Any chance you'll do a snippet of Donor Tarn finally plowing the nurse?
Your frame's exhausted and your energy has flagged from the triple shift where you needed to melt and reforge new components because Tesarus chose to pick a fight with the only animal this side of the galaxy that's capable of melting military-grade armor outside of ununtrium.
Besides an extended medical stasis, internal scarring, and mandatory physical therapy because you made plans for a blow dart with a powerful sedative to numb the connective nerve relays in a Titan's limb should the mech try to avoid it, the idiot will live another day.
But not even the heedy call of carriage-induced lust could drive away the strut-weary fatigue.
Perhaps it's your facial expression and tone as you look over your shoulder. Perhaps Tarn has had enough of your rocking as you squeeze your mesh and cycle the calipers for the fourth time for some rest, but he gives only a token protest to trying a different position.
Never in your life did you think you had to do this, but here you are, coaxing a mech into an optimal rutting position. A mech who had no qualms over a collar meant for destructive pets (no matter what the sex shop said, you can tell from the quality material and the bell), but fusses over active participation in interfacing.
While he still has that wall-staring habit, he's able to touch you a bit. Large servos with thankfully blunted fingertips wrap around your waist as he carefully moves behind you, berth creaking from weight distribution and bell chiming, that spike is a hefty weight upon your inner thigh.
You're used to a mecha smacking your aft or tugging on a wing with a stupid comment or playful tease since “mounting from behind” is generally the best way to settle heats.
Tarn's quiet. His frame, however, speaks volumes. He's dumping heat into the air as the newly freed back vents hissed and steamed as he came up-right. His field is a heavy blanket and tangled into yours, hunger and want undeniable and it weighs over you, adding to your own. His spike throbs, hot and heavy and still slick, and your valve echoes in sympathy, magnetically drawn to its close perimeter.
You're murmuring words of encouragement as he nudges your valve with his spike. The blunt tip catches but slides across the rim to kiss your anterior node with its ridges. You need to reach between your knees and guide him. It pulses as you use your fingertips to hold him in place to your swollen folds, coaxing Tarn to rock forward to pass the first ring of your valve.
“Good, very good,” you groan as he finally gives enough force and pressure to breach it. You do a firm tug on the leash when he tries to stop, unsure even with his spike crackles with charge inside you, melting your more than willing mesh and nodes primed and pinging calipers to cycle wider.
You're drenched. His spike is just as worked up and blazing to go. Caminus is in such a deep sleep that only city-speakers can interact with him. Deadzone is still dead. And this is currently your life, guiding a severely repressed mech who's a bureaucratic executioner that's deeply confused over natural processes related to sex.
It takes a bit, but you finally have him fully hilted, valve quivering and eager at this new phenomena. You give the leash slack to allow Tarn leeway, and he thankfully picks up the cue.
It isn't a true thrust, more like a strong rock, but he puts his weight into it, and that punches the carrier-coding into an excited tizzy.
A sharp, electrifying shock sizzles up your spinal struts to the tips of your sensory panels that you almost miss Tarn's question to move you.
“That's fine.” If your voice strains, Tarn doesn't comment on it. Actually, he rarely speaks at these sessions, especially what happened when he accidentally triggered his sigma ability.
Tarn shifts your hips, and the new angle surprises the hell out of you. You thought he reached everything at this point.
Apparently not.
Your valve pulses helplessly as the new alignment causes the grooves and treads to constantly slide directly over clusters of nodes, never leaving them instead of inconsistent grazing as well as press the crown directly to the inlet and its surrounding nodes.
That involuntary surprised noise you make causes a spike of worry from the mech, and you feel the intention to withdraw.
NO, went your sparked-heavy frame. You yank the leash, pulling hard enough to jolt Tarn and his hips forward, and charge surges embarrassingly fast along with a high-pitched needy keen from your throat as he catches himself, almost crushing you. The mech covers you completely, and the bell jingles right over your head.
Your frame likes it. Your valve likes it. You like it.
So you do the reasonable thing and pull the leash taunt, wrapping it around your wrist and hand, so Tarn can't get off without ripping a body part.
