Rambling thoughts of various Yuri manga I’ve read

1. Kase-San and Yamada (Morning Glories sequel series) by Hiromi Takashima

notice how Kase’s name is first, which is representative of her being the main one to cause problems in their relationship

If you asked me what my favorite yuri manga was like 2-3 years ago, I’d say Morning Glories and Kase San everytime. Every avid yuri fan has either read or watched Morning Glories because, at the time in 2010, it was groundbreaking, and I stand by the fact that the original series still holds up to this day. It was cute, sweet, wholesome and only had a few obligatory “we love each other but we’re giRLs😳😳😳” moments. Most of all it wasn’t a pseudo-incest-straight-male-porn-pandering-garbage-fest—also known as “Citrus”. Was it cliche at times? Yes, but they all are lol. Did they add to the dumb ass “blonde femme and dark hair masc” trope? Also yes. But it was adorable and it was my first ever yuri so it holds a special place in my heart.

And it SEEMED like it was only going to get better in Kase San and Yamada, the sequel. The girls would be heading to college and the story could theoretically focus on more mature topics while they navigate their new relationship. Keyword: theoretically. Unfortunately, instead of exploring interesting relationship dynamics and storylines, the plot of each story arc boils down to: Kase is insecure because a man breathed next to Yamada or Kase is being completely insensitive to Yamada’s feelings…again…—> ✨miscommunication drama ✨—>big over dramatic apology scene—>boring makeup sex or other romantic gesture.

Literally that’s how every single plotline goes. Kase is so goddamn dumb and insensitive to Yamada’s feelings and Yamada’s a complete doormat who can only stay mad for 0.2 seconds before getting pussy whipped like a spineless ass bitch. And for all that Yamada sacrifices for Kase; her hometown, her dreams, her apartment, what does she get in return from Kase? Oh that’s right; bare minimum romantic gestures and a neglectful partner who can’t even call her “girlfriend” in front of others:

Like I thought we were over this shit. It’s been THREE years of them together, a whole anime production, and god knows how many irl years and we’re going back to “we love each other but we’re giRLs😳😳😳” WHY???

And then Kase later goes onto bet her entire three year relationship over the ugly bitch in the next panel, so now I’m questioning whether or not Kase even loves Yamada with the amount of bullshit she’s put her through. Which COULD be an interesting plot point, but Kase never gets any consequences for her actions and the creator genuinely thinks this is romantic and full of tension so I’m 10000% positive that this arc, just like all the others, will end with some makeup sex and we’ll be right back to step 1. Sigh.

2. Tamen De Gushi by Tan Jiu

Tamen De Gushi’s problems are interesting but it’s NOT because of the Chinese government💀

So today’s dark haired masc and blonde femme of the day are Sun Jing and Qiu Tong, respectively. Their personalities aren’t anything to write home about, if you read ANY high school yuri romance, then you know exactly what happens in this story beat for beat. But, BUT, however derivative it is, I find their dynamic very endearing and down to earth. Idk maybe it’s just the translation, but other yuri stories often have this very inauthentic “anime” vibe to it. Which is to say the characters act very cutesy, overly dramatic, and have this stilted, caricature-esque acting of how the creator thinks teenage girls are supposed act.

However, I’m happy to report that Tamen De Gushi is a breath of fresh air in this regard. The characters and interactions they have are grounded and feel organic, which makes them feel like real people, not aliens pretending to be human. This really elevates the humor in turn, oh did I mention that Tamen De Gushi is super funny? Because Tamen De Gushi is super funny, here’s one of my favorite panels and it’s all because of Sun Jing’s goofy ahh expression:

If you’re wondering why I haven’t spoke much about the actual romantic relationship between the girls, that’s because there isn’t one💀 Which, okay, that’s not a fair assessment, they have a ton of romantic tension and they flirt a lot. It’s certainly building to a great romantic relationship, but it can’t quite get there due to legal/political reasons sadly. 😔

Edit: I received new information in regards to what happened to Tamen De Gushi. While I reached my limit for posting pictures, I want to point out that the Chinese government had nothing to do with Tamen De Gushi getting censored, rather it was a dispute between the author and the publishing company. The prior information I received was false and I prob should’ve looked it up more so sorrrry. The fact still remains though that after their big lesbian kiss towards the middle of the story and maybe a few other moments, that’s just kind of it. You’re stuck waiting for something to develop, but nothing really happens. The comic very quickly becomes a collection of slice of life segments and cute pictures that imply a relationship between the girls, but not really ;) ;). Now things are just kind of left in purgatory for the foreseeable future and, well, that’s Tamen De Gushi y’all.

Compared to Kase San and Yamada, the characters were much better, which is not saying much, but without an actual romantic storyline, there’s just not a lot for me to comment on to be honest. It’s really pretty though, look at this art :

3. Beauty and the Beast Girl by Neji

my personal favorite and the BEST yuri I ever read

So next on the list is Beauty and the Beast Girl (I’m going to abbreviate to BatBG from here on) , which I already spoiled my feelings on the matter so this will basically be me gushing about this story for several paragraphs straight, enjoy.

Contrary to what the title suggests, it really has nothing to do with Beauty and the Beast’s story except in name. The main girls are Lily Blind, who is actually fucking blind 💀 and Heath the monster girl. Already I’m happy because instead of blonde femme and dark hair butch, it’s blonde femme and of-course-you-have-purple-hair-and-pronouns masc. Lol, all jokes aside, Lily, unlike her blonde femme counterparts is quite assertive and voices her opinions all the time. In fact, she’s the one who pushes Heath to be more open and communicate with her rather than the other way around. This is, in part, due to the story BatBG is trying to tell. I say BatBG is in name only to Beauty and the Beast because Lily isn’t trying to find the “beauty” within Heath or learning to love a beast or whatever, she’s fine just the way she is and her love for Heath is unconditional. Plus the only thing beastly about Heath is her appearance…which I’ll harp on later, but her behavior is in no way different from a regular human except in very rare, specific moments.

