[Image id for the two images above: The first image is a scan of the first page of Medina's concept art. There are two versions of Medina's canon portrait, one colored, one uncolored. There is an illustrator's note at the bottom in Japanese. The second image is a translation of that note, which reads, "The face on the bottom of the next page came from the first draft. It didn't look quite right, so I was grumbling to Ikushima about it, and he redrew the whole thing, giving it the look it has now (laughs). Sorry about that, I was pretty busy at the time. In my opinion, she's become the most beautiful woman thanks to you! (Tatsuaki Urushihara)" /End id]
[Image id for the three images above: The first image is a scan of the second page of Medina's concept art. It has several drawings of Medina, including a full-body portrait that shows some details of the belt and pouch she wears, and has an additional illustrator's note at the bottom. The second image is a translation of the title, which reads, "Buff, Debuff Character," and translations for the captions. One points to a feather decoration on her hat and reads, "Feather ornament that resembles a leaf." Another points to her uniform and reads, "Well-made uniform, since they're provided by a medical institution in a rich country." Another caption points to a version of her without her hat, and says, "No hat version." The third image is a translation of the illustrator's note at the bottom of the second page, which reads, "I put this together based off a concept for an apothecary costume in 'Various Daylife' that I was given. (Tatsuaki Urushihara)." /end id]
Translation notes under the cut.
"I put this together based off a concept for an apothecary costume" might have been making a reference to a specific job class in Various Daylife. I looked it up a little and found one called "Herbalist" that might match, but I'm not super familiar with the game myself, so I wasn't 100% sure about it.

@commander-lariel's knight commander Lariel Aldonlel, based on the painting 'Ophelia' by Arthur Hughes, as well as the official artwork Dolly made herself for Lariel's Commander as Companion prompt. I couldn't choose between the version with or without the filter, so I'll post both.

thinking about ninjago s6,,, specifically nadakhan and his relationship with his crew.
i just think it’s so interesting and also think it’s bull crap that he never cared for nor wanted them. first of all, jay was also under the assumption that he didn’t actually care about delara which he very obviously does, as we can see in ep10. and jay was also just trying to escape and was using any advantage he had—his voice was his biggest advantage at the time. but it was around the time jay came to the conclusion that nadakhan didn’t care about delara when he told flintlocke that nadakhan was just using him…
see, in ep2 after retrieving the realm crystal, nadakhan spends the night having fun with his crew and they all seem genuinely happy to be there! clancee himself states multiple times that he has no reason to wish for anything and that he best fits in with and feels welcomed with the crew. they’re singing and dancing and having fun… and when nadakhan says he’s going home, he invites them all with. he had every intention of bringing them with him not as servants or underlings but friends…
i can’t help but wonder what would have been different had delara not been dead. had the cursed realm not been destroyed, thus destroying djinjago in response.
because the thing is: it’s after he gets the sword and swears revenge when nadakhan begins hiding things from his crew. it’s then when he becomes more and more desperate. the further the season goes, the more jay pisses him off and thwarts him, the angrier and more desperate he becomes. you could call it a corruption of power, the things we do / give up for love, or even recklessness due to strong emotions.
when it comes to the crew’s betrayals, i really think jay planting the seed is what did it. flintlocke was already upset that nadakhan wasn’t sharing plans with him
clancee and dogshank are the ones hard to believe
nadakhan would’ve kept his crew around had the desperation not grown as terribly as audrey two and consumed him, had clancee not whispered to jay where the venom was. i honestly believe jay thought he was speaking the truth. if s6 emphasizes anything, it's that words are powerful. jay used his words to win in the end and to plant the seeds that eventually overtook and defeated nadakhan.
nadakhan seemed to have lost faith in his friends and that was his biggest downfall and that is what made him lose everything in the end. like yes, he's the villain and tbh i'm glad jay and the ninja won, but gosh if it doesn't just break my heart as i watch him slowly lose faith in his friends/team throughout s6 and how they probably wouldn't have even become proper villains had delara not died,,,

the thing abt slur discourse is it is stupid and useless. just yesterday in a history of sexuality class we were reading an article by a gay man in the 80s and in this academic piece he referred to people as faggots and dykes and talked abt their reclamation and how straight people see them as dirty words etc
and like half this class of cis queer girls was fucking livid that he used dyke at all and one girl goes "and he only focused on feminine men and masculine women- the faggots and dykes. not all queer women are DYKES!" with such disgust when she said dykes. like my sister in christ you just used it as a slur waaaaay moreso than he did. be so serious.

Okay I was just forced to catch up on whatever the fuck Dreamsmp lore was, and I gotta say the only thing that ending has to be glad about is that it could've been a decent ending if it ended with the victims killing their manipulator and abuser, who by the way is so irredeemable that he's basically the Joker but instead of being unfunny even after declaring himself the best jokester around, Dream is just pretending to be a God.
But it went with 'Nuke blows everything and everyone up after Dream is revived and then the victims all sing happy songs with the one who abused and tortured them for years at this point" like fucking hell???
Look- I get the early stuff wasn't planned out or intended to be what it became, but they were actively writing lore by the time Tommy got exiled the first time. Like they absolutely were aware of how shit this ending would be, and it was all for a second server that probably won't come to be because Dream is petty as shit and most of the former members moved on. I'm pretty sure based entirely on what Philza said about QSMP (and Dream's meltdown over Quackity making his own lore based and multilingual server) that anyone who joined the QSMP isn't going to be on Dream's newer servers anymore, by choice or by Dream not inviting them. So Dreamsmp 2 or whatever isn't going to be a thing either forever or for a VERY long time.
And even if Dreamsmp 2 or whatever was supposed to be an entirely new thing, since all of them had grown since they were firsts in the Dreamsmp, the ending STILL wouldn't have been a good ending! It honestly makes stuff like Game of Thrones and Danny Phantom and Voltron's endings seem like Shakespeare himself thought them all through! It's salt in the wound and is dumb. The entire point of not seeing Dream's POV was so nobody would sympathize with the mass murdering, terrorist, torturer who stalked and harassed and abused a child because the Child stole something of Dream's and Dream's friends liked him. That was it, the entire reason for Dream to strike down and hurt everyone.
But the ending says "Actually despite the fact I want to kill you over and over and over and over again and hurt you beyond most people's compression, I'm just a poor little babwyyy and you're evil because you wanted me to stop hunting you for aport :("
