You recently tagged a post containing a manatee as 'not marine animal'. I thought all animals who lived in the ocean were marine animals. How come manatees don't count? Who decides what is and isn't a marine animal?

(I really hope this isn't a stupid ask, I'm just genuinely confused.)

Manatees are not marine animals bc they do not live in the ocean. I hope this helps

Random idea, but I cant help but think that in between walking, fighting, and stuff, Danny would use whatever’s in his bag to catch up on studying. We could potentially take this a step further and say the Links would find a way to give him quizzes, specifically Sky, Twilight, and Warriors. Sky went to school and understands him wanting to make sure he wouldn’t fail or fall behind when he gets back to his world some, Twilight just wants to help if he can, and Warriors understands not wanting to fall behind as well. Of course, they’d probably have to learn each other’s alphabets first.

That being said, I think it’d be funny if they were trying to help him with something they themselves don’t understand, but it ends up okay instead of just them all being confused.

Also, imagine Twilight’s reaction to manatees. They’re so nice that people are starting to wonder if they actually have the brain function to be aggressive at all and will go up to divers for affection or to say hi, but because they’re endangered, it’s illegal to touch them. There are few things that can push the ranch hand to tears, but this might do it when nobody’s looking.

Twilight: Hold up, I could go to jail for petting an animal?! Even though they’ll probably come up to me for pets?!

Danny: I’m not sure if it’s straight to jail or not, but it’s best not to try... Are you okay?

Twilight: *voice breaks* Please don’t tell me there are more animals like that.
