My Strangetown 03-02-2023

After roughly 1 season in each household:

(playing ts2 super collection for mac bc i want to play on my laptop / can't be assed to troubleshoot ultimate c right now lolz)

i borked up the play order so a couple things weren't ideal. I think I'll eventually switch to a more wants-based playstyle, but for now I want them to do things I want them to. I do let them do a lot of things autonomously though.

Curious:

Pascal - gave birth to fem!Tycho. made an autonomous first move on Nervous, and ofc they fall in love so very easily lol. Pascal took Nervous's last name unfortunately. there're enough Curiouses in town so oh well. He got demoted for a chance event where he stood up for himself and then got the want to quit his job (which ended up being a positive memory so) I don't know what to do with him in those regards.

Nervous - Nervous and Pascal got married before any Beaker household shenanigans could even occur lol sorry no angst. Nervous being a family sim is having a pretty good time atm, I've kept the 'adopt a child' want locked that both he and Pascal have had since getting married, but I'm waiting until after Vidcund gives birth to bring another fuckin child into the house. (yeah Vidcund hasn't even given birth to his initial child(ren) and Pascal and Nervous are married and live together don't talk to me)

Vidcund - is doing some very helpful autonomous childcare for Tycho, so I think he'll be a better papa than I ever anticipated him to be. I did force twins and I'm really hoping for girl/boy I want to name them after his paternal grandparents Zo and Notzo because it's hilarious and the names kinda fit alien vibes? (I've seen people who have a single female baby name her Violet which is everything tbqh!) For now no romantic interests. Maybe he can become the resident 'gardener' heh heh heh.

Tycho - green baby :) is p high values for personality except is lazy (2/3 points) just started toddlerhood!

Nervous and also Vidcund maybe? had wants to adopt a kitten/pet so they have a kitten named Grim. Little s/o to Nervous's heritage m'pose.

Curious

Lazlo - I'm sowwy I married him off to Crystal and moved them downtown so fast bc i wanted more room in the house. I do slightly regret it but hey Lazlo invites himself over all the time. I wish I could get him his little hydroponic weed garden back since he left it back home. Also Crystal had given him a hot tub from their incredible date -- which had ended in woohoo and Pascal setting the kitchen on fire at the same time lol. His lifetime want is to reach the top of the scientist career but idk if that's really in line w his character aha.

Crystal - is a senator??? in my save. which is.. funny since ya know. Lazlo is a grimy little pothead sillyman. I need to spend more time with her to develop her character bc rn she's just some guy to me. I'm mad I made Crystal pregnant so fast instead of having them adopt a child later on in life.. oh well. (I made too many babies too fast bc I haven't played ts2 in ages and got overexcited...) Tycho and eventual baby Nova the cousins ever.

Beaker

Loki - has become good friends with Lazlo from bringing him home from work. real strange duo, but I guess Lazlo is the only one who never tried to get with Circe lol. He spends a lot of time cooking for his epic wife, and did a lot when she was pregnant so that she didn't have to eat burnt tv dinners all the time!

Circe - unfortunately for her, she and Loki rolled 'have a baby' after they woohoo'd early on. So Circe has had to stay home from work multiple days, and I feel bad bc she constantly rolls the want to 'go to work'. She seems to be slightly inferior to Loki when it comes to autonomous parenting, but the baby hasn't been taken away so good job mumz. She has gotten that promotion she wanted and is on track to get plenty more.

Ceres - their first child was a baby girl. she's still a baby and i'm a vanilla player so I know nothing abt her yet! I hope they can have a boy Atom, but since Circe doesn't seem to want to miss work ever I might make Loki get abducted? idk!

Singles

Lola - god this household was a struggle to get moving bc there were no jobs available that they wanted ever. So after a few days Lola got a job in the law career! She's girlbossing tf up. Did I consider getting her with Ajay simply so her name could be Lola Loner? Of course I did. However!! Since the game doesn't start you off with enough gay people I take the 'beard' turnoff to mean she doesn't like men teehee.

