Mob wife Jessica Whitly used society’s misandry to her benefit and set up her husbands arrest and downfall all the while playing the helpless screaming woman. Now she rules the city with an iron fist with her son as the face and her daughter as the muscle. While also sending poor innocent lieutenant Arroyo down the deep dark path of corruption. After all. The more he falls for her the less he’s gonna say when an entire police precinct in Hoboken is wiped out live on the evening news. It helps that she’s got her sons girlfriend, an NYPD medical examiner, on her payroll too. So it all worked out in the end for dear Mrs Whitly.

do you want to know what one of my favorite getting together tropes is?

person b has had feelings for person a for a long time. person b begins to see someone and person a, for some reason is drunk, and makes a move on person b. person b stops it, tells person a that they’re drunk and they don’t mean it. person a says they do mean, and they’ll mean it in the morning when they’re sober. person b says something along the lines of, ‘so then kiss me in the morning, tell me then’ and person a says okay. 

come the morning though, person a has forgotten everything, apologizes for anything they said because they surely didn’t mean it. person b is heartbroken but says okay. starts pulling away from person a, all while person a is remembering what happened and hating themselves.
