my whole colllection and my mirror are on this nifty little cart now for when I do my cosplay and my crossdressing makeup!

it has a perfect little mirror just at floor sitting level for my little butt to snoozy over and doll myself up!

I have collected sooooo much makeup over the years it is ridiculous sometimes! But it is always nice to have. You never know what you'll need or what you'll end up using in a cosplay!

I’ve finally reached the point in my ncis rewatch where I’ve hit the episode i was an extra in and it’s… weird watching it 10 years later. I can still remember it really well (I mean obv, I was obsessed at the time, and mark Harmon was the nicest tv celeb I ever met, and they served swordfish for inch that day which was incredible…) but it feels so dissociative? I still have the jacket I’m wearing, and I remember every other item of clothing I had on (along with several of the accessories on other background/my friends) but I look at me in this scene, and it doesn’t feel like it’s me anymore. I keep looking at my calves and being like ??? Look how skinny my legs were lmao whose legs are those (behold, baby Loptrcoptr (orange pants), a year prior to learning the heiti “Loptr” in the first place)

Anyway, I would like to send out a ten year late apology to Cote de Pablo for staring at her in the lunch line, I’m not subtle lmao and I also snuck a peak at the squad room and autopsy. To anyone who is still around from The Old Days, I miss all our NCIS chats and threads, thems were good times.

my sister works at a costume shop.

they've just given her a raise bc they want her to be the main person setting up a website for them so that they can handle costume purchases and rentals online for the first time. this is, in theory, very neat.

except.

they're insistent on using the same setup that they use for the diner. it's a restaurant setup. things are sorted by 'ingredients.' in order to add costumes to the website, my sister has to 'add menu items.'

there is no way to modify this.

#they want the ingredients to be colors #Ben Nye sorted by however many dozens of colors #but what does this mean for the actual costumes? #how do you deal with sizes when things are sorted only by color #how do you deal with the fact that a lot of the things are for rental and not for direct purchase #how do you deal with only having broad categories like makeup and costumes #the hundreds of different costumes they have are all going to be shoved into the costumes category? #what a fucking nightmare #OH AND #the website is also how they want employees to check people out in store #because it is a restaurant setup. there is no way to add barcodes or SKU numbers #i'm REELING