You cut off hearing because you really didn't want a log of the noises coming out of your mouth. You already have to deal with the intimate knowledge of how much that spike not only excites the carrier-coding, but the deep-frame instincts and your overworked valve as a new wave of lubricant coats said spike and your thighs.
It's bad enough to feel strung out by a stuttering, unsure pace, but you needily meet Tarn's hips because coding demands it.
That leash, the vague thought burbles somewhere that's still rational and not spike-hungry, is the greatest last-minute joke purchase you've done.
And the thought flitters away when Tarn finally hits a good and steady rhythm as he's guided by your yanking. Soon, with every harsh pull, your chamber gets heavier and heavier, which delights the carrier-coding as a new wave of charged transfluid registers to it.
Moremoremore, it chants, and your sensory panels flare out with the wide expanse tilted and trying to tempt another Seekerkin by exposing seams. Bite me, your frame screams as another overload crashes over you. Valve clenching hard enough to keep an imprint, shrieking in overwrought pleasure as another burst of transfluid hits the back of it, and your frame jolts forward, only held in place by his grip and frame. Make a claim!
Luckily, Tarn remains blissfully ignorant of Seekerkin behavior and wingcant cues, and will remain so because you won't tell him.
And because Tarn is awkward and polite and very much a professional outside the walls, you send a quick prayer to Solus that he'll never bring up whatever is currently coming out of your mouth, even as you squirm and yowl like a turbofox in heat.
Suddenly, it's over.
You're both full and empty. Trying to come down from the carriage-induced high and turn your hearing back on.
Your entire self is gasping, vents wheezing as the tertiary systems struggle to cool your frame since Tarn is just as molten against your back.
Your belly is full, and your valve is empty, and it hates that fact. It drools and twitches, even left gaping, calipers blunted to their widest setting, it still wants. You're pretty sure if your chamber isn't currently stuffed to the brim, the pesky coding would have triggered a frame-lock to keep that spike inside you before it tucked away.
You have no idea how you managed to get your legs to take your weight, but you're fairly sure you did a full body rub as you choke out a thanks. Tarn looks just as flustered as well. Even his treads sag, separating out to rapidly cool down, biolights burning a searing bright pink.
Because his pelvis and thighs and berth are a mess. It's absolutely safe to bet that you look just as well used and destroyed.
You wobble out and into the hall towards the direction of your habsuite and the medbay because you're not picky on the location to crash and recover.

Nerd!Steve but lets make it fun. Steve comes from a family of brilliant people. His dad’s a super genius who married another genius and they’re both off winning awards for cultivating life on Mars or whatever, meanwhile there’s Steve the “dumb” one. The disappointing son with his weird interests in the paranormal whose inventions never seem to quite work and his job as an IT tech. “Have you tried turning the system off and on?” Steve and his friends (Enter Dustin and the scoops troop) have been convinced for years that the Russians are developing some kind of supernatural super weapon, and it turns out he’s actually right.
The Russians have been working on opening gates to a parallel dimension and as a result freaky shit keeps leaking through and causing death and mayhem that the government has to sweep under the rug. Most of that cleanup falls to the CIA’s Stargate division. Billy is a top field agent with a reputation for getting the job done no matter what the stakes. Unfortunately for his operations team, keeping up with his maverick tendencies is almost as much of a headache as the operations themselves. His life tangles with Steve’s when a machine of his actually works and he and his friends end up in the cross hairs of Russian agents who happen to be targets in Billy’s latest mission. Shit goes sideways and Billy ends up needing their help to complete his mission.
Billy’s team is used to his antics. Heather has betting pools going about how quickly the next “Bond Girl” will show up and whether or not Billy will fall into her web before she trys and kills him when it’s inevitably revealed that she’s been working for the enemy the whole time. Seriously the guy wouldn’t know a healthy relationship if it walked up and volunteered to pay for his therapy. No one was counting on the nerds or how Billy would respond to one of them in particular. It’s insane, but also hilarious AF watching Billy struggle to keep the bumbling civilians alive, and don’t think she hasn’t clocked how he can’t leave the pretty one with the glasses alone. It’s like watching two little boys in a sand pit. He’s always in Steve’s face and pulling on his pigtails, you’d never know this was the man of mystery who has left a trail of broken hearts on seven continents. If he can just pull his head out of his ass maybe she’s not going to have to start setting him up on blind dates after all.
