So This Crazy Thing Happened at the Terra Bella Mountain Lodge
.
The Bradfords were hoping for a nice, peaceful week off relaxing in the mountains to celebrate their anniversary.
The Peralta-Santiago family just wanted a vacation somewhere new, with a view.
It should have been a nice and simple week, filled with dips in the jaccuzi and rounds of ping-pong in the rec room.
But nothing is ever simple when our two favorite sleuthing couples from opposite ends of the country cross paths. Trouble ensues in the lodge, and everyone must work together, and quickly, before everything goes horribly wrong . . .

Summary:
“It’s only fair for us to be in pairs again this year. That way Amy and I can both participate and still take Mac out for his first time trick-or-treating.”
Mac perked up when his dad said his name. He was sitting on the floor, playing with his Transformers, while his parents talked on their iPad to his aunts and uncles about something. He was trying to be good and quiet while they were talking, but it had been forever and he was bored.
“Why bother? We always turn on each other in the end. Besides, it’s not our fault you’re breeders.”
Mac doesn't really know what's going on, but first there's candy, and then his parents disappear, and then he gets to hang out with Cheddar. Jake and Amy learn a lesson about parenting; Captain Raymond Holt is suspicious.
I convinced myself so much that Mac is going to grow up to tell her parents that she's a girl that I felt very weird listening everyone missgendering her.
It took Kevin Cozner a long time to see the squad as his husband's - and later his own - family.
Now more than ever, he is glad to have the strange little family.
Mac copying everything Jake does including the glasses push up hc
Mac is Jake’s mini me. A literal carbon copy of him. With their dark curly hair and big brown eyes and chin dimple it was always that way.
And then Mac turned 8, and he had to get glasses.
He hates them, he’s super insecure and the change is overwhelming. He looks different and can’t get used to his new feature.
Until, Jake packs up his contacts and walks in wearing his own glasses. Mac is surprised bc his dad normally doesn’t wear them.
“There buddy.” Jake says. “Now you look just like me again.”
After that, Mac didn’t mind wearing them. In fact, he started to like it.
It’s pretty hard not to smile when Amy sees the two of them simultaneously push their glasses up on the bridge of their nose, or mess around with them when they’re idle.
Jake made a mess out of the kitchen while trying to bake cookies, so now Mac is giggling and eating the little cookie dough that was saved as Jake hurries to clean everything before Amy comes home.
