It’s National Library Week!

The Montana Avenue Branch Library opened as a storefront library in February 1952 in a rented building at 1528-30 Montana Avenue (see the bottom image). After seven years, the library's circulation climbed past 80,000 items, outgrowing its rented space. Two lots on Montana Avenue were purchased, and in August 1959, groundbreaking ceremonies were conducted at 1704 Montana Avenue. Designed by Weldon Fulton, the new Montana Branch opened to much fanfare on March 1, 1960.

Aku hanya ingin kamu pahami, seberapa kamu berpikir bahwa diriku yang selalu memikirkan kelompok lain, tanpa memperdulikan semua usaha mu itu SALAH. Aku selalu memprioritaskan kamu sebelum kamu yang selalu menyudahi semua masalah tanpa berpikir.

Kini aku pergi bukan karena sudah tidam menyayangi mu, aku pergi karena sangat menyayangi mu yang tidak ingin dirimu selalu menyerah dan bersedih. Kau tidak pernah tau apa yang aku rasakan betapa hancurnya aku tanpa mu saat ini, tapi aku sadar sebagaimana pun aku bertahan aku akan selalu di anggap penghancur.

Aku ingin kamu bahagia, aku ingin kamu tersenyum. Aku menyayangi mu sangat menyayangi mu. Tidak ada siapapun yang menggantikan kamu saat ini.