Steve thinks Billy is the WORST. He’s pushy and arrogant and won’t stop touching Steve’s tools even though he’s made it clear he has a specific system for them!!! He gets that Billy is trying to annoy him to death as payback for ruining his operation, but none of that was Steve’s fault and Billy should really be a lot more grateful that Steve and the others are here to help; because they never would have known what the Russians were up to or had a chance at stopping it without them. So what if Steve can’t win a fight, he’s about to save the fucking world so give him some credit! Billy could at the very least stop teasing him with that ‘Pretty Boy’ crap. Steve went to high school okay, he knows he doesn’t compare to guys like Billy.
Billy is pretty sure Steve is the best and worst thing that has ever happened to him. He’s not sure how he’s still alive when he attracts disaster like a magnet, or how someone so brilliant can be so dense. The fact that Steve thinks he’s dumb though like genuinely baffles him and he kinda wants to punch everyone who ever made him feel like he was less than just because he didn’t meet their expectations. Kinda wants to punch something every time he looks at Steve honestly. Billy’s used to beautiful people throwing themselves at him constantly, so can someone explain why his favorite thing all of a sudden are the little folds in Steve when he’s concentrating, and the way his eyes light up all ‘Aha!’ right when he thinks of a good comeback to one of Billy’s jibes? He is not this guy! He doesn’t do attachments for damn good reason. So Why does he want to listen to Steve and Dustin fighting over what the CIA is hiding in Area 51 and why does he get such a kick out of how they collectively lose their minds when he hints that he’s been there.
Billy’s not attached, but if Steve wanted to sleep with him he’d be down. They’re hot and tommorrow might never come and all that. But hey, if it does he’s hinted a few times that the teams Digital Targeter Daniel has been talking about retirement. It’ll be hard finding a replacement you know, cause Billy is picky and he doesn’t just want someone who knows tech but someone who isn’t afraid to be in the field with him.
Steve’s like, “oh man, I can see what you mean. Good luck, I really hope you find someone”.

Chemists develop new method to create chiral structures
Some molecules exist in two forms, such that their structures and their mirror images are not superimposable, like our left and right hands. Called chirality, it is a property these molecules have due to their asymmetry. Chiral molecules tend to be optically active because of how they interact with light. Oftentimes, only one form of a chiral molecule exists in nature, for example, DNA. Interestingly, if a chiral molecule works well as a drug, its mirror image could be ineffective for therapy. In trying to produce artificial chirality in the lab, a team led by chemists at the University of California, Riverside, has found that the distribution of a magnetic field is itself chiral. The research paper titled, "A magnetic assembly approach to chiral superstructures," appears in the journal Science. "We discovered that the magnetic field lines produced by any magnet, including a bar magnet, have chirality," said Yadong Yin, a professor of chemistry, who led the team. "Further, we were also able to use the chiral distribution of the magnetic field to coax nanoparticles into forming chiral structures."

Hi! Hello, wondering if you have any thoughts on pseudosciences such as crystal healing and magnetic field therapy and ppl who can 'heal' and such? Do you think it harmful or do you think it can be real? Scientific researches show that there's no conclusive proof to them working at all, but I keep meeting ppl who believe they do work. I do think collecting crystals, reading tarot cards and astrology stuff can be fun but I don't believe 'in' it, so yeah.. just wanted to know your opinion. I'm also interested in hearing other ppl's thughts on this topic as well.
I think if you're just a girlie having fun and doing these things, then have at it.
I think if you're someone who is deceiving people and making offensive claims such as being able to cure cancer as well as convincing people to turn away from real medicine and instead buy your services or crystals, then you're an asshole and I'd like to kick you in the face.

Every last bit of victim consciousness has been purging from within me. Moving the emotions and pain out of the physical and energetic body. Realizing a lot of it isn’t my own, my energetic field has been expanded for so long, that I had been feeling and transmuting, alchemizing the pain of those around me.
I made a vow years ago, to fully embody the Goddess, and as much as she is the epitome of creation… she is also the destruction of reality.
The Divine feminine path is not just about your sensuality, sexuality and not at all about how well you can magnetize and seduce a man. This path is about shedding light on all the horrors that have been perpetuated against humanity under the paradigm of patriarchy.
