#lyrics met him last night
Text
imo everyone on earth should be talking about Him (don't want this showing up in the tag even though it's not a diss) but everytime i go to the tag and there's only like 3 new posts i'm like. oh yeah almost no one cares except me and like 5 other ppl on here
i ran out of tags KFHSJENNXN i don't think that's literally ever happened to me before anyways don't read them because it's just me being insane as per usual
#most of his indirects on twitter are from people in diff asian countries as well and ik he's doing an asia tour soon(?)#bruh he's never coming back to the usa is he 😭😭😭 i need him in chicago i miss him so bad#i feel very ugly emotionally rn still bc i was reading all of the rando ass dating rumors of him last night LMAO and it pissed me off#i know i have no right to get mad and i'm being irrational but at the same time like. everyone is just like 'omg he's so in love rn'#bc his music has been very angsty and like. idk... conflicted? but his new song was very happy and sweet and very In Love Sounding#and i already know all his music is about one person bc he always talks about the same shit (he's very predictable i see right thru him)#and he's putting out a new song called 'shining' and he has been talking abt a person being his light/shining on him for the last 7yrs atp#so like. that's how i know it's about one specific person and i don't think he has moved on LMAOOO so unless he was dating the same random#7yrs ago i don't think he's dating any of the people they bring up tbh... i pay attention to these things not to brag or anything but like#being attentive to the people i love and noticing inconsistincies in their behavior and when they act diff is like. the only skill i have#at least irt other people LMAO like honestly i wrote all the lyrics he ever wrote down in a google doc and it shows a clear trajectory#that starts like... innocently and just gets more fucked up and toxic as it goes. and ppl say he's one of the most sane ppl they know#meanwhile he's been writing songs about 1 person for nearly 10 years and they get progressively more desperate and insane#I'M JUST SAYING. i completely forgot what my original point was but i guess it was most likely that. no one pays attention to him like i do#the songs started being about this person at the same time i started liking him and having dreams about meeting him btw#and they got progessively more uh. spiteful and desperate and weird as the years went on. did i mention i cast a spell on him 😐#and he literally says shit like 'it's impossible for me to move on' 'i don't care about anyone else' 'it's like i'm possessed' etc#and after we met at his concert he got really into saying shit like 'that one night wasn't enough' and 'the spotlight between us'#&the ever-famous 'i like the way you look at me' 'my eyes are on you' 'focus on me just look at me' when all i did was look at him all night#if you're reading this right now and thinking 'celeste do you seriously believe a kpop guy has been writing songs about you for 7 years?'#you should remember who i am and how i reacted to ***** having a gf (that i guessed exactly right months before he revealed it)#i'm schizophrenic 🤷‍♀️ but the guy i'm into was the one who started my fascination with soulmates and destiny and fate and shit like that#you know it's funny i mention that because he also started writing about that!!!!! in his songs!!! crazy#and he talks about the person making it hard for him to sleep and wanting to meet them in his dreams again and whathaveyou#i mean even in his two newest title tracks he says 'i'm frustrated in the studio the only melody that comes out is for you' and#'i want to turn everything about you into a song' in the newest one... hm.#and btw he announced his album right when i admitted i was in love with him again to my family (they know my insanity LMAO)#and he releases a song about being happy and in love and listening for someone's voice from far away to reach him/vice versa?????#right when i get back into him???#it's my fave color & his fave color & he's releasing it in my birth month like. i know billions of coincidences are a thing but it's crazy

Season 3 Opening Scene Nightingale 1941 Theory
So, season 2 opened with a flashback that had us totally reevaluating Aziraphale’s and Crowley’s relationship. I think the same will be true of season 3.
I think we will return to the night in 1941, to find out that they kissed, danced, or more that night.
1 - Why are they sitting at a table in the bookshop just drinking, no food on the table? When they’re drinking they don’t use a table. I think it’s to clue us in that there is more to the scene than what we are seeing - at some point before or after they had dinner.
2 - We know that Aziraphale did the apology dance in 1941 - again an indication that there is probably more to that evening than what we have seen so far.
3 - When Crowley says ‘no nightingales’ in S2E6 we now think he’s referring to the scene at the end of S1E6 in the Ritz, but it does seem a bit of a reach. It was a very nice moment, but I don’t think a relationship defining one that would cause both of them to think of it as their song.
4 - A Nightingale Sang was released in 1940, first charting at the end of December 1940. It would have been a hit in 1941 (according to Wikipedia it got up to #2).
5 - I think they had dinner, they danced, or perhaps even kissed to Nightingale as it was playing on the radio, and it became their song in a much more significant moment in 1941.
6 - When Aziraphale says to Crowley “Perhaps one day we could…dine at the Ritz” after “You go too fast for me Crowley” he would then be directly referring to their song from 1941.
7 - When it plays at the Ritz at the end of season 1, it’s because the pianist finds themselves mysteriously compelled to perform it, like the Oxford bus driver taking them to London.
8 - And finally, when Crowley says “no nightingales” at the end of S2 it is just devastating, it’s him saying there is no us.
And another thing: in the lyrics to Nightingale: That Certain night, the night we met/There was MAGIC abroad in the air. 😁
One more thing: I can certainly see Neil gleefully being like “Psych, it WASN’T their first kiss.”, and the scene would be just as heartbreaking if not more so if it was what Crowley thought was their last kiss.
ETA I just rewatched the bookshop table scene for like the 17th time. Holy 💩 is the dialogue strange and very loaded. The “trust me” bit, and the “shades of grey”. Throughout the whole scene Aziraphale is sideways eye fucking Crowley. There is simply no way we’re not going to see more of this scene in Season 3.
I very much like this whole idea, it probably won’t happen. Maybe someone will write a fanfic at least.

bakugou isn’t afraid to love you openly here, in the morning sun.
note: title is lyrics from a zach bryan song <3 this has only been lightly edited, but I hope you enjoy! the line break thing below is from @/cafekitsune
Tumblr media
bakugou slams his hand down on his alarm clock at 5:29 a.m., exactly one minute before the alarm is actually set to go off. you have been fighting off a cold the past few days, and after some warm soup and medicine he bribed you with a kiss to take, he’s a nurturer at heart, sue him, you finally were able to sleep. that last thing he wants is his stupid alarm to wake you up.
bakugou is a natural earlier riser. he likes to have time to wake up, drink some coffee, go to the gym and shower and still make it back to you before 8. when he looks over at you now though, he has a feeling that his morning routine isn’t going to be acted upon.
you’re sprawled across his bare chest, legs tangled up with his like a love knot. your face is squished against his bicep, mouth hanging open since you can’t breath through your nose at the moment. some drool has dried on his skin, and while bakugou usually is a clean freak, the sight endears him more than it grosses him out.
perspiration makes your skin glow slightly in the soft early sunlight. you had been running a low grade fever last night, but you still insisted on plastering yourself to him to sleep even though he naturally runs hotter than the average person. he knows you’ll complain whenever you have to unstick yourself from him, but he also knows later tonight you’ll snuggle up to him all the same.
looking at you like this, so soft and warm, he’s suddenly reminded of when he first met you. he was a brooding second year at u.a., a child who had been through far too much already, and you were in the general studies department. the school decided to partner up the hero courses with the general studies department for some assignment bakugou can’t even remember now. he got paired with you.
he remembers the guarded look in your eyes whenever you approached him for the first time, the way you softly introduced yourself, and the way you glared at him whenever he scoffed at you. he remembers being surprised, no one normally had the guts to do anything except take what he dished out. but you didn’t.
one night in the library, you finally hit your breaking point. you were mad and fed up with his attitude. the words you said to him still pierce him today.
“bakugou. you have the potential to make something of yourself, but your attitude is going to determine whether you’re great or horrible.”
you had rushed off in a huff after that, leaving him there speechless. he’d been chasing you ever since. eventually, fourth year to be exact, you let him catch you.
now, in bed with you all these years later, he isn’t afraid to be soft with you. he isn’t afraid to touch your face gently, like he does now. bakugou lightly traces the lines of your face with one calloused finger, lingering on the bags underneath your eyes that have deepened from your lack of sleep lately.
his touch makes you stir, and let a jumble of sounds that after years of practice bakugou can understand to be the question “what time is it?”
“too early for you to be up. go back to sleep.” is his response, gruff voice only a whisper. you let out a “mmmmmkay” and snuggle in closer, if that’s even possible. you both are already practically one being, but bakugo can’t find it in him to be upset.
with you in his arms, bakugou drifts back to sleep, morning routine all but forgotten.

mr. too late

word count: 6.9k
University life was made up of a lot of late nights. Late nights studying for a midterm or cramming for a final exam. Late nights finishing assignments and group projects. Late nights running recklessly around campus with your friends. The late night you first met Quinn Hughes was in a crowded house on the Greek side of campus.
The Wolverine’s had qualified for the Big Ten, which wasn’t a surprise to anyone, but college kids didn’t need much of an excuse to throw a party. Quinn Hughes was the man of the hour, playing a key role in securing their placement.
All the sports divisions were there, congratulating the hockey team and celebrating a step closer to their names on a plaque. Perpetually concussed, the linesmen of the Michigan University football team did not always have the best ideas. One of those bad ideas was starting a mosh pit in the kitchen. You had just been in the wrong place, wrong time, caught between the counter and the sausage fest that mirrored an amateur wrestling match.
“Hey.” The voice was quiet but firm. “Hey!” The voice was thunderous, like a boom in the enclosed space, and they paused just enough for him to get through to you. “Let her get out before you send yourselves back to the hospital,” an arm wrapped around you, pulling you free from where you were rooted, and guiding you into a less chaotic room.
“Thanks,” you were wide-eyed, and if you were nervous in the middle of a football mosh pit, it was nothing compared to the feeling of Quinn Hughes arm around you, and his firm hand at the small of your back. He released you to get the attention of one of his nearby teammates.
“You all right?” he asked, and then reached over you to grab the bottle of water he had his teammate retrieve, and placed it in your hands. “Drink it all before you leave, okay?”
He didn’t stick around when your friends materialized, other than to greet them in passing. He didn’t bother to introduce himself; he didn’t have to. The rink had been chanting his name not long ago. And he would never know yours, because you were a music major, completely removed from his world.
.
When a clip of a song of yours picked up unexpected traction online, you were prompted to release the full song on YouTube. It put you on the map, industry wise, as well as socially at school. Your classmates were supportive and happy for you, the school administration was pleased with the attention their music program began to receive, your teachers enjoyed a marginal amount of extra funding, and your name became somewhat known to your peers.
You tried not to let it get to your head. The last thing you wanted to be was a one-hit wonder. The pressure you began to pile onto yourself caused you to retreat into practice rooms, creating samples and writing lyrics on end. After a couple months, you released two more songs. While they were both still well received, they didn’t do nearly as well as your first.
Having had enough of your moping, and deciding you really deserved it, your friends dragged you out to the local college bar. Your friends had managed to secure a comfy booth and you had drunk enough to feel like yourself again, but like most kids your age, you wanted more.
Leaning against the bar trying to get the bartender’s attention had never been more of a challenge to you than on that night. Was your shirt not cut low enough? You almost gave up when you felt someone approach immediately behind you, pushing you gently against the bar. You looked over your shoulder to see Quinn Hughes, again seemingly to your rescue.
“’Scuse me,” he called over you and the bartender, who hadn’t so much as made eye contact with you, walked right over. Quinn leaned down, lips to your ear, “tell him what you want, sweetheart.” You choked out your order as his arms snaked low on your waist, pulling you against him. Something about Quinn made you let him, made you like it.
“You smell nice,” he murmured, as he rested his chin against the crook of your neck and you watched the bartender make your drinks, letting him melt you. You could smell the beer heavy on his lips and wondered how many he had. He said something to the bartender that made him laugh. You reached out to give the bartender your card and he glanced at Quinn, before ignoring you again.
Historically, Quinn Hughes always had the prettiest girl in the room. Alluring eyes, perfect bone structure, and unquestionably beautiful. You weren’t that and you were painfully aware of it, yet with his hands on you it felt like you could be. With his lips against your skin as he spoke, “You wanna get out of here, pretty girl?”
You knew that you weren’t his type. You should have known better than to go home with him. You finished your drink quickly.
Because damn, did Quinn Hughes look good in red.
.
In the coming weeks, it seemed like Quinn couldn't get enough of you. He would meet you after your classes to walk you to your next, even if it meant he had to sprint across campus to make it in time for his own. He would bring you study snacks and sneak into your dorm. He liked to text you late into the night, and when he really needed you, he would call. It felt like espionage, sneaking around his shared house on campus. He liked the thrill of it, being with you without really being with you. He thought you felt the same. He thought you understood.
He couldn't get enough of you, until he did.
You should have known better than to fight him into a relationship...
"How can you say you love me but not want to be with me?" You were hysterical, tears free falling as you screamed at him.
"I just can't right now- fuck! We've been over this." He snapped, rubbing his face in frustration.
"Yeah, 'cause you only love me when your dick's wet."
It wasn't your first and certainly wouldn’t be the last fight you'd have that would end with him holding you and apologizing, empty promises, and sweet nothings in your ear.
... because being in a relationship with Quinn wasn’t at all what you thought it would be like. You would soon find out that dating Quinn was a lot better than being his girlfriend.
Because maybe if you were just dating, it wouldn't have affected you so much, the way his car would sometimes smell faintly of a perfume you didn't own.
“A buddy of mine borrowed the car to take his girl out, that's all."
Maybe if you were just dating, it wouldn't have mattered that he was buying girls drinks at the bar.
“They're my friends, I can't buy my friends drinks?"
Maybe if you were just dating, it wouldn't have hurt so much when you broke up and saw him with your thesis partner the next day.
But if he hadn't done all that, you wouldn’t have written that song that topped charts. You wouldn’t have won all those awards for it, either. Without which you probably wouldn’t have gotten signed to that big record label when you graduated, and you wouldn’t have been able to finance all those music videos. You certainly wouldn’t have had the resources to fully produce your own albums. Not to mention, wouldn’t have had the support to pull off all six headline tours.
Before you could stop to breathe, you were one of the most decorated artists of your generation. You made music for the brokenhearted and the lovesick to scream, laugh, and cry to. Your personality was well received by your fans, finding your initial shyness endearing, and they loved and supported you through all your phases. With media training, you interviewed well, becoming well-liked across the industry. You lucked out when it came to management, and you were sure to thank and credit staff at every chance.
Your songs were repeated across radio stations, played in retail stores and restaurants, and viral for use on social media apps alike. You were invited to award shows and other high-scale events. You declined offers to endorse luxury brands. You were nominated for awards and rarely walked away empty handed. The you they knew and the person you knew yourself to be were almost one and the same.
But back when your song list was limited, having to sing songs about how Quinn had hurt you and having them sung back to you night after night- eventually something died inside you.
You stopped feeling giddy infatuation, and when you did you would chase it and stomp it out. That would explain the list of exes that the press was always sure to keep up to date. You hardly recognized yourself when you saw the paparazzi pictures of yourself next to men you knew well but don’t speak to anymore. Your eyes would glaze over, and you were satisfied, feeling no ache, no stir in your chest.
After a particularly public entanglement, probably the most negative press you had received in your entire career, you had taken a break from touring and writing new music. With wise direction from your managers, you refrained from responding online. Instead, you produced and worked on tracks for your friends, other like-minded artists that saw you eye to eye.
.
.
.
“Oh my god, babe. She’s coming to Vancouver.” Hailey squealed excitedly on her phone on the couch, “Babe, I have to go. Please can you get us tickets?”
“Who?” Quinn came over from the kitchen, leaning over the back of the couch. He was glad it was there to support him when he saw your face taking up nearly her whole phone screen.
“She won the Grammy for female artist of the year? Forbes 30 under 30?” She tried to make his memory work when he didn’t recognize you by your name. “She’s been pretty lowkey recently, but she’ll be here in August!” She began to read off her phone, “…She invites you to join her on the Era’s Tour, a journey through fan favorite songs from each Era. Oh my god, I started listening when she had like, half of her first song out. Baby, please.” That was all it took for Quinn to cave in. He had always been a bit of a pushover.
It'll be fine, he told himself, and it was. Until his girlfriend made him listen to every one of your songs and watch every one of your music videos leading up to the concert.
He was surprised at how many songs he recognized that he never knew were yours. He'd heard you playing in arenas on the odd game night. J.T. had one on his playlist that he swore his wife put there, though he never removed it.
His girlfriend insisted on playing your music in his car, so 'she could learn your call and responses.' For fuck's sake, he was a grown man learning your fanchants. But when he looked at his girlfriend and saw how happy it made her, he tanked it, swallowed his pride.
It’ll be fine. The worst part was that he could hear himself in every song. And while there was no way every track in your extensive discography could possibly be about him (you weren't even together in December), he felt villainized with every song.
He'd never admit it now that it's buried in his past, but he does regret the way he had hurt you, and a handful of other girls in his college years. Blame it on being young. Blame it on being stupid. He never thought he'd have to face it the way he did now, or how he was going to have to face you later. Right, he remembered, she wanted meet and greet tickets, and as long as he could afford it, it was hers.
.
.
.
The day he had been dreading couldn’t have come sooner. He honestly considered faking Covid. But Hailey was so excited, and she was so beautiful, all dolled up in her pretty purple dress and tiara and sparkly makeup. “She wore a dress like this on the cover of her first album, remember?” She spun around for him, and his breath caught. He nodded, pulling her in for a sweet kiss. He was dressed semi-formally to match because he knew she would appreciate it. She didn’t even have to ask. One night, he could sit through one night.
He drove them to the stadium you had sold out and joined the line for the meet and greet before the show. It wasn’t unlike his meet and greets for the Canucks. A long conference room with merch for purchase on one side, and the line stretched out past the door along the other. There was a table situated at the end of the room, surrounded by staff and bodyguards and professional photographers. Hailey had quickly befriended other fans in line and was preoccupied with exchanging bracelets and words of excitement for the night that was only just beginning. The line was long but moved faster than he wanted, faster than he was ready for it to. Soon you were in view.
Nothing could have prepared him for the way he felt when he saw you, like how he felt waking up next to you for the first time. You were seated behind the table, in jeans and a hoodie. Comfortably dressed but already glammed up for the show. It was an interesting juxtaposition for sure. Your hair was tied up and you looked gorgeous. He felt bad when we wondered if you had always looked like this. He hadn’t seen or thought about you for the better part of a decade, yet you still felt so familiar. He couldn’t take his eyes off you as you took a moment with each fan, chatting and signing and smiling for photos. When their time was up, you always waved with an outreached hand and a sad smile, as if you didn’t want to say goodbye. Then, with a bright smile, you welcomed the next like an old friend. Compared to him and his teammates, you were good at this, he thought.
And you were. You were really good at your job.
So good, that you barely batted an eye when you saw him there, behind the prettiest girl in the room. He stood back, letting her interact with you and it was clear he was here for her.
“You look beautiful,” you told her, because it was true.
“I can’t believe you’re here; you haven’t been to Vancouver since the 1989 tour. I didn’t get to meet you then, but I was there!” You looked up at her with fond eyes.
“Aw, I’m glad you liked it enough to come back," you laughed at your own joke, prompting a giggle out of her, "and I’m so happy we have this chance to finally meet. What’s your name?” You asked, sharpie in hand. Hailey. She had chosen a lot of your merch. Two hoodies, an oversized tee, a tote bag, a deluxe album, a print, and a baseball cap. You signed each one as she told you about how much your songs helped her through tough times and boy problems. You told her that writing them helped you through the same sort of things. She gave Quinn the hat to wear and the rest of the merch to carry before posing for a picture with you. He also took some on her phone for her. You saw him take out his card to pay for her items and adjust the hat on his head. He didn’t take it off.
“Well, it looks like you’ve got a good guy over there, so hold on to him for me, okay?” You give her a hug before she leaves. He didn’t say a word to you, and it was probably for the best. You didn’t address him because it was clearly her night. It seemed like you had both grown since leaving Michigan, you thought to yourself. You request a tissue from a staff member nearby and dab at your eyes, ensuring the water pooling there doesn’t ruin your makeup team’s hard work.
.
The opening act had exited the stage, your tour into film had concluded, and the stadium was left in darkness for the next 5 minutes. Screams would erupt here and there, whenever someone thought they saw movement on stage.
They heard you before they saw you, the intro to one of your songs hushed the chatter.
Today was a fairytale, you were the prince.
I used to be a damsel in distress.
Firefly-like lights lit up the stage, which could only be described as magical. You appear singing from a grassy hill in a sea of stars that turned into cotton candy clouds, all inside the stadium. You were now in a beautiful cream coloured gown, and with some help from the crew, your hair and dress fluttered in the ‘wind.’
He couldn’t remember the last time he felt nervous like this. You had that effect on him. He gripped the steering wheel, and when he felt ready, he reached over to hold your hand in his. He was driving you back from your first real date. He had taken you to a nearby park with a pretty pond for a picnic. He had done all the prep, brought everything you needed, even a pillow in case you didn’t like sitting on the ground. Despite him driving, his leg bounced a little, waiting for the next red light. When it never came, he took the next best thing, stopping at a stop sign routinely. You looked over in confusion when it seemed like he was waiting at the empty intersection, and he leaned across the centre console to kiss you. Only after a series of honks behind you, did Quinn pull away, and even then he took his time.
A strange sense of pride filled Quinn, watching you. He was proud of you, even if it wasn’t his place to be anymore.
When the song ended, the mechanical hill had let you down, and you approached the front of the stage. The intro to the next song had already begun playing and looping while you interacted with the audience.
“Hi Vancouver,” were your first words of the night, “I hope tonight is as much of a fairytale for you guys as it is for me. You guys know this next song, it’s one of the first I ever wrote. But what you might not know is that the boy I wrote this song about is actually here tonight.” You teased, bringing a hand over your eye, like a sailor looking out at sea.
And the crowd went wild. Quinn felt his dinner try to find its way back up when the concert cameras scanned the audience, and they began to boo every guy the camera landed on. Even Hailey was sussing out any nearby male attendees.
“No, no,” you hushed with a soft smile, “I want to thank him, because this is where it all started,” you opened your arms wide, referring to everything around you, “without him, we wouldn’t have found each other. Thank you, Vancouver, for showing up tonight, and,” you paused, looking down the main stage camera, “Thank you for breaking my heart. You probably haven’t heard this song before, but I hope you like it.”
Mr. Perfect Face, Mr. Here to Stay.
Mr. Look me in the eye and tell me you would never go away.
If asked, he’d say he felt nothing. How he wished he felt nothing. It reminded him of a time where he had repressed his feelings so much that he did.
The breakup was like a page torn out of a notebook, the edges raw and unsightly. Whoever ripped it did so too quickly, too carelessly. You rarely crossed paths post relationship, just as it had been before. Your worlds were just never meant to collide.  You had been commissioned to provide background music at the annual end of the season athletic banquet. You were there before he arrived, seated at a grand piano in the centre of the room in a flowing cream gown. Just playing. He didn’t even know you played the piano. Your fingers danced over the keys, and your eyes would occasionally close and your eyebrows furrow, focusing on the music as formally dressed guests chattered all around you.  He walked past you without a second look. He couldn't decipher your thoughts even if he wanted to, and he didn’t.
He was wincing so much that Hailey checked to make sure he was okay. How does he tell her that he’s pretty sure the song is about him, and that it didn’t help that she knew all the words. He couldn’t, so instead, “Yeah, I’ll be fine.”
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without
This was probably among the hardest songs for you to perform, and not necessarily vocal wise. It reminded you of every time your love hadn't been reciprocated.
Quinn was a popular guy. He had always been, since joining the hockey team. He was a fun player to watch. He knew it, too, fully aware of his capabilities on the ice. You never pictured yourself with him, and never pined after him as a result of your realistic mindset. If you had paid any amount of attention to him off the ice, you would have known he was one to move on quick.  You'll never forget the feeling of your heart under your own feet when you opened the door to practice room you had planned to meet Rebecca, your graduating thesis partner. She was there, straddling your ex boyfriend's lap.  Safe to say, you submitted the application to end your thesis partnership.
Oh I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called
And then you feel so low you can't feel nothing at all
Three songs across three albums, a costume and stage change later, you spoke to the audience again while the crew around you put all the pieces into place.
“I have such an amazing team and am so lucky to work with the people I get to, but this next song is one that I wrote and arranged and recorded myself, because I didn’t have them in my life just yet.”
For this set, you sat on the roof of a house, with a spotlight as if you were sitting under the moon. You looked around at the crew subtly, wanting to make sure everyone was ready before starting the next song. When you didn’t get the go ahead, you continued talking.
“You may have heard about an upcoming album of mine. The songs on it are nothing new, but quite the opposite. I like to say they’re from the Vault, because I never thought they’d see the light of day,” you laughed into the mic. The audience had never been so silent, listening intently to your next words regarding unreleased music.
“I know you guys will try and play Sherlock, so I’ll just tell you. I wrote this song maybe a month after Mr. Perfectly Fine, about surprise, surprise, the same boy,” you paused to crack another joke, “I should really get over this guy, huh?” The audience laughed along with you. It was so long ago now.
“It’s a song that I was really scared to write, and then scared to release, and then scared to even have my name anywhere on it because I felt like it was… it was maybe too honest for what I was ready to feel.”
The crew gave you the green light and you wrapped it up, “But, this song is about acceptance. When you finally stop hurting yourself trying to understand why someone…” your voice faltered, “didn’t love you the way you thought they did, it all becomes so much more clear.”
This was the first time you would perform the song live, the first time you would perform it in front of anyone other than your close-knit team. You rubbed your arms, and fiddled with your microphone throughout the song, self-soothing as you fought the feelings trying to choke you up. Unfamiliar with the new song, the audience didn’t sing this one back to you. You were reminded of how alone you felt when you wrote it.
You dodged a bullet there, you told yourself. You tried to convince yourself it was a blessing in disguise. Throughout your fast and hot relationship with Quinn, you barely wrote anything new, perpetually preoccupied with him. And when your hands missed the feeling of him, you put them to use on instruments you hadn’t touched in a while. You wrote through the late nights and early into the mornings, pouring your heart out onto paper was the only way you could remove yourself from feeling it ache threefold. Night after night, you lay awake, wondering what was wrong with you. Wondering why you couldn’t keep him. Wondering if you just laid off him, would he still be here with you? You should have just closed your eyes at the red flags, but they had become so bright behind your eyelids. You couldn’t run through red lights forever.   You shut yourself in your room for weeks, crying and writing and crying some more. You’d hug yourself and it was never enough, it didn’t envelope you like his did, and you had to come to terms with the fact that you would never feel that again.
Luckily your voice hadn’t faltered, but when you came to, opened your eyes to a galaxy of phone flashlights, you sniffled. Face wet with tears, you persevered.
Overanalyzed it, front, back, and beside it.
Where else can we go? There’s nothing left here to decode.
Done looking for signs in the gaps and the silence.
It’s just getting old. There’s nothing left here to decode.
Quinn had to sit down. It helped that everyone was standing around him, a wall isolating him from you. Sure, he bought the tickets, but he didn’t feel like he was supposed to be here. He wasn’t sure what he was thinking, showing up. His throat felt like it was closing, anaphylaxis.
“I’m in my fuckin’ feelings, you guys.” You laughed when the emotional song concluded, inviting the crowd to laugh with you. You moved on quickly, “If you’re wondering, this next song is about the Black Eyes Peas.” It was your tour; he couldn’t escape you, and he looked up at the screen to his detriment.
You had moved from the roof of the stage house into the bedroom, where the audience could see the silhouette of you changing behind the curtains of the bedroom window. I’m a homewrecker, I’m a slut. He was having trouble breathing, all too familiar with the movements of you taking off your clothes. Tell me who I am, guess I don’t have a choice. All because I liked a boy. Once you had completed your costume change, you came down the stairs of the set house, the camera following you every step of the way, now in a glittery nightgown.
When you reached the main stage, it glowed pink, the whole stadium blanketed in a romantic hue of red. “This next song is one of my favourites to perform. I think it may be a lot of your favourites, too. Let’s have some fun. Fuck boys, literally haha.. Okay Vancouver, let’s go!”
Think I only want one number in my phone
I might change your contact to ‘don’t leave me alone.’
You said you like my eyes, and you like to make ‘em roll.
When he saw you leave your friends, he knew it was his chance.  He had been playing a dangerous game, seeing how many bottles he could empty before he could catch you alone. He recognized you from the Big Ten celebration party. He was digging the helpless vibe you had going on. When he saw you in the kitchen amidst a football brawl, his body moved towards you before he could process what he was doing. Your friends had cock-blocked him then, but he doesn’t make the same mistake twice. He was drawn to you, smitten with ideas of you. You followed him out of the bar, around to the parking lot, and he led you towards his car. To your surprise, he opened the door to the back seat. You raised an eyebrow, “Real forward, Hughes.” With his hands on your hips he pressed you into the side of his car, flush against you, “You want me to fuck you out here?” He leaned down, brushed his nose to yours, lips brushing against each other as he spoke. Short of breath, you shook your head, lowering yourself into the backseat, his hand guided the back of your head to make sure you didn’t knock the ceiling. With a laugh, he followed you in and locked the door behind him. You had never had sex in a car before. You had never slept with someone on the first date, either, much less before one. (Much less Quinn Hughes) At least his windows were tinted. Was that even legal in Michigan? You wondered, but couldn’t think about it for long. “You into me or the car?” He teased you when you took too long, “C’mere, pretty girl.” He tried to pull you into his lap, but you wanted to impress him, so you squished yourself down in between his legs, on your knees. The passenger seat had already been adjusted all the way forward, but it wasn’t exactly comfortable. “Oh fuck.” You definitely surprised him. You were pleased with yourself, being able to render him silent for a moment. One hand on his clothed thigh, the other on his already hard cock, you went to work on him, all business. While everything pointed towards Quinn being quiet in bed, it turned out he certainly wasn’t. “Fuck, baby, you're so good with your mouth.” It was probably the most rewarding blowjob you had ever given. “Mm, I could fuck your face forever, pretty girl. Can I cum on your face, gorgeous?”  “Mhm,” you responded enthusiastically. Your eyes rolled back, getting used to the feeling of him deep in your throat. You moaned just with his words. He had barely touched you and you were already a puddle in his car. “Fuck, you’d like that?” Quinn’s head fell back with deep groan as his hand reach for the back of yours, pulling you down on him. When he looked down at you, he was alarmed to see you rocking on your heel. “Aw, baby why didn’t you say anything? Your mouth full? Cock got your tongue?” he teased and without words you teased back, removing your mouth from him, tongue lapping at his tip. He took himself in his hand and tapped it on your tongue, your spit following, not wanting to break the connection. Then to your surprise, he slapped it lightly against your cheek. He laughed when you blinked up at him, your eyes wide with surprise and arousal. No one had ever done that to you before, he could tell. His ego swelled at the thought of being your first good fuck. “Sweetheart, I am going to take such good care of you.”
Hailey loved this song. It had to be your most popular one, because the audience was shrieking the outro. It was also the song he heard most played in Rogers Arena, and the one J.T Miller had sitting somewhere in his liked songs on Spotify. “Vancouver, let me hear you!” The track played on past the outro, and he honestly forgot about this part.
“I’ve got great personality but no tits. This song is not about Joshua Bassett. Vancouver, thank you so much, you’ve been splendid.”
This version made even Hailey scream, which made Quinn wonder who this Joshua guy was, because it seemed like a big deal for you to name drop him. The feeling in his chest was familiar, though he couldn’t quite place it.
You were perched at the bar. He had left you for two minutes, just two minutes, to say hi to a buddy of his and when he looked over at you, there was some guy chatting you up. It was some football Chad, bigger than him, and that never intimidated him, but something about it didn’t sit right with him that night.  But he watched it play out. He hadn’t gotten too close to you yet, didn’t try anything on you. He watched you laugh and move to show him something on your phone. When Chad leaned down to look, Quinn stood up.  With a light check to the guy’s shoulder, he made room for himself between you two, wrapping his arm around your waist possessively. You might have found it attractive, if he hadn’t pissed you off then left you alone at the bar. You glared at him, and he glared right back.  “You good here?”  “Yeah, fine,” you bite, and Tyler, not wanting to cause any more trouble than he felt he had, gave you a sheepish smile and dismissed himself with a nod. “What does he want with you?” His tone unimpressed, Quinn watched him leave, back to table with his friends.  “If you must know,” you shook his arm off to face him fully, look him square in the eye, “I’m teaching Ty how to play guitar.”  “Why the fuck does that guy want to play guitar?”  “I don’t know, Quinn,” you sneer in exasperation, “It’s for his elective course. You know, some girls like guys that play instruments.”  “He has a girlfriend, you know.”  “I know. He wants to learn her favourite song. I was trying to show him where he could find the scores.” His words rubbed you the wrong way and you couldn’t keep your cool about it, “What are you insinuating?”  “Oh, fuck off, you know what it looked like.”  “Jealousy doesn’t look good on you, Q.”
When he came to, you were finishing another song. He checked on Hailey, who had an arm around the girl next to her, having befriended another fellow fan. She was a people person, unlike you had been. You must have really benefited from the media training, he thought.
“You guys, I’m having so much fun. Are you having a good time?” You were breathing heavily, sweat glimmering on your skin. “Can- Can we get some lights?” You asked, exposing the live band. The audience murmured with confusion and concern, but you were quick to explain, “I just want to check in with everyone. It's hot in here, and I had a couple fainters last show. Does anyone need water? We’ve got guys in the aisles passing out water now. I’ll give out whatever we have up here.” The crowd swooned as you kneeled down and reached past the stage to hand them out yourself. “Take care of yourselves. It is so important, each and every one of you are so, so important to me.”
Yeah, you definitely benefited from the media training. Quinn couldn’t tell if you were doing this for good press, or if you were actually concerned. You seemed genuine, but then again, he couldn’t read you back then. He certainly couldn't read you now.
It’s a long concert, Quinn realizes, as he checks the time. He had been sitting down for a while, so he got up to stretch his legs, wrapping an arm around his girlfriend’s waist. “You okay?”
“Yes, I’m having the time of my life,” Hailey reached up to wrap her arms around his neck, giving him a tight hug, “Thank you so much for making this happen. It means a lot to me that you’re here, too."
"Do you want something to drink?" he offers to grab her something from the concession.
"No, I'm okay, I want you to enjoy this too!"
So he stayed. It's hard to say whether he enjoyed it. If he was being critical, he would say it wasn't stuff he‘d go out of his way to listen to. It just wasn't his vibe or genre. If he was being honest, he was happy to see you doing well. He enjoys making the people he loves happy, and as he watches his girlfriend sing and dance, it didn’t matter that it was your songs.
He thought he was hallucinating when he saw a familiar fucking orca across the stage screens.
"What's this? Oh my gosh. Stop,” you gushed, beaming as you took the hockey jersey from the crew member who ran it over to you. "I suppose it's only fair, since I think I wore one of these in Toronto... I know how much this city loves hockey."
Quinn's eyes widened, horrified, while Hailey jumped and screamed with excitement, along with every other member of the audience. You pulled it over your head, and it covered the short slip dress you had on completely, stopping mid thigh. Once you had adjusted yourself, they handed you a paper and you opened it up, scanning it before reading for the audience. "Heard you were in town, have a great show, and enjoy the best city in the world. Big fans, the Canucks. Awww," you cooed, and the response was deafening, not that you could really hear past your in-ears. You beamed and gave them a spin before showing them your back. Your last name was written across your shoulders, but it was the big 43 underneath them that put a bad taste in Quinn's mouth, although Hailey didn't seem bothered about it at all. In fact, she loved it.
"Babe, you are so lucky. Can I have one of yours with my name on it?" He frowned, because he liked when she wore his jersey, with his name on it.
"Of course, babe," He said despite his feelings. He would give her anything she wanted. She kissed him on the cheek, just as the arena camera found him. He lowered the hat on his face, and his face in her neck, trying to hide. She laughed, getting the message, but smiled and jumped for the camera all the same.
“Thank you so much, Vancouver. I can’t wait to check you out tonight,” you chatted with the audience again, allowing for another set change behind you. “I got here at about… four, five? In the morning today.” They rolled everything out, emptied the stage until it was just you. “Not much open at that time, hey?” you laughed, “but it’s the weekend, so I’m looking forward to exploring a bit. Don’t look for me,” you told them seriously. “I’m not that interesting off stage, without all these guys.” You motioned towards the stage crew that rolled out a piano, and the small orchestra joined your band. You thanked them and took a seat.
“This song reflects a lot about how I feel right now. I don’t want this night to end. I hope you feel this way, too. I hope you made some new friends and new memories. I hope you remember the way you feel tonight. Let’s do this again, someday soon.”
This night is sparkling, don’t you let it go
I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home
...
Say you’ll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you’ll see me again, even if it’s just in your wildest dreams
The longest night of his life ended with girls sobbing all around him. He held Hailey in his arms, chuckling at the ridiculousness of it all
“Can we see her again?” she sniffled adorably into his chest. He rubbed her back and reached up to brush her hair out of her face.
“Of course we can,” he pressed a kiss to her forehead, making note to save some songs of yours he didn't hate, to play in the car for her.

