i ordered new pants recently and had to send them back to size down and i know all the Youths are all “oh no T can cause weight gain* whatever shall i do” but nobody talks about like
i lost weight/size and i’m not sure how to feel about it. like i enjoy the shape my body is now, i feel really good in my body on T, but nobody talks about working so hard to learn to love your body as a fat person and working through internalised fatphobia and then. losing weight doing nothing. and feeling a little lost because it’s not the shape you learnt to love?

Dear people with ADHD,
I'm still new to this but I have a question.
Is it normal to not feel hunger when on medication?
I've always been on the heavier side and I enjoyed eating, sometimes even when I wasn't that hungry I could eat a pretty sizeable meal, but now I just don't get hungry almost at all or i get a little nauseous when eating, as if eating was something I HAVE to do now instead of something I can enjoy. I also eat way WAY less.
It's not that I forget to eat, though I sometimes still do, it's just that I don't feel like eating.
I mean, I'm not that bothered by it cause I have been trying to lose weight for years but it also kind of freaks me out a little cause I've lost 4 kilos in 3 weeks which isn't much now but I've had my good pair of awful fast weight losing periods that caused my body to shut down and those took me months and months to get better from.
If anyone could answer with their experience,it would mean a lot

Making a blanket statement of 'no one can lose weight without starving themselves' veers into some serious 90s fad diet culture bullshit. Like sure, you might think you're just saying that trying to lose weight is worthless BUT there will be people who hear that and then starve themselves to try and lose weight which is extremely dangerous.
There are safe, healthy, and sustainable ways to work on weight loss IF that is a needed thing for some people. Please do not think starving yourself is the only answer and don't let anyone else tell you so.

And i am working on building more muscle. I try really hard to eat enough, and even plenty, of protein. I try to be more active and use my muscles in varied ways.
Also thanks a fucking lot for pulling attention to my thin as fuck arms and wrists, I don't have dysphoria about them or anything.