And as long as western therapy will have you believe that you don’t have to forgive to heal, you will continue to keep the horrors alive.
You have to forgive it all. And that takes time. But when you make the conscious decision to quantum leap into a whole new timeline, to rise to a higher vibrational frequency, you will shed every last bit of density within the vehicle of your body. You heal on a cellular level, clearing the imprints from your DNA.
Sometimes it’ll feel like you are dying, but after each wave of healing, you make space in your body to hold more Light each time.
And one day you wake up and realize you were always in alignment, you were always on the right path, it couldn’t have been wrong, because it all led you deeper into the embodiment of your whole divine self — and that was the purpose of it all.

Fire Emblem Engage Cross-Swap AU
Omigosh, it's happening.
So, Cross-Swap. Also known as "we swapped Firene and Elusia, and Brodia and Solm, among other things".
Let's start with the introductions: the Royals! Here they are all together:
Tumblr media
(order: same as intro song, so Firene - Brodia - Solm - Elusia)
And now, for more individual details under the cut:
Ivy: "Calming Rose"
A reserved, soft-spoken princess of Firene than can often be found in the gardens, a cup of tea in one hand and a novel in the other. Losing her mother the day that her sister was born left her battling anxiety and the fear of abandonment for a large portion of her childhood. However, through trips to visit the sleeping Divine Dragon in Lythos, she could find solace in a friend that would listen to her fears, never judge her, and remain ever by her side. While still plagued by ghosts of the past, time and therapy have allowed her to tame some of her fears, and she endeavors to grow into the image of the unshakeable, ever-benevolent ruler that her people see in her.
Tumblr media
As for her retainers, I imagine Zelkov could have been an assassin before going into medicine (friendly reminder that we have Jean in base game from Firene), and Kagetsu... honestly it's still in development, but he could come from the islands where the Divine Paralogues happen.
Hortensia: "Budding Charm"
The second princess of Firene, and while cheerful and sociable at times, she can also appear oddly demure and analytical depending on the situation. While she never had the chance to know her mother personally, many people take every chance to remind her just how much she resembles her. Even with her father stepping up to fight constant battles of comparisons throughout her life, she still finds herself torn between her enjoyment of cute and artsy things and her desire to be recognized as her own person, and struggles with self-acceptance and finding who she is or should be. Dislikes conflicts and arguments, and always doing her best to encourage others to pursue their passions and cheer them up like she tried to do for her sister for so many years.
Tumblr media
Goldmary is going to have a FIELD DAY in Firene (she loves chores, for context). Probably Rosado as well (all those beautiful flowers to paint...) Now as for how they met... to be determined.
Timerra: "Humbling Force"
The crown princess of the Queendom of Bordia and an advocate for diplomacy and change in a stubborn, unchanging country. Used to skip training when she was young to roam the streets and look for people to help, only to be faced with closed doors and a home that consistently found her to be too weak for their liking. Though naturally very strong, she cannot escape the impression left by her "irresponsibility", and remains in the constant loop of trying to prove herself and still never being enough for the court. Hardened and unerringly dutiful on the surface, but she still adores singing, shopping, and exploring the mountainscape on horseback, sometimes sneaking out on fishing and camping trips with her brother and proceeding to scare away the fish with their constant laughter.
Tumblr media
Merrin could be a noble who got her way into knighthood by escaping her duties and meeting Timerra one day. Panette definitely won the tournament to become her retainer. She did so by busting her way out of the streets despite her... parents... for her and her brother's sake.
Fogado: "Magnetic Militant"
The silver tongued, strategic minded prince of Brodia that believes in his sister's ideals more than anyone. Through constant, covert endeavors to train his body, sharpen his tongue, and support his sister, the court was often pleased by his prowess and began to favor him over his sister and flooded the two with constant comparisons. And now, caught between trying to shake off their disappointment in her and keep his hold on the court, he feels lost and can't find where to turn, though getting him to drop his act and admit it is a game all on its own. Still, their bond remains unbreakable, if not growing stronger, with both knowing just how hard the other works and laughing off as much of their troubles as they can manage.