“Oh my god, babe.” Quinn was getting a bad sense of deja vu. He joined Hailey on the couch and she showed him the article on her phone.
Pictured was him in your merch at the concert, the cap that Hailey was currently wearing. Side by side with a picture of you in his jersey. Fuck, he glanced at Hailey nervously. “Babe,” he began, sure he would have to explain himself. But she cut him off.
“Do you know how big it is to be allegedly dating? This is insane,” she squealed, giggling. Quinn sighed in relief. At least she wasn’t mad. He tried to laugh it off. She scrolled through the post as she read it excitedly, “they think she’ll write a song about you! Too bad that’ll never happen. Should we break up so you can date her, so she can dump you and then write a song about it?” She joked.
“Hey- what makes you think she’d be the one dumping me?”
And they spent the next 30 minutes on the couch, cuddling and debating on what his song would be about, as if you would ever write one.

............................
“Hello?”
“Mr. Miller?” She can hear sheets rustling, his gruff sigh over the crackling receiver.
“It’s late, honey. What’s wrong?” Her heart stutters at the sweet name he calls her, the same name he’s called her since she first met him when her dad started working for Miller Construction four years ago.
“It’s my car. I think I have a flat tire and I can’t drive on it.” A long sigh filters through the phone.
“You should call your dad. He’s probably worried sick about you.”
“No! I can’t– he’s gonna be so pissed. Please, Mr. Miller. Would you– would you come get me? I know you’re good with cars and all. Please?” Another long sigh.
“Alright, honey. Will you tell me where you are?” She does, pulled over on the shoulder of the highway, a little ways out of the city but nowhere near home.
“Hang tight, I’m coming.”
“Thank you, Mr. Miller.”
“I’ve told you a thousand times– just Joel, honey.”
“Thank you, Joel.”
“I’ll be there soon.” She clicks her cell phone shut with a sigh, slumping back in the driver’s seat of her car. Her stomach swirls in anticipation. Normally, she’d try to tamp down the crush she’s had on Joel for quite some time, but after a night out in the city with a few of her old high school friends, she’s just warmed up enough to let her mind race with thoughts of him. It’s silly, something that could never really happen, seeing as her dad has been best friends with Joel for years. But it wasn’t impossible, was it? After all, he’s younger than her dad, and only fifteen years older than her. Jesus christ, get a grip. She huffs, shaking her head to still her thoughts as she looks out at the pitch-black Texas night.
It isn’t long before headlights are brightening up the inside of her car and she turns in her seat to see Joel’s familiar pick up truck pulling up behind her.
….
The rosary that hangs off her rear-view mirror is swaying harshly, the only sound beside their harsh panting and the sticky slap of skin is it clinking into the windshield over and over again. She’s not entirely sure how they got here, a mixture of late night talking and boundaries being flirted with until they both gave in to something they couldn’t have in the light of day.
“Shit, honey– fucking squeezing me– bit of a stretch for you, huh?” A high-pitched whine falls from her lips, her nails digging into the fabric of his unbuttoned flannel. Joel lets out a breathy laugh.
“That’s it, bounce on it for me, there you go– fuck– boys at school just not cutting it, are they? Need someone with a little more skill.” He punctuates his last word with a jolting thrust up that has the swollen tip of his cock grazing a spot so deep inside her it makes her crumple up against him, his rough fingers digging into her ass to support her as he starts a jagged rhythm of his own.
“C’mon, miss college. Use your words. Who’s making you feel so good?” She hadn’t been expecting it, a surprised yelp leaving her lips when he smacks the curve of her ass, hard, broad palm sure to leave a mark. There is nothing comfortable about the position they’re in, her straddling his lap, scrunched over him in the driver seat, one hand pressed up against the car door window while the other digs into his shoulders for stability. But all she can focus on is the sweet snap of pain and pleasure licking up her spine with each of his thrusts.
“You, Joel– you feel so good– want more– please, please–” Her words die in her throat when he thrusts up particularly hard, pressing her hips down to meet him and holding her there in a deep grind. She lets out a choked sob of his name, cunt clenching hard around him and coaxing a low moan from the back of his throat.
“Been wanting this for a while, haven’t you, honey?” His words are a smear against her bare chest where he had tugged down the front of her dress and bra, leaving harsh grazes of his teeth to the swell of her tits. He chuckles when the only response she gives him is a preening whine.
“Fucking knew it. You think I didn’t see how you were looking at me? Practically begging for it– shit– dirty little thing, aren’t you? What would your old man say, huh? Does he know his daughter’s just a little slut?” His voice is a southern slur stamped hotly into her skin, low and drawling and all melted together, pushing her even closer to the brink as her wetness starts to smear down hers and Joel’s thighs, the sound of skin slicking and sticking with each thrust becoming impossibly lewd. It’s almost too much when his one hand dips under her rucked up skirt, fingers harshly toying with her clit.
“Give it to me, honey. Make a fucking mess, c’mon.” The pleasure floods over in an instant, the only sound she can make is a breathy chant of his name as her hips seize up and she spasms around him. He’s not far behind as he thrusts into her a few more times before his hips stutter to a stop and she feels his warmth spreading inside her. She clings to him, both of them breathing hard and flushed with pleasure.
“Jesus christ, I’m sorry– I should’ve–” “S’fine, I’m on the pill.” He throws his head back into the headrest at that, chest still heaving. But he doesn't stay still for long, jostling her in his hold as he suddenly leans forward and yanks the rosary still clinking into the windshield clean off the rearview mirror, tossing it haphazardly onto the passenger seat. She quirks an eyebrow at him as he settles back into the seat.
“Damn noise was driving me insane.”

