During the final battle you took almost every hit for giyuu much to his dismay.

"Your hurt enough as it giyuu. I'm not losing my son."

He stood in place for a second letting your words sink in.

"From the way you look your gonna die before me, old man." He said running past you and towards muzan.

Mitsuri

You and kanjiro were fight all night. The village that you were in was plagued with demons.

Coming to the 6th hour of fighting Mitsuri stopped, sensing no demons around her, so her could take a breath.

A weak demon saw this opportunity to sneak up on her, luckily for her you saved her.

Swiftly cutting off it's head. "Your not touching her... Not my daughter" You said with malice sending shivers down the withering demon spine.

"Stay alive Konroji. I know your tired but the sun will come up soon."

Sanemi

Upper moon was a tough guy.

"GENYA!" You screamed running into the room as genya was sliced in half.

"I'll be fine. I promise." He tried but failed to calm your nerves. Sanemi stood over the both of you defensively.

Grabbing the bottom of his haroi making him look back at you.

"Please don't." You pleaded. As if you prayers were answered gyomei showed up (gyomei ex machina).

Rengoku

You trailed Kyojuro on the Mugen train not just because trains were a new idea and you didn't entirely trust it but because you didn't feel right when you watched him leave.

You were right to be skeptical when you watched fight Akaza. You wanted to see him fight before butting in but when you saw Kyo slowing down.

Akaza was going for the killing blow when you blocked him with your sword.

"NOT MY SON!" You yelled getting in between them and cutting Akaza's arm. Akaza jumped back seeing that the sun was coming up. You watched as he ran while Rengoku kept his eyes on you.

He had never seen you yell and the fact that you called him a son he felt honored.

Shinobu

When Kanae died you were there. As she was saying her dying words you were fighting doma trying to keep him away from the children.

"You took one away from me. I'm not letting you take another." You chocked on your tears when you spoke but doma just laughed.

"Your a strong one, I'll grant you mercy this once. I can't stand to see a grown man cry." He said laughing. You blinked and he was gone.

You couldn't bring your self to go back to shinobu and Kanae, and instead you kneeled to the ground crying at the lost.

Muichirou

He forgets that you even there until he sees you take a hit for him.

"I know what you told me but I can't stand by and watch you get hurt, son."

"What did I say" Tokito asked. His memory was almost laughable.

"Uh... Nothing just focus on the fight for now."

Tengen

You accompanied Tengen to the red light district. When Daki was found out you were helping people evacuate before you even knew there was a second demon. Soon everything turned into Caos. When you got you where the main fight was happening you saw Hinasturu on a roof.

"Mr. Y/n its lord Tengen." She worriedly pointed to a seemingly dead and missing and arm Tengen.

"UZUI!" You jumped off the roof and ran down to him dodging all the attacks that came.

You first looked at his arm, the bleeding has stopped. Then you looked at his chest, he was still breathing.

"Go away." He muttered. Then you caught on, he was pretending.

Gyotaro was talking to tanjiro when you came up behind him.

"What did you do to my son." You asked with no particular tone.

When gyotaro turned to look at you tanjiro took the time to strike and so did you.

Obanai

Obanai doesn't give you a chance to help. Once you do (if you get past him) he pushes you to the side and scolds you like your the child.

“Ryo-kun, I have to go to the toilet, so please, wait for me!” You spoke in a half-whisper tone, then followed the colorful, wall signs. You two were on your way to the stands to watch a basketball game, but at one point you wanted to pee. So you had to apologize to your precious, tall bestie and leave him in the middle of the corridor for a few minutes.

After you washed your hands and improved your hair, you stepped out of the ladies’ public restroom and checked the time on the phone; luckily there is still some time before the game starts, so you could even buy yourself something to eat or drink. However, before you reached the blonde waiting for you again, your way was blocked by an older man. He apologized to you for causing trouble and asked you where the entrance to the grandstand A3 was. You thought for a moment and, looking at the signs, pointed in the right direction.