Erin - "but wait," you just thought, "doesn't Erin also have the 'beard' turn off?" YES! welcome to my rarepair. Girlboss x girlfail. I'm obsessed with them. (They both had a lil chemistry w each other so i jumped on that. listen I'm pushing things but not totally forcing them ok??) She has not rolled a want to get a job since she first moved in now it's gone so she's just freeloading.

Chloe - was surprisingly the first one to get a job because the slacker career was what she wanted and it was available on like day 1 or 2. Not feeling super inspired by her atm. she's fulfilled 1/20 woohoo partners for her lifetime wish (which I rerolled a few times bc I want them to be actually fucking doable) she gets on my nerves bc she fights Erin and Kristen so goddamn much. And I should mention they live in 73 road to nowhere which is the most evil demented build ever it is so unpleasant to play in and is tiny but was all they could afford.

Loner

Kristen - was so desperate to get out of the house she eloped with Ajay ahaha... (I had to do quite a bit of cheating relationships to get them together bc they never wanted to come over to each others houses and had only met once before) I had originally planned for Kristen to go for ladies but she was so miserable at home. and I wanted Ajay to pair up with a Singles lady but not Chloe (for now..) She also had joined the athlete career and got fired the first fucking day bc of a chance card like it was so bad. She's now in the medicine career bc it suits her personality/skills? I don't like how it kind of all goes against the tiny amount of character background she's given, but whatevs maybe she'll become an all-star athlete later. (Maybe she'll also realize she's not meant to be married to a man)

Ajay - literally just some guy. in the business career. has impregnated Kristen bc again, I got too excited about pairing people off and creating offspring. I'm not rly sure what I'll name this baby or why I'm having it. Maybe I'll get them taken away by social services and the Smiths can adopt to fulfill their family aspiration desires ooh. I think he might cross paths w Chloe a couple more times, hookup perhaps... destroy the marriage perhaps)

Smith

Poltech 9 - I call him Pete/Petey (PT) for short sometimes. He spent like 3/4 days straight only rolling 'adopt a pet' wants and I wanted to tear my hair out bc I adopted a cat and dog both for the family but he wouldn't stop rolling it. But all the family related events gave him a lot of aspiration points and I got him the elixir of life bc I mistakenly thought this could age him and now-elder Jenny down so they could have more kids but now they're both old and both have the "have 10 kids" want. which I want to give them!! so now they're gonna be adopting hella kids.

Jenny - She's newly elderly. Hasn't retired yet. I think I'll get her one more promotion before doing so. She does more parenting because PT9 can only just barely manage to take care of his own needs. (He doesn't even work!!) I wish I could've given her the elixir of life before she aged up :'-( so she could have more kids w her mans. everytime one of them enters the room as the other they get the little heart-y thought bubble and fan themselves. they're so in love.

Jill - she aged up with one of the outfits with a spiky collar lol. I guess she misses Johnny and this is how she expresses it. She's a popularity sim bc I hadn't made any rules for myself yet. Might change it to knowledge? she's just the little silly so I'm gonna let her explore her teenaged times.

Abhijeet - adopted child numero uno. So much for J names! or names with any connection to the family at all lol. I accidentally let the adoption popup time out but I wanted a child anyways. He's been here for like 1.5 days and I don't have a feel for him yet so we'll see!

Heidi - (named after an irl dog friend of mine) black large doggy. first pet adoption. she works in service.

Red - (also named after a real cat) was a red(orange) kitten but aged up and is now black?? so... Don't I look dumb...

Smith

Johnny - of course is an adult now. he wants to be a rock legend, so he's working towards that. He lives downtown with his now wife Ophelia. (they wanted to get engaged immediately okay they're super in love okay?) They live downtown bc I thought it suited the two of them.

Ophelia - is now a Smith. I'm kind of sad the Nigmos name is now totally gone, but i'm trying to honor her family other places. She aged up and immediately had aspiration failure because she had seen a ghost the day before and didn't go to university (I'm sorry you never rolled the want / I kind of forgot) All the "grew up bad" memories with Olive line up with this though! Ophelia had a horrible pregnancy, constantly exhausted and always needing to eat 2/3 servings of food in a row. I ultimately do think she's happy though bc she's living with Johnny and is away from Olive's ghost party.