Tumblr media
Bunet became a retainer in the same tournament as Panette (yes, he lost against her), as the Sibbies are extremely close age-wise. Perhaps as a way to help his family after his village was raided by bandits? Would make a nice parallel to Saphir. Pandreo was found and got out of his terrible situation via Panette and the Sibbies. He's grateful for all of them, while his horrendous strength is not helping him in the court.
Alfred: "Snowy Hope"
Elusia's bubbly and ever-optimistic crown prince, and the kingdom's beloved "beacon of light". Chronic illness forced him to spend most of his childhood indoors and away from the harsh weather of the land, leaving him with a weak constitution, but ample time to study and perfect his magic. With his sister's research, a magical "medicine" could be used to improve his quality of life, but never quite curing his illness. Because of this, his family still proposes the Fell Dragon's "miracle" to permanently extend his life, and pushing against this, he chooses to secretly worship the Divine and make the most of the life he has. Dedicated to his country and pure of heart to a fault, one may consistently find him soaring the skies on his pegasus, visiting his people, captivating children with his magic tricks, and rescuing any and all who need help despite the toll it takes on him.
He'd be a Pegasus Mage Knight of sorts, being able to use Lances, Tomes, and Staves upon promotion. Glass Cannon type, keep him far away from archers.
Tumblr media
Etie could be a member of the Elusian court! Appointed to Alfred instead of Céline like in base game, but now she can throw hands. And break archers for her liege's sake while at it. Boucheron... perhaps there could be something like the Village of the Fair Folk, but for hunky people? Either way, snow and forests are not helping if his sense of direction is still horrendous.
Céline: "Icy Guardian"
Described by others as calculating and almost cruel, but rather sentimental and compassionate underneath her icey façade. Though only the half-sister to the crown prince, she lives with the expectation of taking the throne for herself one day and does everything in her power to see that it will never happen. Balancing political ambition, magical research, and physical training with her wyvern has left her with many sleepless nights and contending with far more nightmares. Though she fears the potential outcomes of war, and perhaps developed a slight vendetta against archers, she believes that the Fell Dragon can help her land and family where the Divine could not. Enjoys art and painting, capturing the fleeting moments of the world's beauty and the memories of her brother and friends before they might dull and fade.
I imagine she could work well in a similar class from Zelestia, as in a wyvern rider with access to Swords and Tomes.
Tumblr media
Don't have much on Chloé and Louis, while they could have met at the Academy like Hortensia with Rosado and Goldmary in base game. Mintavia and I joked that Chloé is responsible for 99% of the trinkets in Alfred's hidden Divine shrine. She just picked stuff she found interesting during her flights with the siblings, and he gladly took them.
Diamant: "Sand's Scion"
Solm's steadfast and amicable crown prince and regarded by his people as practically perfect. Incredibly versed in negotiating and diplomacy, which may or may not stem from growing up too quickly and being forced to calm a few heated arguments between his father and the neighboring king of Firene. Though he adores traveling and the stories and banter with his friends that come with it, his father's impulsive travels to fix their bandit issues have left him as the main person to take care of politics and the "King of Solm'' in every way except in title. Still, when he is able to leave, folks say that his laughter can be heard from all across the desert, described by some as the "Racket of Solm".
Tumblr media
He met Jade in one of his rare travels, then Amber in another. Jade is still mostly a writer, but also a keeper of precious things (she has been tasked with safekeeping the Emblem Ring once or twice). Amber loves camels now. He's still as interested in legends, and as clumsy and able to get into trouble as ever, though.
Alcryst: "Desert Shade"
A perceptive, unbelievably friendly young man that, while highly regarded, often has to hide his identity as the second prince of Solm. A comforting presence in the harsh desert, he's always willing to lend an ear to other's issues, but attempting to do the same for him and his own feelings will leave one entirely empty-handed. However, any bandit that has had the misfortune of crossing his path can attest to how quickly that friendly face can drop when danger threatens those around him, especially his family. Constantly roaming the desert with his retainers to both lend a hand to those in need and gathering valuable intel about the entire continent, keeping his homeland safe and preventing threats from setting foot inside their borders. And with his reports come many, many stories and a solid excuse to return home every once in a while and visit with his brother.
Bow Wolf Knight? Bow Wolf Knight. With Daggers, of course.