“Ah, yeah, you’re right. Thank you so much, pretty one.” He smiled, and your eyebrows frowned slightly. “By the way, since you’re here too, why don’t we watch today’s game together?” He asked, touching your shoulder and you took a step back.

“No, thanks. I’m here with someone.”

“Really? I can’t see anyone.” His grip tightened, and you swallowed, wanting to scream for help.

Fortunately, help showed up sooner than you thought it would.

“Any problems, old man?” The stranger turned to insult Kise, but when he saw his wide chest and then looked up to make eye contact with him, he let go of your body and laughed awkwardly. After a while, he left the two of you, and the blonde asked if everything was okay with you. After all, you haven’t been coming back for a long time, and additionally this disgusting situation with a perverted guy... Kise was furious but you assured him that you were fine. “... Okay. Then let’s go and take our seats. Unless, you are hungry... I’ll buy you something tasty.”

“No, no. We’ll eat something after the game. Let’s go, Ryo-kun.” You answered in a soft voice, taking his big, warm hand and walking forward.

His cheeks flushed slightly.

You were waiting next to one of the tall, wooden bookcase, reading the titles of the old books. Your blonde-haired friend was looking for some alchemy book, and you decided to look around the National Central Library, where you were the first time in your life. It was a nice experience, but you wanted Edward to come back to you already because you two were going to go for a walk and then for a picnic outside of town.

After five, long minutes, you heard a low cough, so you turned and bowed gently as you saw the older than you man with the Captain’s badge who stand in front of you.

“What is such a beautiful lady doing alone in the National Library?” He asked with a smile, and you laughed nervously as you looked around for Ed.

”I’m waiting for my best friend. He went looking for some important book for him. I haven’t touched anything, Captain, I just read the titles.” You answered truthfully to which the man nodded.

“I understand, but unfortunately you cannot stay here unattended. I’ll take care of you. So let’s go, miss.” He replied, grabbing your arm, and you stiffened slightly. “If you want, we can talk over tea and a cake.” He added, and you sighed as you looked around once again. Unluckily, you couldn’t refuse anyone with a badge on the shoulder, especially since you were in the Library in Central City.

Thank God, the conversation between you and the stranger Captain reached to the Edward’s ears, who finally found the huge book in a maroon hardcover. He quickly followed the noise and the clatter of shoes, and when he saw your body being led out by the man in the blue long coat, he clasped his hands together and touched the floor, causing a stone fist to pop out of the wall and after a while hit the old guy’s jaw. You opened your eyes wider, then turned away. Before you could say anything, Ed grabbed your hand and ran out of the National Library, laughing under his breath.

“I’m leaving you alone for a short moment and someone wants to take you away from me...” He said in an amused tone, squeezing your smooth hand. “All right, Y/N?”

“Yes. Thank you for coming and saving me, Ed.” You responded warmly, smiling at him, and both his cheeks reddened instantly.

“S-Stupid! Of course I would come and save you! Always!”

— KILLUA 

After defeating six dangerous prisoners, you and five men were locked in a small room as punishment. You felt quite insecure around so many males, but you chose to ignore your own unnecessary thoughts. Kurapika was very polite and totally harmless, and Gon and Killua were totally charming... You were only worried about Leorio and Tonpa’s behavior – the latter you were especially afraid of.

When everyone decided to go to sleep, you chose a place away from everyone; you covered your body with a brown blanket and pressed your face against the pillow you found. Unfortunately, shortly after falling asleep, you felt something touch your waist. You opened your eyes and turned your head, almost squeaking, as you noticed an older man in a blue T-shirt lying next to you.

You felt disgust and your heart beat faster as his hand touched your hip.

“... Kurapika? G-Gon? Killua?” You whispered softly, barely breathing. “Someone help me, p-please.” You added a little louder, but still whispering so as not to wake everyone up at once. Happily, that night (or day because all of you didn’t know what time of day right it was right now), Killua had a light sleep.