Willow - the baby was a girl! (which makes 3 girls so far??) I thought it'd be really sweet to name her after Ophelia's late mother and only a couple minutes later did I realize I named this child Willow Smith lol. It's fine it's cool (I think irl Willow Smith is kind of Johnny x Ophelia core actually?? brand new sentence lol)

Specter

Olive - uhhh she deadddd... she started dying literally as Ophelia was doing the moving out sequence so I got the fun "you have killed off all your sims in this household bozo" popup. She sent Nervous a whopping 2000 simoleons of inheritance!! The Specter estate is now vacant.. maybe one of Nervous or Ophelia's descendants will move in years down the line. She died with plat aspiration so that was cool. Because she actually likes seeing ghosts! (ahem Ophelia cough ahem)

Grunt

General Buzz - as soon as I loaded in the lot he was playing with lil Buck and having a grand ol' time. He mostly just goes to work and comes back home. Haven't had any real luck or inspo with developing outside relationships (maybe he'll be one of Chloe's flings lol) He did get a 50,000 simoleon bonus for evaporating an asteroid about to collide with earth so that was pretty sweet. I need to figure out how to spend it lol.

Tank - is now waiting to go to La Fiesta Tech in the bin. He mostly just wanted to impress his father and fight Ripp. I think Ripp actually beat him though.. I'm probably gonna set him up with that one La Fiesta evil gay twin because they are silly and cute!

Ripp - is such a good brother to Buck, they get along so well without any effort on my end. Which is good for him since he isn't friends with Tank or Buzz, and Ophelia and Johnny are adults living downtown. I want to get him with Jill Smith, but of course they keep playing phone tag with each other. Soon... I guess I'm trying a lil too hard.

Buck - what can I say, he's just a little guy. He did make his rounds in the obstacle course outside thanks to dad, and is still doing very well in school. He likes Tank, loves Ripp, and he also loves General Buzz I think. I suppose he's a little softer on him since he's the baby of the family and last child Lyla left him. The game immediately had other plans for the whole "he wonders why his father never seems to notice him" thing, but maybe that'll change. No idea what his future holds.

I spent like at least 2 hours writing all this, I'm gonna start a spreadsheet soon probably. Also need a more organized way to write summaries for these characters, but at least I've written it somewhere i.e. here. Time to not give my back a break and spend the day hunched over my laptop again.

Children status:

Lilian has three kids, a set of twins Elizabeth and Lilith, and a son Theo. Theo is shy and quiet and really sweet. But he is pretty dumb. He has big golden eyes and jet black hair. Elizabeth has water bending, and she has naturally raven blue hair, Lilith has brown hair and fire bending powers. In Lilian's words "Elizabeth would be the older more serious type, who loves knowledge, creativity, and values her books more then anything. She would honestly be the more protective one out of them both, thinks with her head not with her heart. Lilith would be the wild child, loves dance, and most importantly herself. She's deep into self love, a ray of sunshine. She would most likely be the social butterfly out of them both. She would also be a huge mama's girl who can't go a day without her mothers being there to cuddle her or give her love. She is also very naive."

I have two kids, Lillian (spelled with 2 L's) Allie Maximoff, and Delilah Aira Maximoff. Lillian is the same age as the twins, and Delilah is Theo's age. Lillian is outgoing and blunt and very sarcastic and sassy. She has Wanda's red hair, and my green eyes. Delilah is quite but she is really big on rights and standing up for people and their voices.

Lexi has Parker in her and May's custody, and an adopted daughter Lindi.

That is all the kids I know of rn

Our powers and family backgrounds:

@lilian-maximoff she is the goddess of life (she is immortal and can age shift) and she pestered Dr. strange until he taught her magic. She is Wanda's sister, and Nat is like a sister to her. Eventually her and Peggy (When Theo is three) marry Sersi and have a poly relationship.

