story of Ai, an introverted girl whose fate is forever changed when she acquires a mysterious “Wonder Egg” from a deserted arcade. That night, her dreams blend into reality, and as other girls obtain their own Wonder Eggs, Ai discovers new friends—and the magic within herself.

Personal comment: It is an ongoing anime but it has really managed to impress me with just 2 eps. It's visually stunning and touches on topics such as bullying and abuse and facing your trauma in a really unconventional way.