Hearing your terrified voice, he quickly opened his eyes and searched for your sleepy figure. Seeing what this disgusting, pervert guy was doing, he got up and came up to you. Then, he grabbed his clothes and threw him against the wall, waking everyone around.

“Y/N, are you okay? I’m sorry, I fell asleep and I didn’t think that would happen.” He muttered in a nervous tone and you sat up shaking your head.

“Don’t apologize to me, Killua. You were tired... but could you...” You started softly, looking away. “Could you sleep closer to me? I would rather sleep with the thought that you are next to me.”

“Yes, sure. I’ll be here. Goodnight, Y/N.” He smiled and you breathed a sigh of relief, thanking him in a soft voice and lying back down again, cuddling your head against the soft, white pillow. “... And you, old man, touch her once again and I’ll do with you what I did with Johness before.” He added warningly, looking in the direction of the sore Tonpa, who turned pale at the sound of his serious words.

— GIYUU

You were waiting for your friend next to the souvenir stand, wanting to buy something for yourself and for Giyuu. You noticed a few pretty, fabric pendants, so you chose the two most interesting and asked for them. A sweet, old lady in a peach haori packed them into a paper bag for you, and you were in the process of taking money out of your pocket when you heard a low, slightly hoarse voice.

“I will pay for this, beautiful.”

You glanced to the side and immediately noticed an older man gives grandma some money. You were surprised and stop his actions right away.

“No need, sir. I can pay for it but thank you very much.” You answered with an uncertain smile.

“I insist. As compensation, we can go to dinner at that restaurant.” He pointed his finger towards the little building and you sighed lowly.

“Thank you, really, but I’ll pay myself and I’m not hungry. I’m waiting for someone right now and then, I’ll continue my journey.” You answered a little louder and more confidently, but the older man grabbed your arm, turning your body towards him.

“Listen, sweetie. Don’t deny others their kindness, because you will be alone for the rest of your life, and no lady wants that, I am right?” He asked and you snorted under your breath.

“... Someone said she would be alone?”

You turned and then breathed a sigh of relief when you saw your dark-haired best friend who come back to you. As soon as you handed the old woman the right amount of money, you thanked her with a low bow and then quickly approaching Giyuu, hiding behind his body. The older man who had been harassing you just a moment ago left, muttering something to himself about ‘how rude young women are to men’, and then disappeared into the crowd of people. After a few, short seconds you stood beside the demon slayer and touch his haori while taking out a tiny pendant with the color of your own eyes.

“It’s for you... Lucky item, you know...” You smiled as you tied a string to his belt, next to the scabbard with a sword.

“Thank you, Y/N. Let’s go further. I bought us something tasty, so if you will hungry tell me.” He replied with a soft smile, touching the gift by his finger.

I figure the only way Giyuu would become a single father is if his wifey comes to pass. By the time he decides to start a family there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his wife and their love would be strong. So unfortunately wifey has died. Let’s just say his wife died a bit after childbirth for maximum pain.

He adores his daughter so much, especially as soon as she’s born, and he spends days looking at her with that smile of his reserved for those he loves. Even as a newborn he’d tell her that she’s beautiful and perfect then hold her close as she snooze away.

Changing diapers isn’t his fav, but he gets over it fast. He loves his daughter more than he dislikes the chore.

He LOVES feeding her. Watching her state up at him with her clear eyes as she sucks on the bottle fills his heart with joy.

When she starts to talk he immediately starts trying to get her to say “dada” or “papa” and everything she babbles he responds to as if she were talking normally. When she finally says daddy he MELTS in joy. His baby girl! She’s growing up too fast!

Teaching his baby girl to walk is his favorite in her first year. He helps stretch and work her little chubby legs strong enough. He holds her body up and gets her to stand for a second or two by herself then covers her in kisses. When she walks to him the first time and calls out “daddy” as she reaches him he can’t help but cry in joy.

When she is good at walking and can talk better it becomes time to meet the pillars. Sure they visited when she was small, but now she can talk back to them!

