Hi, sorry this is late but Ramadan Mubarak!
Does Ramadan Mubarak and Ramadan Kareem mean the same thing? Thank you
"mubarak" means blessed, which i'm guessing comes from the word "mabrook" which means "congratulations". "kareem" means generous. so when people say "ramadan mubarak" they're essentially saying "have a blessed ramadan" or giving a congrats, while "ramadan kareem" means "have a generous ramadan"
ty for asking! ramadan mubarak!

Mabrook on your marriage sister! 💕
Any tips/advice on how to ensure the person is the right choice? I have been having a few challenges in my pursuit to get married and would really appreciate some pointers.
🌹🕊️ الله يبارك فيك Allah yubaarek feek
Take your time getting to know a person. Everyone has a preference or expectation for a partner, but ensuring what your expectations are, is most important. Do not look for their worldly status but rather to marry for the sake of Allah, I think what deeply matters most is if this person can help you (and vice versa) for the Akhirah. And that can set the foundation for what you are looking for; kindness, humility, courage, patience…etc. You will know just by a feeling, if Allah wills, you have found the right person.
Remember, do not expect perfection. Marriage, as well as life, is a journey.
May Allah grant you a righteous spouse whom that can bring comfort to your eyes آمین

I did love that they included Takbir, with everyone following by saying “Allahu Akbar” though wish we’d gotten that in the actual Eid celebration, and gotten an actual Eid prayer. There are specific takbirat, called takbirat-al-eid, that are said specifically during Eid.
(Also Kamala referring to this Eid as the “lesser” one when in actuality it’s the longer one and the one that’s sort of a bigger deal made me go like 🤔🤔🤔)
I also love that they had Sheikh Abdullah read Quran and also had him say Mabrook at the wedding! (Mabrook meaning congratulations in Arabic)
And the Mosque scene!! Nakia calling them out, and Sheikh Abdullah requesting that they “remove their shows next time”. It was completely gross how they just walked on the sajadat (prayer mats) like that. We literally pray on those and our noses and heads and hands touch that.
Lastly: “good is not a thing you are Kamala, it’s a thing you do!” PERFECT LINE!

Jordan Royal Wedding Planners, Pink Moon Events, on Princess Iman’s Henna Party
By Laura Kell, March 9, 2023
Original Video Link: https://www.instagram.com/p/CpjrzRcP7XZ/
Pink Moon Events in Jordan were the masterminds behind Princess Iman’s pre-wedding Henna party which took place in Jordan earlier. Queen Rania of Jordan was in attendance, along with Ms. Rajwa al Saif – Crown Prince Hussein’s fiancé and Princess Iman’s soon-to-be sister-in-law – her aunts, Princess Aisha bint Hussein and Princess Zein bint Hussein; and her grandmother, Princess Muna al-Hussein.
‎‏”It’s an immense honor to have designed & planned the Henna party for her Royal Highness Princess Iman,” Pink Moon events writes within the caption. “We are proud to have engaged a group of skilled Jordanians to contribute in this project. Mabrook our beautiful Princess.”
The video highlights the skill and craftsmanship of local artisans, who prepared traditional decorations, table settings and tapestries for the event. The henna party took place at Al Husseiniya Palace.
Harper’s Bazaar Saudi interviewed Lubna Kolagasi and Rana Jundi, owners of Pink Moon.
“iI was a moment of personal pride and gratitude for the design and organization of Princess Iman’s henna party, which touched our hearts and the hearts of many craftsmen from the local community,” the two founders of the company said. “Everything was done according to customs and traditions. We were able to host a Princess Iman’s henna party, combining the uniqueness of old weddings with the elegant touches of modern nuptials, all while blending the essence of the past and the difference of the present. Embroidery was the focal point of the evening’s décor at the Al Husseiniya Palace.”
Lubna explained to Bazaar Saudi: “More than 30 talented women were hired from the local community… This was to create the furnishings and embroidered murals, all of them crafted in traditional patterns and stitches.”
“We were keen to add special embroideries from all of Jordan’s governorates,” she added. “The Royal Hashemite Court gifted a special souvenir to every guest who attended the event, as per royal custom. We were not responsible for the gifts.” (Source)
