(You’re Reefer Ricks daughter and your dad got sent back to jail. You didn’t think he’d be getting out so you made your way to his house to pick up your things but as you open the door instead of being met with an angry stoner your met with a certain brown eyed metal head hiding from the cops) This is my first time writing so I’m sorry if it’s bad or cringy but I hope you like it. If you do don’t be afraid to send requests there is a post on my page with all the characters I would do and I will always try to do new characters but they might not be good if I haven’t seen the show or movie or book <3

Your father had been sent back to jail for guess what… drugs. You knew he probably wasn’t coming back this time so you decided to go and clean out your things that you would leave when things got bad with your mom, and decided ‘hey, let’s go to your stoned dads house he won’t hit you he won’t notice your there’ . You were still living with your mom and she still hit you and ever since your dad had gone back to jail you had no escape. As you skated into his driveway you saw your dad’s neighbors fishing on the dock, they saw you and waved so you smiled and waved back. As you picked up your skateboard and went to get the key from under the mat you realized it wasn’t there. You started to worry that someone broke in because they didn’t get their drugs before your dad got sent away.

As you pushed those thoughts aside and decided to not be a pussy like your mom would often tell you and you turned the doorknob and walked in.

To your surprise you saw a scared shitless Eddie Munson starting at you with an almost closed cabinet. “Ohhhhhh my god” he sighed as he looked at you with clear relief on his face “it’s just you, okay good. Hey y/n” he smiled awkwardly. “What are you doing at my dads house” you questioned “if you didn’t get your drugs before he got sent away their not in the kitchen cabinet” you explained to him “what.. oh no I’m..this is kind of my safe house” he said softly “your safe house, you choose a druggies house as a safe house” you questioned “sounds safe to me” you said your voice laced with sarcasm. He laughed a little and nodded his head.

“Well what are you doing” he questioned getting suspicious because a newly formed bruise was already forming on your face. “Oh just getting my stuff that I left here since he’s probably not getting out” you said like it was obvious. As he followed you through the house and you both finally stopped when you got to your stuff he touched your face softly “what happened it looks horrible” he said very concerned as he touched your already forming bruise “ohhh… umm my mom” you said just barely a whisper “why would your mom do that to you” he asked now raging but seemly calmed when he talked to you “it’s the alcohol” you stated like it was a known fact. He didn’t say anything just kept touching your bruise and looking at you like you might crumble at any moment. “You know it’s not my first time with a bruise. I know what it’s like, I’m not gonna cry” you started but was interrupted by Eddie “she’s done that to you before” his big brown eyes softened at you and you nodded. Eddie was always nice to you in school, most people weren’t because they knew who your dad was, and because of your dad you were a freak with the drug addicted dad and abusive alcoholic mom. But when things got bad with your mom and you went to your dad’s Eddie was almost always there. And he was always nice, he would say hi and ask how you were and it made you feel special and may have possibly made a crush on him appear. But you never admitted to anyone. "Shit. I'm sorry princess" ‘princess’ that was his nickname for you and every time he called you that it made your face heat up. “Don’t be” you said as you fiddled with your fingers because of how caring Eddie wad being. He lifted up your chin with his finger so now you were looking into those big beautiful brown eyes. “I want to be” he whispered and started to lean into you, then he kissed you. At first it was a surprise but it didn’t take long for you to kiss back. It was getting heated but you both pulled away to catch your breath. You made eye contact with Eddie and smiled at him. “Man princess I never imagined our first kiss to be that good” he said and you looked at him “you’ve thought about our first kiss Munson” you raised an eyebrow at him and smirked. “Since I laid eyes on you princess” he said and kissed you again. With much more passion and hunger.

Project Rue: A ROTTMNT Fanfic.

It had been 10 years since the defeat of the kraang. Everyone had kept moving forward with their lives and worked hard to keep the world safe. The brothers had changed the most out of everyone. Michael Angelo became a professional anonymous painter, Raphael became a teacher of yōkai Martial Arts, Donatello remained a scientist but became interested in the natural and unnatural world. He continues learning through his travels and technological advancements. And Leonardo became a role model for many in the hidden city. He taught the resistance fighters and longed for a peaceful life between yōkai and human beings.