a/n: this got away from me... I hope you all enjoy it! Feel free to send in requests for these two if you have them!! ALSO: this is the last post for them I'll have with a tag list... it's so much work and not that I dont love y'all ( I do) it's just hard. I hope y'all still love me and understand ❤️.
...
Is it normal to miss someone you just met?
Is it normal to go on a few dates, sleep over their house like every night and still miss them immensely when they're gone?
You and Eddie have spent every moment together since that first real date. Has he asked you to be his girlfriend yet? No. But you really don’t like to think too far into that one because then you’ll spiral, which is no good for anyone.
It didn’t matter too much. You knew it didn’t matter and you knew that he wasn’t fucking anyone else because he was either in your bed at night, or you were in his. I mean he could be fucking other people during the day, but you doubted it.
Back to the missing him part. It feels weird to miss someone who is a few feet in front of you, who you can literally see. But here you are, Eddie standing on the other side of some glass gathering things, and you miss him. You can’t help your thoughts from wandering back to if he feels the same way. But also, why would he? Men don’t act like that, right?
“Sweetheart, you ready?” Eddie's voice cuts through the fog of uncertainty.
You nod, a small smile playing on your lips. You were in the studio with Corroded Coffin, getting to watch their recording process. Eddie is right, there is something missing from a few of those songs, but you’re unsure if your voice is what is missing. You’re willing to try, though, still honored every agreed to this.
Eddie sets you up, putting headphones on you so you can hear the music. “Okay, sweet angel, don’t get too close to the mic because it can cause the sound to get a little weird. Got it?”
“I got it.” You grin up at him. He kisses you sweetly, your body growing hot.
He leaves, going to stand outside the booth with the rest of the band and his producer. He gives you a thumbs up, smile lighting up his face. He’s been more than excited that you agreed to do this.
You hear a count before the music starts, you quickly look down at the lyrics sheet in front of you. When you get the cue you start, turning on the most bedroom voice you can manage, eyes locking with Eddie’s as you speak. “Mine, be mine. Love me. Never let me go.”
You smirk at him as he squirms, his friends hitting his arm. You aren’t sure why it makes you happy to watch him squirm but it does. You let out a laugh, real and loud, instead of saying your next lines.
The producer perks up, cutting off the music, “oh my god, that was amazing! I need more of those.”
You feel your face get warm, a small and shy giggle leaving your chest. You don’t hear Eddie enter the room, but you can feel him. His energy calling to yours. You hum, not caring that they’re still recording you.
He pulls your headphones off, “great job, sweetheart.”
“Thank you, baby.” You lean in kissing his lips. It’s quick, just enough to get a taste of him. “This is a lot of fun. I like this!”
“You sounded very beautiful.”
You giggle, looking up at him grinning, “I was just talking.”
He kisses your forehead and whispers to you, “no. You were using that voice you use when you’re desperate for me to fuck you.”
You freeze, looking up at him. He’s looking at you with that sexy smirk on his face, making your stomach flip and clit pulse. God, he’s so hot when he’s doing absolutely nothing, dressed in black sweatpants and a sweatshirt, dressing comfortably for the long day in the studio. You could kiss him, right now.
No, scratch that, you could fuck him right now. You would if there weren’t six other people looking at you.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” you whisper, winking up at him.
He kisses you quickly, leaving you wanting more as he pulls away. “Ready for the next one?”
…
You’ve been here for 8 hours.
Between adding little snippets of your voice, the band recording the rest of their songs, adding background vocals and putting in instruments, it takes a while. And you are tired. So tired in fact that during their last two songs, you fell asleep on the little couch in the studio.
You know this because you’re woken up by a soft voice and a hand brushing your hair out of your face.
“Sweet angel? Hey, baby.” You know it’s Eddie's voice based on the softness and sweetness he reserves only for you.
You stretch, groaning just a little as your joints crack, “m’sorry for falling asleep. Didn’t mean to.” Your voice sounds small and a little crocky with sleep. You cover your mouth as a small yawn slips out, “s’cuse me. I’m sorry.”
He laughs, kissing your free hand, “don’t apologize. We had a long night and early morning. Could’ve gone back to my place and slept?”
You shake your head, “mm-mm. Gotta be supportive. It sounds great and your fans will love it.”
His grins widens, lips meeting your knuckles. He looks tired too and you sort of regret keeping him up most of the night. Well, actually, it was a mutual thing. You’d tried getting him to go to bed but he just ‘couldn’t get enough’ and then when you tried again, while he was still inside you and growing soft, but the second he shifted, you were pushing him on his back and riding him. See, mutual.
“I’m glad you think it’s great, sweet girl. But you won’t upset me if you go home.”
Home. The word clangs through you and makes your head spin. It shouldn’t because he definitely didn’t mean anything behind it. It was his home so of course he’s called it just ‘home’ and you are for sure overthinking it.
You shake your head, both to clear it and to answer him, “no. I can wait. How much longer?”
“Like another fifteen minutes? I just need to listen to that last take and the boys need to add some background stuff. Then we can go.” His thumb is rubbing along your knuckles, his touch soft even if his hands are calloused.
“I’ll wait.”
And you do, this time staying awake. You post some instagram stories, making extra sure to mute it so you don’t spill a single note. Everyone loves the little insights to your time with Eddie, his fans enjoying seeing a different side to him. Of course, your parents still aren’t happy.
You haven’t spoken to them since that phone call. You don’t need their opinions and Eddie has yet to be a bad person when it came to you.
In fact, he’s good at planning dates and making sure no one follows. Blocking the paparazzi from getting unflattering photos of you. Sending you with security if needed. He cares. He cares more than anyone else ever has.
It feels nice to date someone who doesn’t see you as a ticket to their fifteen minutes of fame. Who didn’t look at you as a way to further their own career. Sure, Eddie was more famous than you were, something the press loves to point out. But in some way you were on the same level. It was more than refreshing.
“Ready?”
You look up at his brown eyes and nod, letting him take your hand to help you up, your coat already in his hands.
Once you both are ready to brave the slightly chilly weather, he takes your hand and leads you out. “There’s going to be people out here okay? Just so you're prepared.”
You grin, looking over at him, “I am prepared, Eddie. I know the cost of dat- um, being seen with you.”
If he catches your almost slip up, he doesn’t say anything. He just smirks, squeezing your hand as he opens the doors to the outside. Cameras flash and people scream, you’re practically blinded by the flashing bulbs. It doesn’t last long though, Eddie helping you into the car before getting in himself and closing the door, the sounds of screams muffled slightly.
“God, I love them but the screaming kills my ears,” he presses his finger to his ear, blocking it slightly before releasing it.
You giggle, raising a brow, “aren’t you used to it? You hardly wear your ears on stage.”
It was true. Eddie had this habit of taking out the ears he wears on stage, usually used to help keep beat as most artists can’t hear the music coming from the speakers.
He shrugs, “ya aren’t wrong but I feel like I’m far enough away that the sound doesn’t hurt that bad? I really should keep my ears in so I don’t like lose my hearin’ before I’m 32.”
“Should hear it from the crowd,” you tilt your head slightly. “I had to get little ear plugs after the first time I saw you guys live. My ears rang for a few days after and I was yelling cause I couldn’t hear.”
His eyes get wide, “that sounds awful. I should get ya some custom ears so you can hear what we’re doing on stage.”
That makes your heart flutter a little, the fact that he wants you to hear all they do. “I don’t think I could deal with the metronome ticking.” He looks at you, “how do you know that happens?”
You playfully roll your eyes, scrolling through your phone till you find a post you liked a little bit ago. “This. It’s a video of what Taylor Swift’s sound like inside. It was very interesting.”
He watches it, three times actually. And then he giggles and scrolls, some familiar music starts to play and you already know what he’s looking at. Your face flames as you move to take your phone back. Unfortunately, he’s faster, moving so you can’t grab it from where you sit.
He scrolls again, “you like these edits of me?” His tone is teasing and you feel like you’re going to die. He was never supposed to know you like thrist traps of him, most of them to his own songs.
“E-Eddie give it back,” you plead with him.
But he shakes his head, scrolling again and again and again. “These edits are actually really good. M’impressed. I also think it’s cute you like them.”
You finally reach your phone, tugging it from his hands, “it’s rude to go through someone's phone, Eddie.”
He fake pouts, “awww, are you embarrassed baby?”
You don’t say anything as he coos at you because you are embarrassed that he saw those. But fuck, he looked so fucking hot in those edits. They make you feel things deep inside you, things you’ve used your vibrator to take care of.
He leans forward, his hand reaching out and cupping your chin, forcing you to look at him. “Don’t be embarrassed, baby. I think it’s kind of hot you have those liked.”
He pulls you closer, his lips meeting yours in a sweet, soft kiss. That feeling comes back, the one with a voice that questions why he hasn’t asked you to be his girlfriend yet. It’s been some time and you spend a lot of it together. You don’t want to push him, to make him look at you as needy or too much or annoying. That’s the last thing you want. You’ve heard it enough, from boyfriends, from your parents, from the people in your comment section. And the last thing you wanted was to hear it from Eddie.
He breaks the kiss, his eyes scanning your face. Fuck he knows.
“Are you okay?” He asks you with worry in his eyes. It kind of makes your chest hurt to worry him.
“Oh yeah! I’m fine. Just… tired.”
But, of course, he sees right through it, “no. You’re in your head. Come on… spill it.”
You can’t. You want to express to him how you feel, to ask him to not waste your time. If he isn’t interested in you then you need him to tell you that so you can move on. But you know he is interested, you just sat and recorded bits for their album for fucks sake! He calls you sweet names and listens to what you have to say. He fucks you in a way you’ve never been before. He’s in tune to you and your needs, so the idea he doesn’t want you is absurd.
But… “nothing. I just have that photo shoot coming up and I’m just nervous. It could make or break my career.”
Half truth. You were nervous about the campaign. It could make or break your career if you didn’t do a good job or if people didn’t like it.
He looks like he doesn’t believe you but he doesn’t push you further. You wish he would.
…
Eddie’s lips kiss along your chest, nipping a sucking sweet marks into the skin there. Marking you. Owning you. His hand moving up to tease your breast while his mouth sucks on the neglected one.
His phone is set up beside you, the little red dot indicating he’s recording. It definitely catches the gasp you make as he works your chest, but he just feels so good you don’t think about it.
He asked you six times before hitting record if you were okay with this, him voice recording. And you were, truly. He wanted your moans for his music but wanted some variety in there. So, he’s recording the entire round of sex. You’d be a dirty little liar if you said it didn’t turn you on. The idea that he’ll have this on his phone and in his music. Your moans immortalized on tape? It was hot as fuck.
Eddie swaps sides, eyes meeting yours as he licks and sucks and bites. It hits you right at your center. He was hot as fuck, actually. Looking slightly feral as he kisses down your body. You can’t take your eyes off of his when he settles between your legs, putting them over his shoulders to give him more room.
“God you’re so wet for me, sweetheart,” he runs a finger through your slick, making you moan. “So pretty. Was so hot watchin’ you today.”
“But I-” he licks up your slit, cutting you off what you were about to say.
He sucks on your clit, making your back arch. It was insane to you how well he knew your body. He’s learned every dip, every curve of your skin. He’s learned exactly how to drag deep moans from you with his mouth, tongue and cock. Memorized them. He did it quickly too.
“B-but I didn’t really do anything.” He slips two fingers inside you, stretching you out. “God! Fuck that feels good.”
He doesn’t say anything, just laughs and curls his fingers. Eddie knows exactly what he’s doing, turning your brain off with every thrust of his fingers.
“J-just like that, baby! Oh god, don’t stop.” You can feel the orgasm building deep in your belly, your whole body growing hot as you squeeze his fingers. “M-more. Eddie, I need more.”
He adds a finger, the burn from the stretch feeling incredible. “Thank you, thank you, thank you. Oh my god.” You don’t even know what you’re saying, just a babbling mess. This was typical when it came to the way Eddie worked your body. He’s the only one who’s worked you like this.
Your orgasm hits you, mouth dropping open as your back arches on the bed, “Fuck! Fuck, fuck fuck!”
You ride it out with Eddie’s help, his fingers slowing and his mouth coming off your clit with a soft pop. And when he finally removes his fingers, sucking them between his lips and moaning, you feel empty. You need him to fuck you, to feel him inside you.
“Taste so fuckin’ sweet, baby. Just can’t get enough,” his voice drops a few octaves and you swear your heart stutters for a moment.
“Please…” you whine.
It hits you then that he is fully clothed and you are as naked as the day you were born. The dynamic is hotter than it should be, you might need to talk to your therapist about that. Or not. That’s an issue for another day.
He pulls off his shirt, stomach flexing with the movement, “please what, angel?”
His hands pull at his belt, tugging it through the loops before meeting the same fate as his shirt on the floor. Your tongue sticks to the roof of your mouth and you forget the English language for a moment. He pops the button on his jeans, sliding the zipper down as he waits for your answer.
You manage to find it, “please fuck me. I-I need it.”
He slides his jeans and boxers down his legs, his hard cock bobbing free. You squirm, licking your lips while your eyes rake over him. You need him, need him in many more ways than just sexually. You need him as yours, need him to love you. You can see the life you’d have if he called you his. Your babies would be beautiful thats for fucking sure.
You don’t really have time to think further on it because Eddie slides inside you, his lips meeting yours and swallowing your moans. He tastes like you, cigarettes and weed. An odd mix but you love it anyway.
“Shit, pretty girl. This pussy feels amazing. S’like you were fuckin’ made for me.”
Your heart pounds and you know he can feel it, you can feel his. “I-I was. I was m-made for you, Eddie. Made for you” You kind of don’t mean for it to come out, but it can easily be brushed off as heat of the moment dirty talk.
But there is something in the way he’s fucking you right now, something different. It’s slower than it has been, sweeter. Like he wants to take his time here, like he wants to feel every inch of you. His eyes shine with lust and something else, something he blinks away before you can decipher it. You have a feeling you already know what it is, because you feel the same way.
“Yeah? You think so?” He lets you wrap your legs around his waist, keeping him close. “Think we were supposed to end up here?”
You’re going to die if he keeps talking like this. He’s actually going to kill you. More so because you do believe in the invisible string theory. Everyone can say you’re going too fast, but you think your string is attached to him. Everything about him screams it in confirmation.
“Y-yes. I do.”
He kisses you soft and sweet, adjusting slightly to hit that sweet spot inside you. You gasp into his mouth, hands coming up to his cheeks to hold him there while you kiss him. Again, it’s all slow and sweet and filled with emotion.
“Glad we’re on the same page, baby.”
He fucks you just a little faster, hitting all your sweet spots and making the coil in your belly twist tighter. “I- oh my god, Eddie.”
He laughs, not straying from your lips, “I love when you pray to me.”
Your orgasm takes you by surprise, a deep moan falling from your lips as your velvet walls squeeze him. It makes your head spin and you kind of feel like you’re going to pass out from how good it feels. You don’t, of course.
“That’s it, baby. Such a good girl coming for me. My pretty angel.”
“Y-yours.”
He nods, “mine.”
Mine
Mine
Mine
Mine
The word cycles through your head over and over, making you clench harder around him.
“Fuck, baby. Gonna cum. Fuck fuck FUCK!”
He spills inside you as he moans your name. It’s angelic when he does it and you’re gonna make him send the recording to you immediately so you can hear it again and again. He collapses on you, being careful to not crush you with his weight.
“I s-swear on my life, you’re the best I’ve ever had.”
You giggle, shaking your head, “i bet you say that to every girl you fuck.”
He lifts his head, his face serious, “no. I don’t. You’re the first person I’ve ever said that to.”
You just stare at him, not knowing what to say.
“Did you mean what you said? About us being made for each other?” He asks it quietly, like he’s afraid of anyone hearing him. Anyone but you.
You swallow the lump in your throat. You can do this, tell him how you feel. Right? “I-I did. We fit together so well. Don't ya think?”
Now it’s his turn to swallow, “I do… I meant it too.”
You aren’t sure where this is going, but you hope to whoever the fuck is listening that it’ll go your way.
“You did? You haven’t known me that long.”
He shrugs, “so? You spend every night here, or me at your place. You get to know someone pretty quickly that way.” He laughs a little, pushing some of your hair out of your face.
Ask me
Ask me
Ask me
“I would agree,” you say as you run your fingertips up his arm.
“Would you agree to stay forever if I asked you to?”
You hold your breath and nod. He gives you a look that makes you squeak out a small “yes.”
A huge grin breaks out across his face, bright white teeth showing, “then stay. With me and be mine. And I’ll be yours. No more wandering around lookin’ for each other.”
You blink away the burn behind your eyes, you cannot cry at someone asking you to date them, “n-no more wandering.”

u said ur craving miscommunication fics so i have an idea , eddie x reader , shes such a sweetheart and hes kinda grumpy , he was being bothered by jason and his “goons” one day and she ended up trying to talk to him at the wrong time (max and lucas see from afar) after assuming shes one of them cuz he doesn’t turn around he tells her to go away and never speak to him again or she will regret it. so she accepts it & he’s confused why she stops talking to him and all until max and lucas point out what they saw happen in the hallway
I love this idea
I hope this is what you wanted :)

The dynamic between Eddie and Y/N didn't make sense to anyone. They were friends, but easy to tell they wanted something more. People didn't understand how a friendship formed between the two. He was dark, grumpy, and hated anything and everything. She was bright, happy, and sweet to everyone in her path.
Eddie disliked her at first. He didn't like the bubbly personality she carried and he didn't like the way he smiled around her. She cracked away his dark exterior and turned him into mush. But she was too adorable to ever be rude to.
He let himself be more open around her and she never wanted to leave. Standing side by side the two clashed horribly, but in a way, they made each other happy.
He wouldn't want to admit it, but he was pretty sure he was falling for her. And that scared him. He knew he was a fuck up, and every minute with her was a ticking bomb of when he'd blow it all up.
~~~
Eddie was having a rough morning. He stayed up all night trying to write a song. The lyrics were keeping his mind awake but he couldn't flow the words together smoothly. Once he made it to school, Jason locked in on him. Bothering Eddie with every step he took.
And Jason continued the rest of the morning. His friends joined in, constantly in Eddie's ear. Pushing and shoving him all around. No matter what Eddie did, they didn't bother to leave him alone.
Once lunch rolled around, Eddie was done with the day. He sat alone at a table, far away from hellfire. Craving to have a moment alone.
But, his wish wasn't granted when he heard a voice come from behind him.
~~~
Y/N could sense that Eddie wasn't himself today. She watched Jason and his friends picking on him, constantly bothering him every hour. She wanted to step in but she respected Eddie's past wishes to stay out of it.
His shoulders were slumped all morning, and she just wanted to make him feel better. She always packed extra sweets in her lunch to give to him. Eddie had the biggest sweet tooth, and she loved fulfilling it. The way his big eyes got excited and he practically drooled when he smelled the treat.
She planned to give it to him at lunch but was confused when he never made it to the table. She searched all around the cafeteria, looking for the frizzy curls. She smiled in victory when she spotted him, grabbing the container of brownies and walking over to the table.
"Hey, Eddie!" She announced herself and went to move from behind him to the side of him. But the coldness in his voice when he responded made her think otherwise.
"Listen, do not talk to me ever again or it'll be the last thing you do." He snapped. Never once turning around to look at her.
She quickly blinked away the tears that were filling up her eyes.
"Yeah, Sorry" she quietly whispered, turning around and moving as fast as she could to her lunch table. Feeling embarrassed, she didn't bother to finish her lunch. Grabbing her bag and heading out the hallway, letting her table pick around at the brownies.
~~~
Max and Lucas watched the whole scene as they were walking past. Max was livid at the way Eddie just blew her off. Y/N was effortlessly the sweetest girl anyone had met, and she for some reason liked Eddie. And he quickly just blew his chance of anything more than a mutual crush.
~~~
If there was anyone Eddie wanted to talk to, it was Y/N. But she was nowhere to be found. He never saw her at lunch and didn't run into her in the hallways. He made it a home with the same frown on his face that he left with.
He was hurt that she disappeared from him. Maybe she had a bad day too and needed the space.
Eddie walked into school the next morning, catching Y/N talking to Max. She looked up and caught his stare. She looked away fast, saying something to Max before she quickly left. Max turned to look, and once she saw Eddie she rolled her eyes and followed after her.
Eddie didn't understand what that interaction meant. Why didn't she wave or anything? She just walked away. And Max...that was a pretty normal Max reaction.
Eddie waited until lunch to see if there was any change. Maybe Y/N had a rough morning and wasn't in the mood to be friendly. Eddie's had those days, he understands it.
He sat back at his normal table, secretly missing everyone when he sat alone yesterday. He watched as Max took a seat at the end of the table, Y/N following next to her. Eddie smiled at her arrival but felt disappointed that she sat on the other side. Why didn't she want to sit next to him?
He kept watching her, trying to see if she'll look in his direction.
Y/N felt embarrassed and upset by Eddie's actions yesterday. She thought they were pretty good friends, and liked each other. She doesn't understand what switched within a day. They were fine just the day before, laughing, flirting, and hanging out. He dropped her off and kissed her on the cheek. And then he gave her the cold shoulder and admitted he never wanted to talk again? None of it made sense. Even if he randomly woke up and decided he wasn't interested in her, it wouldn't happen in less than 24 hours.
But whatever happened, it did happen, and he made it clear where they stood.
~~~
Eddie gave her space for around three days. He watched her closely, trying to understand her sudden hostility towards him.
But Eddie wasn't one to read between the lines. He wouldn't figure anything out without asking questions. But he wasn't going to ask her, that was just stupid.
No, he went to Max.
"What do you want, loser?" She spat, throwing books in her locker with the most aggression Eddie has ever seen.
Why did he think she would be nicer?
"What's the deal with Y/N?" He asked, not to waste time. He knew Max wouldn't care for beating around the bush.
"You mean why is she pissed off at you after you treated her like shit?" Max asked, her tone was filled with mockery and her eyes were hard.
"What? When did I do that? She hasn't talked to me since we last hung out and I did nothing wrong that night!" Eddie defended himself
"Um in the lunch room? She came up to give you brownies and you totally blew her off." Max scuffed, slamming her locker shut as the books barely fit.
"She didn't come up to me! And I never heard of brownies so I know I definitely didn't talk to her." Eddie defended again, becoming even more confused with the situation.
"Yes you did! You didn't bother to turn around. Just "don't talk to me ever again!" Max mocked his voice, crossing her arms with an annoyed look on her face.
Eddie stared at her, his brain trying to work through her words. Then it hit him. Y/N was the voice coming from behind him.
Eddie slammed his face into his hands, groaning in his throat as he pulled his face away. Looking back at Max, "I didn't know it was her! I thought it was Jason's goons again." Eddie explained frantically. He never would have talked to her like that.
"Maybe you should learn not to snap at people, then." Max shrugged, not feeling bad for Eddie at all.
Eddie watched as she walked out of school, at least now he had answers.
~~~
Eddie raced to Y/N's after school, stopping at the store for flowers and a shitty card. He parked his van in her driveway, seeing her bedroom light on.
He searched around her driveway, looking for some type of rock.
"Munson! If you throw a rock at this window you'll break the fucking thing" her voice came from the window.
He quickly dropped the rock and turned around. Looking up to see her leaning over the edge. A teasing smile on her face.
"....that's true." He laughed. Seeing her smile eased his anxiety.
"Can I come up?" He asked, she nodded so he headed to her front door.
Once the door opened, he handed her the flowers and card. She eyed him as she grabbed it.
"This is my shitty way of apologizing. I didn't know that you were trying to talk to me. I thought it was one of Jason's friends and I snapped. It was wrong, and you didn't deserve that at all. I want to say I'm sorry. " Eddie apologized, stuffing his hands in his jean pockets as he watched for her reaction.
Her cheeks lifted slightly as she smiled. She opened the card and laughed immediately.
"Whoopsy about my doozie"
"really?" She laughed
"Oh come on! It's like whoopsy daisy! That's funny" Eddie defended, laughing with her as she held her stomach.
"Well I suppose since you did apologize, and picked out the best card in the whole section, I can forgive you." She smiled
"Thank you. I'd never want to make you upset like that. You mean way too much to me." He admitted
"You mean a lot to me too, Eddie. And I appreciate you explaining what happened."
"Of course, I can't have my girl thinking I never want to hear her pretty voice again." Eddie winked
Y/N felt her cheeks burn and hands get sweaty
"your girl?" She coughed out
"Glad you agree, now let's go on a date." He smirked.
"right now?" She panicked, "I'm not dressed for a date!"
"The date is here! Still got a big selection of movies?" He asked, walking past her into the house.
"Yeah! But no chick flicks, Munson."
"Aw man!"

