Blind for Love

This was heavily inspired by EDEN's use of the Gucci sweater throughout his videos for his album, vertigo. I was always fascinated by the use of the sweater and the phrase "blind for love" since I saw. Something about it just captivated me, until today where I got a burst of inspiration to create this. I didn't really know what I was going to do other than I was going to do something. It started with the gradient yellow text in the middle, and I felt like I wanted to do something personal, like getting that handwritten note feeling. I decided that I would doodle around the text of just what felt right. It struck an emotional cord with me when "Better Not" by Louis the Child came up in a generated playlist.

I've never really been the social type. I'm super introverted, I have a very select friends, and the tiniest social battery anyone could have. The few relationships I have been in, just never seemed to work. Sure, I definitely fucked up. Sure, they definitely fucked up too. But... I always could have done better. What if I hadn't fucked up? What if I said that thing I wanted to but couldn't? What if I less jealous? Less insecure? More confident? What if we didn't keep each other at arms length? What if we trusted each other more? I didn't realise what I had until it was gone. I wish I was better for you, just as I know you wish you were better for me. If only-