At its heart, BatBG is a story about forgiveness (the creator literally says as much) , but it’s also about the cycle of violence that results from being outcasted and deprived of love. BatBG is set in a world of humans and monsters, where the monsters are outcasted and either have to stay away from human society like Heath or assimilate themselves by hiding away their monster like traits, which is a really queer narrative on top of an already queer story. I don’t want to go into too much spoilers, but sometime before the beginning of the story, Heath in-directly hurts Lily before they ever meet. However, it’s not about Lily needing to forgive Heath, or trying to get over the pain she inflicted upon her, rather its Heath learning to forgive herself and in effect, learning to love herself as much as Lily loves her.

Another big aspect of BatBG is disabilities, Lily Blind is in fact Blind lol and while there are times she struggles with her blindness, she never views her disability as something she needs to be ashamed of and never, ever, blames Heath for it or holds it against her unlike what many, many, many, many other stories end up doing. Her blindness isn’t treated like a super power either, it’s a legitimate disability. She just accepts that it’s a part of her and goes onto say that if not for her blindness, she would’ve never met the love of her life, which I found to be an incredibly profound thing to say.

Now that I’ve gotten this far, I suppose I can add a bit of a disclaimer. So BatBG is waaaaay more explicit about the physical affection between the girls than in any of the previous stories I talked about. Heath and Lily are constantly kissing on, hugging, and almost always flirting with each other, and make no mistake, these girls do be fucking. The sex scenes are never perverted or gross, but genuinely super sweet and romantic, which makes it way hotter imo (huh imagine that🤔). And aside from being hot, it also serves a purpose! Lily’s pretty damn horny underneath all her nice girl antics and while it’s not a major part of her character, it does give a slight edge to her personality and, most importantly, balances out the dynamic between Heath and Lily. It would’ve been very easy to fall into that boring trope where Heath is aggressively horny and Lily is the submissive blind girl, but by making Lily be the one to initiate the sexual encounters, it not only compliments Heath’s more reserved nature, but breaks the stereotype that people with disabilities are pure precious being who couldn’t possibly have sex, which is ableist af btw. Many people think the existence of any sex scenes at all is superfluous, but in BatBG, it truly elevates the story, the characters, and the romance in ways that wouldn’t be nearly as satisfying without it.

Now, with as much praise I gave BatBG, there is one criticism I have, but it’s a quibble really, and it can be explained in a single image:

There is a dissonance between the story and the art, the story says: “Heath is a big, ugly scary monster”

The art says:

And like yes, it can be argued that Heath is simply regurgitating the things bigoted people have said to her, but at no point in the story is this ever challenged or brought up in any meaningful way. Lily is blind so she doesn’t know what the hell she looks like and the other characters aren’t any help either. It’s not a big deal or anything, it just would’ve elevated the story if Heath was actually kinda ugly/more monstrous and not incredibly beautiful because right now it’s giving skinny girl who calls herself fat all the time, and it’s like, babe, who tf are you fooling? 😭

Other than that, BatBG is incredibly profound despite its premise being so deceptively simple and I love it to pieces so …yeah! READ IT.

4. Superwomen in Love! Honey Trap and Rapid Rabbit by sometime

Well, at least there are no blondes

So imma just abbreviate to SiL btw

Alright, let’s get started. The premise is that a villainess falls for the super hero girl and then that plotline is dropped in about 16 pages. I’m not even joking, the villainess falls for the hero, loses her job as a villain and then joins the hero all in one chapter. The REAL plot is actually about a council of evil alien-humans who want to destroy humanity because of generic super villain reason #434: the leader of the aliens is sad and misunderstood :( I’m not even going to lie, I had 0 interest in “X” (the generic ass name of the main villain) and her band of useless lesbians. They did literally nothing in the story except be a nuisance and contribute to X’s incel breakdown at the end. Their inclusion actively made SiL worse because the story has this weird tonal problem where in one breath the villains are portrayed as complete jokes and then you turn the page and now they’re shooting children like girl what💀 And these useless lesbians hog sooooo much of SiL that desperately needed to be given to Honey trap and Hayate to develop their relationship.

When the story DOES actually focus on Honey Trap and Hayate, it’s pretty good, even cute at times, there just wasn’t enough time given to them to flesh their relationship out. As it stands, Honey Trap and Hayate don’t have much of a dynamic, or personality for that matter. Honey Trap’s main gimmick is that she’s extremely horny for Hayate and delulu:

Aside from that, she’s a great value version of Heath, but even a watered down character is better than, like, nothing. All I really know about Hayate is that she’s nice, heroic, likes wearing tacky clothes and ….that’s it. She loves Honey Trap because…………they fought together a few times so why not🤷‍♀️ I’d say at least that’s better than Tamen De Gushi, but actually it’s not because these grown ass women don’t even kiss , all we get is a love confession and their gremlin love child and that’s supposed to be satisfying I guess.

And the worst part is that SiL has the audacity to pretend the romance was something that it clearly wasn’t:

Girl…yall were “””enemies””” for 10 panels.

Now, it’s stated they have been rivals for a while, but I guess Honey Trap forgot all of that because the moment she sees Hayate’s face, my good sis is pussy whipped for life. And that’s in spite of apparently being the evilest one out of the evil group because Honey Trap has no grudge or baggage toward Hayate. She immediately turns good with no issues and Hayate is only distrustful of Honey Trap for 1 or 2 speech bubbles and then she’s not. Anything else that happened was off screen, which means it didn’t happen. Ironically, the very next entry on this list will do a MUCH better job at an ex-villain love story, but for SiL, there’s just not much going on.

Another reading of this story is to call it a “parody” but…no, it isn’t. SiL isn’t a comedy, yes there are comedic moments that poke fun of the genre, but the rest of the story genuinely wants you to take it seriously. Except it can’t. X and her league of dimwits are boring as piss and they oscillate between Saturday morning cartoon villains and child murderers seemingly on a whim. So I can neither be endeared to them nor take them as a serious threat. Honey Trap and Hayate are there, but I lament on all the potential lost from what could’ve been an amazing relationship.

5. Yamujiburo/Kianamaiart’s Hanamusa webcomic

This one is kind of cheating, but I also don’t care let me talk about hot MILFs💀

So the final entry on this list is a webcomic series by one of my fave artist: kianamaiart! And it’s right here on tumblr so check it out!

