man im still thinking about that post from yesterday. the way op's words were completely twisted. never said all ronance shippers, never said lesbians were terfs, never mentioned steve - and yet that's what people took away. never mind that there were some ronance shippers in the notes going 'yes ive noticed this too and it's uncomfortable' like im not in the ronance part of this fandom at all and yet I've also seen some sus posts, ive seen words about robin and nancy's feelings towards men's existence that are just . so reminiscent to radfem/terf shit sorry!! and yes a lot of it is directed towards steve and it's not surprising why, he's a male character close to both of them, ofc he's getting the brunt of the (hopefully small amount of) ppl engaging in this kind of talk. but it wasn't about that! that's why the post didn't mention steve! it's about a subset of this fandom that talk like some of my old fandom friends that I eventually lost to radfem/terf rhetoric. bc if you dont check urself you can fall down that rabbit hole and end up hurting a whole bunch of ppl. being trans doesn't stop you from being transphobic! being a woman doesn't stop you from being sexist! you can oppress yourself! like . you should never think of yourself as unable to be sexist/transphobic/homophobic/racist/ablest/etc bc of the marginalised identities you currently hold. bc it's seriously not that simple. anyway. wild times right lads

- got into a relationship with a married man (cowboy)

- learned abt said cowboys extensive trauma

- refused to let said cowboy LEAVE said relationship

- mostly by utilising said extensive trauma against him

- threatened to out said cowboy (and the people he cares about) to ty betteridge if he ever tries to escape

- forced said cowboy into several romantic events (dates, kisses etc) against his will

- actively tattooed his name on said cowboys neck as a punishment for said cowboy trying to escape

- threatened to destroy said cowboys prized possessions because they 'don't matter'

- got his teeth punched in by said cowboy (HOORAY!!)
