wokay geog took me a lil longer than expected i guess i 'overthought' and went searching for a few more articles to read up on? but still it was interesting to make connections between what i was studying and the natural disasters that are happening in the world right now. i find that relevance to real life makes studying easier and it was heartwarming to see all the instances when the international community rallied together to help disaster victims :")

moving on i hope to finish a math paper and chinese paper in the afternoon;-; it's gonna be a lil tough but i have faith in my writing speed HAHAHA

My science mark is my lowest mark rn, because a couple of bad quizzes and a lab that my team didn’t do too great on. This is a big test tho, so hopefully I’ll do good enough on it that it won’t matter!!! Wish me luck :)

hi, i’m emily!! and after having lurked on here for a while but never actually starting my own studyblr, @lifewithliekee‘s november challenge finally made me want to actually start my own studyblr for real

some facts about me

i’m 16

i’m from the netherlands

i’m in 5 gymnasium, the dutch equivalent of junior year or lower 6th form

i grew up bilingual (dutch and english) so now i really love learning languages

i’m a ravenclaw but unfortunately not the hardworking kind

when i’m not studying (which is most of the time) i enjoy watching netflix, dancing, bullet journaling and petting my cat

also i’m constantly having crises about uhh every aspect of my life including but not limited to my sexuality, school and life choices

my main is phansterdam (yes i run a phan blog AND WHAT ABOUT IT)

my classes

in dutch secondary education you have to choose a profile which dictates which subjects you can/have to choose. i have the e+m profile (economics and society) and so my subjects this year are:

dutch

english

french

german

accelerated ancient greek

economics

history

philosophy

maths a (also known as easy maths)

literature in context

classical cultural education (ckv/kcv in dutch)

and last and absolutely least, gym

goals

improve my study habits before my final year exams

make some new friends

get more motivated + stop procrastinating so much

Hello everyone!

Welcome to @cactusandstudies

My name is Sarah and I’m Peruvian. As English is not my first language you will understand if I make any grammar mistake.

I’m currently studying my fourth year of high school.

Here we don’t manage SAT, GPA and all the other tests or programs used in USA. The education system is totally different so many of the terms are unknown for me. Also, our grades go from 0-20.

The subjects I take are: Math, Science, History, Literature and English. (Those are the principal ones)

I really really like Math and Science so most of the posts will be about those subjects.

Out of school, reading is my favorite activity.

I think a studyblr is a very good idea to inspire others and maintain my productivity.

2. when was the last time you cried? earlier this week when I was super sick but I realized I still had to do hours of homework anyways

5. what’s your eye colour? light brown (but in direct light sometimes a little greenish)

STUDYBLR PENPALS INTERNATIONAL

hi guys! this is the official pen pals post for the studyblr community!!

what is “SPPI"

SPPI stands for studyblr pen pals international! essentially what this is is a studyblr pen pals community for people all over the world (hence international) i decided to start this community because i know school can be stressful and i want to bring together people who want friends or want someone to rant to, and to make new friends who share common interests!

how to join “SPPI”

the whole goal of this is to have as many people as possible, which is why it's very simple to join. all you have to do is make an intro post where you introduce yourself, talk about your interests, age, name, where you live, etc. :) make sure to tag your SPPI posts with “SPPI” so people can see them

the pen pal system

so i was thinking of pen pals through gmail, meaning on your intro post leave your gmail so people can email you! :) if you are emailing with someone and want to start sending written letters, go for it! but for now this community will start online to make it easier! :) other ways of communicating once you've emailed a couple of times could be mail, skype, texting, instagram, and more!!