I stumbled upon this webcomic a few weeks ago, fell in love and now I want to talk about it. This yuri pair thankfully has no blonde femme in sight and instead features two popular Pokémon characters: Jessie from Team Rocket and Delia Ketchum, Ash Ketchum’s mom. What I love about this ship and the world Kiana creates around them is that it’s a very unconventional pairing. There’s just not many romances where a single mom falls in love with an ex gang member and the best part is, Delia being a mom is a big part of her character and she doesn’t ignore Ash in favor of her new relationship with Jessie. She has time for both and doesn’t prioritize one over the other, which many ppl fail to do even irl so good on you Delia!

Now, as for the romance it self, Jessie and Delia are a unique pair. Jessie’s overconfident, brash, drama queen personality doesn’t automatically put her in the “dominant” role and Delia’s sweet, motherly personality doesn’t automatically put her in the “submissive” role. Their dynamic in the webcomic actually plays out in the reverse, Jessie is the one who gets easily flustered and Delia’s…intense, to say the least:

This subversion of these tropes creates a fun dynamic for the couple and it’s super adorable to see how their energies bounce off each other in each new situation Kiana puts them in. I also love how both Jessie and Delia inspire each other to live out their dreams and they become better versions of themselves by being together.

And one last thing, I don’t have any smart commentary to go along with this, I just really like this drawing of Jessie:

Final Thoughts

Soooo yeah, that’s the end of my dissertation on yuri comics. I know I ended up dragging a lot of popular yuri, but it wasn’t my intention to make you guys hate any of things I talked about. These were just my thoughts as an avid yuri fan, so let me know your thoughts as well, especially if you read any of the yuri I talked about. And even though I’m super picky about the type of yuri I read, I’d still love to hear any recommendations. Who knows, it might dethrone the undefeated champ that is Beauty and the Beast Girl.

your silent prayers are ignored as footsteps approach. you take a step back from the wall of products, forcing yourself to look up at the stranger. your jaw almost drops at the sight of him, oh god, you’re thinking to yourself, why is he hot 😭

there andy stands in all of his glory, the epitome of dilfy deliciousness with his worn navy t-shirt and scruffy beard. scratching his head a bit awkwardly, he greets you, “hey, sorry. didn’t meant to startle you. can i help you find anything?”

your heart’s pounding in your throat as you look around stupidly before your eyes return to the absolute unit of a man before you. you blink like a deer in the headlights. oh my god. he works here, you’re a little slow to put things together

andy sees your surprise, letting out a gentle chuckle. “i’m the owner,” he explains. “you okay, honey? you look like you’ve seen a ghost”

a part of you knows this is an extremely sketchy situation. you’re alone in a sex shop with a dude probably twice your age (who apparently owns the place), out in a town you can’t remember the name of, with nothing to defend yourself except your two bare hands (which are now shaking)

but there’s something about the man before you that you just find so… warm? disarming? (…attractive? 😳) the gentle smile on his face, the way he softens his voice when he senses your nervousness...

you’re a little ball of conflicting feelings, half nerves and half head-over-heels for this unknown man. again, you blink, unable to find your voice to respond

“you’re alright, just take it easy,” he tries to help you relax. “this your first time in a place like this?” all you can manage is a nod. he gives you an understanding smile, “that’s perfectly fine. i’m here to help. can you tell me what you’re looking for, sweetheart?”

your eyes glance quickly back at the wall of toys in front of you before returning to him. he must see the increasing humiliation on your face. “u-um…” you’re finally able to stutter, “i-i don’t… i’m not… i guess i'm…”

he’s so patient and attentive it’s only making the butterflies in your tummy worse 😭 “not sure where to start?” he finishes for you. when you nod, he hums thoughtfully, “that’s okay, honey. do you have anything already that you like? is this for you to use on your own?"

you grit your teeth, nodding through the waves of embarrassment. “d-don’t have anything, sir. looking for something to start out with”

“i see,” he nods, looking over the selection on the wall before the two of you. “a bullet is a great beginner toy. simple, quiet, different levels of intensity to fit your needs. do you like clitoral stimulation?”

you have to fight yourself to keep from rubbing your thighs together right then and there 😩 something about the way he’s talking you through everything is sooo 🥲🥲 a feeling of dread hits as you realize you’re already getting wet

you clumsily accept the box, looking it over briefly. “there are instructions on the inside. the internet can be helpful too,” he suggests. the burning in your tummy worsens as he sees right through you, sniffing your complete innocence and inexperience with ease

“o-okay. this looks good. thank you,” you agree

“of course,” he nods with a sheepish smile. “once you get comfortable with that, we can work you up to something more sophisticated” you never implied that you’d be returning to him, but now that he’s said it, you know you couldn’t refuse. “and if you have any trouble, you can always come see me. i got a room in the back, we can take some time and find what works for you”

Your cell phone doesn't stop vibrating with notifications, since last night you decided (as a family) to post pictures of yourselves on insta and, as expected, some fans went completely crazy, but too crazy in your opinion. There were many good comments, and you really appreciated them, as there were also very, very bad and ugly comments talking about you and Lily and what hurts you the most is that it's not your or her fault.

Right now you are lying in bed next to Charles, he has one arm on your waist and you are lying on his chest, even though your head hasn't stopped spinning thousands of times, the beat of his heart calms you incredibly and you really loved that.

Suddenly you hear the bedroom door open and small footsteps echo in the silent room.

“Mama? Up! Up!” Lily says from the foot of the bed, trying to climb up.

“Oh, come here darling!” You say while you move a little without waking Charles so you can put Lily on the bed next to you.

She smiles. “Dada?” she asked.

“Dada is sleeping baby, but we can sleep with him too, don't you think?” you said to her softly, she nodded.

She moved onto your other side and you covered her with the blanket you and Charles were using. She snuggled up next to you while you tried to fall asleep even just a little. These quiet moments are what fill you with calm and make you have hope that not everything is bad, you have a nice family, a healthy and happy little girl, a wonderful boyfriend who would go to the moon for you two and there's not much more you can ask for. This is everything you ever dreamed of having.