what we started - jude bellingham x reader.
Tumblr media
quick sum: based on this request! while you expected it, you didn’t anticipated it for it to hurt this much. when you’re at you’re lowest is it possible for him to lift you back up? to continue his promise of his underlying love for you? even though he's your brother's best friend?
wc: 4.2k | masterlist | jude’s masterlist
psa🗣️: HAIII!! missed you all! hope everyone spent their breaks and or holidays well spent! here’s a brothers bsf trope fic just bc 🤭 jealous jude and slightly possesive if you squint. bold+italics are lyrics from cool about it by boygenious! i hope you enjoy!🤍
you let out a breath of fresh air, more than thankful to finally get out for winter break. It was a long semester, and don't get started on finals week. you felt like your head would explode any second if you didn't get home in the next hour. no more studying and notes for the next two weeks, just finally getting to sleep in and relax.
the trip home was easy and quick to your surprise, giving you a chance to get some snacks along the way so you could eat while watching a movie later on. you blocked out any noise from outside, listening to the song cool about it by boygenious which played loudly on your phone, was it a good idea even though your head hurt? yes, yes it was.
your eyebrows squinted at the amount of cars parked in the driveway and sidewalk. quickly realizing that your brother's friends and yours were here. you groan inwardly, finally thinking you had a moment of peace but were proven wrong. as much as you loved them, and still a certain individual, you wanted to be alone for the night. just you and your stuffed animals.
before opening the door, a sudden wave of nervousness arrived upon you. your body was telling you to go inside and greet everyone, but then again your head spoke differently and decided to make you overthink. as you reached for the knob you pulled your hand back, was he here? the man you'd avoided since he broke up with you three months ago?
jude. he was all you thought about despite it hurting. he was a forbidden man you couldn't date, made clear by your brother especially. yet that didn't stop you from going to him. to start a relationship that soon went south. not even a year you lasted together. it was all too complicated for you and him. the man you once snuck into your room so you could spend time with, could now be standing inside the door in front of you.
with much bravery and courage, and a little pep talk you unlocked the door and felt the warm air rush upon you. you quickly turned to the rack and took off your scarf and long trench coat, fixing the material so you could avoid the cheers and greetings from your friends behind you. you wiped your hands on your jeans smiling and waving at everyone.
“y/n! you made it!” your friend spoke as she rushed over and almost tumbled you to the ground. “yes i’m here, finally out for the break,” you let out hugging her tight as you still avoided the other faces. you looked around and saw everyone, your heart beating quicker as you locked eyes with familiar brown ones. the ones that taunted your dreams and in real life.
the unwanted memories of when you were together, the first night at the bar where he’d seen you after so long, the sneaking around to avoid getting caught but added a thrill, the late-night kisses mixed with ice cream, going to his home to see his family, and that night he cut things off, leaving you speechless and thinking you were the reason for it. your chest tightened at the familiar memories, blinking away the tears and thoughts of the things that once happened.
met you at the dive bar to go shoot some pool. and make fun of the cowboys with the neck tattoos. ask you easy questions about work and school.
you looked away rapidly, but jude's gaze followed you to where you were now seated on the couch, unable to look away. despite it being only three months, you looked so pretty and beautiful to him, your hair slightly longer than last time, still his y/n. your brother's little sister that he grew up along with. the one he teased and made fun of till he realized that was no longer the case. maturing was realizing that all along it was you that brought out the best in him.
you spoke quietly among with the girls, discussing future plans for the new year, going shopping, to dinner, maybe travel somewhere, and go clubbing to find you a man, your friends words not yours, to which jude clenched his jaw tight. he didn't care if it was only three months, it still bothered him to hear you speak of any man that wasn't him.
jude kept eavesdropping at your conversation with everyone, even though he was playing video games with your brother. “we're so glad you are here! We missed you so much it felt like ages the last time we saw you, since you're either busy with school or alone in your room,” your friend said which made you giggle nervously and play with your charm bracelet.
jude kept quiet but kept sideyeing to see your every move. he knew you didn't feel comfortable, and slightly anxious at the amount of people surrounding you that kept asking you questions. if you were together still, he would have pulled you away from everyone making an excuse to be alone. but that wasn't the case anymore and here he was listening to your quiet and shy voice. “we just ordered pizza and wings. will you be joining us?” ask your friend.
“uhm not tonight. i have plans made already with a uni lad, to go out for celebratory drinks, and i promised him i would go,” you said making your friend let out a small protest, but then gasp. “is he the guy you were telling me about? tall and wavy hair? the finance student?” your other friend asked in a small whisper, to which you nodded slowly and looked away embarrassed.
jude smiled painfully, leaning back onto the couch, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek, then biting the inside of his lip. he was having a hard time controlling his facial expressions, eyes digging holes into you, anger and jealousy washed upon him, fighting the urge to call you out. although he had no right to talk as he knew he had done the same and hung out with other girls. yet jude still felt hurt, sick to his stomach picturing a different man in your life, the urge to scream, to punch a wall, or maybe himself to knock sense into him.
i'm trying to be cool about it. feelin' like an absolute fool about it. wishin' you were kind enough to be cruel about it. tellin' myself i can always do without it. knowin' that it probably isn't true.
you had to lie on the spot, having to accept jax’s invite for drinks. you could no longer stand looking or being in the same room as him. having to feel his eyes on you every minute that passed by. you felt like crying, it was still fairly new to you, but you couldn't even tell your friends because they didn't know about you or jude. You thought you were safe, that you could've handled it, but your body was continuing to process the break up, to hear and see about the girls he hung out with, that looked nothing like you.
you tried to forget, to forget him for the sake of your brother and friend group. however seeing him thrive in another country surrounded by the support you craved angered you. you knew part of the breakup was your fault, for failing to communicate, to be there for him. but what about those times you needed him and he wasn't there? even from the start the signs were there, you just let yourself get involved to finally be happy, to have him, to love him.
but i'm trying to forget about it. feelin' like i'm breaking a sweat about it. wishin' you would kindly get out of my head about it. tellin' myself one day i'll forget about it. knowin' that it probably isn't true.
after grabbing a quick drink from the kitchen you walked upstairs to your room, quickly glancing at jude who had a foul scowl on his face, cold eyes, and grim mouth. you debated whether you should go or stay here. your thumb hesitated to text jax and let him know you were going. yet again your body was speaking and letting you know it wouldn't be a good idea.
you felt so out of place and not yourself, the shock of seeing jude still running through your head. you took a seat on the small bench at the end of your bed, head in your hands as you tried to control your breathing and tears that wanted to release. you let out a small gasp at a knock at your door, standing up and wipe away the one tear that let out, being faced with the man you wanted to avoid.
“y/n…” jude's voice was gentle and soft as he said your name, closing the door and locking it. you ignored him, your hands rubbing your arms as you felt locked in. the world went quiet when he was with you, just the two of you longing for each other. “y/n look at me baby…” his voice rasped out as he walked close to you, but you walked back to create a distance. you painfully laugh and glance up, the lights suddenly dim. “you shouldn't be here, collin can walk in at any minute,” you remark.
and now i have to act like i can't read your mind. i ask you how you're doing and i let you lie. but we don't have to talk about it.
“i don’t care. let him walk in.”
“jude-”
“i wanna talk, please? i know this feels strange, trust me i feel the same, but it's what we need,” jude says in a relaxed manner, making you mad at the audacity he had to demand things. “no it's what you need. trust me i'm fine, more than okay at where we currently stand,” you say smiling angrily. jude cocked his head to the side, becoming slightly agitated. “really? you wanna do this? i'm not okay where we stand, if anything i want to fix this, us, for the sake of our friends,” he spits out.
“you want to come in here, and “try” to fix things for our friends?” you quote with your fingers and scoff, “that's the only thing that ever mattered to you! what everyone thinks, your friends, family, your fans, it's all you care about,” you said loudly, running a hand along your forehead and massaging your temples feeling your headache come back.
“seriously, you wanna bring that up right now?” he looked away laughing, before bringing his attention back to you. you rolled your eyes at his attitude, shaking your head and playing with your charm bracelet once again. this was another reason probably, the constant arguments that you had together that made it not work. “you wanted to talk, so yeah i did bring that up.”
“fine let's talk about jack? or was it jax? the finance student you're going out with tonight? how do you want me to be cool about it? how would your brother feel if i told him?” jude crossed his arms, waiting for you to answer as a few moments of silence passed by. “you're being unreasonable. what does that have to do with our friends?” you asked with a face plastered with confusion.
“for starters, he's going to be around us if you date him,” your eyes widened at his words lips pursing open but continued to listen to him. “i think collin would love to know about this as well. and i wanna know who he is. who is this jax?” jude asked carefully furrowing his brows in a questioning manner, but it made you clench your jaw and swallow the hurtful words that wanted to be spilled.
i'll pretend being with you doesn't feel like drowning. tellin' you it's nice to see how good you're doing. even though we know it isn't true.
“you have no right to ask me anything anymore? you broke up with me remember?” you pointed at yourself as you walked closer to him. “i get what i did wasn’t what you expected but do you really want me to sit here and tell you it doesn’t hurt to see you hook up with different girls? it’s a date jude. a date.”
you grabbed your jacket and sighed in disbelief. you wanted to leave as soon as possible, you loved your friends but right now you wanted to be far from jude. even three months after breaking up, it felt freshly new to see him again. it ripped open the old scars and you weren’t used to it. before you could leave, jude stopped you by the door.
“it’s not fair. i used to beg to get your attention, for you to talk to me! all i asked was to talk! a minute out your day, to tell me how you felt to hear your voice! you think it doesn’t hurt me? to see you move on? to hear from our friends, not from you, OUR friends, that you’re going on a date?” jude spit out with fury, and now you were becoming afraid that your friends downstairs would hear you guys. especially collin.
“we didn’t work jude! you said so yourself that night. you didn’t give me a chance for me to explain myself! you thought of you and only you! i’m sorry i couldn’t give you what you wanted, i tried i did! but you were never there!” you said loudly, the bubble in your throat increasing by the second.
“you never gave me the chance. you always had the mindset my brother would find out about us, and that’s the only thing that mattered to you! we couldn’t go out, and when we tried it was always an excuse for each of us. we weren’t meant to be,” you said without of breath, your heart now beating faster.
“so now it’s my fault?” jude scoffed in disbelief, and threw his hands in the air desperately.
“you’re being ridiculous,” you threw your head back in annoyance, “i'm trying to tell you how i feel about it all. it's what you're asking right? for me to be open with you even though it's too late? we both know jude, i don’t know why you keep wasting your time with me. like you said that night, to you i will always be collin’s little sister,” you say, your voice breaking. jude felt like he would break, to see you crying again, he wanted to take it all back, that night back, and fight for you harder.
“y/n-”
“you’ll never understand what’s its like. to not be able to have your voice heard? to be that child that’s just there? to have so many people come over but greet you because they feel forced to. is that why you dated me, because you felt sorry for me?” you asked, jude immediately shaking his head.
a knock came from the door, you and jude quickly glanced at each other worried, “i’m sorry to disturb, but collin came back from outside and he’s asking for you jude,” your friend said with a low voice, giving you a small smile reassuring you she wouldn't say anything about what she heard. “don’t worry, we were just finished, he’s all yours jude,” you said sarcastically, then walked down the stairs as jude chased you after you.
there was still so much to be said, and he didn't want you to leave thinking he was only with you because of that. it wasn’t true, he was with you because he loved you. not because you were his little sister or because he felt sorry for you, but because for once in his life he finally found someone who brought more happiness to him than anyone else could.
“maybe it's for the best,” your friend spoke quietly to him, patting a hand on his shoulder. jude watched you walk out again from his life, this time you weren't standing alone, but instead with a man who could probably give you all you deserved. although he still refused to lay on these terms, no matter who you were with, a part of you will always be linked to him.
“jude hurry up man! the game is starting soon!,” he was forced out of his thoughts, sending a false smile to your oblivious brother. collin had no idea of the two of you, and never suspected anything which made jude’s guilt rise even more. even after repeatedly saying you were off limits, something about you couldn't keep jude away. he knew it was wrong, to fall for his best mate's sister, but why did it feel so right? like you were the person destined to meet jude?
you wouldn’t even give jax a chance even if he was the last man on earth. despite being the perfect match for you, something inside you always loved jude. you had two boyfriends before jude, and the each taught you something. at the early stages with jude, it felt careless, two rebel teens chasing for love. but you wanted security, and you struggled to communicate that, pushing him away because you could never fully speak it or let it be known.
the so-called date went fine, but your mind kept tracing back to seeing jude after three months, him in your room, his tearful eyes watching you leave to be here with jax. it pained you to see him hurt again because of you again. you also knew it wasn't right to lead jax on, to be here so you could escape the curly-headed man that was probably still at your home.
jax did understand though, a man can always sense when a woman isn't interested, and the last thing he wanted to do was make you feel uncomfortable or forced. after a long shared night filled with laughter and deep talks, he kissed your cheek and wished you the best of luck. “If you need anything, please dont hesitate to reach out, okay?” he gave you knowing eyes, making you laugh an nod.
“thank you once again! be safe! and let me know when you are home!” you waved him goodbye and unlocked the door to your home for the second time that evening. it was around eleven pm, the cars that once filled your driveway were gone. you sighed comfortably at the house being silent, thankful the living room was cleaned, and the kitchen besides the dishes.
you still weren't sleepy, as you were used to being up at this time to review material for your classes. you quickly washed them, and also dried a set of laundry to be fixed in the morning. you went upstairs and took a quick shower with hot water to soothe the aching muscles and headache. after changing into a silk camisole, you get startled by the doorbell. You tuck yourself into the covers like a little kid, reaching for your phone as it buzzed.
open the door for me. i'm outside.
you let out a deep breath, quickly slipping downstairs and opening the door letting jude in who was now wearing a full black nike tracksuit. your eyes stared into his intently, feeling your pulse race just by looking at his handsome features. “you’re back again?” you asked quietly walking back upstairs, jude following behind.
“we didn’t get to finish talking. i didn't want to go back to spain the way were,” he replied closing the door and walked over to where you were sat, on the small bench by your bed. you stared at the ground, as jude rubbed his hand on your thigh in a comfort manner. he let out a deep sigh that made you lean your head on his shoulder.
“it wasn’t true. i didn’t date you because i felt sorry for you. i fell over heels for the woman who once in my life loved me for who i was, and gave me the chance to be who i am without caring. i know it seemed like i cared about others, but all i wanted was to protect you from the harm they could do to us. but in the end it was us who caused it,” jude joked which made you let out a stifled small laugh.
“i'm sorry y/n. for what i said to you that night and those past times. if i could take it all back i would. you didn't deserve that, and it hurts me because i'm the reason for it, “ jude said painfully, he struggled to find the words. you pulled back from his shoulder, walking around to sit yourself on his lap, to wipe the tear that escaped his pretty brown eyes. he had been crying before coming here, his eyes sunken and bloodshot red. “don’t cry jude…”
“do you still love me?” he asked unsurely, biting his lip. he looked up almost taking your silence as a painful answer, but was rewarded with you nodding. “so so much, i can’t not stop loving you and its scary because we both live different worlds. those times where you just wanted a small answer and i couldn't give it to you? i'm sorry for making you feel like that, for not making you feel wanted, i thought… i thought…” you sniffled and broke into a small sob, tears coming down your cold cheeks.
“hey, hey, hey, shh baby it's okay… just take deep breaths… it's just me and you okay?” jude gabbed your hands and kissed them gently, “don't blame just yourself, we both faulted our breakup, it wasn't meant to be then, but now that we learned from that we can avoid it,” he said with a small sad smile.
“when you left again, everything felt unexplored and out of place. i sat by my window and lingered for you to come back, like those times you snuck in here… i took lengthier ways to school to avoid the areas we once walked by. i even ate those stupid gummy worms you love so much,” you said sniffling and laughing. “i can’t do that anymore, because i want you back jude. every second that passed by without you, it hurt me. it still does knowing it feels like were strangers again.”
jude's eyes went wild at your admission, “i get that part of it was because i couldn't communicate, and i'm working on that. you just have to trust me and give me some time, it all felt so rushed and sudden, and i thought you cared about them and not me at times,” you finally said after waiting almost a year to say.
“i will always care about you. when i left that night i knew i made a mistake. i felt like an idiot because i know you struggled at times to say what you wanted. and i know i only thought of me but i promise it isnt going to be like that anymore, baby. as long as we can work and talk it out, that's what matters most to us right?” you nodded to his question.
“no more caring about what they think. as long as were both happy and in love, it will keep me sane. that day will come, but when times right,” jude continued referring to telling your friends and brother. “i hope you know i don't regret a single thing of it, for falling in love with you despite you being my best friend's sister,” he smirked. “good because at the end of the day, knowing its forbidden, it feels right being with you like this. here alone where it's just us…” you say shyly.
“my shy girl still hasn't changed has she? still so shy that she can't even look at me properly when i’m trying to admire her beauty,” jude teased you which made you shake your head. “although she wasn't so shy when she left for jack? or was it jax?” jude frowned. “he’s nothing, just an excuse for me to not see you…” you smiled evilly as you confessed.
“so nothing’s going on with you and jack? or jax was it?” he asked teasingly, making you smack his shoulder playfully. “no now stop i before it does become something serious,” you warn him to which he gives you a taken-at-back look. “not while you’re still mine baby… always have been and always will be. let jack or jax know that, ” jude said seriously, kissing your jawline.
you sunk into his warm embrace, feeling at home and safe in his arms. “who would’ve thought i’d be with my brother's best friend huh?” you say feeling his warm soft lips trace from your jaw to your lips. “definitely not me,” jude said shaking his head no, paying attention to the small shiver you released as he kissed your pulse. you had to hold back the small moan that wanted to release at his next words and movements.
“kiss me y/n. exactly how you want and need.”

@jegulus-microfic january 9, write, 303 words part two, part three
“I don’t want to face the world. I wish I could stay in this bed with you forever,” Regulus groans into his pillow, James laughing quietly in his ear.
They’d met at a bar on Friday night, had spent hours talking over dumplings and singing karaoke before stumbling back to James’ hotel. Friday night had turned into Saturday morning, which had turned into Saturday night, and then into Sunday morning; James’ check out and flight back to Edinburgh rapidly approaching.
“Those could be great song lyrics, you know?” James muses jokingly.
Regulus laughs, “You have my full permission to write them down and turn them into a hit.”
He’s just messing around, of course. James had mentioned in passing that he was an aspiring songwriter, but didn’t linger too long on the topic.
It’s months later that Regulus is drying dishes in his kitchen, only half paying attention to the radio on in the background. He and James have kept in touch, have even caught up again a few times when James is back in London for work. He’d never tell James this, but each time it gets harder and harder to watch him leave, having grown quite fond of waking up in his arms.
He’s reaching up to put the last of the mugs away when his ears prick up at the sound of familiar words, and a mug goes crashing to the floor.
I don’t want to face the world. I wish I could stay in this bed with you forever.
He stands frozen amongst the shards of ceramic as he listens to the rest of the song, his ears ringing by the time it finishes and the radio announcer says, “And that was the newest hit by global sensation, James Potter.”
James Potter. James, his James, is James fucking Potter.

Every Version of You
A reverse harem with three variants of Leon Kennedy and feminine reader.
Tumblr media
An average day, nothing noteworthy. Until someone intercepts you and your partner a week before you’re gearing up to head out for an assignment. Now there’s nothing average about today, nothing is normal anymore. You’ll never understand. Is it time travel? Is his soul broken apart and now manifesting different versions of himself? All you know is that an older version of Leon is here, insisting he had to come back to save your life with the help of a trusted few. And for some reason his younger self from when you two first met and survived Racoon City together is also here. When your Leon is swept away on a mission to rescue the president’s daughter from a cult in Spain, you’re left to try and prevent your coming death with his past and future self. When he returns, how do you confront everything that has come to the surface with the other two? Will you be able to prevent your ultimate demise? It’s going to take every version of him in order to save yourself.

!!!!!!!!MINORS DNI! THIS POST AND BLOG ARE 18+ ONLY!!!!!!!!
PART "CHAPTER" ONE:
“I can’t sing a love song, like the way it’s meant to be.” You belt out the lyrics to the last song you remember playing in the bar before the alcohol completely took over. Despite your words slurring, you did your best to mimic the sultry rock tone of Bon Jovi.
“God, you’re so drunk,” Leon laughs as he tries to keep you up right as you make your way down the dark, city streets.
The only other patrons on this road are other drunks. All of the businesses beyond the bar are closed up and dark. You can still hear the music from the bar thumping in the distance. The late night air is chilly, but you’re too obliterated to take much notice of the goosebumps littering your exposed skin.
“Nooooooo,” you whine at Leon. “You’re supposed to sing the next part. This is a duet, Leon, come on!”
He stares down at you with an amused look on his face. “I’m not doing a Bon Jovi duet with you at 3 am in the middle of the street.”
You pout at him, stopping in your tracks in defiance. He tries to continue pulling you along, but you hold the heels of your feet firmly in place on the cobblestone. The rough texture of the restored downtown district usually pissed you off. You were always tripping over yourself on the uneven terrain, but tonight it’s helping ground you in place. You subconsciously apologize to the ground for all the times you’ve cursed it.
“I can’t sing a love song, like the way it’s meant to be.” You sing the same lyric as earlier loudly, your tone absolutely atrocious.
Leon sighs before finally giving in, replying with the next line. “Well, I guess I’m not good anymore, but baby, that’s just me.”
You squeal joyfully at his rock ballad impression before clinging to his arm again, allowing him to continue guiding you down the road.
You’re practically screaming at this point, “And I will love you, baby, always. And I’ll be there forever and a day, always.”
Leon knows he’s lost the battle. Your drunken mind knows no ration, so he sings along with you quietly. He fights the smile threatening to overtake his face, not wanting to encourage you further.
But it’s too late. When he gave in during your small fit, that was all the motivation you needed to give the city street the performance of your life.
As you continued singing, your hazy mind couldn’t keep track of the lyrics. Leon just shakes his head as you get the words completely wrong.
He stuffs the warm feeling in his chest down, locking it away as he always does. He doesn’t like how endearing he finds you. The way you carry yourself so carefreely. You’re boldly and unapologetically yourself. It’s everything Leon wishes he could be. He never allows himself to think any deeper on the feelings inside of him. Nothing good ever comes from him expressing the intricacies of the branches growing and entwining deeply in his chest.
You’ve got your claws deeply embedded into his person. He has killed for you before, many times, and he will do it again without a second thought. You’re his best friend, his partner, his twin flame, but he refuses to vocalize what you mean to him.
The world is a shitshow filled with unspeakable horrors and ill intent. Boldly caring for anything makes you vulnerable. If you have nothing, then there isn’t anything for the world to steal from you. His life is already overly complicated. He’s merely a prop for the US government. Nothing but a tool, or more accurately a weapon. He’s the weapon they use against bioweapons. A machine that serves its intended purpose and is expected to maintain itself as it sits idly by before it’s needed again.
He finds comfort in this fact somehow. An object doesn’t need to feel or process emotions. It enables him to push down his trauma and function day to day without breaking apart at the seams. If he detaches himself from the physical world enough, going through the motions is a piece of cake. Maybe he’s not living, maybe he’s merely existing, but when he’s with you… he feels everything. He wants to stay in the secureness of being numb, safe and sound within his own walls.
He shouldn’t have agreed to hit up the bar with you tonight. But after being briefed on your next assignment, you needed to be plastered to cope with the new horrors you’d be dealing with. And the truth was Leon cared about you extensively, so he could get through tonight. He’ll drop your drunk ass off at home and then seclude himself from you until it’s time to go on your assignment together.
“Oh fuck,” you holler as you trip over your own feet, exposed knees crashing into the ground beneath you. You hiss at the stinging of new scrapes on your skin.
Leon crouches down and attempts to help you up, but you’re super unsteady as your legs shake underneath you.
“We need to get your drunk ass home before you completely self-destruct.”
You giggle up at him before your eyes connect with his. Your mind goes completely blank as you soften beneath his gaze. This is what it means to get lost in someone’s eyes, it must be. The alcohol running through your system is making it hard to ignore all the pesky feelings you’re able to brush off–to stuff deep down when you’re sober.
What if he leaned down and kissed you right now? What if he finally closed the gap between the two of you? What if he completed those broken pieces of yourself and made you whole again? Finally giving into six long years worth of tension? Your eyes fall down to his plump, wet lips before rising back up to meet his stare. You subconsciously lick your lips in anticipation. Your heart feels like it’s in your throat as the pace of your breathing picks up. Your entire body feels like it’s on fire and you want nothing more than to extinguish the flames, but in the back of your mind you know you want to ignite them further.
Neither one of you break the stare down raging between you two somewhere in the middle of this forgotten street. You could be literally anywhere and it wouldn’t make a goddamn difference. Wouldn’t change a fucking thing. But you know that’s just the loneliness and liquor talking. He’s your Leon, it’s not like that. He’s not like that. You’re not like that. Right?
You’re so lost in one another that you don’t notice the sounds and shifting air around you until it’s too late. While you were lost in your own bubble, you left yourself vulnerable and exposed to the world around you. And it seems the world took advantage of that fact.
Suddenly arms are wrapped around your cowering frame. A hand comes up and covers your mouth, muffling the startled scream tumbling from your throat.
Leon darts forward to pull the person off of you when two men you don’t recognize grab either of his arms and pull him back away from you. His elbows are flying into their sides, his nails digging into their skin. His knees and legs kicking out as he fights to break from their holds on him.
“Don’t make me do this, Leon,” a deep voice speaks to him, but it doesn’t change anything. Leon keeps fighting against them. The man lets out a heavy sigh before swinging his free arm and punching Leon hard in the face, his body instantly going limp at the impact.
You realize you’re crying and whimpering as you shake in the man’s arms. His tight grip on you hasn’t faltered for even a second. You’re powerless, a helpless feeling taking over your entire being. You have no fight in you tonight. You’re too drunk and you immediately regret allowing yourself to be in such a state.
“I’m so sorry.” The man holding you removes his hand from your mouth, but before you can say anything, there’s a stabbing pain in the side of your throat. Your eyes shoot in the direction of his arm, seeing him pulling a now empty syringe away from you. You’ve been drugged. You want to panic, but a fuzzy feeling seeps its way into your muscles and bones. Before you’ve even processed the sudden turn of events, darkness wraps around you like a blanket.
You have no choice but to allow yourself to fall into it.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Waking up feels like you’re trapped underwater. The world is so far away, the only sound surrounding you being your own heart beat thrumming in your ears and the movement of the water flowing around you. Your limbs feel limp, your body weightless. The only thing you can do is allow yourself to sink into it, to embrace the sensations.
But then you begin to open your eyes.
Everything is out of focus, distorted as if looking through someone else’s glasses. You have to force yourself to blink, taking all of your energy to lift your heavy eyelids.
You can’t help it. You let them fall shut again. Even with your eyes closed, it feels like the world is spinning around you, but at least the ache behind your eyelids stops.
You almost give yourself back over to sleep. Almost.
You feel hands gripping your arms, shaking you. You assume the person is trying to wake you up and you try to force yourself up, but your blood feels thick in your veins. That under water feeling growing inside your body as well. The feeling is almost peaceful so you cling to it.
The memories start to trickle into your brain that feels like it’s vibrating inside of your skull.
You shoot your eyes open and look down, attempting to focus your eyes as you force yourself to blink rapidly. You feel so fucking high and there’s nothing you can do other then beg yourself to please come down. Even as your eyes start to focus, your brain feels trapped behind a barrier and you still can’t get any appendage attached to this useless body to just move.
This isn’t working. You close your eyes again, instead focusing on your breathing. In, hold, then out. In, hold, then out. Rinse, lather, repeat. You can feel your lungs expanding and retracting over and over in your chest; the feeling has your anxiety rising.
But it’s finally working. Somehow, some way, the anxiety is awakening your nerves and pushing the drugged out feeling away.
It probably takes twenty or thirty minutes to come back to yourself enough to comprehend what’s happening around you, but it finally does. And what you see has you feeling even more high.
You’re laying on some dingy, old couch. The room around you is dark and dank. It’s somewhere between a basement and a dungeon. The more you look around, the more you think it’s more dungeon leaning.
You slowly manage to sit yourself up, using every ounce of strength you have to achieve it. You take more deep breaths before pushing yourself up, barely managing to steady yourself as you stand and your knees threaten to give out beneath you. More deep breaths and your head stops spinning, allowing you to open your eyes again.
The room is small;  just the couch, a lamp, and a door.
A few shaky paces forward and you’re at the door. Up close, you can see that the old door isn’t closed all the way. Placing one hand on the door frame for balance, you reach forward with the other slowly pushing the door open. And what you see has your head reeling more than the drugs.
This room is much larger than the previous one, the high ceilings nearly three times higher than the previous. Two men stand at a control panel surrounding a large tank of… water? It looks like bubbly, murky, thickened water. Another man stands away from the others, looking lost and out of place in a shadowy corner of the room.
But those are the least concerning elements. What has you screaming out in shock is the man up on the metal platform above the tank holding an unconscious Leon in his arms. It looks like he’s moments from dropping Leon into the mysterious vat of liquid and it has panic overtaking your system.
Every man in the room's attention darts to you at your sudden outburst.
“Oh good, you’re awake,” a man with a thick accent speaks from the control panel.
“What are you doing to him? What the fuck is going on?” You wheeze out. The room grows silent except for your heavy breathing and the weird humming noises coming from inside the tank.
Adrenaline takes over, your survival instincts kicking in as you rush towards the tank, ready to do anything to get Leon away from this death trap.
You throw yourself at the ladder attached to the platform above the tank, ready to do whatever it takes to save him. But large muscular arms wrap around you, trapping your arms at your side.
You kick and scream, anything to break free of his grasp, but to no avail. He’s so much larger than you. Even without the drugs lingering in your system, you’re still not sure you’d stand a chance against him. You’re the damsel in distress, nothing but a sitting duck waiting for your hero to come rescue you.
But the ever dependable hero is in immediate danger, mere feet above his ultimate demise.
“You ready?” The accented man speaks to the man above the tank.
“Whenever you are.” A gruff voice responds from above.
The accented man starts counting backwards from ten as the other man starts to move Leon towards the edge, ready to toss him in like nothing but a rag doll.
You’re screaming, pleading, begging them to stop. You’re in hysterics and all of the men ignore you. No one even bothers to spare you a second glance.
You’re completely helpless. You can’t save him. You’ve failed him as you always do. You know if it was you in his position, he’d have saved you effortlessly. He’d never allow you to die like this. He’d never allow you to die at all, but you can’t return that simple fucking favor.
Please let me be next. Throw me in after him. I could never live knowing I allowed him to die as if he was nothing. He’s everything. If I can’t save him, take me with him. I’ll follow him even in death. What’s a world without Leon Kennedy? I don’t want to know, please don’t make me know.
Your heart shatters as you watch Leon’s limp body fall into the vat of liquid. The man at the control panel flips a giant lever and the liquid glows. The light from the tank is blinding as the man holding you releases you to cover his own eyes.
You’ve always been a coward and you refuse to be as your best friend dies in front of you. You force your eyes to stay open through the excruciating pain burning in them.
But then as quickly as it appeared, the light disappears. The man on the platform has collapsed, unconscious above the tank. And weirdly enough, the man lingering in the shadows has collapsed as well.
You can’t stop the tears as they fall down your face, a sob breaking through your lips as the realization sets in. The tank is empty. Leon is no longer inside.
Did they fucking incinerate him?
You fall to your knees as you shake, your entire body crumbling as the situation truly sets in.
I’m so sorry, Leon. I’m sorry for being such a useless piece of fucking shit. Wherever you are, reach through to me and smite me dead with you. Drag me to the other side with you. Don’t make me stay in a world where you don’t exist.
I’ll never let you down again. I’ll remind you every day how much you fucking mean to me. You can’t be gone. Please don’t be gone. There’s no me without you.
You’ve always been larger than this world, Leon, but it’s nothing without you. The world was never worthy of you, and neither was I. But don’t fucking leave me. There’s so many things I haven’t said, too many things I haven’t said. And I’ll forever hate myself for it.
If your heart isn’t beating, then mine doesn’t deserve to beat either. I’ll rip the fucking thing from my chest to follow you wherever you are now. It beats for you and I think it always has, since the day I fucking met you.
If not this life then I’ll be yours in the next. I won’t be stupid anymore, I fucking swear it Leon.
I love you Leon Scott Kennedy. I fucking love you.
And the afterlife can’t fucking have you. I know you and I know that you can look God in the face and fight, kicking and screaming, your way back to me. It’s not your time. All the time in the world would never be enough time to spend with you.
So you bring your ass straight back here and I’ll fall to my knees, devote my life to you. I’ll pray to you if it’s what you ask of me. You are my purpose and there is no meaning to this bullshit life without you in it.
I never got the chance to properly and loudly love you. Never got the chance to show you I love you. You left this world not knowing how much you were loved. And none of it is right. I’ll burn this world down for you, Leon. I don’t care if you want me to or not. This place will not go on without you. I promise, my love.
If you don’t come back to this world, there will be no world for any mother fucker to ever come back to. No one is more worthy than you and I’ll never allow them to feel as if they are. As if any mortal soul could ever begin to compare.
You’re supposed to stay with me to the end. This can’t be the end. Is this the end? I refuse to accept this ending. I’ll rewrite the whole fucking book until it’s structured around nothing but your happy ending, Leon.
Leon. Not my Leon. I’ve lost you before you were even mine to lose. You left without knowing I’m yours.

