I wish Tae went with Jk to support him just like Jimin went for Hobi for Lollapalloza
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi anons!
It’s just something Jimin does. It’s lovely even. Jk talked about missing having the members around recently, and I imagine that feeling is worse when he’s overseas. So having someone with him is a good thing.
Tae did go to Inkigayo with Jk, but also.. he’s been very busy right. It’s probably just not possible. And who knows what we’ll see when Jk’s next project comes out right?
It’s really not a big deal. Enjoy the Jimin, Jk we might possibly get.

Isn't he still doing promotions for Layover... perhaps he has work commitments in South Korea... it happens.

I loooooooved Namjoon’s Indigo performance, for a variety of reasons, but something I genuinely cannot get enough of is the difference in what ways Namjoon chooses to perform his album versus the ways Hoseok is choosing to perform Jack In The Box.
They may perform the same songs in the same places to the same levels when in BTS, but nothing showcases just how different they are once the choices are in their own hands. Namjoon opened Indigo with a performance at Rolling Hall with a crowd size of 200. Hoseok opened Lollapalloza with a crowd size of over 100k. Then Namjoon did a performance in a crowdless art gallery in New York, whereas Hoseok’s second performance was at MAMA. Hoseok’s 3rd will be in New York for New Years Rockin’ Eve, and his 4th will be at the Golden Disc Awards in Bangkok (pending updates might make this not true anymore...)
So I’m genuinely curious where Namjoon’s 3rd performance will be. I keep seeing some weird bullshit spreading in the fandom that he’s the next to enlist but that makes no fucking sense to me given the next one to turn 30 is Yoongi, in fact by Korean age he already is, so if anyone’s enlisting next it’s him, which sucks because if he really is dropping music in 2023 he’s not going to have much time to even promote it or perform it aside from maybe some small venue stages as well. But Namjoon and Hoseok still have at least to early 2024 to do more shit like promo and perform their music.
Then again he did just say he was chilling and making more music now so who the hell knows anymore...I really hope that was just him keeping his plans on the down low because there’s no fucking way he could really be done now, right?! Like please, more people need to see and hear him too!

Storia Di Musica #225 - The Verve, Urban Hymns, 1997
The Good, the Bad & the Queen.

what kind of promo do you think he will do? or do you want to see him do? obviously he’ll be on radio stations again but i would hope he’d be on a few talk shows - i cant speak for the US ones but maybe some of the UK ones like graham norton even liam has been on that multiple times
Hmmm so far, BMG hasn’t shown their cards really. It seems that at least internationally, Warner Music will be distributing and promoting FitF.
(There are lots of pieces to this album release, so a mistake anywhere along the chain could have resulted in the Amazon leak.)
By going with an early November release, my bet is that BMG is willing to put some money behind the promo. It’s a good release date for winter/ holiday considerations. As I said before, it also dovetails into the Walls January 31, three-year anniversary, which could increase sales of Walls too (a nice gift to fandom would be a deluxe edition of Walls with live remixes and additional tracks like Copy and Change … I’m just saying).
Pre-release promo will be centered around the singles. Ideally they’re spaced 4-6 weeks apart with room for charting and growth. I expect another single after the album release, around end of November/ early December 2022.
I would LOVE to see some long, serious interviews about the album-writing and recording process. I want to hear about the fun things Louis did during the pandemic, the shows he binged, his inspirations, ways he dealt with boredom, where he traveled, books he read, music he listened to, stuff that inspired him. Why does he like BVG so much? Why did he grow his hair long, when Eleanor’s best friend’s boyfriend is a professional barber?
I also want to see really fun segments like Hot Ones and Louis playing with puppies on Buzzfeed.
I know this will probably not happen but … Louis doing comedy skits (and performing music, of course) on UK television. He would feel at home and it would BUST the internet! Completely. I know he never looks comfy in USA TV, so he should do whatever he likes.
Louis invited to perform on SNL. Again, this is not likely, but it would give the album great exposure.
BBC Live Lounge. Isn’t it about fucking time.
Holiday festivals 2022.
Photoshoots… we’re all waiting for model Louis to slay. I hope he’s able to have exposure on bigger media platforms - all of his previous magazine shoots sell out in a matter of minutes, no matter who the photographer is or how he is styled (my favorites from Walls are Cosmo, 1883, and TMRW which was so classy to have an entire zine for him). The portrait photographers adore him.
A serious journalistic profile (NYT, Slate, Vice, Pitchfork, Village Voice). Unlikely but a girl can dream! Maybe for LT3.
Louis plays a small but sentimental NY venue in December 2022. For indie cred!
Headlining India Lollapalloza January 2023.
Lolla Argentina March 2023.
Glastonbury 2023.

Time for today’s Rock Report,
Iconic Scottish rock band Simple Minds have sold their "key music interests" to BMG.
According to BMG, the agreement with the band's core members Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill includes the publishing rights to more than 240 songs across five UK No. 1 albums, the band's neighboring rights and royalties from their entire recorded catalog. BMG has previously served as the administrator of the band's publishing catalog and released their 2018 album Walk Between Worlds. Last month, BMG announced that it will release the band's latest studio album, Direction Of The Heart, on October 21.
Hulu had announced earlier this year that it will livestream several performances from Lollapalloza 2022.
Earlier this week, Hulu announced the streaming schedule for Lollapalooza, which will include performers like BTS' J-Hope, Metallica, Machine Gun Kelly, Kygo, Tove Lo, Don Toliver, Wallows, IDLES, Denzel Curry, Still Woozy and more. Two different live feeds will be available Friday through Sunday, with one feed for the Thursday shows. Select performances will be livestreamed exclusively to Hulu SVOD subscribers at no additional cost. The four-day annual festival is scheduled to take place between Thursday, July 28, and Sunday, July 31, in Chicago.
Black Sabbath legends Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi have reunited for a new single, "Degradation Rules."
The song will feature on Osbourne's upcoming album, Patient Number 9, due September 9.
Iommi spoke about his collaboration with Osbourne in a Rolling Stone interview earlier this year.
"I wrote the whole track and played on it and played the solo on it," the guitarist said. "It's really good. And I like what Ozzy sang on it. I think he did a really good job. And I think they had Chad [Smith] play drums on it."
Osbourne and Iommi last recorded together on The End, an EP of outtakes from Black Sabbath's 13 album.