Suddenly Charles babbles something a little sleepy. “Mhm, good morning princesses!” He says and you let out a giggle.

“Good morning champ!” you say as you give him a kiss on the cheek.

“Dada! Mowning!” Lily says making hands so that her dad can hold her in his arms.

“Oh, but what a nice good morning I have here! Ma petite fleur and ma belle” He says as he brushes his nose against Lily's and smiles. (my little flower. my beautiful.)

“Yes, especially with online comments.” You say releasing a sigh.

He looks at you curious. “What kind of comments, my dear? Don't tell me you read those comments?”

You nodded. “Sadly yes, it's just that... I couldn't help it, sorry love.”

He denied. “You shouldn't apologize to me love, they are the wrong ones! They don't know you and they don't know Lily to have an opinion about you or our little family.” He looked at you and smiled and then kissed you on the corners of your lips. “So you don't have to apologize to me, okay? I love you two very much and I hope you know it, honey.” He says as he starts giving you kisses on your face, Lily starts bouncing in his arms and you laugh.

You nod with a shy smile on your face. “Okay sir, I won't apologize to you but it does bother me that they are that way, you know?”

“I know love, but don't waste your energy on that, there are more important things than that. Like, for example, Lily!” He says smiling at the aforementioned and she giggles. “Look at her, isn't she cute? Because yes she is, a cutie!”

You giggle. “Fine, fine. How about we get up and start this day properly, okay? What would you like for breakfast, my loves?”

“Pancakes!” They both say in unison, you smile and get out of bed.

The rest of the day passed peacefully, and you were truly grateful. You liked being in this little bubble of love and comfort building colourful block towers with Lily and Charles, but sometimes it was necessary to show a little bit of that love that you have as a family to the world, and perhaps many people are bothered by that, but at the same time there are many who don't.

But seeing the smile on your baby girl face every time her dada tickles her or hugs her is priceless and it makes you think that you are really in the right place.

“Love? What are you thinking about honeybunch?” he asked softly while holding Lily in his arms.

“Nothing, I'm just so happy to be with you. It sounds silly, but you guys make me so so happy.”

He smiled. “Aww, love. That is so cute! I am also very happy to be with you two!”

Lily, feeling the love, begins to giggle a few times. “Mama! Dada! Love!”

You giggle. “We love you too baby!” you say in unison.

You more than anyone know that with the photos being posted on Insta, your parents are going to want to try to get back into your life. And it really doesn't make any sense since they turned their back on you many times and now they want to come back to see how much money they can "get" from you or Charles is very stupid.

“Do you know what terrifies me? That my parents, seeing the photos of us on social media, want to come back into my life, you know? After everything they did to me...” You were going to continue but he silenced you with a kiss on the lips.

“Princess, don't think about that. Yes, they most likely want to get back into your life and Lily's, but you know what? It's up to you to make them come in or not.” he whispers.

“Who are you and what did you do with my Charles? I didn't know this philosophical Charles.” he laughs.

“Sometimes I have to use logic honey, I'm not just a pretty driver.” you let out a laugh while he winks. “But honestly baby, don't think about that... How about we watch a movie together?”

Suddenly, almost automatically, Lily smiled. “Movie! Can we 'atch... Princess movies?” she asked softly.

Charles smiled and caressed her hair. “But of course honey! We can watch any princess movie you want!”

You smiled and got up from the floor. “Okay, I'll look for a blanket and I'll look for Mimi too!”

“Mimi!” Lily screeched and you giggled.

“Okay okay, you two stay there.” You say as you walk towards Lily's room to look for her stuffed bunny Mimi. “What movie will we see, loves?” You ask from the hallway.

“Tangled!” They say in unison, you just laugh while grabbing the blanket, that's yours and Lily's favorite movie and little by little it has become Charles' favorite —although he was a little reluctant to watch princess movies but he loves them.

You return to the living room where Lily and Charles are already settled on the sofa with some sweets and a small glass of water for Lily. “Tangled it is then!” You say as you hand Mimi to Lily while she snuggles between the two of you and the three of you shelter under the blanket.

He nodded. “Yup! We have our own little bubble of love here, a sleepy little princess, and I have you.” he gives you a small peck on your lips. “There may be some... little problems along the way of course, but I don't think that will be an impediment for us.” he smiled at you.

“Aww, babe. That's so sweet!” you blush slightly at his cute words. “I know that not everything is rosy and there will be some problems, but I don't think it is impossible for us.”

He smiles and kisses you on the lips, it was a slow and sweet kiss, after a little while you separated to catch your breath. “As long as I am with you both nothing bad would happen to you, okay?” He said and you just nodded with a smile on your face, really with him both you and Lily felt protected.

A couple of weeks have passed since that night, and the truth is that everything is going quite well, no one hates you and Lily on social media anymore, apparently they managed to understand that you are a family... And by "understand" you mean that Charles posted an extremely long post on Instagram to make it clear that if people (or the "fans") hate his family will have to deal with him.

“Calm down little butterfly, I've finished combing your hair, okay?” you say tenderly to Lily as she plays with Mimi.

“Okay mama.” she giggled softly.

You finish fixing her hair when there is a knock on the door, you are not waiting for anyone, Charles had gone out to buy some groceries but other than that you weren't waiting for someone else. So very cautiously, you walk towards the door and look through the peephole to see who it is.

“What... What he does... here?” You whisper to yourself, on the other side of the door is your ex-partner.

You feel your body start to shake, this can't be happening! How did he manage to find out where you live? You're honestly terrified to think that he might take Lily, but to be honest, coming back after almost three years of abandoning you both when you were pregnant it's pretty stupid and dumb.

With trembling hands you manage to write a quick message to Charles which, surprisingly, he read immediately and replied with “I'm on my way bubba. Don't worry everything will be fine <3” You let out a sigh and very carefully looked through the peephole again, he is still standing there with a face that is not at all pleasant.

With a heavy sigh you slightly opened the door. “What are you doing here?”

He smiled coquettishly. “I thought about paying my girls a visit.”

