a soul for a soul
There was a mistake when they tried to get out of this world. It wasn't just the Unknown God attacking them and capturing her.
Lumine knew from the moment that she wasn't in her own body and unfamiliar memories—a ragged girl crying and hurting always from her own 'family'—came overflowing.
"I want to leave. I want to leave," the girl was breaking down alone in the vision without no one to see and her bruises and scars burned. "Please just let me leave."
The feelings of that unknown girl—her sufferings and wishes—overwhelmed the outlander and Lumine thought grimly that it's like the original soul of the body, she was occupying, was mixing with her own.
With a hand that was not hers and a body that looked ready to break, she touched the mirror in front of her. A pale face with teary purple eyes and long cerulean hair (it's wrong wrong and too different from what was hers) reflected in it and Lumine couldn't stomach the urge to break the reflection into pieces.
"Aether," her voice—younger and softer—cracked and she wanted to just drown in misery when her beloved brother wasn't there. "What am I supposed to do?"
Mouna, the spare heir of the Lawrence Clan, physically stood but the soul inside wasn't hers anymore. Only Lumine, an outlander from another world, remained with all her memories.
At the same, a traveler woke up alone and desperately searching for his sister.
—Or what if the captured twin was dragged and stuck on the body of someone who committed suicide?
(Notes: Mouna is supposed to be Eula's OC younger sister because I needed a family that would probably not treat her better and force her to this misery, so Lumine will be able to put in her body like all those villainess stories out there. Also, Mouna means silence or desire to be silent.)
