Immediately, the group laid on the ground and stared up in excitement at the dog in the man’s arms. Harry rushed to collect the leashes and held them in a tight grip, even though they were looped on his wrist. “I’m so sorry about them! They normally don’t rush other dogs, especially when they’re on their leashes..”
“Yea, well maybe you shouldn’t bring so many to the park at one time.” The man chided and looked Harry up and down. “Isn’t there a rule about it or something?”

CITY OF DREAMS PRESENTS THE SECOND ANNUAL COOKING COMPETITION, BROUGHT TO YOU IN THE MALDIVES!
"A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe.”
Please join us for our second annual City of Dreams COOKING COMPETITION!
Join us on the culinary journey of culture and traditions to experience the richness of Maldivian Cuisine. Random pairings will be put together to make a team in this competition. Each team will be required to cook a full course meal, from an appetizer to the dessert! It is up to you whether you do the research or simply take matters into your own hands. Once all entries have been prepared, a jury will decide the winner!
To enter this competition, your team can: post pictures of their menu with brief descriptions of the dishes, or, each member of the team can do a thread or para about what they cooked. Once published, please tag our event blog @cityofdreamsevents, so we can reblog all of the finished results for ooh-ing, ahh-ing, and judging.
If you can’t reach your partner in time, please know it is still okay to post an entry for the competition. However, we do strongly encourage everyone to reach out to their partner in a timely manner, as this is a great way to start some new interactions and connections!
Additionally: we would love for three members to be our jury. The first to express interest will pick a celeb of theirs to build our jury for the cooking competition! We will provide you with further information after you message us.

A memorable meal this year? - oh I’ve had a few!
Some of my favorites:
- I make a roast chicken as our “last meal” in every house we leave behind and I did it again this year. It was the first thing I ever cooked when Goose and I moved in together and now I use it to mark the passing of time
- the burrito I ate while driving to LA in Friday afternoon traffic because they canceled our train and I had Louis Tomlinson tickets at the Bowl
- the Cheesecake Factory I ate in a random hotel outside of Portland because I bought a last minute plane ticket to see two of my best friends in the entire world and by the time I landed, and we got to our hotel, everything was closed except for Cheesecake Factory??? And then we sat up and gossiped all night and my heart was full
- the breakfast I had with River and our flat Sol sitting in a restaurant that I directly reference in Blue Neighbourhood where we talked for far longer than we should have but it was worth all the missed work emails
- the sandwich and potato salad I ate at this cafe in the square in my hometown when I had a crashing realization that I didn’t hurt to be there
- the hot dogs and smores my kids and I cooked over a campfire in TN while on our cross country roadtrip after the most perfect day exploring a town and laying in the leaves

Birds flying high while chirping their diabetically sweet songs with the exception of the chocking blackbird perched on the window sill of Louis shower. Of course the wee fella wouldn’t sing when battling death by asphyxia, Louis did warned him about the size of his wormy meal but did Kevin 2.0 (The first Kevin used to be a chubby pigeon that committed suicide by flying head first into this same window, hence the reason why a small unwashable sharpie cross was doodled into the glass) ever listens? Nope, he certainly doesn’t. Louis would love to purr ‘I told you so’ to the idiotic bird but he hardly has anytime to conjure the words upon his mind when the aforementioned blackbird regurgitates the worm he priorly caught only to slurp it back in like a chinese noodle and ergo, resume the chocking process.
Stubborn motherfucker.
Shunning out Kevin the second and returning to the insanely flawless day that’s way too good to be consider true.
Louis gaze wanders aimlessly along the patterns of his shower tile walls, the pit patter of water perfectly silenced against the tanned caramel skin of his back. Born in Doncaster, Tomlinson was part of the boy band One Direction, who sold more than 70 million records worldwide. After they split in 2016, he launched his solo career and returned as a judge to The X Factor, the show that launched the band. He has a son, Freddie, six, from a previous relationship with the stylist Briana Jungwirth, and lives in north London.
I’m not an early riser. When I was touring with One Direction, I used to wake up at 4pm as the adrenaline of being on stage and after-show partying meant staying up until 3am was normal.
I’ve been touring solo all year and the post-show energy is still intense, but I’m out of bed by midday now.
If I’m not touring, Doncaster is where my heart is, but I split my time between my house in north London and LA, where my son lives.
The first thing I do every day is have a strong coffee. I love a full English but I’m lazy, so I’ll probably have a bowl of cereal.
I’m very good at just watching shit TV all day, but if I’m trying to be productive I like to inspire myself by watching interviews with other artists I admire, like Arctic Monkeys or Liam Gallagher. It’s dead interesting hearing the way they think.
If I’m having a lazy day, I’m not gonna lie, I rate Bargain Hunt. I love it when someone pays well over the odds. I’ve not been invited to the celebrity version yet but if my career starts winding down one day, who knows? If I’m writing or recording, I’ll never start a session before 2pm. I’ve learnt not to get too carried away when a tune gains momentum. Sometimes you think it’s a f***ing banger, then you come back to it three days later and it’s not quite as good as you remember.
There’s a different sort of pressure being a solo artist, and the lows are lower on your own. In One Direction we made decisions collectively, but now it’s all on me. That also means the highs are higher. This year I did a concert in Milan in front of 34,000 fans. The adulation was almost overwhelming, but I could take all the credit — not just one fifth.
For lunch, I love a tuna sandwich with salad cream — not mayo — and some prawn cocktail crisps on the side. I’m a shit cook. I’ve survived on microwave meals for years, but I do feel sorry for my son — he must be sick to death of cheesy pasta.
I never work too long away from LA, so I see Freddie as much as I can. After my LA gig he came on stage and played the drums, which he loved. I think he assumes that it’s normal for everyone’s dad to tour the world performing.
Being a father has changed me but because my mum used to work nights and I was the oldest, the responsibility fell to me to feed, dress and bathe my younger siblings, so I’ve already had a parenting crash course. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t challenging, but it’s so rewarding too.
Social media has been really important for connecting to my fans, but I’ve got a funny relationship with it. It can be a toxic place and I’ve had some unhinged messages sliding into my DMs. I can’t keep up with these people posting 20 photos a day on Instagram, though, as all I’m doing is watching Bargain Hunt and that’s not that interesting.
If I’m performing in the evening, I have a double vodka and Red Bull to calm my nerves. When I was in One Direction, that pre-show ritual made me feel like a rock star. It just gives you such a great f***ing feeling on stage. I’d love to say I don’t get more nervous if I know Harry [Styles] or any of the other boys are in the crowd, but I do. You want to give your best.
When I come off stage I need five minutes to decompress, but I’m still buzzing so normally a big group of us will go out. I won’t be touring like this for ever, but while I am I want to have all the fun I can. That usually ends at about 3am with me crawling into my pitch-black bunk on my tour bus before we start the whole process all over again the next day.