You cleared your throat. “Oh really? After almost three years, really? Besides we were never "your girls", so if you can go away I would be very grateful” You say with a coarse, serious and annoying voice.

He sighs heavily. “Do you have another man?” He says with anger. “Answer me, bitch.”

You roll your eyes. “So what if I have it or not? It's not your fucking problem!” You say exasperated.

He looks at you again with anger and hatred. “You are with that fucking little driver? Oh really? You are such a little whore, looking for new sticks to insert in your holes.”

“Please, stop now, please.” you whisper, begging him to leave you alone. “Stop this please.”

He didn't listen to you and slapped you in the face, the raw sound echoed in the hallway of the building, you were perplexed in your place with your red eyes full of tears. This was common when you were together? Yes, sadly it was, but you couldn't do anything, you were too young and, according to your parents, he was the "right man" for you... What a crap.

“Mama?” You heard Lily's soft voice and before your ex could hit you again you took her into your arms.

You looked at Lily with a somewhat sad face. “It's okay cutie pie, mama is here.” you whisper.

He looked at you both like you were fresh meat. “Is that Lily? Come to daddy sweetheart.” It's ironic how one moment he was hitting you and now he wants to play house with you and Lily, totally abnormal.

Lily looked at your ex and started whining. “You not ma' dada.” Lily said in a stammer.

“I know darling, dada is going to be here soon, I promise.” you whispered again.

He frowned and became angry again. “So, you're really with that little driver, huh? Oh little bitch, you'll see.” He said with his voice full of rage and egocentrism.

You closed your eyes and covered Lily as you waited for the impact of, perhaps, another slap or perhaps something worse, but that impact never came. Half open your eyes to watch as Charles held your ex's wrist with one hand and grabbed the door frame with the other.

“Listen, I don't know who the fuck you are but I'll just say one thing and I hope it's clear to you.” Charles said with a strong voice, you had never seen him so angry, well, only a couple of times when he got angry with his track engineer, but nothing more than that. “You come to touch a measly inch of my wife and daughter and I swear to you that you won't have an easy time finding a job or even a partner later on, is that clear?” he said rudely.

“You're just a fucking driver, what are you going to do to me? Run over me?” Your ex said.

Charles laughed sarcastically and without grace. “Please, I am capable of making your life miserable.” he smiled sinisterly. “Now if you allow me, could you get out of here? I want to spend time with my wife and daughter, and if that bothers you and you want to cause another stupid scene, I can call security.” he said in a serious voice.

As if it were a warning, the building security appeared and took your ex-partner away from your apartment door, you let out a sigh of relief and hug Charles with Lily in your arms and he hugs you back. You let out the suppressed tears in your eyes, it has been so long since you felt so much fear and terror and the fact that Lily has been present terrifies you even more, he begins to rub your and Lily's back very carefully.

“He's gone baby, let it out, there's no pressure.” Charles said in a whisper as you entered the apartment again.

You let out a little whimper. “I don't know what... I don't know what he was doing here, how he found us... I was very scared.” He caressed your face a little and then separated and looked for the bag with the groceries that he left in the hallway. “I don't what he wanted Cha... I'm... I'm sorry” you whisper he wiped your tears with his thumb.

“Baby... You don't have to apologize for his shitty attitude, the important thing is that I arrived on time, don't you think? And besides, you and Lily are safe, which is the most important thing.” he said. “Although, I can help you place a restraining order against him, if you wish.”

You blinked a few times. “Really? Charlie, it's not necessary, you know?” he shook his head multiple times.

“Love, you have to do it. It's for your safety and Lily's! I wouldn't mind talking to my lawyers about it and getting help from them.” He said in a calm voice as he carried a calm Lily in his arms.

“You're sure?” I looked at him hopefully.

He nods. “Completely sure, darling.”

You nod with a shy smile on your face. “Okay babe.”

He kisses your temple. “Now, how about we cure that ugly mark on your face? And then we can have a cuddle session for my favorite girls, how does that sound?” He says while tickling Lily's tummy, you nod.

“That sounds good." You smile a little. “Thanks again love.” you said and he kisses you softly.

He guides you to the room and heals the minor wounds left by your ex's slap. His touch is gentle and soft, it's like he doesn't want to hurt you and that's good for your soul. Finally, he placed one of Lily's bandages on your cheek and kissed the spot, causing you to giggle.

“Your stuble tickles me love!” you say and he smiles and blushes.

“And why isn't Lily tickled, hm?” He says with a little smile and starts giving Lily kisses and she giggles loudly.

“Dadaa! Tickles!” she says between giggles.

You smiled. “What did you say, honey?”

“Fine, fine. Maybe you have a bunch of tickles!” he says with a chuckle. “My ticklish girls.” He says and tickles you and Lily again and you both laugh louder.

After a few hours, sleep overcame Lily and you were just a push away from falling asleep, the fatigue of the unexpected day was hitting you hard. But you couldn't go to sleep without first talking to Charles a little, it was a kind of routine that you do before going to sleep.

You murmur. “Mhm, baby?” you asked.

“Can't you sleep my darling?” He asks and you nod. “Come here petit bébé.” He says as he opens his arms. (little baby)

You snuggle into his arms. “I don't know how to thank you for what you do for us.” You whisper.

“Baby, you don't have to thank me for that, you know?” He says softly. “It's something that comes naturally from me, it's nothing really.” He says while placing kisses all over your face and you giggle.

“you are an angel charlie.” You smile.

“I don't see myself as an angel, but if you say so, that's fine!” He giggles and blushes.

You make a little silence and then speak again. “So... My wife, you said earlier, tell me, sir, what do you mean by that?” You giggle a little.

He blushes even more. “Oh well, I don't know, it just came out... I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable darling.” He said a little embarrassed and you silenced him with a short kiss on the lips.

“Not at all... I have to say that I liked it.” You whisper and he opened his eyes wide.

“Doesn't it make you uncomfortable?” you denied.

“You can call me that as many times as you want bubba!” you giggled.

“Oh god, thank you so much chérie, you make me the luckiest man in the world!” he giggled.

