Unhealthy

The way we learn how to take care of ourselves starts with the love we receive as children. We go to school and they teach us healthy and unhealthy food groups. When we have low self esteem we exhibit unhealthy thinking about who we are taking us down a lonely road. If we don’t love ourselves we develop unhealthy habits keeping us from happiness. There are problems when we are unhealthy making life more complicated then it has to be.

When we criticize ourselves this keeps us from love and any movement forward. This causes unhealthy thinking and the ripple effects moves us away from what we want . Life has cruelty and trauma that unleashes behaviors that are unhealthy. We start to believe we cannot change from what life has dealt us and the behaviors created from our pasts. All our unhealthy ways can change when we believe we are worth it.

Think before action,

Stop criticizing everyone,

Be worth something.

We can say we want to change the way our lives are going in one way or the other. When we feel we are worth it, we see where all our unhealthy habits are keeping us from peace and joy.

It may not be pretty, but Death is SACRED. 🙏🏻 I have been making friends with Death; allowing certain parts of myself to inch closer to death consciously before releasing them and blessing them on their safe passages of release. Traveling isn't the most romantic thing. There are highs and there are extreme lows. Even just being here for one day in Ireland has brought up SO much and been extremely uncomfortable. Which I welcome! _ I'm not even completely aware of the parts of myself that are dying, but many of them are masks and identities that I confused with my true self when they were really based in wounding. I've seen this reflected all around me already on this trip, including when I went to the Museum of Archaeology today and saw several bodies that are upwards of 4,000 years old that have been preserved in bogs. Several even still had full heads of hair! Impermanence can be a fear AND a comfort. Death and Birth love to dance together. _ Look at this picture. TRULY look at it. Let it bring up your fears. We all return to the earth. Womb to tomb, we are connected to her. Perhaps if we can honor our own cycles of birth and death, we can come closer to honoring the natural rhythms of Gaia and come closer to being in right relation with her and healing our planet. _ I'd love to hear from you.
