“Russians Use Air Sledges to Attack Nazis’ Rear,” Kingston Whig-Standard. March 26, 1942. Page 10.
----
This radiophoto from Moscow shows a Red Army detachment in air sledges operating in the rear of the German forces. The air sledge is more or less of an innovation of the Russian Army that is proving highly practical in the current winter warfare. Notice how the men are deployed with a machine-gunner covering them.