The brothers had their fair share of romances through the years but one of them stayed. After the kraang invasion, Donnie felt like he could concur the world. Looking at his best friend, he found that the feelings he buried so deep before were being unearthed. Every time she would laugh, say a sarcastic comment, or even when she fell to the ground, he fell in love with her. When she said something scientific, he would get especially warm. He had noticed a few little changes whenever she would talk to him. When he would listen to her ramble on, she would notice and pause with a smile. When he would help her onto his shell during a battle, she would hold on to him tighter. She started to share more about her family and reminisce about when they first met as kids.

At one point, she asked him, “How do you feel about relationships?” Donnie was a bit startled at first but then he shared. “I haven't really been in one before so I’m not sure what to expect. I have thought about it though. I feel a certain way about someone, but I have done the theories and research and I have no idea if they return my feelings...” Donnie looked up to find April at a short distance away from him. She sat on the floor in front of him and looked up. “Donnie, I don’t know if this is true...but is this person in front of you?” His eyes widened and his cheeks got warm. He stuttered, “...I... yeah...” Her eyes softened and she placed her hand on his. “I’m sorry that I took so long to figure it out D. The truth is...I’ve liked you for a long time. Every time you would geek out about your inventions or find some new scientific discovery, I just adored you. Honestly, you hide your feelings crazy well.” “Heh...I know...,” said Donnie. “It’s a personality flaw.” She then cupped his face in her hands and said, “You’re the most interesting person I have ever met. When we met as kids, I knew that someday we would become best friends...but I have found that I feel more than that. I love you, Donnie.” He fell into her arms and held her close. He felt her warm hands on his shell, and he felt a tear stream from his eye. “I love you too, April.”

From that day forward, their relationship grew into a beautiful romance. They respected each other and protected each other through every situation. He kept her safe, and she stood by him every step of the way. She knew his weaknesses and strengthened them with every time she kissed his cheek. He sometimes struggled to show his true feelings, but she always knew how to listen when he shared. April laughed at the small things and brought out a playful side in Donnie that didn’t come out often. He laughed with her more and more. After about a year, Donatello promised his life to April. The brothers were so proud of their once introverted brother turned into a gentle, kindhearted, loving husband to their beloved childhood friend.

They started to travel the world together, discovering new life and learning more about the world they call home, both mutated and not.

~Two Years Later~

After a while, they decided to return home and stay with their family. They walked down to the underground sewer system they had called home, greeting the fellow yōkai along the way. When they reached their old hideout, the brothers came running with tears in their eyes. Splinter came along and gave his son and daughter-in-law a big hug. They spent time eating pizza and doing cannon balls like the good old days. Donnie came to his old lab and longingly looked around. April came up behind him and he jumped. “Jeez you scared me!” April laughed at him, “Sorry D, I just saw you looking kind of sad and wanted to see what's up.” “Oh, it's nothing really...I was just thinking about how we were back then. I just wish I could’ve grown up human. The least I could’ve done was find an antidote to the mutagen.” April put her hands around his waist. “If you would’ve grown up human, we wouldn't have met. With my weirdo personality, you would not have even noticed me.” That second, she said that he whipped around and grabbed her shoulders. “You are the most amazing person I have ever met. I LOVE YOU, APRIL!” Her eyes started filling with tears. “I want to have a baby with you Donnie.” His grip softened and he felt his heart drop. His whole body became limp. “Woah D! Jeez I'm sorry...that came out of nowhere.” “No no, I’m sorry...I just am surprised is all...I have been thinking about it...I just don’t know how it would be possible. If you want to, we can do some experiments. I want to figure out an antidote for the mutagen so our child can grow up with a normal life...I want them to be able to go to school and make friends...” April looked into his eyes with a loving smile. “I will help you with the antidote D. I would be happy with anything you would want to do for our future. If you are happy, I am happy.”

Donnie started working with the genomes and cells of other mutations. April helped by sharing her thoughts and theories. They had about 3 months of late nights and coffee before they found something promising. One of the cells from an oozquito degenerated and became like a normal mosquito. This was bigger than they could’ve ever imagined. They looked at each other in amazement and rejoiced. From that point, they started experimenting on animal eggs and small insect larva. The project skyrocketed from there and they decided to try it for real.

Altered DNA from Donnie and April was placed in a large capsule of warm, life sustaining liquid. Donnie was scared to transfer the egg to April because he was uncertain if it would affect her. She wanted to carry her child naturally, but she was also afraid of what could happen to her or their unborn baby. This was the safest option. All they had to do now...was wait.

