Lyanna hated Rhaegar? Or she didn't like him?

Lyanna hated Rhaegar only in asoiaf tumblr fanfictions/headcanons, not in the canon books.

And all because many people have an hate boner for Rhaegar and the Targaryens, that's all. Not because there are "hints" in the books (there are hints in the books yeah...of Lyanna and Rhaegar being in love lol)

Most of those people didn't even read the books anyway and they are watching nonsensical metas on TikTok and Youtube

Lyanna and Rhaegar had a consensual relationship and GRRM wrote them as lovers, as i've already explained here

If asoiaf fandom still want to believe that they weren't in love and blah blah, good for them. Idc and it’s not my problem. I've completely lost interest in the fandom btw

But one thing is clear: asoiaf fans will hate the next two books with a burning passion :)

This is something I’ve been thinking for a while sorry I took so long!

First of all this is a massive trip I’m saying a : Stark, Targaryen, Martell and Tully family trip ;

So all the kids are there when they go to Dragon World ( Westeros version of Disney ) ;

They have the right idea when they go in the autumn season because it’s not too hot and not too cold;

Doran is the one that makes badges for all the children with their parents phone number in case they get lost in the park;

Lyanna kind of sticks with some of the older kids 15- 10 and Rhaegar goes with them which mean a lot of roller coasters;

He isn’t too happy about it but it’s better than what happened to Ned. He got stuck with the younger kids who stayed in a 4 hour line to take a picture with one character;

No one but Lyanna knew this but it was Rhaegar’s first time in an amusement part cause his father wouldn’t let him go to one when he was a child;

Rhaegar favorite snack form the parks was the ice cream sandwich in the shape of a dragon head , Lya’s favourite was the giant pig leg;

Of you wan to know who stuck with Rhaegar and Lyanna it was : Robb, Jon, Arya, Rhaenys, Arianne, Obara, Viserys and Quentyn;

They also went in one of those shooter attractions to defeat Zurg, and Rhaegar and Lyanna tied for first place;

Although Lyanna had no plan the first thing Rhaegar did when getting to the park was getting a map and asking their group of kids what they wanted to do, he was determined in helping they made their way through the park efficiently;

Rhaegar also made sure to bring snack to everyone and separated a time before all the restaurants got full so they could eat and not pass out;

Lyanna made sure to get every single kid a souvenir;

And since Rhaegar got them all fast pass they almost didn’t stay in any lines so it was quite a full day;

At the end of the day all the groups met to see the firework shows and Brandon told them about some of the kids going missing during the day which thank the gods didn’t happen to them;

And if you ask them for their favourite attraction Lyanna would respond with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ( rollercoaster) and Rhaegar would respond with either the Carousel of Progress or Aegon’s Flight;

These people really don't know how to read.

Also, there would have been a mess in Westeros even without the romance of these two. You have to stop the bullshit after a while.

Lyanna being an active participant in Rhaegar's plan and believing in the song and fire prophecy would be 100 times more interesting to me than her just following whatever he's doing just because she's in love or worst !!!!! Because she had no choice, as she was kidnapped by Rhaegar.

The glimpses we saw of her depict her as a pretty strong minded girl and close to her family. She defends the people who can't defend themselves and doesn't seem the kind of person to do things that could hurt others. If she followed Rhaegar willingly it has to be because she was totally on board with the prophecy.

And it wouldn't mean she didn't love Rhaegar, we know she was touched by his music and even cried when listening to him. So at the very least she had a soft spot for the guy.

Very well written, to fans of F1 it's specially good, it has a very good grammar and has very good characters not just development but in witting, you actually see the characters in that Au even thought it's quite modern. The only thing that I didn't really know why was the written made Lyanna Dornish and not Northern, not something that appears too much in the story, but it does not hinder on the experience of the fic. For people looking for a Rhaelya modern fic it is a very good start.

So I’ve been thinking about this for almost a month, and I kept thinking how would it be for Lyanna and Rhaegar to go on a date night in a fancily restaurant but of course I had to think. If Rhaelya was involved what kind of shenanigans would happen and here it is :

Let's start saying this was Rhaegar's idea, he saw a new restaurant downtown and wanted to eat there. It was a Valyrian + Northern fusion restaurant that was what caught his eye;

Since it was an upscale place they both dressed fancy, she wore a blue suit, and he wore a black suit;

When they arrived the ambiance, felt amazing, the venue had the light dim, warm lighting to create a cosy yet refined atmosphere;

They were sat at a table in the middle of the venue, which gave them the entire view of the place;

The night was very calm, but it was not going to end in that vibe, they were eating their main course ( Lyanna was having a mushroom risotto, and Rhaegar was having rigatoni carbonara ), when something weird happened on the door of the restaurant;

As everyone did the two of them turned to look at the door, a man came in huffing and puffing, he walked towards their table;

The man was clearly going for a fight so Rhaegar thanked all the gods - for their date's sake - when he turned to the couple on the table right next to theirs and started to scream;

From what Rhaegar could grasp the man was the husband of the woman who was in a date with her lover, of course if they were normal people they would mind their business but... the tea was too good;

Very quickly it became clear that the woman was the wife of the enraged man, but also the affair partner was the husband's brother;

The fight escalated, and the enraged husband reached for one of the flaming cheese cognac pasta plates and threw it onto his brother;

The affair partner/brother's suit light on fire as he grabbed a knife and ran after his brother who ran out, the fight escalated, and the affair partner ended up with a knife on his leg;

Safe to say after that night Rhaegar and Lyanna went home in shook;

Lya even joked they had a great bargain because they got food and a show for the price of one;