“It's nothing baby boy! It's like you say, it's something that comes naturally.” You say and give him several kisses.

With him you feel safe and loved, a feeling that you haven't had for a long time (since before you finally knew him). And so in the warm arms of your loved one, you fall into a deep sleep thinking that not everything is bad, there are good moments as well as bad ones, but with him and Lily there is nothing they cannot overcome as a family.

Miguel remained quiet. You pouted.

What you didn't know is that when he came home, he'd get you a lovely bouquet of tulips and some pickles. He'd just pulled your grumpy self into a tight loving hug as he kissed your temple repeatedly until your mood vanished.

"A girl? Really? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Cause the doctor just sent me the results! And you ruined the surprise. I wanted to tell them in a different way!"

"Not funny" Your cheeks flushed softly as he chuckled.

Your eyes swelled up in tears upon hearing him speak so softly and lovingly. He was excited. You could tell by the little flush in his ears.

"Shopping day tomorrow?"

Ever since you told Miguel you both were expecting a girl, it was like a switch turned in him.

He'd cuddle you with such care, he'd think you'd break. Wich was annoying to you since you missed sleeping ontop of him.

And when the cravings started? Dios mío.

"M-Miguel" You'd whimper as you wiped your eyes. He'd startle and instantly go in alert mode.

"¿Qué pasó? ¿Tas bien?" (What's wrong? You ok?)

You hiccuped and weeped "We have no pickles."

He'd stare at you, trying to process the correct emotion to feel in this situation.

"You're crying cause we don't... have pickles"

"Don't be mean!"

You'd hit him softly with a pillow and curled back to your bed.

"Ok, ok, Don't cry? I'll go to the... the store. Be right back."

"Can I have Nutella too?"

"Uh, sure."

Drowsy eyes looked at the clock. 2 am. On another time, he'd surely would ignore the senseless petition and talk to go back to sleep. But how could he do that when you were pregnant? He was an ass sometimes, but with a pregnant you? Never.

He went to the store, to his dismay there was only two small pickle jars, and they were inside a lady's basket.

... Puta madre...

Why was everyone suddenly in the crave for pickles?

He didn't have to elaborate much and explained the lady. She just laughed it off and kindly surrendered them to him.

"Cravings? Oh boy. You better buy her the three jar packs. And avoid wearing too strong colognes infront of her! It might get her queasy."

"Thanks" With a polite smile he paid for the pickles and went home.

You were waiting for him, teary eyed and pouty. He opened the jar of pickles for you and stared at you with awe and a mild disgust as you dipped one of the pickles inside the Nutella and scarfed the veggie down with such hunger it made you cry again.

"Its so good."

His shoulders slumped with a sigh and wiped your chin.

"You're such a weirdo."

"Want some?"

"No, thanks. Keep eating"

"But I'll get fat"

"It's normal to gain weight during pregnancy."

"You'd love me if I was chubbier right?"

"Yes. I would. Eat your... thing."

He'd chuckle watch you eat until you were satisfied. three pickles in total with half the bottle of Nutella.

The next day he got you a small pack of pickles and two big bottles of that sweet spread to then rub your feet.

As time went on and your belly grew, the doctor appointments never got skipped or missed. He was there making sure everything was in order. His big hand hugging yours in a secure embrace as you got your ultrasounds. Everything was going perfectly.

The most dangerous months had passed and he allowed to breathe a bit more.

He had refused when you told him you wanted to work from home. Even if it was home office.

"No. It can lead you to stress out. And that will stress the baby out. Something can happen and no. Let me handle it."

"Stop being paranoid, I'll be fine! I just... don't like sitting all day or sleeping. I need to do something. And you didn't let me do much in the baby's room either!"

"Mi amor. You need to rest. I know you don't like it. But you need to."

"Could you at least get me an exercise ball?"

You kissed his cheek and cuddled him, the heat he provided felt heavenly against your back. You had started to waddle and to your dismay a new nickname was born. You were his Pingüinita. (Little penguin)

On the six month mark, you'd toss and turn on bed, feeling either too hot or cold. One moment you were snuggled against him, for the next to remove your clothes and lay naked next to him.

One particular night you felt suffocating. Summer was rampant and you woke up in tears at the oppressing heat.

He'd wake up no long after and filled in the bathtub with the right kind of water. Sweat and hormones raging on your body. Despite sleepiness clinging to him, he'd help you to the tub and bathe you.

Big and gentle hands massaged your wet scalp to then massage your shoulders and lower back. He splashed your body with water and kissed your temple carefully.

"Feel better? "

"Great, thank you, mi amor."

He'd smile lazily and remained there with you, almost falling asleep again in the bathroom until you were ready to leave to sleep.

He'd buy you long and cotton nightgowns. They were breathable and made everything a bit more comfortable for you, along some essential vitamins. And a hammock for the porch. He'd find you sleeping often in there.

Whenever you went out with the rest he'd make sure that none ordered meat. You still were sensitive to the smell, despite Peter longing for a burger.

Miguel would bathe with you to help you wash your back. But it was just an excuse to touch you and feel you. He'd be as gentle as he could with you. It turned him on to see you swelling with his child. Even brought out things he didn't know was into. Like, a lactation kink. And eat you out despite your protests of not being able to see him.

He was absolutely moonstruck with you. And when the time for you to deliver his baby finally came. He tried to remain strong and collected, despite his hands trembling like an earthquake. He kept an eye on you like a hawk, always looming around you.

He couldn't help but melt when Gabriella's cries echoed loud and healthy on the room.

He kissed you with such pride in his eyes that you'd think he was about to cry.

He knew his life with you had just started, and he was glad he had chosen you. Happy and grateful even. You just made him a dad of a wonderful little girl that instantly quieted down when he held her in his arms. One of the nurses snapped a picture of him holding and cooing Gabi as you got a well deserved nap.

Despite him not being a texter, he sent the picture of Gabi to the group chat.

The last few months of your life have been awful.

Life had been pretty stable for the most part. Trying to balance college, being a superhero duo with your adoptive brother, and the newfound freedom of adulthood was a lot to say the least. Then some big alien freak came along and ruined everything. You and Peter left Aunt May behind for five years.