Only Our Love
Tumblr media
Pairing: Aemond Targaryen x Reader
Summary: Aemond and his beloved wife are overtaken with the love they feel for each other.
Rating: Teen/Mature
Warnings: Fluff, simp!reader, simp!Aemond, slight sexual themes/allusions to sexual activities (that's why it's rated as mature content, just in case), mentions of past injury, divergence from canon (AU where Rhaenyra takes the throne before the civil war fully starts).
Word count: 2.4k
From the author: This is my first tumblr fic, so I hope you'll like it at least as much as I did while writing it. I was partially influenced by Only Our Love by Tamino. And why wouldn't I? This man's a lyrical genius. I'd write one shots for every single song of his (Amir and Sahar were/are incredibly influential in writing my first-born Of Blood and Fire), it's how obsessed I am with his music. Please, listen to his albums, if you haven't already!

The day you married Prince Aemond Targaryen filled you both with dread and utter bliss.
The dread wasn’t caused by anything that had to do with his person. You met the Prince in your youth, back when he didn’t have a dragon and years later you got to know the Prince better through many letters you exchanged with each other after your reunion at Prince Aegon’s twentieth name day feast. The festivities lasted for a week and you spent most of your visit with Aemond.
You haven’t stopped writing to each other ever since.
Two years went by and you wished terribly to get a letter from him saying that Princess Helaena needed a new lady-in-waiting or that the King summoned your father to the court.
None of this kind came.
Until one that filled your heart with a fear you’ve never felt before, setting your selfish needs aside.
At least for the time being as you’d later see.
The King died and the uncertain time of ‘usurpation’, how people called it, came and wanted for lords to take their sides in the family conflict.
It was in that one letter when Aemond told you that his brother’s council wants him to marry one of Lord Baratheon’s daughters.
You spent that night crying for your broken heart and the fear for your family and the one you grew to love from afar.
Your father chose to support Princess Rhaenyra and as the gods seemed to wield in your favour, this decision saved his life for it was The Realm’s Delight that took the throne after her father, the late king Viserys I.
As the Queen promised, no harm came to her half-siblings and her great-nephews and niece. And, for the houses that swore to her, she gave positions at court and treated them with the utmost respect.
But the most exhilarating gift, in your and Aemond’s opinion, that was given by the new Queen was for the two of you.
After years of exchanging words of affection written and dried in ink, you met again at the official coronation of Queen Rhaenyra and after two months of courting Aemond finally asked for your hand. This was met with a warm approval from your father, the former Dowager Queen Alicent and the current Queen.
It was the first time in his life that Aemond felt something towards his half-sister that wasn’t envy or irreverence caused by years of neglect and indifference. He was grateful for Rhaenyra’s approval of the match, to the point that he let himself leave a swift kiss of gratitude on the Queen’s palm.
There was no denying that day that the second son of Viserys I, who merely moons ago stood on the opposite side of the brewing civil war, would slowly start to let go of the past. Now that he had his beloved by his side.
So, the dread of becoming Aemond’s wife wasn’t elicited by the fear of the unknown caused by lack of familiarity with the Prince prior to the wedding day or, as many at court still tend to point at, his physical appearance, but because of your own inner insecurities that piled up since you received that painful letter.
They would whisper in your ear that you weren’t worthy of becoming a princess to a Targaryen dragon rider and that you would surely disappoint your future husband in any aspect of marital life.
But how wrong those whispers were, now that you are his and he is yours.
Wearing nothing but your love.
Tumblr media
The sun outside the big windows of your shared chambers is setting down and the orange hue covers the carpeted stone floors.
As you reminisce on the past that led you to this peaceful moment, you observe your husband, whose sharp features turned soft because of the warm light of the setting sun and the half-lit hearth of the fireplace.
You both sit on cushions in front of the fire with your backs pressed to the front wooden frame of your canopy bed. Your head rests gently on Aemond’s shoulder as he reads Before the Dragons out loud. You asked him to do it purely out of your desire to get lost in the low timbre of his voice and he complied without any question. You were sure he knew the intentions of your request but he said nothing, only smirked to himself when you kissed him on the cheek.
The silver plates full of fruits of the season and the wine-filled goblets lay abandoned on a breakfast tray between your relaxed bodies.
You feel like the sound of Aemond’s voice could fill you up until your dying days.
You hum or gasp quietly depending on the parts of the book that grab your attention. But in truth the contents of that history book don’t compare to the mouth that lets them out into the air.
For a moment your gaze stays on the shape of his lips, the ones who kiss your own ever so gently or greedily in the heats of passion. The ones that in these last six moons of being married got to know every inch of your body. Making you feel like you were bathing in dragonfire every time they touched your skin.
A shiver goes down your spine at the images the enticing curve of his lips conjures in your mind and you try your best not to let him hear or feel how your breath quickened.
So, your eyes move up to his sharp cheekbone that’s always so soft under your touch. You can feel the texture of his skin there on your fingertips. They twitch in sudden longing to take his face into your hands and caress his cheeks, pouring every loving feeling into it until they’re covered in a blush. You cannot stop the encompassing need to kiss their well-defined edges, to let him know that just looking at his features takes your breath away. Like it does now.
You continue to observe the profile of his face, firmly believing that it was crafted by the Valyrian Gods themselves, and stop at his straight nose. Its strong shape, like his prominent jawline, have been eliciting unholy thoughts since your wedding night and haven’t left your mind ever since.
You bite your lower lip and close your eyes for a moment to collect your thoughts.
Just like earlier, if Aemond noticed anything, he didn’t let you know. He reads slowly and clearly, as if he was giving an important speech in front of the court.
A delicate smile appears on your lips. My dear husband, ever so diligent, no matter the circumstances.
Your eyes flutter at the feeling of his hand on your cheek. And, when you open them, you’re met with his - one violet and one sapphire blue, both glowing in the dimmed light.
“Is my voice so tiresome that you’re already falling asleep, ñuha dōna ābrazȳrys?”
You feel your cheeks get warm as his healthy eye doesn’t move from yours and his warm fingers start caressing the side of your face that wasn’t pressed to his shoulder.
The things you wanted to do to him merely moments ago are done to you by him and your heart seems to try to fly out of your chest, right into his free hand. The book was now put aside on the carpet.
Both of you rest your heads to the frame of your bed and look at each other as if nothing outside these walls existed. Nothing but the two of you.
You take his hand in yours, pulling it away from your face, and press a kiss to its palm.
Aemond takes a breath and moves his head closer to you. So close you can see an uneven reflection of yourself in his sapphire.
“Not in the slightest, my love.” You reply, kissing his wrist next. It’s Aemond’s eyelid now that flutters, making you breathe faster. If that was even possible. “But now that you caught me in the act, I feel like I have to admit to something.”
He hums and settles his gaze once again on your face. A rapt half-smile appears on his thin lips.
You do anything in your power to look away from them. But your gaze barely shifts and settles on his beautifully carved upper lip.
People say that only women can be witches or sorceresses. As it is in their nature to be deceitful with their body charms. And yet, it is your husband that seems to bewitch you in such ways, amongst many others.
Sometimes to the point that you don’t know how to go back from the haze he gets you in. Or perhaps, you don’t try hard enough, simply wanting to stay under his spell as long as it is possible.
It’s always easier to voice out your thoughts to him when both of you are in such a state. And now the mixed smells of burning wood, your rich perfumes and strong wine make the air around you feel much heavier, suitable for slumber. It helps to let one’s guard down.
“Your voice, dearest husband, is the most soothing sound I have ever heard. It makes me feel at peace.”
His eye widens at your words and for a moment he seems to freeze in place. Even his chest doesn’t move as if his heart stopped beating. And then you see the light shade of red covering his cheeks as he lets out the breath he must’ve held.
You take his face in your hands, as you wanted to do while admiring his features, and move your thumbs along the redden skin.
“I would listen to you read or speak every single moment of the day.”
Something flickers in the purple shade of his eye and what replaces the half-smile is the usual smirk he gives you when he discovers something that you find attractive about him.
It takes a great deal of self-control not to roll your eyes at your husband’s instant change of attitude.
“Oh, really?” His voice is lower than when he was reading to you. It brings pools of warmth to the bottom of your stomach, making you shift slightly as you feel it filling you.
This time Aemond doesn’t hide that he notices your reaction. He lets out a quiet and content laugh and brings his forehead to yours, delicately grabbing the back of your head in order to massage it with the circulatory motions of his fingers.
Aemond loves your hair. The way it falls down your back and around your shoulders when you let it down. How it spills around your head when you lay beneath him on the bed. But he finds it most mesmerising when you curl a strand of it around your finger absentmindedly or in concentration. Such a harmless reflex and yet, he cannot take his eye away, consequently filling his body with lustful fire.
The movements of his fingers are languid and for the second time this evening you bit your lip, feeling as if you were floating in the sky.
“It gladdens my heart that you feel so at peace with me, ñuha jorrāelagon. I wouldn’t bear it if there was a time when my presence or my words made you feel the opposite.”
You pull away to look into his eye and as you do it, tears blurry your vision. The sudden wave of emotions that hits you at his confession almost chokes you.
“Don’t cry…” He half-whispers, taken aback by your reaction. His calloused thumbs wipe away the tears that gather in the outer corners of your eyes.
The look in his eye is filled with such affection that the clutch on your heart tightens.
“My heart feels so heavy with the love it carries for you that sometimes I feel like it could rip apart.”
His brows knit together, making it look like this kind of love and devotion pains him, but then he leans in closer and peppers your face with adoring kisses.
One for each corner of your eyes, where your tears almost dripped out of, several across your cheeks, one on the bridge of your nose and then three soft pecks on your lips. So feather-like that you aren’t sure if he truly planted them there.
You open your eyes and you realise that no wine in the world could make you feel as delightfully dizzy as the brushing of his lips do.
Or the way he looks at you in this moment.
You get drunk on the sight before you.
He then dips his head down and interlaces his fingers with yours.
You both admire how perfectly your hands complement each other and feel the goosebumps appear on your skin. As if you held hands for the first time.
“I have never felt strong enough to admit it.” He starts, his voice a bit hoarse. “To myself. Or even to you, ñuha jorrāelagon. Especially not in the letters. But… I’ve never felt to be deserving of the love you just described. So heavy it cannot be contained.”
You swallow slowly feeling your throat tighten with another wave of overcoming emotions at the vulnerability your husband is showing you.
“Not until the day I met you.”
Aemond looks at you again. His fingers wrap around yours and squeeze gently. You respond with the same gesture, letting him know that you greatly appreciate his confession.
“Your letters were a solace I hoped I had when I lost my eye but particularly during the pending time of its healing.”
You remove your right hand from his grasp and gently put it on the scarred side of his face.
Aemond leans into your touch without hesitation. Gladly basking in the warm softness of it.
He could spend forever being held by you in this way.
“You are my solace. The only consolation I’ll ever need.”
With your trembling hands you pull his face closer until your noses brush and you kiss his soft mouth with aching adoration.
“As you are my comfort. The only one I’ll ever need.”
You both smile against each other’s lips and hold onto your faces tightly as if letting go would make either of you disappear suddenly like a morning fog.
As you put your head back on his shoulder and Aemond resumes reading of the momentarily forgotten book, the fire of the fireplace has almost gone out and the sun slowly hides itself behind the water horizon.
You didn’t lie when you told your husband that his voice brings you peace. It soothes your senses and the effects of it are immediate as you drift away with each word that passes his lips.
You feel his arm wrap itself around your waist, pulling you as close to him as the small food tray between the pair of your legs allows him.
The last thing you hear before you fall asleep in his secure embrace is Aemond’s gentle whisper.
Only our love suffices me, my love.
Only our love.

word count 2.2k
a/n 📝 wooo, Vee finally popped her Javi cherry. testing the waters with this one, I also have a couple prompts from a while back to still write. it is based on a Becky G song, yes I know she and this song did not exist back in the day (I think? Idk what year she was born tbh) but ANYWAY I just really like the lyrics and plus it’s fiction so who cares lmao. Translations at the end ✨

Tú no me creerás, pensarás que hay algo más
es difícil de entenderlo, pero no sería capaz de enganãrte
y si te lo cuento
es porque tengo muy claro lo que siento
It was half past one o’ clock in the morning—you had told Javier you’d be home by midnight at the very latest. But a night out at one of the more popular clubs in Bogotá celebrating a close friend’s birthday meant that none of the girls were going to allow you to leave that early without giving you some kind of shit about it, so you had stayed just a little while longer and tossed back another drink or two before finally calling it a night. Your friends still gave you grief about it, but knowing Javier, he would be worried, especially since cartel violence in the region had begun to escalate over the last several months, worsening to the point where Javi didn’t even like you going out to the produce market all by yourself in broad daylight.
You tried to be as quiet as possible as you pulled your keys out from your purse, fumbling around with them in the dark until you’d finally found the right one to unlock the front door of yours and Javier’s shared apartment. You slipped inside and the moment that you did, the lights flipped on, causing you to whirl around and let out a startled little yelp.
You turned to see Javier standing there, fully dressed in his jeans and a tight red button up shirt with his set of car keys clutched in hand. “Javi,” You breathed out his name as your hand flew to your chest. You shot him a glare. “Jesus Christ, you scared the hell out of me! What in the world are you doing? Why are you dressed—do you have any idea what time it is right now?”
“Do you have any idea what time it is right now?” Javier retorted, raising an eyebrow at you. Part of him seemed to be upset, but the other part of him seemed more relieved than anything. He tossed his keys down onto the small, hallway table and walked over to you, taking your face between his large hands as he kissed your forehead. He let his lips linger on your skin as he reminded you, “You told me you would be home by midnight, amor. You can’t tell me that and then come home almost two hours later. You know how bad things are out there right now. You could have at least called me to let me know you’d be late.”
“I’m sorry, I know. It’s just that the girls were shoving shot glass after shot glass right into my hands and time just got away from me,” You said, placing both of your hands right over his. Your eyes met his dark brown ones and you flashed him a sincere, apologetic look. “I’m really sorry I didn’t call. I didn’t mean to make you worry, Javi.”
He sighed. “Well, you’re home safe now. That’s all that matters to me.” Javier dropped his hands from your face and led you into the living room. “Can I get you anything, baby? Are you thirsty?”
“Actually, I’d love a glass of water,” You admitted, kicking off your black, high heeled shoes before dropping down onto the supple, brown leather couch. You watched him as he padded over into the kitchen. “I didn’t get as drunk as I thought I would, you know.” You added jokingly, “I think my tolerance for tequila is through the roof now.”
Javi laughed as he pulled a glass from one of the kitchen cabinets; he then filled it with water from the jug he’d pulled out of the refrigerator. “But you still had fun, right?”
“God, I had so much fun,” You told him with a grin. “I danced all night, Javi.”
“With who?” He’d asked the question casually, but you could detect the seriousness behind it.
Your smile faded slightly.
At first, you hadn’t planned to tell him. But Javier was the love of your life, and you would never dare to keep any kind of secret from him.
Still, you knew he wouldn’t be all too happy with what you were about to confess.
Javier walked back over to you, handing you the glass of water. He frowned, noticing the hesitant expression on your face. “What is it?” He placed his hands on his hips, peering at you curiously. “You didn’t dance with any guys, did you?”
“Just one,” You admitted, softly.
Javier froze a moment, his shoulders going rigid.
“What?” Through gritted teeth, he demanded to know, “Who?”
The moment your ex boyfriend’s name fell from your lips, the color drained from Javier’s face. “Are you fucking kidding me right now?”
Setting the glass down on the table beside the couch, you quickly jumped up and held up your hands in defense. “Wait a minute, before you get mad about it, just let me explain—”
“What the hell is there to explain?” Javier nearly growled at you. “That you went to some nightclub and danced with another man? One who happens to be your fucking ex-boyfriend? Es en serio?”
You went up to him, placing a gentle hand on his arm. “Javi, please. Just wait one second—”
He snatched his arm away. “Don’t touch me!”
Your heart sank and you backed away. “Really? You’re not even going to let me explain myself?”
“There’s nothing to explain,” Javier replied coolly. His eyes flickered up and down, giving you a quick once over from head to toe. “I would have never thought that you would be such a—”
Javier stopped himself, knowing all too damn well that he was far too angry to think clearly before letting anything come out of his mouth.
But it was too late.
He could see the hurt that flashed in your eyes.
“Such a what?” You crossed your arms over your chest, the blood in your veins running frigid. You then raised a knowing eyebrow at him. “Such a whore?”
“I didn’t say fucking that,” he muttered, averting your gaze.
Blinking back the tears that burned your eyes, you roughly shoved past him and went straight into the bathroom. Trembling, you began looking for a clean washcloth so that you could start taking off your makeup.
The sound of the front door slamming violently just a minute or two later caused you to wince.
Certain that Javier was gone, you sank down onto the cold white tile and began to sob.
Tumblr media
A couple of hours later into the early morning, you were sitting on your bed in nothing but one of Javier’s shirts.
You had cried and cried, releasing your emotions until your eyes had gone dry.
You’d hoped Javier would come right back home and talk things out with you, but by the time four o’ clock rolled around, you had given up on that hope. Letting out an exhausted sigh, you were just about to reach out and switch off the lamp on the nightstand next to the bed when you heard the sound of the front door opening and then closing.
You swallowed harshly as the sound of his footsteps approaching drew closer and closer.
Javier walked into the bedroom, looking surprised to see you sitting there, still awake at this hour. He spoke in a cold tone that let you know he was still upset with you. “I thought you would be asleep by now.”
Even from where he stood, you could smell the heavy stench of cigarettes and scotch all over him.
“I was waiting up for you,” You murmured, quietly.
Javier kicked the bedroom door closed behind him and let out a long sigh. He said nothing else to you as he kicked off his tan boots and began shrugging out of his shirt, tossing it aside.
“Where were you?” You asked him, your small voice breaking through the silence.
“I needed a drink,” he responded curtly with his back to you.
“We have drinks here, you know.”
“Yeah, well I needed something a lot stronger than what we’ve got.”
Finally, Javier had no choice but to turn around and face you.
The second he did, a fresh tear slipped down the side of your face.
Javier’s stomach sank deeply and the expression on his face immediately softened.
“Bebe—”
You lifted both your hands to your mouth, muffling a broken sob.
“Hell, I’m sorry,” he apologized as he walked over, taking a seat beside you on the bed. He reached for your wrists, gently tugging them away from your face. “Baby, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to get so upset at you, alright?”
“Do you really think that of me? Do you think that I’m a—?” You’d said the word once, but couldn’t find it in yourself to utter it again.
“Of course I don’t, mi vida. I was just angry, I wasn’t even thinking.” He paused, noticing the way you were trembling and reached up to cradle the side of your face in his palm. “Put yourself in my shoes for a second. Wouldn’t you be angry at me if I came home from a late night at the club and told you I had danced with one of my exes?”
“Probably,” You admitted, feeling the envy boil in your lower belly as you thought about him holding another woman in his arms. “But I would have at least given you the chance to explain yourself. I mean, have I ever given you a reason not to trust me, Javi?”
Javier opened his mouth to speak, then clamped it shut.
He’d fucked up.
“Well?” You prompted him. “Answer me, Javier. Have I ever done anything to make you think that you can’t trust me?”
“No.” His hand dropped from your face. He spoke again, guilt lacing his tone. “You’ve never given me one single reason not to trust you.”
You let out a small, shaky sigh and brought your knees up to your chest, wrapping your arms around them. “He was at the club with his friends tonight,” You began to explain to him. You noticed the way Javier stiffened slightly; although you knew he didn’t want to hear about how you had danced with your ex-boyfriend, you decided to continue on anyway. He needed to know. “He came up to me and he said hello. We had a drink together and then he asked me to dance with him.” Unable to help yourself, you let out a small breathy chuckle. “We danced to quite a few songs, actually. It was just like old times.”
Javier’s jaw clenched, his hands curling into fists.
Before he could say anything, you lifted one of your own hands to stop him. “He was a great guy, Javier. We had a good relationship, but it just didn’t work out. It wasn’t meant to be. When we broke up, it was amicable and we wished each other best and now, a couple years later, we both have the best. He’s with someone he loves and I’m with someone that I love too.” You offered him a tiny, watery smile. “I don’t have eyes or space in my heart for anyone else but you, Javier. Seeing him again and dancing with him tonight made me realize that I would never even dare to think about jeopardizing our relationship. I love you more than anything, and I would never do anything to betray you.”
He stared at you, mouth agape.
Oh, he’d definitely fucked up.
Before meeting you, Javier had never been the kind of man to do relationships—because he’d never known how to do relationships.
Before you’d walked into his life, all Javier knew was meaningless sex with escorts and informants, one night stands with coworkers—regardless of who he fucked, he had always been able to walk away the following morning without any sort of attachment. It’s what he wanted, or at least, it’s what he’d thought he wanted.
And then Javier met you.
You weren’t the type of woman who he’d normally set his sights on. You didn’t walk around almost naked like half the women in Colombia, you didn’t smoke, you rarely ever even cursed and only drank when your friends pressured you into it—you had this kind of sweet innocence written all over you, and normally Javier would never look twice at a woman like you because a woman like you looked for a boyfriend; not a fuck buddy and certainly not a one night stand.
Javier Peña had never been boyfriend material.
He didn’t know how to be in a relationship.
At least not a healthy one.
Even now, he struggled to be the partner that you deserved. He met your physical needs without a single problem, but your emotional needs were something of a challenge for him. Still, Javi loved you with every fiber of his entire being and he was more than willing to keep on trying to be the man you needed him to be in every way possible.
“I’m sorry,” Javier murmured again after a while. He reached out, placing his hand on your bare thigh. “I am so sorry, baby. Perdoname, preciosa. Please.”
You placed your hand on top of his, giving him another little smile. “Of course I forgive you, Javi.”
Relieved, he leaned in, pressing his lips against yours. As he began to deepen the kiss, his hands reached out, tugging at the hem of his shirt were wearing.
“Javi, it’s four in the morning,” You giggled against his lips.
Javier chuckled. He pushed you back against the pillows and swung his leg over to climb on top of you. “When has that ever stopped us before?”
“True,” You grinned up at him before pulling him down towards you for another kiss.

After all the hard work you put in, it was finally starting to pay off all the sleepless nights, the days you didn’t feel like getting up and recording or writing, all the times you’d spend cuddled up in your boyfriend’s arms crying to him cause no matter what you did, you never felt like it was good enough.
It was all finally over, and with the help of your loving boyfriend being with you every step of the way and cheering you on from the sideline, you had finally been signed by a label, and you recorded your very first single.
You and your boyfriend, heeseung of seven years, held hands as you listened to your song play on the radio for the first time since your official debut. You both sang along softly to the lyrics, and he turned to glance at you with a fond smile cherishing this beautiful moment with his most favorite person in the whole wide world.
He wiped the few tears that trickled down your face with his thumb while the last few seconds of your song played. “I’m so proud of you. I knew you’d make a hit. I never doubted you for even a second” His soft voice comes out in almost a whisper as the song comes to an end, and the soft piano fades out.
You grabbed his hand that was placed on your cheek and brought it to your lips, pressing a gentle kiss to it. “I couldn’t have done it without you,” you tell him sincerely. You can’t even remember how many times you had just thought about quitting, but he never let you cause he believed in you when Nobody else did, and he reminded you of that every single day.
He pressed the button, turning off the radio in his beater that had been getting him to point A to B for the last four years, and pulled out a green velvet box from his jacket. “And I could have never done this thing called life if it wasn’t for you” He smiled with tears gathering in his eyes. You were literally his everything since the day you met at the restaurant he worked at. He remembered the day clearly. It had been unusually busy, and order tickets were stacked. Unknowingly, he accidentally cooked your steak rare instead of medium rare once the waiter brought the food back and told him it was wrong. He felt terrible for messing it up. He took his job very seriously, so he prepared what was probably the best steak he’s ever made and specially hand delivered it to your table, apologizing over and over again before scurrying off back to the kitchen about twenty minutes later, his heart sank when the waiter called his name, he thought he had messed up another order. But he breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the words the waiter spoke. “Table number 7 said that your steak was the best she’s ever had and wanted to thank you for your hard work with a one hundred dollar tip” For the rest of the hectic night, heeseung worked hard with a smile on his face, and when he saw you come into the restaurant a week later, he knew then, and there you were the one, it was like you somehow knew he was having the worst day of his whole career and like magic, you came by and made it the best by giving him the tip of a lifetime and he just knew from that day on he needed you in his life and even though he was on the clock he made sure to get your number while sneaking you a special dessert (one that wasn’t on the menu)
You teared up once again when you saw him open the box as he held your hand from across the beat-up dash in his car. “Heeseung,” you said in absolute awe.
“Y/n, you’re my whole world, and I’m so lucky to have you in my life and to be able to call you mine. Words just aren’t enough to express how I feel about you,” he said with a shaky breath, the first tear finally rolling down his cheek. “And even though I tell you every day, I just want you to know that I love you, and I’ll never stop loving you. It’s been a really tough past couple of years for us, but I wouldn’t want to spend those years with anyone else 'cause Nobody gets me like you” His lips upturned into a small smile when he saw the surprised look on your face. "I know I'm not perfect, but I promise I'll love and take care of you until the end of time" He turned the small box showing you the ring. It wasn’t big, it wasn’t fancy, and the diamond wasn’t the size of a rock, but it was enough for you cause you knew he was proposing to you from his heart, and no ring could ever compare to the amount of love his heart held for you. “I’m so proud of you, and I’m so happy that I have someone as special as you in my life” He smiled as more tears cascaded down his pretty face. “So,” he looked at you with nothing but pure love and adoration in his eyes, and with one last shaky breath, he popped the question. “Will you marry me?”
You sat there in silence, unable to understand how you were so blessed to have your debut song played on the radio and the love of your life proposing to you all on the same day. Without a doubt, this was definitely the best day of your whole entire life, and you’d never forget it, not in a million years.
He felt his heart drop the more seconds that passed, and you didn’t say anything after a while. He took your silence as apprehension, so he tried to reassure you that he was the one for you. “I-I know your parents aren’t fond of me, and I need a new car, and I need to buy a house, bu-“You cut off his rambling and kissed him. He kissed you back immediately without any hesitation.
“Yes, yes, heeseung a million times yes!” he chuckled breathily and grabbed your shoulder across the cup holders bringing you closer as he locked lips with yours.
You pulled away, leaving just the tiniest gap between the two of you. “I want to marry you. I don’t want anybody else but you, and I don’t care what anyone thinks about you cause you’re all I’ll ever need” He leaned his forehead against yours, his warm breath tickled your nose as he distanced himself from you, and took the silver diamond embedded ring out of its little box.
His hands were shaking with nerves and excitement, and so were yours as he slipped it onto your ring finger. “I love you so much” He held your hand in his, tracing the ring with his thumb as he smiled at you.
“I love you too” You squeezed his hand and squealed in excitement.
He rolled down the window, and you looked at him in confusion cause it was literally cold and raining outside. “She wants to marry me!” He screamed proudly out the window catching the attention of the people passing by, some smiling and others giving him weird stares, but he didn’t care. He just wanted the world to know that you were his now and forever.
“Oh my god!” You giggled and cupped your hand over his mouth.
He grabbed your wrist and guided your hand to cup his cheek as he smiled widely. “My fiancée,” he leaned in to kiss you some more, and neither of you bothered rolling up the window, too lost in the moment and the softness of each other's lips to care about anything else.