Orville Peck posted Harry’s tour dates (for which he’s the opening act) with Harryween circled, but then deleted- so ARE those shows maybe happening? We just do not know but yes, this is a compelling reason for speculation that maybe at least the Harryween shows are being left in place for this year, even if not the tour as scheduled. MSG leaving it on lists of scheduled shows for this year as they reopen just said to me that it hasn’t been rescheduled YET, but in combination with this it becomes more interesting...
Louis liked some Euros posts (including a tweet about the youngest player ever to play the championship, who he followed) and got pumped at England’s victory- “Unbelievable start for England!! Looked very exciting, lots of great individual performances. It's coming home!!!!”; all those exclamation points got the attention of the official team twitter who liked the post! Nice. Then he liked a tweet of himself losing his mind and throwing beer everywhere from when England seemed to be beating Croatia in the 2018 World Cup; they lost that one but beat Croatia today so yeah… apt! And a later game got a much less emotional nod, just “What a game.” The Full Time Meals fish finger sandwich recipe that we’ll get to see Louis follow tomorrow is up and yes, as a non-British person I am a little startled (the waffle is just… in the sandwich? okaay) but being shocked by British food feels like such a cliché and this is, to be fair, meant to be a recipe for children, so fine: put a waffle in a fish sandwich. Why not. Anyway, the recipe should be very easy for Louis to recreate.
Steven Bartlett and Liam “were spotted at an assortment of Manchester's swankiest venues”, being cool young rich guys and making all the spon-con stops. They got a local paper write up for their visit to “the stylish new ****** restaurant” (what, they didn’t give ME any spon-con money, look it up if you actually care) where they “posed up for pictures... in the venue's selfie corridor” (cause what kind of self respecting restaurant doesn’t have a SELFIE CORRIDOR right? anyway pictures were published- very nice) and they say Liam was “also spotted at Manchester's Ivy restaurant over the weekend, and is thought to be staying with Steven to watch the big England game on Sunday.” Today the pair were seen doing some “morning boxing” at a Manchester gym (who were delighted to post video of Liam training), and getting haircuts. The guy who cut their hair talked about the key to social media success (he says you should have varied posts oh no you guys I am FAILING!) and is so excited to get Steve and Liam’s cut pics (in their matching England jerseys) up that he goes for it EVEN THOUGH IT’S A SUNDAY, what a risk taker. Little does he know it’s the picture of Steve’s dog that really shines, glad to see little Pablo getting to go everywhere with them. Anyway then the duo (trio? did the dog go?) headed out in their coordinated outfits to hang out with a gang of folks gathered to watch the game at a fancy beer garden kind of place. We also got a Lonely Bug preview today that shows the most we’ve seen yet of the actual piece, with glimpses of the bug trapped in a glass box and a bubble among other things, and a little bit more detail about the sale; there are “six unique pieces” that will be for sale on the 15th.
Niall posted a car selfie- when in LA I guess! He’s looking good and he’s not afraid to acknowledge it, happily sharing his “skincare routine and his secrets for such soft floofy hair” upon request. He tells us “foaming face wash, toner, SPF, hydrating booster serum, moisturiser”, it’s “genetics on the hair” and “also don’t have a lot of dairy anymore. Game changer for the skin.”