~One month later~

Donnie was making some ramen for him and April in the kitchen. He stopped to think for a moment and then popped. “Hey! I remember making some crazy spices when I was younger. They are prototypes still, but I bet they would taste so good in this. Let me go get it from my lab.” April giggled at him. “That sounds great D. I’d love to try it out.” As Donnie was rummaging through his lab, his eyes caught something. He stopped to look at the capsule once more. There it was...a tiny organism about the size of a grain of rice. His tears came before he got to say her name. He ran to the kitchen. “Did you find th--” Aprils eyes caught onto her husband's tears and crooked smile. She knew exactly what he was about to say, and she leapt into his arms. Sobbing and laughing brought the rest of the family into the room. “Woah, I told you guys to be easy around the onions” Raph started. “What's going on Donn?” Mikey asked. Leo ran up with a box of cereal in his arms. “Sheesh D, I haven't seen you cry like this since we tried to throw you into the ball pit. What the heck is happening.” Donnie and April held each other's hands and led their family to the lab. They all gasped in astonishment at the sight before them. April and Donnie looked at each other with tears in their eyes and held one another close. This changes everything.

~After another few months~

April and Donnie watched their daughter grow and develop throughout the months, monitoring her vitals and making sure she had everything she needed. “Have you thought of a name for her yet?” Donnie asked. “Hmmm...a few have popped into my head now and then...Sage, August, Dawn, Rue...” Donnie found himself stopping at the last one. “I really like that one. I feel like it goes with her personality.” April looked at him with a confused expression. “What do you mean D?” He pulled up a couple of chairs and sat with her as they watched. She moved in slow ways, gradually reaching up and nestling back down. As they watched her, they saw her small face and her little expressions. It was decided at that moment. Her name will be Rue. They continued to watch and wait as their new love grew. They would read to her and talk to her throughout the day...even though Donnie knew she couldn’t hear them. The brothers would come in and give her gentle hugs and kisses. Mikey would paint her pictures and tape them all around the lab for her. Leo would come in and talk to her about his day and he would give her little fist bumps on the capsule glass. Raph would always sit with her and play soft music. Splinter would always come in and give her little pep talks for when she was older.

The monitor gave a small beep. Everyone jumped. They all huddled around her. “What?! What is it saying?” Mikey squeaked. “Is she ok???” Raph said. Donnie came to her and read the monitor. “Shes perfect. It looks like she is almost ready. It should be any day now that we can welcome her home.” They all breathed a sigh of relief. In a cold sweat, Leo sat on the floor. “Oh, thank God.” They all looked down at him. “What? It's not like I already envision myself being the coolest uncle and protecting her and teaching her everything she needs to know about being awesome.” Donnie and April looked at each other with concerned smiles. “Oh, jeez can you even imagine.” April said. Donnie looked back at her with his eyebrows raised. He spoke softly, “Don't.” They all snickered at him.

After a couple of days, they received a notification that she was fully developed and ready to be released from her chamber. They all cleared a space and placed warm blankets and towels around the capsule. Donnie washed his hands and put some gloves on. He then released the pressure and opened the containment. From there he wrapped her in a soft, warm towel and made sure she was breathing properly, and her vital signs were perfect. She cried for a little while but when April held her in her arms, she was instantly relaxed. They stood around her and cooed. They watched her nuzzle into the cozy blankets. Raph gently placed his hand on hers and she held it with her little hand. “Oh, she is so strong! She is going to be a great warrior one day.” Mikey came close to her and smiled. She looks just like you April. She is missing eyebrows like you though Donnie.” “HAH you’re right!” Leo said. Donatello was unamused.

April looked at Donnie with all her love. “Shes perfect.” Donnie smiled at her and kissed her forehead. “She is our perfect little girl.” They then sat in a circle on the floor and took turns holding her. Splinter had tears in his eyes when he held his first grandchild. “Her aura is strong. She has the willpower of a ninja for sure.” They then wrapped Raph in bubble wrap and gave her to him. He tried so hard not to shed any tears on her, but they just kept coming. He screamed in silence at how cute she was. When she was brought to Mikey, He rubbed her short curly hair from her forehead. “She is wonderful. I am going to do coloring books with her all the time!” When she was handed to Leo, He was a little afraid to handle her...but he held her close. He saw her small freckles on her nose and kissed them. “You are already full of wonder. I promise to always protect you.”