Everything was going great since the release of your hit single you and heeseung finally got some free time and were now cuddled up on a small couch in your studio apartment, currently talking about your wedding and everything you should get and who to invite.
“I’m going to make sure our wedding is perfect. I promise” He kissed the crown of your head, holding you just a little bit tighter.
“We should get little mini me’s, and you’s on our cake” His chuckle filled the otherwise silent apartment, and it made your heart melt. You loved the sound of his laughter. No matter how bad of a day you had, his laugh could always make it all better.
“That would be cute,” he said as he envisioned it. He could see everything slowly coming together the more and more you both planned and talked about it.
You looked up at him and pecked his lips sweetly. “I was thinking about planning it for this summer,” he said a little reluctantly. He knew it was soon, and he didn’t want you to feel pressured, but the timing to him seemed perfect.
“Really?! I always wanted to get married in the summer since I was a little girl,” you said as you felt the excitement rising.
“Then I guess that’s settled,” he says with a smile as he plays with the ring on your finger.
You both sigh in contentment, enjoying each other’s company until the loud ringing of your phone breaks the peaceful moment.
“I’m not answering that,” you say, snuggling up closer to your fiancé and hugging him tighter, not wanting to leave his warm, comforting embrace for one second.
“But baby, that might be Steve. You’ve been waiting on him to call for a while now,” he says, knowing how badly you’ve been wanting to get an opening gig, and this phone call might just be you finally getting that chance.
It’s a good thing you had heeseung cause he was always the logical one out of the both of you.
He moved his hands off of you, allowing you to take the call. “I’ll be waiting” He smiles at you softly.
You finally get up to answer it, and he was right. It was your manager, Steve, and as exciting as the news was, you couldn’t have gotten it at a worse time.
You hang up and trudge back over to heeseung, who was patting his lap with a tired smile on his face. “Was it him?” He asks excitedly as he wraps you back in his arms again.
“Yes,” you mumble into his chest.
“I take it the news wasn’t any good…” he muttered with a sad tone.
“The news was great” He leaned back and looked at you, confused.
“Then why the sad face?” He asks while stroking your cheek.
“I got invited on tour to open up for a well-known group, and they said I’d gain a lot of experience and a bigger audience.” You explained.
“What?! Baby, that’s great news! I’m so happy for you!” you knew he’d be excited for only a moment before you broke the terrible news to him.
“It’s a summer tour, and it’s this year, and we were going to have our wedding in the summer this year….” You said sadly, and you watched his smile lessen until it was nothing but a frown.
“Oh….not great” It was silent for a few minutes before he was being the heeseung you knew, always trying to turn a bad situation into a good one no matter how terrible the circumstances were. “Look at me, love. I’m not going anywhere, okay? We can have the wedding next year” He cupped your cheeks and made you look at him, smiling at the little pout on your lips. “And besides, this is your career we’re talking about. Sure, I would love to call you my wife and be your husband, but you know what, I would love just as much?” He asked with a smile.
“What?” He squished your cheeks and kissed your pout away, replacing it with a smile.
“To see my fiancée living her dream and performing in front of millions of people after knowing what it took to get here, seeing you perform for the first time on stage, will be the happiest day of my life.”
Tears had welled in your eyes, and not a day went by where you weren’t grateful for him. He always knew just what to say to make you feel better.
He was literally perfect.
He wiped your tears before they got halfway down your cheeks. “No more crying in the studio,” he said as his voice cracked slightly. “We’ve done enough of that already” He released a heavy breath while hugging you tightly in his arms.
“Yeah, okay,” you whispered and smiled past your tears. “I love you so much I don’t know what I’d ever do without you.”
“I love you too, and don’t even think about it cause you’ll never be without me.”
You held each other in silence, enjoying the rest of the time you had left until the tour started.
Tumblr media
You had been preparing everything for your upcoming shows rehearsing over and over again to make sure everything was perfect. After all, this was your first time performing on stage, and it had to be nothing but the best, no less.
“Baby, you’re going to do so good,” Heeseung startled you. He had been watching you from afar after quietly entering the studio with the spare key that you had made for him on your one-year anniversary. He had just got off of work and came to the studio after cooking you both dinner before he left the restaurant.
“Hee!” You squeal, taking off your headphones and running over to him, peppering his face with kisses.
“Hello to you too, baby,” he chuckled and set his bags down before picking you up and kissing you as you instinctively wrapped your legs around his waist. “You miss me?” He said on your lips, teasingly swiping his tongue along them.
“I always miss you,” you whined into the kiss, and his hands moved down to your butt, squeezing it as he groaned from the feeling of your plump lips pressing against his.
After a hard day of work, feeling your lips on his was nothing short of heaven.
“Me too,” he released a breath and opened his mouth, letting your tongue explore every inch of him, but before you two got too carried away, he broke the kiss and set you back down after pecking your lips one last time. “I made us dinner,” he smiles, and you can see the exhaustion all over his features even though he tried his best to hide it, but nothing could get past you. You’ve known him for 8 years. “It’s been a while since you left the studio, and we had a date, so…” he let go of your waist and picked up the bags he brought, pulling out a bottle of your favorite wine.
“I took it upon myself to bring the date to you” He wiggled his eyebrows with a goofy smile.
“What did I do to deserve you?” You hugged him by his waist.
He set the bottle down and copied your action. “Oh, I don’t know,” he pretended to think. “But if I had to say, it’s probably because you’re the best person to ever walk this planet, and you deserve nothing but the best.”
You couldn’t believe it even after years. He could still make you feel butterflies with his effortless compliments.
“I love you so much. Did you know that?” You ask, playing with his little cravat.
“I do, but If I didn’t, I know you’d just remind me every day anyway” He pecked your forehead. “I hope you’re in the mood for steak,” he says.
“I’m always in the mood for steak,” you smile brightly. That was the first meal you both shared on your first date together. Of course, you’d always be in the mood for steak cause it always took you back to that wonderful day.
“That’s my girl. Now go sit your pretty butt down while I get your dinner.”
“No, I’ll do it.” You insist. “You just go sit and rest, okay?” You could see he was hesitant at first, but he quickly gave in cause his feet were killing him, and he was more than exhausted from picking up extra hours.
“Fine, but just this one time” He took his chef jacket off and hung it up at the door.
“That’s my boy,” you say, mimicking his words from earlier with a smile. As soon as he turned around, you took the opportunity to pat him on his butt.
“Y/n!” He squeaked and spun around, looking at you in shock. You’d never done that before. “What was that?” He asked, and you could see him blushing.
You just shrugged with a smile, and you would definitely be doing that a lot more from now on to see his cute little reaction.
During dinner, you both chatted about your jobs and how he’d been working late shifts and taking extra days.
No wonder he looked so tired, you thought.
You guys weren’t together as often as before with all the preparations you were doing for your tour. You didn’t get to keep up with the happenings, so when you did get together, the last thing you wanted was to talk about work, but luckily tonight, you both had the night to yourselves to talk about any and everything. “You should take a break, babe” He shakes his head slightly, dismissing your comment drinking the last bit of wine from his glass.
“I can’t. With the wedding coming, I need as much as I can get, you know that baby, plus I still need to save for a new car,” you just sighed.
“Hee, I make enough money for the both of us now we can live comfortably, so why do you insist on working?”
“Cause it shouldn’t be that way!” He raised his voice in frustration, not with you but with himself. “I’m supposed to take care of you, and I can barely take care of myself. Your parents even said it I’m a deadbeat that's no good for you, so to change that, I have to show them that I can provide for you that I can provide for us.”
As soon as he said that, you knew this was about way more than just making money, and he was dealing with more than he was letting on.
You pushed the empty plates aside and sat next to him on the couch, looking at his apologetic face. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to yell, okay baby? I’m just a little stressed. Lately, that’s all” He put his hand on your knee, squeezing it softly. “I won’t do it again,” he promised.
“I know, it’s okay, hee” You rubbed his back soothingly, and he closed his eyes, exhaling a deep breath. “Lay back” He looked at you confused, but when he saw you weren’t saying anything else, he laid back slowly with his head on the armrest of the sofa. “Feet up” He did as you said and placed his feet on your lap, but he was still skeptical of your motive. “Just close your eyes and relax,” and he did, too tired to question your intentions anymore.
A low hum settled in his chest as you slowly massaged his feet, rubbing the balls of each calloused foot.
You gently pinched his heel and rubbed it up and down, adding slight pressure to soothe away any aches and pains. “That feels….” He trailed off, not being able to find the right word to describe how good it felt. You chuckled lightly and continued massaging him.
Your hands trailed up to his long legs, rubbing the taut muscles of his calves.
He felt shivers all over his body from your gentle, loving touch.
You moved to his thighs as you felt them tensing under your palms. “That feels good,” he breathes out, and you smile as a warm feeling spreads across your chest as you watch him start to relax the more you caress his tired aching body.
“Turn over for me” He quickly flipped over and rested his cheek on the backs of his hands, waiting on your next move.
You put your hands under his shirt, gliding your fingers all over his back. “I know that you’re stressed, and I know you’re dealing with more than you’re telling me” He tensed up when you said that, and you sighed. “I just want you to know no matter what, I’m here for you, so don’t stress yourself out too much, okay?” you could instantly feel him loosening up again from your reassuring words, and it warmed your heart that you could be of assistance to him when he was feeling low.
“Okay, thank you, love,” he whispered, and that’s all you needed to hear from him right now. You were going to let him open up to you when he was ready.
“You have so many knots” He chuckled loudly at that but winced when you pressed down a little too roughly to massage them out. “Sorry,” you said in a tiny voice.
“I think since you hurt me, you should make it better” You rolled your eyes playfully even though he couldn’t see you. You lifted up his shirt and leaned down, placing a few kisses there as his breath hitched in his throat.
“Better?” You asked.
“Much better” He squeezed onto the cushion under him, eyes rolling back in his head, and he might have been enjoying this a little too much as he felt himself getting more and more turned on by the second.
After successfully working out the knots in his back, you told him to roll over on his back once more. “Ooh, what’s next?” He said giddily.
“I’m glad you asked,” you smirked. “Take off all your clothes now,” you said sternly, and the look on his face was completely priceless as he was trying to register what you had just said.
“What? W-why?” He laughed awkwardly and avoided eye contact with you. “I mean, a-are you sure? I haven’t even had the chance to showe-“
“Less questions, more doing” He stood up and quickly got rid of his shirt and pulled down his zip before dropping his pants.
“Those too,” you said after looking at his cute, questioning face.
“Okay,” he whispered and took a deep breath feeling overwhelmed by your sudden boldness as he freed himself from the tightness of his boxers, his dick standing up right away from how hard he had already gotten.
You bit your lip at the sight of him. Even after eight years, he still managed to amaze you in every single way.
He laid back down on the sofa as you sat between his legs, gulping loudly while watching you run your fingers over his tense abs.
He put his hands behind his head, biting on his lip softly when you kissed his thighs, and somehow, just that little bit was enough to make him impatient.
“Baby… I’m really sorry, but I don’t think I can wait” His dick twitched at the same time the words left his mouth. As much as he wanted to see what else you had in store for him, he’d have to find out another time cause, right now. He couldn’t wait to feel your mouth around him.
“Don’t apologize, baby, just relax tonight is all about you” You kissed his tip, a string of clear precum creating a connection between your lips and his pinkish tip.
You licked his warm shaft running your tongue along the protruding veins. “Shit baby, you always know how to make me feel so good” His stomach was tensing with every wet lick and swirl of your warm tongue.
Wordlessly you locked eyes with him and took half of him in your mouth, bobbing your head up and down slowly.
“Oh fuck” he whined, eyes rolling back in his head immediately. It had been a while since you and him both got to spend intimate time together and just being like this with you after so long was like a dream come true.
He really missed this. He missed the feeling of your loving touch, and he missed being able to hold you and kiss you and tell you how much you mean to him in the privacy of your bedroom.
You used your other hand to stroke what couldn’t fit down your throat, and his moans increased in volume as he impatiently bucked his hips up, gagging you when he did so. “Sorry, it just feels so g-good,” he moaned, chest heaving up and down as he opened his eyes and stared down at you sucking him nearly all the way in while your hand made its way to his balls, cupping them gently just the way you knew he liked. “That’s it, love, just like that.”
You hummed around his shaft as he slid further down your throat till your lips were stretched around his thick base.
He moved his hand from behind his head, stroking your cheek lightly, before placing it on the back of your head, not to guide you but just so he could feel closer to you. “I’m so close,” he whispers shakily while feeling his tip hitting the back of your throat as you hallowed your cheeks.
Seconds later, you could feel his warm liquid invading your mouth and trickling down your throat. You kept your head still as he bucked his hips up and unknowingly gagged you again, causing you to tighten up around him. “Fuck baby,” he releases a low growl as you feel the rhythmic pulsating of his cock on your tongue.
You sucked him through his high, careful not to hurt him, knowing how sensitive he always was after cumming.
He watched you pull off of him as he caught his breath. He cupped your cheek with his palm and wiped the remaining cum off the corner of your lips with his thumb. “That was wonderful,” he chuckled breathlessly.
You smiled at him and leaned down again, kissing his abdomen to his stomach and all the way to his sweaty chest, stopping and swirling your tongue around his perky nipple while your free hand flicked the other hardened nub.
His little whimpers turned you on like crazy, but you ignored your pleasure cause right now, everything was about him and him only, and besides, his pleasure was your pleasure anyways.
He clutched onto your shirt tightly as you switched to his other nipple pulling it between your lips gently.
You could feel him arching up into you as he hugged you tightly to his body. “Y/n fuck, I need to feel you now,” he cried out, and you knew when he said it like that, he meant right this instant.
“I’m all yours,” that’s all he needed to hear, and then he was leaning up and taking you in his arms to the shower as you sucked and kissed all over his beautiful neck.
Tumblr media
After your intimate time in the shower, he ran a bath for you both.
He was lying in the tub with hazy eyes, slowly stroking your shoulders and drawing random shapes on your skin, occasionally covering you with the suds from the bubbles he added.
“I’m serious, you know?” You brought up the conversation from earlier, and you heard him sighing behind you as you clasped your hand with his. “Just think about it for me, please?” You scooted closer to him, and he held your waist with his other hand.
“What exactly are you asking me to do, baby?” he kissed your neck sensually, and you tilted your head to the side, giving him access to nibble and gently bite your skin.
“I’m asking you to quit,” you put it simply as you reached your hand behind you and pulled him closer by his neck as he sucked even more hickeys on your skin.
“You know I can’t do that,” he mumbled, too occupied with kissing you to respond with a longer explanation.
“You can and you will. I can’t stand seeing you so tired, hee, you know that”
“I know, I know” He moved his head next to yours and spoke lowly into your ear. “Okay,” he caved in, but he knew you were right. He could work for ten years straight for seven days a week, but if he stayed at that dead-end restaurant, it still wouldn’t be enough to give you the life he wants you and him to have.
“Don’t worry about a thing. I have us, okay?” You reassured him, and it would be hard for him to accept that for a while but with you, he knew everything would be okay.
“Okay,” he nibbled on your ear lobe, using the tip of his tongue to lick the shell of your ear. “Well, since I’m now jobless, I think I have an idea of what to do with all this free time.”
“Yeah? Tell me all about it.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll tell you everything when we get to the bedroom.”
You chuckled, blushing at his little insinuation. You knew neither of you would be getting any sleep tonight.
Tumblr media
“Morning, my love,” heeseung whispered in the quietness of your bedroom.
“Morning,” you greeted him back groggily with your morning voice.
“Last night was great” His smile reached the corner of his eyes, creating those little wrinkles on his face that you loved so much.
“It really was” You brushed some hair out of his eyes and stroked his cheek.
“What are your plans for today, Hmm?”
“Recording, recording, and more recording,” you sighed.
“Right,” he frowned. He wasn’t taking this time apart well at all, you were literally his everything, and without you, he couldn’t help but feel like a piece of him was missing. “Don’t worry too much, alright?” he kissed the hand that was resting on his cheek still. “I heard you last night. It was beautiful” He kissed your forehead sweetly.
“Really?” You asked with puppy eyes.
“Really” He smiled but frowned when you got out of bed.
Your eyes had landed on the clock, and you were almost late for your studio session today. “On no, I’m gonna be late” You rushed out of bed and messily grabbed some clothes.
“I can drive you,” heeseung offered, about to stand up, but you pushed his chest so he could lie back down.
“I’m gonna be gone till midnight. My schedule is completely packed. You just rest till I get back, okay?” you kissed him when he tried to protest, and he just flopped back down on the pillows.
You quickly did your hair and freshened up in the bathroom. “Bye, babe,” you said before bolting out of the door, not even giving him a chance to say it back.
“Bye, I love you,” he mutters to himself. “What am I gonna do now?”
Tumblr media
Heeseung did absolutely nothing all day but sleep until he felt the bed dip down as you wrapped your arms around his waist.
The clock read 2:17 am, and his heart ached for you as he hugged your tired body closer to his chest. “Goodnight, love,” he whispered to you.
“Night, hee,” that’s all you could say before you both fell fast asleep.
Things went like this for the next couple of months, you coming home late, and heeseung was left at the apartment alone, and lately, the tension between you and heeseung grew over just the littlest things. You both had been exhausted him emotionally while you physically, and when he took it upon himself to clean your desk in the studio cause he was bored, that just opened the door for an argument to ensue. Although that was far from his intention, he just figured instead of being lazy while you were out winning the bread, he could at least surprise you with a tidied up workspace.
But apparently, that wasn’t as good of an idea as he originally thought.
“I don’t understand why you would even touch it,” you say, annoyed you had come back early from rehearsals, and nothing was the way you had left it, and now you couldn’t find your lyric sheets. “Can you do anything right?” You said irritatedly.
“Love, I’m sorry I just wanted to do something nice for you, that’s all,” he mumbled, feeling guilty that he messed up your things. “I put it in the top drawer with the rest” He could have sworn he did.
“If you want to do something nice for me, you can get out of my sight. I leave soon, and now I won’t have time to pack or practice cause you had to do something stupid,” you snapped.
“I can pack for you,” heeseung offered.
“Don’t bother. You’ll probably just mess up something else.” You angrily leafed through all the scattered papers. “Useless,” you mumbled, but he heard it loud and clear.
That was it. He wasn’t going to stand for your behavior anymore. It’s fine if you’re irritated. He understood that, but he wasn’t going to allow you to disrespect him.
“Stop!” He raised his voice at you, and you flinched. He took long strides over to your desk and pinned you against it with his large frame pressing your back into the knobs on the drawers that dug into your flesh as he stared down at you, and his heavy breath fanned across your face. “Don’t talk to me like that ever again.”
You stood still, heart beating rapidly in your chest. “I-I’m sor,” you muttered with fear in your eyes, and his expression softened a bit, but he still remained stern.
“I put those fucking sheets together. It was you that moved them” He pressed his lips onto yours, roughly taking your breath away from his hard tone yet soft touch.
He separated from you momentarily and stripped your shirt off, leaving your top half fully exposed from your lack of a bra. He squeezed your breasts roughly, and you moaned into his mouth as his tongue swirled with yours.
You moved your hands from the desk pulling his shirt up, and he smirked into the kiss, moving back so you could pull his shirt off, leaving his dark hair messy atop his head. “Hee,” you whimper.
“Be quiet” He pushed you roughly into the desk, rutting his hardened bulge against you. “I’m gonna get rid of this bitchy attitude of yours” Never ever has he talked to you like that before, and for some reason, you kind of like this new side of him. The thought of him putting you in your place excited you.
He stuck his hand in your shorts, palming over your mound and grazing your clit with his palm.
You threw your head back and moaned loudly as he zeroed in on your neck, leaving sloppy wet kisses behind your ear, decorating your neck in red marks that would be a deep purple by tomorrow.
He took his hand outside of your shorts and pulled them down around your ankles. He kissed you as best as he could while he pulled his pants and underwear down, the jean material pooling at his feet. “Turn around,” he ordered and shoved your face against your stupid work desk. “If you’re gonna apologize, you better do it right,” he smacked your ass harshly. “Say it!” another loud smack bounced off the walls in the small studio. “Why so quiet now, hmm? Just a moment ago, you weren’t shy to call me useless” He stuck his fingers in your wet cunt without warning, pumping them in you roughly.
“Fuck!” Your legs were already shaking as you tried to hold yourself up by placing your hands flat on your desk. The brutal pace of his fingers was mind-numbing as you helplessly clamped down around his digits.
“Cause you know I didn’t fuck up your stupid little lyric sheets, is that it?” He slapped your ass again, completely unforgiving with the strength of his harsh smacks.
Now that he mentioned it, you did remember seeing them earlier, but you don’t know where you put them, and you were too full of yourself to admit it. “I don’t k-know,” you lied.
“Sure? Cause I think you do” He slowed the pace of his fingers gradually until he came to a sudden pause. “If not, then I guess I was wrong” He smirked behind you, pulling out his fingers that were sticky with your essence and sucking on them greedily.
You were still bent over, clenching around nothing and trying to back your ass up to feel him and have him touch you in any way, but he didn’t.
“Guess I don’t need to fuck the attitude out of you after all,” you heard his belt rustling behind you, indicating that he was going to pull his pants back up and leave you bent over, unsatisfied and still aching for his cock.
“No! Please, I’m sorry it was me I-I moved them,” you admitted embarrassingly. “I’m sorry.” You whimpered.
He turned you over and lifted you on top of your desk, messing up everything he had just cleaned and organized. “Say it like you mean it” He stared down at you smirking at how needy and desperate you looked as you spread your legs wide open just for him.
He rubbed his leaking tip between your legs, coating himself in your wetness as you held onto his waist for support.
You kept your lips sealed, but after a minute of his heavy cock gliding across your pussy and teasing your clit with his wet tip, you couldn’t take it anymore. You needed to feel him.
You were going to apologize again, but thankfully he had mercy on you and pushed it inside, stretching you out with his big tip.
However, he didn’t have mercy on you like you once thought cause he stayed still after that, not moving even an inch.
“Please, hee, I’m so sorry. I’ll never say anything like that again,” you begged with tears almost in your eyes.
“I know you won’t” He pushed in all the way without warning, splitting your pussy open on his dick as he nestled deep inside you. “I’m gonna make sure of that” He put his hand on your throat, choking you lightly as he slammed into you, his hips colliding with your thighs as fast clapping noises filled up your studio. “The only thing you’re gonna be saying when I’m done with you is my name,” he grunted loudly while plowing into you ruthlessly, not bothering to even let you adjust properly.
“Heeseung,” you choked, barely able to speak from his grip on your throat and the brutal pace of his hips as your walls squeezed around his dick. “Fuck” you moan.
“Not so useless now, am I? I feel your little pussy sucking me right in.” His hips stuttered a bit, feeling you clench on him even tighter from the filthy words he spoke to you. “Open up that dirty little mouth” You did as he said, opening your mouth wide for him.
He spat in your mouth while fucking into you faster. Your fucked out state was making him go completely animalistic the longer you stared at him, and you were unable to speak cause how good he was doing you. Finally, after months, you were finally paying attention to him and only him in this shitty little studio of yours.
His swollen balls smacked against your ass. You spread your legs wider trying to feel every inch of him even though he was already buried to the hilt inside you and kissing your cervix repeatedly with his tip. “Nothing to say now, huh?” He teased, loving how you looked at him with your watery eyes, mouth full of his spit as you let him take you raw on your precious work desk.
He moved his hand from your neck, and his saliva trickled down your throat. You swallowed every last drop of it, eyes rolling back when his hips snapped into you, roughly jerking you back and forth on the desk.
You choked out his name as best as you could but stopped halfway when he rubbed your sensitive bud that was pulsating and desperately in need of his attention.
“Gonna cum already?” He chuckled and bit his lip, eyebrows clashing together as he slid in and out of you. “So much for me not being able to do anything right” His eyes flickered down to your breasts that were sloshing from his vigorous pace, and just the sight and the sound of your squelching pussy each time he rammed into was enough to have him mere seconds away from coming.
“Yes, hee,” you dug your nails into his waist while biting your lip. “I’m so close.”
He winced from the slight pain, but that only brought him more pleasure. “Cum on my cock, baby,” he circled your clit with his thumb, sending you to your breaking point as you came around his cock with silent cries of his name. “oh fuck!” He moaned loudly as he came from the tightness of your pussy clenching around him so deliciously, filling your insides with his warm cum.
He leaned down, locking his lips with yours, tiredly thrusting inside you as he finished at the same time with you.
He touched his sweaty forehead with yours breathing heavily as his legs began to feel numb.
You cupped his cheek and brought him in for a short but passion-filled kiss. “I’m sorry, hee,” you apologized again for lashing out at him. You truly felt bad. “It was all my faul-“
“Shhh, don’t worry, love. I understand. Let’s just forget about it and get you cleaned up. You had a long day” He pulled out and picked you up off your desk, as multiple sheets fell off of it. It was the ones you were searching so frantically for. “I’ll pretend I didn’t just see that,” he chuckled, and you hid in his chest.
“Thank you,” you muttered shyly as he walked you to the bathroom.
“Are you okay?” He asked once you got in the shower and cleaned you gently with his hands. “I didn’t hurt you anywhere, did I?” He looked at you with worry in his eyes. He knew he had gone rougher than usual due to his own frustrations at the time.
“No baby, you could never hurt me,” you assure him.
“Okay,” he whispers and kisses you slowly as he trails his hands up your sides, and you wrap your arms around his neck.”
“I love you, hee” You rested your head on his chest, listening to his calming heartbeat as the warm water from the shower cascaded down your bodies.
“Of course you love me,” he giggled, and you smiled. “I’m still going to pack for you, too” You tried to protest, but he just pushed his index finger to your lips. “And I love you too” He hugged you close and cherished what time was left before you had to go on the road.