Misturi GUSHES about how cute his daughter is and is IN LOVE. Shinobu is like “well shit, someone likes you now” and will give him a hard time but is very proud.

You better believe Shinobu is the sassy aunt to Giyuu’s daughter. Someone has to teach the girl how to annoy her father. Seems to not work very well though because she’s always like “But I love daddy!” and sassy butterfly queen can’t break that

When baby girl starts school Giyuu is there at every chance to drop her off and pick her up. If he’s on a mission another pillar or a member of Tanjirou’s crew is there to do it. She doesn’t have to worry about a lack of love at the very least

Giyuu is a smart guy but helping his daughter at school makes him question that when she gets far enough along. He will never deny his daughter an education though, he doesn’t want to put her in a bad position.

It breaks his heart when she gets to an age that she can’t sit in his lap all the time and cuddle her, but he’s still loving in other ways. When she’s still young but a bit tall he will cover her face in kisses until she’s giggling and wiggling to get away. When she’s a teen a kiss on her forehead is the new trend for the rest of her life.

Her boy/girlfriends? One, they better not fuck with her, and two, they better fear Giyuu. He can square up with just a look. Just because he’s nearing 40 doesn’t mean he’s scared to beat a teenager’s ass for fucking with his daughter. Well, he wouldn’t hurt a girl, but he’s sure Nezuko or Mitsuri will step up for the occasion.

Much to his daughter’s disappointment there will be no family dog. Cats are good though!

He will teach his daughter how to fight when she’s old enough so she isn’t helpless when the time comes he doesn’t need to accompany her everywhere. If she expresses interest he will teach her water breathing but requests she not put her life on the line.

If she becomes a demon slayer he is scared for her and old man Giyuu will ghost her on missions. He isn’t sorry, if it makes her mad he can live with it as long as she’s safe.

There will be times that Giyuu can’t connect with his daughter. Specifically about friends and when she’s anxious about things that he believes has a simple solution. He might come off as an asshole dad when he’s like “well obviously do this”. He means well but he is very dry when directing people to act a certain way.

The weight of his daughter depending exclusively on him does make him freak out when she is born, on top of his wife’s death, and if he didn’t have Tanjirou there to help him connect with other it would have been worse. Luckily the pillars and Tanjirou’s squad stepped up to helping his with his daughter. He swears it was his wife’s last will projecting on the others to save himself and his daughter from his own anxieties.

He’s going to kick Zenitsu’s ass for general purposes. He has a daughter. Enough said.

Taisho era hangover child holder. His baby girl is strapped to his chest and he doesn’t care if it looks dorky or not. She is his pride and joy, dammit.

Dork dad? Dork dad. He has no sense of “what is cool” in his prime and definitely doesn’t as she gets older.

Saved his wife’s kimonos and haoris for his daughter. Part of his wife’s clothing is put into his haori not long after she passes. It’s a weird ass fashion memorial when you think about it.

When he gets older he lets his daughter have his haori, saying that everyone else he’s ever loved will be there to watch over her with it. In spirit there’s uncle Sabito and his own sister watching over his daughter

He will treasure his baby girl forever and ever. No matter how old she gets he will pick her up for hugs until his body won’t let him anymore.

Forehead kisses? Forehead kisses. Always and forever, no matter how embarrassed she gets.

He probably won’t remarry or consider a relationship after his wife’s passing. His only focus is on his daughter and feels like pursuing romance would not be fair to her. Tbh he will die a widower.

It takes a village, or in this case the entire demon corps, to raise a child. I’m fact the first baby to be born into it! Yay for less families killed, hopefully

When his daughter is old enough to realize she doesn’t have a mother is breaks his heart. He tries to give her all the love he can but there’s only so much one person can give, especially since he closed himself off for so long.

Regardless he loves his baby girl and will cut a bitch for her.

Best line from Giyuu in regards to his daughter, fucking minutes after his wife dies and he’s having a full blow mental breakdown:

“I know I’ve had my daughter for 45 minutes but I’ll kill everyone in this room and then myself if anything happens to her”