For better or for worse, you and Peter didn't age. Peter still had his senior year ahead of him and you were only 24. So you both tried to make the most of that.

You were supposed to chaperone your little brother's senior trip through Europe. All you wanted to do was help Peter enjoy the last few months of youth he had before being shipped off to college. Of course, fate had other plans and the trip was interrupted by another cataclysmic event. One unpredictable turn after another. Then suddenly everyone knew your secret identity.

Quentin Beck was a hero and you were half of the duo that killed him.

One edited video and suddenly the whole world was against you and your brother. It was a target on your back you had no way of getting off your back. The magical escape you thought you'd found was nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing. Universes nearly collided. Three versions of your brother. Two other versions of you. Villains the two of you tried and failed to rehabilitate. A moment of complete darkness for your brother A dead aunt. So much fighting. So much pain. All of it for nothing. At the end of it all, everyone was forced to forget about you and Peter. No more full rides to dream colleges and no more "Amazing Spider Kids". It was just the two of you in a shitty Downton apartment at a community college neither of you really wanted to attend, but that didn't stop you two from trying to protect those who couldn't protect themselves.

That need to protect everything and everyone seemed to get you in bigger trouble.

America Chavez. Barely 15 years old, alone in the multiverse, and no one to trust. Her powers and life experience were beyond you — you couldn't even take credit for defeating whatever monster that was chasing her — but you wanted her safe. You foolishly thought that it'd be as simple as finding a hero that could mentor her. Magic wasn't your strong suit. Yet, you still helped America try to escape the claws of the Scarlet Witch along with Doctor Strange.

In the midst of a heated chase, the witch's focus seemed to have shifted. Your mask was ripped by a piece of metal and you could feel the witch's eyes on you. Since you were more focused on protecting America, you decided to send The Scarlet Witch on a goose chase. You and a magical body double of the girl. Unfortunately, you could only run for so long. You didn't bother fighting when you were captured. All you could do was put on a brave face as you were somehow teleported back to your universe. You assumed the witch had gotten a decent portion of America's powers. That worried you, but unfortunately you had to prioritize your personal safety for a moment.

The witch must've known you were too weak to run away because she didn't even bother tying you down. She just stood over you and examined your face. You were nervous and confused to say the least. "So, uh, do you always stand over sacrificial young adults in such a compromising way or am I special?" You quipped. It was a real misfortune your mouth tended to run more when you were nervous. Your heart almost exploded when she reached out for your mask. "Hey, hey! Have some respect for a man's secret identity, will you?" You shouted, trying to push her hands away.

Automatic reflexes were nothing against magic and you were unmasked and it sent your spider senses spiraling.

"You remember me."

"Of course,I remember you. Do you not remember me?"

The airport. Tony had you and Peter flown out for a top secret field mission, that's what he told you at least. You weren't sure what you were fighting for, but you remember the battle clearly. Some guy had grown to a hundred feet tall. You fought some guy with a metal arm. Then someone suddenly started throwing cars. They had all missed you and went straight for Tony, but it was still scary. After the battle, you learned the name of all the people you fought. The weird one, as Tony described her, was named Wanda Maximoff. It's scary how your life had become so eventful that you'd forgotten that whole experience. Well, you couldn't blame yourself for not recognizing her considering the drastic change in her appearance.

"Yeah," You said bitterly, "you threw a car garage at my mentor."

"Your mentor made the bombs that destroyed my home country and had me jailed for powers I didn't ask for."

That was the first time a villain had left you truly speechless. Tony wasn't like that. Was he?It was a lot to process and that wasn't made any easier with the icy cold hand caressing your cheeks. "If you're going to drop an information bomb, can you at least give me a second to —" Your sentence was cut short by her thumb slipping into your mouth. Wanda had managed to slip past your spider senses. It was odd considering you were definitely not calm nor did you trust her.

"I figured he didn't bother telling you the whole truth," Wanda's voice had gotten low and seductive. Her thumb pressed down on your tongue as she continued to monologue. Your squirming didn't phase her at all. "I could hear your thoughts the moment you stepped foot in the airport. So loud and frantic, but nothing but innocence and desire for approval. It's a shame I wasn't able to see you again after that. I was lost in a hex of my own deepest desires and do you know what was there?" A smile spread across her lips as she felt you relax out of curiosity. "The two of us, happily married with two children, and living in New Jersey."

The statement made you jump and start fighting again. Married with kids was definitely not on your list of goals in the next few months, living in New Jersey just sounded dreadful. You managed to get her thumb out of your mouth just long enough to speak. "I'm sorry to hear about your crazy magic thing, I'm not ready to settle down yet. Maybe come back in six years once I've graduated, yeah?"

Wanda binded your wrists with magic. Her hand came down on your cheek with all the strength she had. Despite her frustration, she was happy to see you were still as witty and innocent as the day you two met. "I think I have a plan you'll like." She smirked as she summoned the darkhold. It opened on its own. The book turned towards you and translated itself so you could understand it. "Your innocence," she said before ripping you suit, "and your body in exchange for the girl's safety."

Your eyes nearly popped out of your head. It certainly wasn't a fair deal, even more unfair once you looked over the spell presented to you. A womb tattoo magically etched into your skin that would give Wanda complete control over your libido, orgasms, and a bunch of other depraved things you hadn't even heard of before. Wanda definitely wasn't the woman you imagined would take your virginity, but it wasn't an offer you could refuse. Strange wasn't strong enough to defeat Wanda and letting America die wasn't an option in your mind.

You put on as brave a face as you could before speaking, "If you so much as lay a finger on that girl, the deal is off." Your voice faltered at the feeling of Wanda's lips pressed against your neck. A moan nearly escaped your lips when Wanda's hands began exploring your body. The skin of your lower stomach began to tingle. This was it. This was how you lost your virginity.

Wanda's lips curled into a smile. A real one that showed off her perfectly white bunny teeth. She was no longer concerned with America. You were all she needed now.

"I'm going to ruin you," She whispered, "and you're going to enjoy every moment of it."