Unfortunately, as easy as it was to make up after your first couple of fights with mind-blowing sex, now it just wasn’t that simple.
Especially after your schedule kept getting packed as the tour date was approaching, and now you had no time to talk things out cause you were too busy either working or sleeping.
And luck wasn’t on your side today either, as you and heeseung were in your tenth fight this week.
“All I’m saying is that I miss spending time with you. I don’t even get to see you anymore. You’re gone when I wake up. You don’t call or reply to my messages” He rubbed his temple in frustration. “I mean, I wake up at three in the morning to an empty bed, and you can’t even at least answer my calls. I’m just worried about you, baby, that’s all” He tried to hold you, but you didn’t have time for that. There were only a few hours left before you had to go, and here he was, trying to patch things up before you went away for a whole three months, and you just didn’t have the time for him right now.
“I work late, and you know that. I don’t see why you can’t just leave me alone. I have to put my phone on mute 'cause you just won’t stop texting me” You were haphazardly throwing some extra stuff into a suitcase.
“Well, If you’d just answer, I wouldn’t have to keep texting,” he scoffed. “Didn’t know it was a crime to fucking miss my fiancée.”
“How can you miss me when I see you every day?” you argued.
“Yeah! And that’s it, you just see me, you don’t pay attention to me. We haven’t talked in weeks. I only see you running out in the morning. It’s been months since we’ve touched and made love, and I miss you so fucking much. You don’t understand. It’s always so quiet and lonely when you’re not here” He lowers his head and picks at his nails nervously. He hated having these arguments, and he hated that he was having them with you the most.
“You knew this was what you were signing up for” You didn’t know what came over you to treat him so roughly, but he was just wearing you out lately. You had more important things to focus on, and him whining like a baby wasn’t on that list. “I can’t babysit you all the time. Maybe if you did something other than sit home all day and wait for me, you might not feel so lonely,” you spat without even looking at him, completely missing the hurt look that took over his features.
“You’re the one who told me to quit my job, and as soon as I did, you just disappeared from life and acted like you don’t even know me,” he answers with anger laced in his voice. He couldn’t believe the audacity of your words. Him quitting his job was literally your idea.
You sighed. You didn’t have any more time for his nonsense right now. “Well, I don’t care anymore. Go get a job, fly a kite for all I care” You had no idea that you were crushing him to pieces right now, too busy wrapped up in your own world that you forgot he was the reason why you were even here in the first place. “My parents were right about you. You are a deadbeat” You laughed pathetically, letting the stress of the situation go straight to your head and saying any rude thing that came to mind.
You somehow felt like it was justified for you to say such things cause right now, he was the one being hard-headed, not you. He knew you had more things to worry about right now, and he just wasn’t one of them. “I know what it is. You’re just trying to hold me back. I’m this close to my dream, and you just don’t want to see me happy.”
“What the fuck are you even on about?” He did his best to stop his voice from cracking. “I was with you every step of the way. I was there for you when no one else was. I gave you my all 'cause that’s what you deserved, I wanted you to succeed more than anyone else, and you know that” He paused for a moment to compose himself. “But now I’m not so sure anymore” The first tear rolled down his cheek, and he hated it. He hated the fact that, for the first time, he was crying alone. You were no longer sharing pain together now. You were the ones causing it for each other. “I literally fucking proposed to you 'cause I love you. I never would do anything to hurt you or our future.”
“Ha! Love? I’m sure you just were trying to tie yourself to me and use me for my fame.” Little did you know it was you who let the fame get to you. You allowed yourself to feel higher and more important than anyone else, including your own fiancé.
He let out a shocked gasp at your words. For the first time in his life, he was left speechless.
For the first time, he didn’t recognize you as the girl who gave him his first and only hundred-dollar tip.
He saw you as someone who lost their way along the road and forgot where they came from.
This wasn’t the y/n he fell in love with.
As devastating as it was for him, he just couldn’t see you two getting over this. It had been months since you started treating him this way, and It was just too high of a mountain to climb, no matter how much he wanted to be there for you. You just weren’t letting him, nor were you there for him. The last months have been nearly insufferable. He had no idea how much your career would impact the relationship, but the last week has shown him that your job was more important than him, and if he wasn’t your number one anymore, what was the point of all this fighting and suffering just to call you his fiancée?
It wasn’t worth it. Not anymore. It wasn’t.
He couldn’t do this anymore for the first time in the eight years he’s known you. He put himself first. “Since work is more important than us, you can have fun with your new relationship,” he mumbled as his voice finally broke while slipping the ring you got him off his ring finger and setting it in front of you on your desk. “Hopefully, your career can give you more than I ever could,” he turned away, leaving you speechless.
Why couldn’t he just see that you had a life to live? Why couldn’t he just understand your point of view? You thought.
He went to your bedroom and gathered up his stuff quickly. You watched him walk out the front door without looking back, and it was only after he shut the door did you regret everything that had just happened.
The silence crept up on you slowly but surely, and you were still in shock that he was actually gone eight years down the drain in the blink of an eye.
But it was too late now.
You said things that couldn’t be taken back, and even if you apologized, you’re not even sure that would erase all the horrible things you’ve said and done to him in these past months.
You wanted to forget everything and run after him so he could take you back into his arms, but you were scared to, so you foolishly let him go.
Cause If you were him, you wouldn’t take yourself back.
Tumblr media
It had already been a year since your tour, and your career had skyrocketed beyond what anyone could have ever expected.
Except for one person.
Heeseung.
He always believed you could do anything. “I was there for you when no one else was” Those words rang in your ears over and over again as tears rolled down your cheeks. You looked down at the city view from your penthouse. “Fuck!” You screamed into the night sky, slamming your empty wine glass on the cold cement.
You tried to forget him, but every time you did anything, he took up every little crevice of your brain, and no matter what, you couldn’t escape him.
Even when you went on dates to try to get over him all you could think of was him, and the late nights he came to the studio bringing the date night to you (as he called it) with his very own cooked steak and your favorite wine.
The one relationship you were in after him (if you could even call it that) was a complete total disaster, and you were stuck dealing with a deadbeat. All he did was complain and tear you down. Criticizing your every move, He never gave you any support, and he was only interested in how much money your next show would net so he could bum off you.
He wasn’t even half the man heeseung was when he was with you.
You stayed with him for months cause you felt like that’s all you deserved, but after you found out that he cheated on you, you quickly broke things off with him.
Not cause you actually were hurt, or you cared about him, but you refused to associate yourself with a person like that.
You sighed at the memory.
Since that train wreck, you looked countless men in the face and turned them down every single last one cause no matter what, you could never get over him. Every time you looked at a man, you could still only ever see heeseung’s face.
All you could think of was heeseung 24/7, and no matter what, he always treated you with the utmost respect. You didn’t always agree with things, and you both had your fights here and there, but he was the first one to apologize and talk things over, always willing to understand your side no matter what.
You missed him so bad you cried yourself to sleep countless nights thinking of what you could have been if you hadn’t been so careless with your words and so dismissive of his feelings. If you could go back in time, you would reverse everything. You wouldn’t even think twice about it.
You couldn’t help but daydream about him coming to your concerts and being your number-one fan, and celebrating your first show together with you. You just know that he would have been so happy for you, and those would have been the best moments of your career, without a doubt.
But if you were being real, you deserved less. He should’ve never been the first one to apologize for all the times you fought. He should have never been made to feel like less cause you put your career over him cause he definitely wasn’t. He was worth more than any career in the whole entire world.
But now, all you could do was hang on to the little bit that was left of him.
You took his engagement band with you everywhere, and you never took yours off except for during interviews, so you wouldn’t raise any questions. You know you should have, but you just wanted to keep everything that made you hold onto the memories of when you two were together and happy.
Some nights, you just wanted to call him and tell him you wanted him back and you didn’t want to see him with anyone else but you, that no one else made you feel the way he did, as selfish as it was, you just wanted to tell him you wanted him to be yours again.
Cause no matter how hard you try. You just couldn’t let him go.
As you stared at the empty bottle of your favorite wine on your nightstand, even that reminded you of him, and like every night since your break up, you cried yourself to sleep.

Heeseung was back at his old restaurant job. Luckily for him, he left on good terms with everyone, and they were happy to have him back cause he was by far the best cook and worker there.
He was currently cooking and serving up dishes, frantically rereading order tickets to make sure he got all the orders correct.
It was only when he hit the bell and yelled, “Order for table fifteen,” that he heard an oh-so-familiar voice. He looked up at one of the TVs in the top left corner of the restaurant, and he was captivated by who he saw.
After a year, he remembers all the lyrics to that song, and he remembers reciting them to you a few weeks before your tour. That was one of his favorites from you.
Heck, all your songs were his favorite.
It was one of the first songs you had ever written. It was about how you two first met.
He couldn’t help but smile as he watched you live your dream. As much as you hurt him, he still just couldn’t forget about you. He tried to go out a little and find someone new, not to replace you but to move on, but that quickly came to an end when every time he even looked at a girl, all he saw was your pretty face.
Yeah, you said some really terrible things, but he knew deep down you didn’t mean that it was just a hard time for you both, but he knew things wouldn’t have worked. That’s why he didn’t go running back to you after all this time apart. He had done some thinking, and though he couldn’t see it right away, he knew your guy's breakup was inevitable.
Apart of him wishes, he didn’t walk out on you that day, but what would have changed? You were too busy for him. There was no longer a slot for him in your busy schedule anymore. He chalked it up to the right people wrong time.
Call him whipped. He didn’t care cause no matter what, you’d always be his girl, and he’d always be your number-one fanboy.
He sang along as he watched you fondly on the TV. He knew you had what it took to get where you are today. A doubt never crossed his mind when he first saw you perform. He knew you were made for it.
As you held the last note of the song, he held his breath, not blinking even once so he could capture this beautiful moment and store it in his heart forever. What could he say? He was a very sentimental guy.
Unknowingly he clapped for you while all his other co-workers were bumping into him and shouting his name so he could get back to work.
“That’s my girl” He smiled proudly as the camera panned back and showed thousands of people in the crowd supporting you.
“In your dreams, kid, now stop daydreaming about a girl that doesn’t even know you exist. I need five more steaks, medium rare” His boss patted his shoulder lightly.
“Yes, chef!” Heeseung answered while wiping his hands on his towel before preparing fresh steaks for all the waiting customers. “If only he knew,” heeseung whispered and smiled to himself.
And if only he had of looked up for just a second, he would have noticed the camera do a close-up of your face and give him a clear view of his engagement band hanging off the dainty chain that you wore around your neck every performance.
Tumblr media
As much as heeseung wanted to ignore it, he couldn’t. The billboards were literally everywhere, and he’s not sure if he was zeroed in on them just because it was you or if it was that you were really just that popular that your world tour was marketed on literally everything.
Though it didn’t much matter anyways cause he still saw it, and he had already purchased a front-row ticket to see you live in his city, one that he may have bought on resell, and he also may have spent his months' savings to get it.
He wasn’t stalking you, but he knew you had moved out some time ago after randomly hearing people chatting about you, and he might have watched a couple of your interviews from time to time just to see how you were doing.
Sadly, you never mentioned him in any of them, but why would you? You both literally broke things off a year ago. You probably didn’t even think about him anymore, or maybe you did, but he couldn’t really say.
Of course, he thought of calling though he wasn’t sure why exactly but whenever he did he reached the dial tone it didn’t come as a shock he knew when you moved you changed your number too, but it didn’t stop him from ringing a few times maybe it was just out of habit.
The idea of seeing you after all this time made him extremely nervous, but he just needed to see you one last time in person just to get the last little bit of closure his heart yearned for after missing you for a whole year.
Tumblr media
Your nerves were going absolutely crazy. You were about to take the stage in five, and no matter how many shows you had done, this one definitely meant the most to you cause it was in your hometown. It was where everything began.
More importantly, it was where you and your favorite person met and got engaged.
You grabbed his ring, bringing it to your lips and kissing the silver band softly.
You thought back to everything that happened, and you knew no matter how things ended, heeseung was somewhere, and he was proud of you.
That’s just the type of guy he was, never one to harbor any malice in his heart. He was the true definition of an angel.
“On in two,” You heard in the background of your thoughts, and with that, you wiped your tears before straightening out your clothing and taking a deep breath.
“You’re gonna do great,” you muttered to yourself.
That’s what heeseung would have said if he was here right now and if you didn’t have that knowledge, you’re sure you wouldn’t have been able to take the stage.
You looked at the crowd from behind the curtain, and your heart sank even further. As shallow as it sounds and as dramatic as you were being, you couldn’t help but think this is what you traded heeseung for. This is what you gave up the love of your life for.
As you were lost in the thought, the final minutes passed, and before you knew it, you were going up on stage as the crowd roared for you.
Tumblr media
Heeseung had been pacing back and forth on his lunch break. Today was the day of your concert, and he was chickening out. He got called into work today on his day off and deemed that to be more important than seeing you.
That’s what he tried to convince himself of, but he knew it was just him being a scaredy cat.
Your concert must have been on for at least an hour, and he had to drive at least half an hour to get to the venue.
Without thinking or notifying any of his co-workers, he got in his same little beater and sped off to the venue as fast as possible.
He may have been honked at, and he may have honked back, but after running at least two red lights and changing lanes without his signal, he was parked in front of the venue, hearing the music blasting throughout the arena.
He dashed out of his car and thanked whatever higher being that was out there cause, luckily for him. They haven’t shut the doors yet.
He got a couple of weird looks as he made his way through the crowd, still in his work uniform, but he didn’t care as he nearly tripped while trying to find his seat, row 1, seat 7. What coincidence, he thought you sat at table number 7 the night he first saw you, and now he was sitting in seat 7 the first time he saw you perform. “Lucky number 7,” he said and smiled.
Once he found his seat, he looked up from his ticket, and his heart nearly stopped as he heard the last bit of your latest song.
His mouth parted in awe, and in the moment, he wasn’t sad and thinking about your breakup. He wasn’t going to see you to try and win you back.
He just wanted to watch his baby perform in front of thousands in your guy’s hometown, just like you and him always talked about always dreamed about.
Once your song ended, the lights dimmed, and you went backstage to change your outfit, getting ready to sing your unreleased song.
It was something special you had prepared just for this stop in your hometown.
You knew it would only break your heart even more to do this, but you had to. It felt right.
You changed into the same outfit the day heeseung proposed to you, looking at yourself with a forced smile in the mirror. You prepared yourself for your final song.
The loud cheers were drowned out by your seemingly never-ending thoughts today. The concert was everything you dreamed of and more it’s just too bad that Heeseung wasn’t here to see how far you’ve come.
You just wished you hadn’t said what you said and did what you did. It was selfish and hurtful, and you can’t imagine what he must have felt like. He literally sacrificed so much for you. But you were too stuck up to put yourself in his shoes for one day. You think maybe if you had of just listened to him one of the countless times he tried to express how he was feeling, maybe that dreadful day would have never come, and maybe he’d be in the front row watching and cheering you on right now as you sang your 15th and final song of the night.
Your feet moved on their own as you walked onto the dark stage. You stood in the middle, a spotlight shining above you that slowly panned back to the crowd, now giving the room a warm feel.
Everyone cheered loudly once you came back out on the stage, and you thanked them with a warm smile once they had quieted down a bit. “I have something special planned, but before I perform my last song, I’d just like to thank each and every one of you for coming out tonight.”
You were overwhelmed by the crowd noise, but you were so grateful for how loved you were by so many. “As a lot of you know, this is my hometown, and I made my first hit single in a little studio just about fifteen minutes from here” The crowd went silent and held on to every word as you gave your final speech. You were even more grateful for how respectful your fans were. “Performing here has always been my dream, and now that it has become a reality, this moment now holds a special place in my heart, and I’ll never forget this for years to come” You fought back the tears and tried to finish. What you prepared without getting too emotional.
“You can do it,” Heeseung muttered as he watched you wiping a few stray tears and holding the mic up to your mouth once more as the crowd encouraged you by cheering and whistling. “That’s my strong girl” He smiled proudly as you started to speak again.
“One thing a lot of you don’t know is that I used to share that studio with my boyfriend, well actually fiancé and now ex” You could hear the crowd gasping at the news that you’ve never told anyone, not even your parents cause you knew no matter what you told them they’d blame it all on heeseung and he didn’t deserve that especially cause it was all your fault.
Heeseung immediately froze up. Were you talking about him?
No.
You must be talking about someone you met after him, he quickly concluded.
“I wrote this song for him because he’s the reason I’m standing on this stage tonight in front of you all right now when no one else believed in me. He did. When I couldn’t afford the rent for the studio, he worked extra shifts just to make my dream come true.”
This sounded a lot like the experiences you both went through, but heeseung didn’t want to get his hopes up. It’s been a year. You could have had multiple ex’s by now, for all he knows.
“I never forgot the day he proposed to me. It was the best day of my life. My first single had just finished playing on the radio, and out of nowhere, he popped the question, and of course, I said yes” You smiled softly.
Now he was positive you were talking about him, and he teared up immediately. He remembers that day like yesterday. No wonder you were wearing that outfit. It all made sense to him now, and he was more than grateful that you mentioned him at your live show.
“Everything seemed to be perfect. My career was taking off. We were going to get married in the summer of last year, but my tour came up, and we spent less time together and more time fighting until one day, I said a lot of things that I didn’t mean, and that led us to break up” you said heartbroken you knew you were sharing a little bit too much, but you hoped after performing here and getting all this weight off your chest it would help you heal even just a little bit.
More loud gasps and murmurs were heard, but you didn’t let it get to you too much cause people always had something to say, rather it was good or bad.
Heeseung couldn’t stand to watch you so vulnerable up there and all alone. He wanted to jump on stage and pull you in his arms and tell you that everything was okay.
“As bad as this might sound if I could, I’d trade my career to have him back” You took a deep breath. “I’d give up all this just to call him mine again.”
“Stop saying nonsense,” heeseung’s voice cracked as he smiled sadly, a tear escaping his eye and trickling down his cheek.
“If he were here, I would tell him I’m sorry for everything and that he was right and tell him just how much I still love him” No matter how hard you tried to fight it, you couldn’t hide the pain in your voice as you spoke those words straight from your heart.
“I love you too, baby. I promised I’d never stop loving you” He’s a thousand percent sure he was getting weird stares, but once again, he didn’t care. Nothing else mattered but you, him, and this once in a lifetime moment.
You tried to lighten the mood a bit before your last song. “Oh, and one more thing, I’m in the mood for steak,” you laughed, and so did the crowd. Even though they had no idea what you meant by that, you knew heeseung would, though, but you were still thankful that they played along.
“Always in the mood for steak,” He laughed quietly and blinked his tears away, dabbing his nose.
You gave the crew a thumbs up, and your final song played. “Thank you all for coming tonight. It has been an honor to perform here. This is my unreleased song dedicated to my wonderful ex-fiancé. It’s called “Nobody gets me,” you spoke softly into the mic. “Thank you for everything, and thank you to everyone who traveled to come see me. Please have a safe trip home. I love you all.” You blew a kiss to the audience.
Heeseung was taking in the moment glancing at the crowd as they all watched you with phones in their hands and the flashlight on. This is what you both always dreamed of big lights, thousands of people, and him proudly cheering for you in the crowd.
Halfway through the song, his ears perked up at the familiar words you sang.

He didn’t know why he started seeing less and less of heeseung as time passed or how you two ended, but when he asked. You just told him you were taking a break, and he never brought it up again since you seemed sensitive about the topic.
You turned in your seat, having a feeling you already knew who it was, and when your eyes met, you could have sworn you stopped breathing.
There he was in all of his beauty, and you smiled slightly when you saw him still wearing his chef jacket.
He smiled back at you shyly, and wow, were you absolutely gorgeous, just the way he remembered you. He knew it’s only been a year, but still. “Thank you, Steve. I owe you one,” heeseung shook your manager's hand.
“Hey, how about one of your infamous steaks? Since we’re in town,” Steve patted heeseung on the back with a light chuckle.
“You got it,” heeseung agreed, and Steve waved at you both before leaving you two alone.
Now that heeseung was alone with you for the first time in a year, the nerves had built up all over again. Still, he took confident strides toward you before he could even make it to you. You were already sprinting over to him with tears in your eyes as you wrapped your arms around him tightly.
You knew you had no right to, but you couldn’t help yourself.
He automatically welcomed you into his embrace, and it felt like you were never apart for even a second. That’s just how familiar you felt to him.
“Hey, it’s okay, don’t cry, it’s okay,” he shushed you and patted your head softly.
“I’m so sorry,” you said over and over again. Finally, after a year, you could say the words that you should have said the day he left, even before the day he left.
His heart broke at the sound of your weak sobs, and he couldn’t help but tear up as well. He always cried when you cried cause no matter what, he never wanted you to be alone in anything that you did. If you were happy, he was happy with you. If you were sad, he was sad. He was never in between. “It’s all okay now, baby. I forgive you.”
When he said baby, you literally froze in your tracks and pulled away from him. “Baby?” You asked with a confused tone fighting back a smile after hearing him call you that after so long.
“Yes, you never stopped being my baby” You pulled him even closer to you, pressing a kiss on his lips, both of you getting a taste of the salty tears that stained both your cheeks.
“Hee,” you mumbled breathlessly and looked him in the eyes. You were so nervous about doing this, but you had to. You pulled away from the hug and unclasped your necklace, taking off his ring. “I-“He had already outstretched his hand, waiting for you to slip his ring back on his finger where it belonged. “I love you so much, hee” He pulled you into another tight hug, rocking you back and forth gently.
“I love you too, I love you, I love you, I love you” He playfully kissed every inch of your face, and though few words were shared since seeing him again, your performance and his silver ring shining on his finger said more than a million words.
You giggle, and it was music to his ears to hear after so long. You played with his little cravat on his chef jacket just like before, and he smiled brightly. “So, are you still in the mood for steak?” He chuckled with a raise of his brow.
“I’m always in the mood for steak” He hooked his arm around your waist, leading you two out of the back of the venue. You’d get Steve to cover for you for your sudden disappearance.
“That’s my girl” He leaned down and kissed your lips sweetly as you clutched onto him tighter. “Just wait till chef sees this,” he smiles proudly at you.
You just looked at him quizzically, and he just gave you a smile. “Did you enjoy the concert?” You ask him excitedly.
“Well……” he chuckles nervously. “How about we talk about it over dinner, Hmm?”
“Sure” The smile never left either of your faces as you drove to the restaurant in his beater, hand in hand.
As you look at him, he stares back at you with that one-in-a-billion smile of his, you made a promise to yourself to never hurt him again, and you swore you’d do whatever it took to keep him and that beautiful smile on his precious face.
Cause you’d never find anyone else that gets you like him.
FIN.

