i need people to start paying me for every time they tell me "oh but ur arts so good ur wasting ur talent u need to do it professionally" wrong i need to do art to draw beautiful characters that not a single other person cares about while feeding every ounce of love i have into my work or to convey thoughts & feelings beyond words and to even think of doing otherwise is to deny my own nature "oh but u can do what u want and then sell it" why is everything about money to you why cant u just enjoy things at what point in ur life did u forget how to have fun

#i hate that this stance is also seen as childish #like i have a full time job & often have mandatory overtime i have income already #if u need to to make ends meet then thats different do what u can to help urself live as comfortably as possible #but holy fuck pleasure as an adult is not limited to sex & money & watching tv #besides u know not a single one of the people who say this are willing to actually pay what the arts worth #its like 'well not me but other people would love it!' yeah okay u know a lot of other people are going to see the #over $100 price tag and go 'i like it but not that much! other people however' like just shut up. honestly. be quiet. #if i speed ran my art and low balled myself to a $15/hour rate the lowest would still be like $120 #which is not worth it AT ALL bc i just paid MORE to sit on my ass & look at eggs #and. again. is underselling myself for both experience & time. but people think $80 full body comms are too expensive #do u think im so stupid to not expect to get scammed when even 'easy' things are over $100 #but no ur right why would i have fun with something when i could instead cause myself infinite stress over it perfect thanks #do not give me advice about doing comms i do not want to do comms #if u see me doing comms im in a very dire situation. like thats a last resort for me.

criteria for purchasing art:

- you must be 18+ to request ns.fw art - all transactions are done through paypal - what you see is what you get

will draw:

- fandom characters [irl movies/shows and book characters may be difficult] - animals, scenery, and space-scapes - furry, anthro, etc. depending on complexity - ns.fw and specific kinks (ask me and i’ll tell you if i will or won’t) - “mascots” or personas (i will not draw portraits of real people)

won’t draw

- illegal content (underage/b.estiality/racism etc. The Obvious No-No’s) - “hate” art of people’s original characters - mecha (its just really fuckin hard) - ship art of minors with adults (ew?)

available tiers:

“doodle” sketch [base price: $12] this is my preferred tier, so i’d prefer to sell these the most! these will be completed the fastest and are the most comfortable for my style increments: +4 for fullbody, +2 per add. character (if over two), +5 for “detailed” bg, +12 for ns.fw

line art [base price: $16] more or less just a “cleaned-up” doodle, with more care towards cleaner lines. these aren’t really my favorite, but that’s because I hate cleaning my lines increments: +10 for fullbody, +4 per add. character (if over two), +10 for detailed bg, +12 for ns.fw

flat colors or colored line art [base price: $18 / $22] prices vary exclusively on the colors requested meaning: mono/bi/achromatic (0-3 color palettes) are $18 “full” color (anything outside of my color style or custom palettes) is $22 increments: +12 for fullbody, +4 per add. character (if over two), +12 for detailed bg, +14 for ns.fw

shaded+colored line art aka “paintings” [base price: $30] okay these are really hard to complete under a deadline as this tier requires the highest level of time and effort, so i may be selective with these based off of how complicated the piece seems to be. addendum: depending on the complexity, i may ask for half payment up front to ensure that you intend to purchase the final piece. i will refund your money if you genuinely decide you don’t like the progress made before you purchase the final product.  your patronage will always mean more to me than money. :)

btw if y'all think gif makers who sell packs on payhip or kofi for $1 each are making bank, here are the 43 cents I made today lmao

don't get me wrong, I do charge more for bigger packs (or packs that were harder to color) but I can guarantee you that the people who sell most of their packs for $1 are not out here getting rich

#i just think it's funny that sometimes there's a perception that people who sell gif packs are like greedy and whatnot #when I got essentially 43% of the listing price due to fees from payhip and paypal #it's due to it being a low number tho bc I think payhip takes like a certain percentage and then paypal takes like 50 cents + a percentage? #or the other way around #but basically when you have low prices you get fucked lmao #for like a $10 pack I usually get around $8 after fees so it's not as bad #but i'm not going to raise my prices and put that onto the person who's just trying to get some gifs #also I do appreciate the $0.43! like money is money and the fact that someone is willing to spend it on my gifs is really cool #but we ain't out here quitting our day jobs for this lmao #comms tho? those do help a lot #also i'm not complaining I just want y'all to know it's really not like a moneymaker lmao

Well, the fact my ONLY method of paying for my sub has been taken from me means I'll have to find other ways to get actual money, and it got my mother and I talking about getting me a bank account earlier. I'm not gonna take commissions until I have a phone and a bank account so I'll be set.

#I've given up on Social Security but I need money somehow #we've been fighting literally my Entire Life to get them to acknowledge I'm disabled but to them I'm not disabled ENOUGH #and I know I won't get many customers for comms at least starting out so I'm gonna set the bar low #I wanna at least be able to buy my time cards and a single comm will get that for me I think with the prices I set