Tumblr media
Citrinne is still his cousin, and nothing in the world could separate them. She doubles as his confidant, and is the most attuned to how he really is under the surface. Lapis was met after a bandit raid on a village near her home, as she helped with the reconstruction efforts with her strength and ability to make stuff out of scraps. Perhaps one day she will discover more about her liege.
Naturally, more could come as Mint, Luna and I decide on the classes of the Royals that still need to be determined, get more details on the retainers that still need exploring, and as we explore another important swap in the AU. Stay tuned!

Your aura is an energy field that surrounds and interpenetrates the body. It acts as a magnetic field of energy that picks up on emotions, health, psychic debris and circumstances around you.
Our auras can get polluted by a range of things including: negative thoughts, other people’s feelings and intentions as well as environmental pollutants such as drugs, alcohol and toxic food and water.
It is important to pay attention and focus on the signs of a weakened aura as well as developing tools to cleanse and build energy, strengthen the energetic and spiritual body.
We can achieve this by working with tools such as mediation, sound therapy and mindfulness, having salt baths, changing our diet, prioritising exercise in fresh air, having adequate vitamin D and minimising toxins.

Recent posts about masculinity got me thinking. I am not surprised that people see Till as the epitome of masculinity ofc if you go by looks. But from what I've seen I find Paul to be a lot of the things that I personally find very manly. He's confident without being an ass about it. He can be stern (like with people trying to enter the boat) without being rude. He can have a committed relationship with an equal and takes responsibility (we don't know ofc but I think not having children with everybody is a part of that for me). He works in a field he loves and is serious about but without sacrificing everything for it. And he can still be funny and silly and goofy and is certainly no killjoy but I bet if needed he can switch to serious in an instant. He enjoys what he's reached in life without boasting. He can show affection (like hugging his daughter) without that embarrased air around him. I can see a growth over the years without loosing himself. A man can be built like a tank but if he lacks qualities like these the manliness level for me drops considerably. I think about this when people talk about Till as the greatest and overall best because I honestly don't see it. And I was quite impressed back in the late nineties by his sensibility and the way he talked and so on but over the years he lost a lot of what appealed to me. For me (all of this is ofc my very personal impression on the available data) it feels like Paul can seem very much like an overgrown child but has really grown into a man and Till seems very much like the man around but is still a teenager on the inside. Which maybe explains the also many people who consider him a poor little meow meow whose bad life choices are never his fault.
i pondered if i wanted to share this ask, because of the negative undertone the word 'masculinity' has these days, but then i figured that's mainly because of 'toxic masculinity' and let's face it, anything combined with 'toxic' would make it negative, same goes for 'toxic cuteness', 'toxic softness' and 'toxic freches früchtchen' (to go with Paul's phrase 😊)
And i agree that Paul seems to be a very manly man: confident (even at 18) but with an easiness to it, firm without being rude (both with fans wanting to enter a boat, but also with Till wanting to bash his head against Paul's mic), in control without being micromanaging. I think there isn't much in Rammstein going on without Paul knowing it (and having an opinion on it 😊) (btw: that's why it imo was so funny that Richard managed to sneak up to him on stage and surprise him 😊
And indeed Paul can be very playful, both in a 'goofy with the guys' and a 'cute and playful' way, sometimes even childlike, but never childish 🌺. And also very affectionate, as he shows regularly with several bandmates ❤️
The phrase "growth over the years without loosing himself" i like a lot, and i agree with it. He's definitely older (can you believe he'll turn 60 end of next year?) and more mature than he was when Rammstein started (or Feeling B), but he's always very much Paul ❤️
Till i see as a masculine man too (maybe they are the among most masculine in the band, with Olli), but maybe in different ways. No i'm not talking about physique (although i can imagine that is why people who don't really know him, also see him as masculine), but Till has imo always had a 'cool' and a 'don't give a damn about what others think' vibe that imo makes him very appealing to be with. I think it's one of the reasons why he always attracts attention in a group of people, a certain magnetic quality (even though he may not always like it), and yes, imo very masculine.
Aside from that Till is one for 'going back to nature', living off the land, roughing it; all very masculine traits imo. (And ofcourse there are his views on people who go in therapy, which in itself are also pretty masculine, but in a different way).