Tell me what you did last night.
“I don’t think so, at least not with some guy like that.”
“Believe what you want. She fucked him; couple sources tell me so.”
“The fuck are you, TMZ?”
Choso knew you didn’t, at least you wouldn’t, maybe; you’d been walking around with him, putting distance between you guys so as not to raise suspicion. But Choso knew you, probably better than anyone else. Deep down, he’d convinced himself you were still his, noticing how you’d keep eye contact with him or at the very least leave him on read, and when he asked you why you don’t just block him, you’d give him a smirk as you walked off, and damn, he loved to see you go.
Did you close your eyes and think about me like I think about you?
Choso was in love with you still, falling asleep to the thought of you. He missed your smell, your touch, your, well, you know. He knew he was a fuckin’ asshole though, saying some really rude things to you, terrible at times. But, he never thought you’d break up with him. Especially when you were a total bitch right back. Every fucked up thing Choso said, you’d follow up with some egregious shit, always looking for a low blow. Like that time you insulted him for not being able to get it up since you’d been arguing all day, which in turn, he fucked the shit out of you, getting you to shut up. For ten minutes. You’d had enough when he accused you of fucking with some guy you met at a party, conveniently the same guy you were talking to now. Which made him really fucking mad. It was one thing if you’d fucked the guy after the two of you broke up, or in Choso’s head, you were on a break, but the idea of you fucking him while you were together? That had him fuming.
Tell me why you always fight. Waiting on you to get with it; what's with the resistance, baby?
Choso wasn’t the aggressive type; as much as you’d argue, it really came from insecurity. He knew you were pretty, hot even, catching the attention of damn near every guy who walked by you. When you were together, he’d grip your ass to tell them to fuck off, but now that you guys split, they’d start approaching you, and you’d have to tell them off, reminiscent of when you’d yell at him like that. You shouldn’t have to do that, and maybe if he’d acted right, he’d be able to protect you still. When he got particularly tired of that guy talking to you, he walked up to the punch bowl. He interjected, like a shark swimming through the sea of party go-ers, pushing any motherfucker who got in his way. He’d cleared the distance fast, immediately bringing his arm around your waist.
“Sorry, buddy. She’s taken.”
You pushed Choso’s hand off, not even looking him in the face, instead pointing your attention back to the dude in front of you.
“No, I'm not. Now why don’t you fuck off so I can continue my conversation.”
“Uh, actually, I’ll talk to you later…”
Choso had scared the guy off, face bearing a shit-eating grin as you looked up at him in disgust.
“You’ve got some fucking nerve.”
“What did I do, baby?”
“You’re scarin’ the hoes, plus I’m not your fuckin’ baby.”
Don't listen to a word they say.
Before Choso could respond, you’d walked off in a fit; that made him really hurt. You’d just rejected him in front of some guy you barely even knew and brushed him off like a fly on your shoulder. You’d walked over to your friends, who, when you pointed at Choso, shot him death stares. He deserved that for sure, but nonetheless, it was insulting. He went off to meet Yuuji again, pulling the tequila out of his bag and throwing shots back like a madman. His tolerance was pretty high, but that didn’t stop him from getting dunk, probably one drink or two away from blacking out. He looked about the party, trying to find you, and when he did, you were with the fucker he’d accused you of cheating on him with again, his hand on your waist. Choso was to his limit at this point, wanting to steal you away and take you back to his apartment; he wanted to bring you home and show you just how much he missed you.
I'm in your head like every day.
Choso knew it was a bad idea, but that didn’t stop him from pulling out his phone and texting you.
“Bathroom. Now.”
You’d check your phone, looking around until your eyes landed on Choso, who was already making his way to the bathroom. He had something to prove: if you still loved him, you’d come to the bathroom with him, and if you didn’t, you’d leave him hanging. He walked into the upstairs bathroom, closing it behind him as he splashed water on his face to sober up. After a couple of minutes, there was a knock on the door. He opened it, ready to tell the guy who was knocking off. But it was you. Tits sitting pretty in that strapless dress, so fuckin’ short you couldn’t bend over at all. He pulled you into the bathroom, locking the door as he sat you on the sink.
And you deny yourself…
Choso began kissing you, using one hand to spread your legs apart so he could start to touch you. You’d thrown your head back so he could begin sucking the skin there, pushing him off of you the second he started biting you, not allowing him to leave hickies, and fuck that made him angry. In retaliation, he pulled down the top of your dress, tits falling out as he brought his mouth up to suck on them, taking extra care of rubbing your clit as he sucked your nipples into his mouth. A couple of people walked by to use the bathroom, every time pulling off your nipple and taking his hand off your clit so you’d shut up, telling them the bathroom was occupied. That was until Yuuji knocked on the door.
“Yo, Choso, is that you?”
He almost didn’t answer, coming back down to lift your dress completely up, all of the fabric bunched around your stomach until Yuuji kept talking.
“You wanted to know where she was, right? Asshole just left, but I haven’t seen her, probably left together.”
Choso looked up from your chest, smirking.
“Don’t worry, she didn’t. I’ll be out soon, had to throw up.”
“Okay, I’ll be in the car.”
With that, Yuuji walked off, leaving you and Choso to your own devices. You looked down at him with a twisted face as he slid his hands under your legs, positioning you on the counter so he could eat you out.
“Don’t you think you should leave? Someone’s waiting for you.”
“He can wait; I’ll make this quick.”
As much as he pissed you off, your pussy missed him. He’d been fucking you since sophomore year, meeting you at a car meet a month after the semester started; he ate you out the next day in the back of his S550, so you were his. It was hard to resist him a lot of the time, especially when he’d walk around campus giving you that hungry-ass look, obviously going through withdrawals. You’d heard it through the grapevine that he was keeping his dick to himself, rejecting every girl that decided to wait til you broke up to fuck him. That’s why fucking with other guys was so fun, you knew he couldn’t fucking stand it.
And then you scream my name…
Choso started eating your pussy, sliding his tongue between your lips, lapping at your bud as he moaned into you. Fuck, he looked good. Sucking your clit as you held his head up to your pussy, telling him you were ready to get this over with.
“So, that’s what this is about?”
He hadn’t lifted, keeping his face between your legs, fingering you as he spoke.
“The fuck are you talkin’ about.”
“You brought me here to eat me out because you thought I fucked him, huh? Needed to prove a point or something?”
“Maybe.”
“Well, enjoy it 'cause it'll be the last time.”
“Yeah, right. I see you still wearing that necklace I bought you.”
“Oh, don’t even-”
“Can you just shut the fuck up for once?”
Choso brought his face back to your pussy, sucking your juices up as he massaged your ass. You couldn’t lie, it felt really fucking good. You didn’t wanna cum for him, not like he deserved it, but your body had other plans. He’d been fucking his fingers into you, hitting that place he knew set you off; you hated how good he knew your body. Within seconds you were seeing stars, eyes rolling back as he chuckled into your pussy, drinking up all your cum as he slapped your ass.
“Good girl. Give it to me, baby.”
God, you were perfect. Moaning his name as he brought a hand up to pinch your nipples, sucking your clit as he fucked you through your orgasm. When you came down, you pushed him off, fixing your dress as he licked you off his fingers. He put your panties in his pocket, kissed you quickly, and unlocked the door.
“If you want them back, you know where to find me.”
“Fuck you.”
And I can't take it.
Come chase the night with me.
You were back to ignoring him again, walking the other way when you’d see him about to walk by and stopping your conversations if he did happen to walk by. You’d been pretty dedicated to this little charade, telling everyone who asked that he was your ex, not even your friend. Which, in theory, he wasn’t, and he didn’t want to be. The only real option was to be your boyfriend, and you were giving him a hard time with that. He’d text you like he always did, telling you good morning and night, and then there were the gifts. It had always been his love language, so it didn’t surprise you when you had roses waiting for you at your door, or a bag of your favorite makeup from Sephora, or a perfume he’d want you to try. You were really coy about it, too; he’d smell you as he walked by, and you were wearing it; you’d wear the lipgloss he gave you and left the note for the roses outside your door. It wasn’t until one afternoon when he was particularly toxic, texting you to let you know he still had your things and didn’t want you to go without them.
“Okay.”
It was a basic text, which really pissed him off, but it was more than anything you’d given him since he ate you last week. You wore one of the dresses he’d bought you when you were together, wanting to get a rise out of him, and your mission was accomplished when he licked his lips the second you walked out of the building. You saw he got a new wrap on his car, the black chrome you’d encouraged him to get for the longest time, persisting that it would look great on his S550, but he insisted on keeping that deep purple wrap. He treated it like a surprise as he opened the door for you, to which you gave him:
“Nice wrap.”
Shit, he’d take it. As he climbed into the driver's seat, he placed his hand on your thigh, which you swiftly moved away. That didn’t stop you from putting your hand on the gearshift adjusting it as he pulled off. God, you were so fuckin’ push and pull. He decided to talk to you as he drove.
They say I'm bad, you say it back, but you know you don't believe that.
“So, how was your day?”
“It was good.”
“Nice earrings.”
“Thanks, they were a gift.”
“Oh yeah? From who?”
“Hm, his name evades me.”
“I see you’re on your shit again.
“The fuck does that mean?”
“It means we’ve only been driving for ten minutes, and you’re already talkin’ crazy.”
“Talkin’ crazy? That’s real rich coming from you.”
“Oh yeah? How’s that?”
“Don’t act like you’re not a piece of shit.”
“Didn’t stop you from fucking with me.”
“It did, actually.”
“Was that before after I ate your pussy?”
“Says the motherfucker still in love with me.”
Just like that, you guys were arguing again. It didn’t feel too good, but it was a glimpse into what you guys had, so he was willing to tolerate it. He tensed his jaw as he pulled up to his apartment, turning the car off annoyed, which didn’t go unnoticed by you because you scoffed at him as he opened your door. He walked behind you on the stairs, getting a nice view of your ass as you walked, and he wasn’t stupid; you’d put a lil sass to your walk.
Eat the fruit that feeds your spirit on your knees; now, baby, eat it, eat it.
Choso unlocked the door to his apartment, letting you walk in first, locking the door behind you. His apartment looked the same, but what you’d noticed was that your boots were still at the front door. Your makeup was still organized in the bathroom, and a couple of new products there, presumably gifts he hadn’t gotten the chance to give you. Your earrings were still on his dresser, along with the picture of you two at the fair a few months ago. When things were still healthy between you two.
“I see you haven’t moved my stuff.”
“Because you weren’t supposed to leave.”
“Not exactly ex-boyfriend behavior, Choso.”
“What would that be?”
“Moving on from me, giving me back my things or throwing them away, not talking to me, the list goes on. Let’s be real, you didn’t bring me here to get my shit. Why do you keep doing this? Can’t you see I'm hurt? I don’t wanna be hurt anymore; that’s why I fuckin’ left! I hate that I love you!”
Choso walked up to you now, bringing you into his arms. You hesitated at first, then softened into it. He was always so warm, especially when he was vulnerable like this. When things were good. You began crying into his sleeve, holding on to him tighter as he brought a hand up to caress the back of your head.
“I’m sorry, baby. I promise I’ll do better to treat you the way you deserve. I know I’ve been an asshole, and I’m sorry, but it doesn’t excuse the shit I’ve said to you. Just want you back, baby.”
You pulled back to look him in the face, him wiping away your tears.
“Yeah?”
“Of course, princess.”
You brought him into a kiss, deepening it as he held your lower back, your fingers in his hair.
“Then make me feel better.”
Are you really gonna stand there staring at me all the way from across the room?
Choso let you down onto his bed, standing over you as he pulled off your heels, his shirt and pants right after. He climbed over the top of you, making out with you again as he slipped his hand behind you, arching your back as he unzipped your dress. He pulled off you, tossing it somewhere on the floor. He thought a lot of things; when he asked you to come over, he fully expected to eat you out again, but what really surprised him was your lack of a bra and panties. You’d come over knowing you wanted to fuck him, which made him even hungrier for you, immediately massaging the outside of your lips to tease you. You writhe your hips, begging him to touch you how you need him to. With soft kisses, he made his way down your body, stopping at your tits to suck hickeys into the skin there. You hadn’t stopped him this time.
Are you really gonna stand there staring at me?
Choso’s head fell between your legs, pushing your hips apart as he brought his fingers through your lips, feeling how wet you were for him. He had half a mind to fuck you right then and there, but his main prerogative was to make you cum first, prepping you for later. He’d known it had been a while, a month since you guys had sex, and he wasn’t gonna believe those rumors. Not when he slipped his tongue into your folds, making you his girl again as you moaned his name into the pillow.
“Let me hear you, baby. Need to hear how much you missed me.”
Don't listen to a word they say; I'm in your head like every day.
He was sucking with a passion, practically making out with your pussy as you moved your body against his. He needs you more than anything right now. You were his water, his food, his air. It had been a long month, unsure just how bad he’d fucked up, praying you’d come back to him. And now here you were, letting him take care of you, please you, relieve the stress of the past few months. Taking you to a place where there was no arguing, no fighting, just you and him. You gripped the sheets as you came undone, moaning his name softly instead of screaming it; that’s how he knew he really had you.
And you deny yourself…
But he wasn’t done there. He would make it up to you; so many nights you had to sleep without his touch, nothing but your pillow to sleep on. He needed you to know just how much he loved you, and you were pretty damn sure two orgasms later. You whimper at this point from overstimulation, your body giving into him despite how spent you are.
“How many times are you gonna eat me out?”
“As many times it takes for you to give me another chance.”
Choso wasn’t malicious, though, so he gently laid your legs back down, kissing them as he let your thighs rest on the bed. He kissed his way back up to your neck, sucking hickeys there, groaning as he made you his again. He massaged the fat of your ass now, naked body humping against his as he moved his hips with yours, bringing his lips to your ears.
“Can I fuck you baby?”
At that point, you needed him. Bad. It felt like it had been forever since he fucked you, making quick work of taking off his briefs, helping him position himself between your legs. Choso towered over you as he took in the sight before him. It felt like a mirage, having his girl lay out in front of him, begging for his touch as her hand pulled his wrist, signaling she was ready, the side of her face pressed into the pillow. He brought his fingers to your folds, saturating them as he put your essence on his shaft, nearly shuddering at the feeling. He brought himself down to hover over you, kissing you as he slid himself in.
And then you scream my name…
“Fuck!”
“Jesus, baby…”
You felt so fucking good. He felt like he’d been in rehab for the past month, finally getting his fix again because you were fucking addictive. He started by making love to you, holding your hands as he fucked you deep and slow, whimpering in your ear. But then, he really missed you. He picked up his pace, hips beginning to rut into yours, making you moan his name so loud, he was sure the neighbors would hear you. As he fucked you, though, his mind drifted, thinkin’ about shit he shouldn’t. Fuck, he needed to know.
“Did you fuck him?”
“What? What the fuck are you talking about?”
“Did you fuck that guy everybody’s been saying you did?”
You were pissed at him again. Here you were, blissed out, and he was asking about some fucker you only ever flirted with.
“No, I didn’t; now, please just fuck me.”
He believed you, but he wasn’t letting you off that easy. He had to make sure you didn’t get any ideas in the future. He picked your hips up as he fell back on his knees, fucking into you at a pace that made you feel so good you couldn’t even think. He was hitting you right where you needed him to, ramming that spot as he heard your moans pick up.
“Tell me, no one’s ever gonna fuck you like this.”
“No one’s gonna fuck me like this…”
“Who’s are you, baby?”
“I’m yours, Choso. Please...”
“Yeah? Then cum for me.”
 And I can’t take it.
He was fucking cocky, needing to hear you call out for him, need him, crave him. And that you did, which is why you gave him what he wanted. He drilled into that spot, and you burst like a firecracker, your body convulsing from your fourth orgasm of the night. You grip his arm, trying to hold on to anything as you give your all to him, as you’ve done time and time before. He was grateful this time; he wouldn’t take advantage of the kindness you’d shown him. That’s why he gave you all he had, too. He threw his head back as he came inside you, holding your hips close to his to ensure he gave you all of it, not missing a drop. You moaned at the feeling of him filling up, gasping at the motion of his body hovering over you again, arms struggling to stay up as he slowly pulled out of you, kissing you as you both came down from your high.
They aren't in your head like…
Fuck, he missed you. It took everything in him not just to pull you in and hold you there forever, so scared you’d leave. He knew he had to clean you up, though, so he carried you to the bathroom and held you in his arms as you took a bath together, nearly falling asleep on his chest. Then, he brought you back to the room, dressed you in one of his shirts, and laid you under the covers, coming under to hold you close.
Like second nature, you felt yourself melt into his arms, trusting him to protect you as he kissed your forehead, whispering over and over he loved you. You drifted to sleep; all he could think about was what he would do next. He was tempted to move you in at this point, take you to class in his car every day; you pissed at the loudness of his exhaust. Pick you up and take you out to eat, bring you home to watch a movie, then make love to you. He wanted to be perfect for you because that meant you’d be his forever.
They aren't in your head like…
When you woke up the next morning, you got ready and woke Choso up to take you back to your dorm. He could tell you were a little distant; to be fair, you’d been upset with him for the past month, so he was taking what he could get. Still, you kissed him before you got out of the car and walked into your building; he left when he made sure you were in there safe.
You hadn’t really talked to him that day; when he asked you what was wrong, well, you said:
“I just wanna make sure I’m making the right decision. I wanna make sure things aren’t gonna be like before.”
He’d respected your decision; you wanted to see him change, and he was going to. But that was earlier today, and he was thinking about you now. Old habits die hard, huh?
“Missin’ you, baby.”
“I’ll be ready in ten.”
They aren't in your head like me.

“Ya dale boludo. Por qué mejor no vas y charlas con ella en ves de estar aquí todo embobado viéndola.” Enzo turns his attention to the curly blue-eyed boy.
He hadn’t realized it yet but he had his eyes set heavy on you. He watched how you danced and sang the lyrics of any song that would be playing. Thinking you looked beautiful. Enzo was lucky you hadn’t noticed that he was gazing, he didn’t want to startle you away.
You had been friends with Juani for a while now, and he always invited you out with the guys. Since you were like a sister to him, he wanted you to hang out with him at all times. If possible. When you met Enzo, it was as if the world stopped for him, he found you mesmerized. The poor man couldn’t say a word, he didn’t want to mess up. The boys were getting tired of him, always telling him to go talk to you but Enzo just couldn’t bring himself to.
“No, que tiene miedo que no le de bola al nene,” Matías says in a joking tone. Enzo only rolled his eyes since he knew Matias was just making fun of him.
“Pero es que es tan hermosa que no se que decirle.” Enzo looked around towards his friend group who only stared back.
“Pues eso mismo. Que esta hermosa.” Blas points out. He didn’t think it should be that hard since he seemed calm about it. His tone said it all.
“¡Que no! No quiero ser directo.” Enzo’s hand points into the center as he speaks.
He was overthinking too much. He just wanted to try and find a good topic to talk about. Another possibility was he was just scared you wouldn’t want to talk to him.
“Ay, ya boludo. No más que viene pa’ acá.” Juani stands up waving his hand in the air with his cup on the other. He walked closer to Enzo before he spoke. “Te dejamos con ella y le hablas.”
“Juani pero si apenas y le puedo decir un hola.” The last syllable drags on his tongue while he faintly motions his hands towards your direction.
“Práctica.” A pat is set on Enzo’s shoulder by Juani. “Pero no me le hagas nada que te mato pelotudo.” He finishes his sentence and points his index finger at Enzo who only nods.
The boys stayed quiet for a second after you got there. You still had a bit of your drink, which you had asked Juani to take care of before getting up to go dance. You smiled at all of them while Juani spoke—
“Eh oye linda, fíjate que tenemos que salir corriendo que se le descompuso el auto a kuku-” Juani points towards Esteban. The poor guy was confused for a second but quickly followed along with the plan—
“Ah sí. Algo del combustible.” He makes up.
“Oh, okay.” You nodded.
“Sí pero te quedas con Enzo—” Juani gave him a small pat on the back while all Enzo could do was share a small smile as he glanced at you. Shortly he downed the rest of his drink in a nervous manner only he knew. You gave him a genuine one. “No estarías sola.”
You nodded while taking a sip of your drink. Bueno, vayan. No pasa nada.”
After you say that, all of the guys disappear leaving you with Enzo in the bar. He felt like he was back in middle school, having his friends to help him stay with the girl, or himself being too scared to ask the girl out. But this was worse, he couldn’t even say a small hi.
“¿Como te la estás pasando?” You asked to break down the iced silence. In some way, Enzo was thankful, and on the other, he felt nothing but nervousness.
He decided to swallow the lump and speak to not leave you hanging. “Bien, bien. ¿Y tú?”
“Bien, divertido.” You nod.
In that moment the music shifted into a song that you recognized. La Tormenta de Arena by Dorian played. You watched how the lights dimmed into a dark blue and the flashes shifted with the rhythm of the beat.
“Ay, vamos a bailar.” You rose from your chair excitedly. A smile was spread across your face while Enzo’s face looked surprised.
“¿A- a bailar?” He swallowed. “No, nena. Creo que prefiero quedarme sentado.” He downed his shot shooting you a smile that made his eyes squint.
You giggled at his facial expression before you grabbed his hand and pulled. “Ay ándale solo somos tú y yo. Todos se fueron a arreglar el carro de kuku.”
Enzo thought about it for a moment. The guys had left just to get the two of you together, and right now you were asking to dance. This could be the chance for the two of you to finally start having more conversations. Get close.
“Dale.” He smiled. One that showed his dimples.
You dragged Enzo towards the dance floor that was full of people. Everyone moved to the rhythm of the music, bodies touching. Enzo could only smile as you brought him closer to you. He was admiring you. He admired how your skin reflected against the hue of the blue. How you smiled while you swayed your body to the beat. He only moved from side to side.
“¿Siempre eres así?” The same smile stayed on his lips. His voice had risen up due to the loud music.
“¿Así como?” You hollered coming closer to get a better listen.
His neck lowered down to get to your level. “De divertida.”
You picked up your head as you were about to answer, but you felt how a body pushed you over making you stumble into Enzo. His hands gripped your arms as you looked up towards him with a shy smile.
“Perdón.” You say pulling back.
“No pasa nada, nena.” His words followed a smile. “¿Volvemos?” He points back to the chairs on the bar making you nod.
The both of you walked away from the crowd as you looked around to see if you spotted the boys. But they were nowhere to be seen. You had ordered another round of shots for both, you and Enzo. He seemed to decline at first, saying he had already drunk too much, but you managed to convince him.
Four shots later of two rounds and you were giggly with Enzo. “No, no, en serio. Ese chico no tenía forma de liga. Llegue vomitada a mi casa.” You scowl at the memory.
Enzo and you had been talking about your past talking stages, or guys you had gone on dates with. He somewhat felt like he was getting good information on what you liked and what you didn’t.
“¿No, pero como se puede ser tan asqueroso?” Enzo laughed while you nodded along. “Y en su primera cita también. Me imagino que no lo volviste a buscar.”
“No.” A chuckle escaped your lips while a shake of the head followed. Enzo thought about asking a question he had been thinking about, but he wasn’t sure if he should. Until he downed another shot was when he did—
“Bueno, ¿y qué te gustaría que tú cita hiciera?” He questioned.
He felt like this conversation was perfect to ask this question. He knew he would not have another chance to at least know something, for if he ever invited you out on a date.
“Pues-” You sighed setting the piece of lemon into the small tray. “Me gustaría que sea simpático. Que tengamos cosas en común, haga chistes o que no sea serio.” You shrugged. “También lo más importante que no sea un patan y se crea el centro de atención.”
“¿Y tienes cita ideal?” He titled his head towards the side somewhat squinting his eyes.
“Mmm. Siempre he querido ir a la playa y hacer como un picnic. Ver el atardecer, con Bob Marley de fondo.” You giggled before speaking again.
noted.
By that time both you and Enzo watched as the guys came back towards the both of you. All of them circled where you and Enzo were before Juani spoke—
“¿Como andan?” He looked straight at Enzo with a smirk, but then toward you.
You nodded. “Bien. Bailamos y nos tomamos unos tragos.” You glanced at Enzo with a small smile while Juani nodded with raised eyebrows that followed a smile on his lips, that was somewhat opened.
“Ah, ¿en serio?” Juani patted Enzo’s shoulder. “Que bueno.”
Enzo knew where Juani was going. He just wanted him to stop talking so he wouldn’t say anything that could come out in a wrong way. He thankfully did and didn’t say anything wrong.
However, after all, he was thankful to the boys for giving him this small push. Without it, he wouldn’t know if he was going to ever be able to talk to you. This somewhat made it better, and he felt like the two of you had gotten closer than you were.
