I hatehow capitalism has ruined hobbies. People don't do stuff just for fun anymore. It's always gotta turn into a side hustle that makes money or "it's dumb and pointless".

"Wow you're really good at that! You ever thought about charging people for _____?" Yes, I have thought about it and I'm quite aware. No, I don't do this for other people for money. It just taints things because now you HAVE to do this thing or you will be homeless/hungry/broke/destitute. Now I need a release from my release! Why can't people just do things because they make them happy and bring them joy? Everything doesn't have to be a side hustle. My hobbies are my disconnect from work and life so I have a need to keep them disconnected.