I think more than with Paul, Till has different persona in different situations: on stage, being both a showman and a prankster, jetsetting, and tucked away in small village life. The playful part on stage is imo often being a bit of a prankster (lately i'm often reminded of Nelson of The Simpsons when i see him on stage), and he has retained a bit of juvenile humor (watch him laughing when Flake got that 'dick hat' on on stage).
Where Paul is 'in control', and according to stories, Till likes to be in control too (at least on stage, we know what happens when some of the crew make a mistake) but he handles it differently. I also think that Till is easily persuaded to do something if he's indulged in what he likes (rather, it has been stated almost literally in at least one making of) That's why personally i'm not a big fan of the entourage he formed around him the last couple of years, because imo they indulge him too much and don't tell him 'no'. Ofcourse he's old and intelligent (Till is from a very intellectual background, he should be able to look at himself and evaluate) enough to say 'no' himself, but he often doesn't imo... But like i said, he's smart enough to be able to figure that out 🌺 maybe just every now and then, he needs someone to give him a kick up the youknowwhat 😊
Does that make him less masculine though? 🤔 Not in my book...but what do i know 😊

Moon Missions
What’s going on with the moon?
The United States recently had a solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024, and some might be surprised to learn that the moon is, in fact, affected by solar radiation. The charged particles emitted by the sun, called the solar wind, reach the moon with no interruption from its atmosphere, as it has none. It also has no global magnetic field, another layer of protection that Earth does have, in comparison.
The moon does, however, have small areas of magnetic fields. We can see this because these areas remain lighter in photos whereas chemical reactions from radiation darken the unprotected areas.

Fortunately, most of these charged particles cannot pass through the hulls of space stations, so astronauts are safe in orbit. Cosmic rays, made of stronger and faster-moving particles, are more dangerous. Even on Earth, under the atmosphere and magnetosphere, cosmic radiation reaches humans, though not enough to be considered damaging to our health.
A lander and rover launched in 2018 delivered the first measurements of radiation levels on the moon 4. Based on those data, astronauts on the moon can be exposed to up to 150 times higher radiation levels than on Earth.
Radiation is a leading reason for the pause in lunar landing missions. It raises risks of cataracts, heart diseases, radiation illness, cancer, and other ailments. Longer missions, of course, would heavily exacerbate these radiation doses.
Other Health Concerns
Cosmic rays contain High-Energy (HZE) ions. In different exposure such as from nuclear accidents or irradiation therapy, HZE ions have been found to cause dysregulation in the mitochondria and damage to DNA. Because of this, prolonged exposure is linked to health effects often associated with aging, such as hippocampus synapse loss and metabolic disruption caused by damage to mitochondrial DNA.
Long-duration space flights have also been linked to cardiovascular disorders. For astronauts on the Apollo missions, heart attack was “the second leading cause of death” 8. For additional space flights outside of Earth’s magnetosphere, astronauts also had a higher mortality rate due to cardiovascular diseases.
In a previous article, we discussed the relationship between circadian rhythms and health. These rhythms are another thing that space travel can impact, causing sleep and mental health disturbances in astronauts 9.
While various studies are investigating the conditions of these health risks, a current NASA mission is specifically investigating radiation protection.
Long-term Mission
NASA plans on eventually returning to human-manned missions to the moon.
First, they have to address the issues discussed above.
In November of 2022, Artemis I launched with two manikins bearing radiation detectors. From this mission, NASA was able to confirm the success of the intended trajectory, launch of ground systems, and the Orion spacecraft. The radiation results from this mission are still being analyzed.
The Artemis missions are intended to explore more of the moon than ever before, and lay groundwork for eventual missions to Mars.
Artemis II will not launch any earlier than September of 2025. It is planned to last ten days, consist of a 4-person crew, and be a lunar flyby to ensure the proper functioning of the spacecraft’s systems.
It has seemed for years that lunar exploration has halted. Manned missions have indeed been paused, for good reasons. Ensuring the safety of astronauts is a priority, and they face serious health risks even when missions go as expected. But NASA intends to continue exploring space, the moon, and Mars. The current Artemis missions are discovering improved, new ways to ensure the safety of astronauts while making scientific progress.
