Nurse: Yes, the baby is in perfect health, but Ah- there is one problem.

Odin: Well, what is it?

Nurse: We can’t tell the child’s gender.

Odin: Nonsense, let me see the baby.

Frigga: Did you not check when you brought it here?

Odin: I had other things on my mind.

Frigga: Of course

Odin: See, look. That is definitely a boy.

Nurse: But see-

Frigga: Oh. Is that ah- Is that normal? Where the child is from, I mean.

Nurse: I have no idea because someone won’t tell me where he received the child.

Odin: How about we just let the child decide?

Frigga: Odin, the baby can’t speak at its age yet.

Odin: Ah. Well, we can just choose one now and let the child decide later.

Frigga: Wonderful idea and since I’m doing the child rearing I get to choose-

Odin: Wha-

[Cut to a few centuries later]

Loki: I’m going to be a girl today.

Odin and Frigga who knew this day would come: Of course. Just know that we will always accept you as you are.

Loki: Tomorrow I’m going to be a snake!

Odin and Frigga:

Thor: But Loki, if you’re a snake, then you won’t have any arms! How will you spar with us tomorrow!

Loki: Ah, that is a good point. I’ll just be a snake with legs then. And very pointy teeth.

Thor: Like a crocodile!

Loki: Yes, exactly! I’m going to be a crocodile tomorrow!

Odin: Okay but are you going to be a boy or girl crocodile?

Loki: Crocodiles don’t have genders, silly.

Odin: Ah, yes. My mistake.

Frigga: Yes they do-

Loki: ANYWAYS

Also:

Thor: Now we’re going to play valkries today.

Sif: You can’t play valkries because you’re not a girl. Only girls can be valkries.

Thor:

Sif: Loki can though. But only part time because he’s only a girl sometimes.

Loki, who has never been interested in the valkrie but is now about to make it their entire personality just to spite Thor: I could be a girl all the time.

I think one thing I enjoy about Loki in the comics is the amount of humans he has gathered as friends after getting reincarnated.

Dude went from no friends to at least a small list of friends who are all humans....

Honorable mention to Loki's kinda of friend but not really because they still haven't had that much time to sort out shit strange.

Formal request that as of the Loki season 2 ending we rename the Citadel at the End of Time to the Citadel at the Heart of Time.

Party because it is now in the centre not at the end and mostly because it was Loki’s heart and love and sacrifice that allowed it to form at all.

Can you please do a cute one shot where the reader goes into labour in the middle of the night and Loki drives her to the hospital and obviously stays with her all night and while she gives birth? And also maybe Nat and the other avengers visit them as well while they’re in the hospital? 🥰❤️

Baby on the way

Your due date wasn’t until the end of the month so when you woke up with your water broke you almost had a heart attack.

"Loki wake up!"

Loki jumped from the bed the second his brain functioned with the new information.

Your hospital bag was likely ready so he grabbed it first then helped you put on some shoes, he didn’t care if you wore pants, your night shirt would have to do.

His eyes raced between watching the road and making sure you’re doing fine in the back seat.

By the time you two arrived at the hospital a wheelchair was ready for you since Loki was smart enough to give Tony a call before going, Tony made sure they knew you’re coming.

It was insane, everything and everyone was going so fast.

Loki stayed by your side through it all, disappearing only for a few minutes to sign some important papers then ran back to you.

During the birth itself, he let you squeeze his hand hard till the color in it turned blue. It didn’t hurt but the pressure you were pushing on his resulted in his true skin showing a little bit.

At one point you were cursing every nurse that touched you because you’ve been laying there for too long pushing.

"GET OUT!!" You screamed.

After a few final pushes the baby was born, the cry of the small being made Loki’s heart beat slow down.

His eyes bounced around from looking at you to looking at his baby.

He kissed your sweaty face, not realizing that he himself was crying.

"You did amazing, fantastic, you’re absolutely perfect" he mumbled against your skin.

After calming down for a few minutes the nurses came back with your baby and the first you saw were those big green eyes.

You laughed tiredly before pressing a kiss on the newborns head "my baby"

"Beautiful, beautiful you" Loki cooed at the little girl in your arms, running his finger across her small cheek as she stared at him in awo.

He held her for a while too, before the nurses took her from him and told him you need to be cleaned and put in a room to rest.

The very next day though your room was barged in by none other than your superhero friends.

Tony being the first to walk in with the biggest gift basket you’ve ever seen in your life, followed by the avengers and other close friends.

"Where is the little one!?" Thor excitedly asked, you pointed your head towards the small bed beside you, where she was still sleeping.

"Can we wake her up!?" Loki shook his head before looking at you, you nodded before he picked the baby girl up and caressed her cheek until she whined and opened her eyes.

Loki kissed her cheek before handing her to you, everyone gathered around to look at the little Angel.

"She’s so cute!"

"She has your eyes brother!"

"And your nose y/n"

You pouted at the last comment but Loki’s little pinch on to your nose made you giggle.

Tony and pepper were the first to hold her.

"What did you name her?" Said Natasha.

"Aurora…princess aurora lokidottir" you said.

Little Loki drabble for the soul :)

"Lookii!" You called from upstairs. You had just finished some work in which you had to leave the baby for a bit, but now you were all done and ready to go see him.

"Loookiii!" You called once again. Coming down from the stairs, you could hear Loki's giggles of delight. "Where's my little girl, hm?" She babbled in response. They were too young to talk at this point, but his excitement still shone through in his tone.

"Ah, there he iiss!!" You came into the room and there Loki was, laying on her little playmat with a big grin, her paci long gone somewhere. You walked over to her and knelt down, resting your hands on her tummy. "There's my little Loki! How are they? How's my tiny baby?"

You gently tickled his tummy and he flailed and giggled on the floor. "Is he good? Is he feeling super duper?" You laughed and Loki's string of giggles continued, only ceasing when you moved your hands away. You gently picked them up and sat them on your lap.

"Where's your paci gone, hm? Where did that go?" Loki seemed just as confused as you, and it could only make you chuckle a little. After a little looking around, you found it tucked under the playmat! You playfully gasped, "What's that doing there? How'd that get there sweetie?"

Loki's laughs started up again as you teased her. Shaking your head in an exaggerated manner, you carried Loki with you to the kitchen and cleaned up the paci, before popping it back in their mouth. "There we are baby, all better!" You kissed his nose and he smiled sweetly behind the reindeer themed pacifier.

I honestly want to draw her more 😭 but guess who lost his wacom pen? So I can only draw her traditionally.

My boyfriend (that now lives with me !!!) would have given me his pen, but he forgot em in Germany, so we're looking for replacements.

(Btw, wacom ABSOLUTELY SUCKS, if you want a replacement for their pens is the same price as a whole tablet here).