You wanted her to be wrong. You wanted so badly to hate the way her hands felt against your bruised skin and the softness of her lips on your neck, but you couldn't. Months without affection left your body desperate for any form of human touch. It is shameful and almost disgusting.

You gently open your eyes as sunlight shines through your shared marui. You stretch out all of your limbs and rub at your eyes. Yawning as you turn around, finding the other side of the sleeping matt empty. Huffing out a sigh, you sit up and just stare around your marui while squinting. Tonowari must be out hunting. You slowly start getting up, ready to start the day.

Walking out of your marui, you see Ronal and a couple of others sitting together in the sand a couple metres away, weaving garments. You quickly walk over to them, going as fast as your little legs could carry you.

“Ronal! Hey, have you seen Tonowari anywhere?” you ask her, slightly out of breath from your jog.

“Hello y/n, I believe I saw him looking for seashells near the east side of the beach. Probably for another gift he’s making you” Ronal says with a teasing tone, slightly smirking at the end.

You start blushing profusely, you were sure if you were na’vi your tail would be swaying from side to side excitedly.

“Ahh, thank you Ronal” you say, voice full of embarrassment but your giddy smile said otherwise.

“No problem”, she replies, turning back to her unfinished necklace.

You hurriedly take off running towards where Ronal told you, eager to greet your mate. Just as you see his tall and muscular build come into view, you slow down to a jog. When he’s just a few feet away from you, you stop. A funny idea coming to mind.

You slowly walk towards him trying not to make a lot of noise, though it seems as if he can’t hear you as he keeps searching through the sand. His tail is languidly moving around behind him as he hums to himself underneath his breath.

Just as you stand behind him, ready to reach your hands out, there’s a loud smack and you’re knocked off your feet. You fall onto the sand with a soft thud.

Tonowari’s ears stand at alert and his tail becomes rigid. He quickly turns around and is met with your small body sitting on the sand, rubbing at your left arm. He could see your eyes glaze over with fresh tears and his ears droop down at the sight, a pang of guilt running through his chest.

“Owwww ‘Wariiii that hurt.” you pout up at him and his heart broke at the sight.

“I am so so sorry my paysyul, I did not know you were behind me” he apologizes, looking distraught at the thought of hurting you in any way.

“It’s alright, it was my fault anyways” you sigh and stand up, still rubbing at your arm a bit.

“No no, it was not your fault. Do not blame yourself paysyul. I should have been paying attention to my surroundings” Tonowari sternly says, closing the pouch full of seashells and holding it in his left hand.

“Come, let us go to our marui and put some

paste on your arm.”

He reaches down with his right hand and lifts you up, holding you securely against his chest. You drape your arms over his shoulders as they are too short to wrap around his neck, and nuzzle your face into his nape as he begins to walk you both to your marui.

can i appoint myself the queen of streamer!ellie head canons or is that narcissistic (leave requests my loves)

it would 100% start off with ellie being bored shitless, hopping through tv channels, netflix, youtube etc before finally turning to a streaming sight.

she loves gaming and often finds herself on that platform however she’s never seen you before that day. you were pretty big, rolling in about 50k viewers per stream but you were more of a baking stream, qna stream person rather than gaming

however, your friends had persuaded you to play a story game for that stream. you honestly couldn’t remember the name but it was some sort of zombie apocalypse one

it was fun and ellie actually sat through your whole stream.

after that, she had subscribed (in which you read out her username and she literally almost screamed hearing your pretty voice say her name) and she watched every other stream after that

she favoured the baking ones, seeing you all dressed up with a cute lil apron on over your clothes.

and ellie liked you even more when you made weed brownies live. saying they where ‘funny’ brownies so you didn’t get demonetised

she thought you were absolutely stunning and quickly ranked up to one of your favourite fans with her silly comments and the sweetest complements on each of your streams.

plus she sent you a lot of money.

it was actually after your birthday stream that she met you in real life.

she had been watching for a little over a year and you had gone out with your friends to celebrate your birthday after a short stream

as you were walking down the road to meet said friends , you noticed a pair of eyes on you which wasn’t unusual since you were pretty well known however you recognised her face from somewhere.

ellie’s eyes widened as you walked closer to her. her cheeks flushed red as she subtly looked you up and down. gay mother fucking panic.

now the girl knew she didn’t like men and only liked women but shit did you solidify it. she had been with girls before but you were something else

“i know you” is the first words you said to ellie and her heart just about stopped beating. sure, you acknowledged her online. even becoming mutuals after a comment she left on your post made you laugh but you knowing ellie? impossible “ellie right”

she didn’t trust her voice so she simply nodded. her response made you smile.

you gave her your number, it was dangerous. you didn’t know if she would leak it or whatever but you still did it and it was the best damned decision ever.

you know what they say about lesbians moving quick as fuck. yeah that was true for you and ellie. literally going on a date one week, making it official the next and then she practically moved in after that

neither of you mind, ellie chipped in with food and rent even though you told her you had enough.

(imagine you had ended up with dealer!ellie😳 that itself is a whole other story)

she would start joining your streams, fans would speculate and obviously it was true but they didn’t need to know that just yet.

it was only when you were spotted together holding hands and kissing that i officially came out that you we’re together (celeb tearoom type shit. TMZ drama alert and all that covered it)

you would often try to correlate outfits when you streamed together, if you had pink on then so did she.

there was the usual jealous people that commented against ellie and it did hurt at the beginning. nothing a few words of encouragement and steamy nights with you couldn’t fix.

seriously though, most of your fans adored her. she was quite shy at first and saw how absolutely smitten you were with each other. obsessed with the way you looked at each other when the other looked away

cooking streams that end up being a nightmare. flour and shit everywhere.

speaking of flour. the fans realised you had a special someone in your life when flowers started appearing in the back of your streams. often hung upside down so they last longer.

you eventually get matching tattoos, little hearts on your wrists both with red ink. meaningful but not big. you were both sure you were in it forever but just in case.

your fans were nosy sure but they were damn respectful - minus the odd few. if it was obvious you were on a date, all dressed up and i’m a fancy restaurant, they will not interfere which you were super appreciative about
