He didn’t want a throne
He didn’t want to be alone
Really what’s gone and happened is Loki just got everything he would have wanted BACK IN 2012
BUT HE’S GROWN
AND HE DOESNT WANT THOSE THINGS ANYMORE
SO NOW IT IS A SACRIFICE THAT HE TOOK INSTEAD OF SOMETHING HE WOULD HAVE GAINED
UGHHHHHHH I AM SO NOT OK
Also Mobius is alone too
Istg
Fanfiction now
I must go

*through gritted teeth* i love having blorbos and ships for hyperfixations *clawing at my floorboards* i love focusing so wholeheartedly on a character that I cannot consume them enough *rattling the bars of my enclosure* i love having ships that i'm obsessive over that are ultimately just queerbait and/or shipbait *sliding down the wall, sobbing* i love needing to write fanfiction and create art for characters just to never let it see the light of day, if i even finish it *shaking like a chihuahua* i just love loving media. i love it soooo much

When Loki tortured Brad at Mobius' request (❗️), the method deliberately echoed their first conversation.
"Do you enjoy hurting people? Making them feel small?"
It's about Loki and Mobius having perspective on who Loki is, and both of them being able to trust that.
Mobius understands Loki. He knows that he DOESN'T enjoy hurting others, so Mobius knows he can pretend at being a villain without crossing a line.
They even joke about it a little – this performance of a "desperate" display, inspired by Loki's past.
Those "terrible, awful things" Loki did back then... they weren't really MISCHIEF.
But as I've said before, Loki and Mobius are redefining what "God of Mischief" can be together. It only works because that redefinition is not "just stop being who you are"…
...but rather, it's "be yourself, in full, without apology."
Lean into the persona and others' assumptions, within reason, as a means to an end. Use it as a strength. Why not? Loki knows who he is. Mobius knows the real him too. That's what matters.
Mobius has never wanted Loki to be anyone or anything other than exactly who and what he is.
He is the only one who has never seen Loki as a villain. He dared to hold up all of Loki's "terrible, awful things" and said those things didn't define him, and Loki took it to heart.
It's part of why Loki respected him from day one and loves him now.
Mobius never needed to "control" Loki. He knows him, trusts him, and encourages him to meet his full potential.
They're equals and similar enough that it all works. And Loki thrives because of it.

Are people srsly considering the scene where loki calls the NYC Incident "feelings getting out of hand" as good?
He would never fucking say that, man.
It is canon that he was tortured to do it. He was a whole damn mess during that whole thing and now its played down and straight up denied.
Am I missing something?