@scarthefangirl I am Dr. Strange's younger sister, but our parents only wanted sons so when they saw I was a girl they dropped me off at the red room, which I cycled through twice. My powers include seeing my opponent's future moves before they do them, and I am very athletic and strong and good at being graceful

@nyx-aira She is the weird lady who we aren't really sure if she is a witch or not, and she lives with Agatha but they are not official. Strange things happen around her all the time, almost as if the laws of nature and this dimension do not apply to her. It seems like her mood can affect her surrounding and there have been some weird sightings of "dark creatures " near the house. Aira is an excellent swordsman and usually carries a blade or two with her.

@leximills2004 she has elemental control

@procrastinatingsapphictrash she has no powers, but she can fight really well.

@sarahp-stan is immortal due to Hydra drug testing, also giving her the ability to create/summon things she wants out of thin air.

@ynscrazylife N/A

@i-writes-things She used to work for Hydra and knew Wanda. She can teleport and has heat ray vision and is a great fighter. She got out of Hydra and is now a normal high school girl with super powers.

@xxlastoftheemosxx is the younger sister of Natasha and Yelena. She lives with Allie and Nat. In her words "Okay so I’m a vampire with the ability to sap peoples strength. My birth family was all murdered by Hydra because they wanted to use me, I ran into Clint and Natasha while they were on a mission and Tasha and I have been sisters ever since then she introduced me to Yelena and we became really close as well." She met spiderman #3 in the events of NWH, and when he left it was devastating. But Lilian used her powers to bring him back and save the day.

@goddessofmischief For powers she is pretty similar to Enchantress. As for background in her words "My background and past would be that I was a Widow in the Red Room, who was trained by Bucky Barnes. Then, when Loki came to Earth in 'the Avengers,' he recruited me with the mind stone like he did Hawkeye. Afterwards, I became an Avenger, but Loki and I reunited when I joined Thor to restore order to the realms in 'Thor the Dark World' in an attempt to redeem myself. I became his advisor when he masqueraded as Odin and took over Asgard. However, we were separated again during the events of 'Infinity War,' when Loki was killed and I was sent to Earth with the Hulk. After that, I fought in the battle of Wakanda and survived the Snap, joining the Avengers on their 'time heist.' After Thanos was killed and everyone was snapped back, Thor decided to join the Guardians of the Galaxy, but I decided to stay with Bucky and Sam, and I was with them through the events of 'Falcon and Winter Soldier.' Bucky and I reconnected, so there's a bit of a love triangle there."

@dany-is-my-queen is dating Kate and they live together in a house. In Kenia's words "The oldest daughter of Tony Stark. With all the technology your father had you requested to be put on tests to give you superpowers, which resulted in super-speed (even faster than Pietro) a very passionate girl that loves to write also, be a romantic, and help everyone in whatever she can, smart & self confident"

Pets:

@lilian-maximoff and @scarthefangirl (me) have three cats named Tulip, Orchard, and cherry. And two dogs, one is a big female one named princess, the other is a tiny boy named Tank. The cats are cuddly, but very mean if that makes sense?? Princess is very friendly and is a big ol softy who is scared of everything. Tank is yappy, and he messes with the big dog (and small ones) and he has a major attitude with people. He likes to nip at you. The only ones he gets along with is Emma (@i-writes-things) and Lilith.

@nyx-aira and Agatha have a that showed up on their doorstep one day, and it tries to eat the neighbor's car.

@procrastinatingsapphictrash and Natasha have a cat named Logo

@ynscrazylife and Carol have a cat (maybe a flerkin) and some alien space animals

@sarahp-stan has two cats Rosalie, and Luna. luna tends to be more shy while rosalie is more open to visitors but both are protective of each other

@dany-is-my-queen and Kate have Lucky, the pizza dog.

OK i read the update and i have two important declarations: i still don't like nat; her giving them the silent treatment and not communicating when they reached out to her isn't exactly giving anyone the impression "she was worried about them, not mad they picked loki over her" u know?? so im sorry but nat is my least favorite rn!

and my SECOND declaration is that they are being so Immature and not being rational about how this is making loki feel and this is coming from someone who is terrified of even thinking about being pregnant. if their immaturity (so to speak) carries over into the next chapter i may be sad. i also dont want them to be angry about clint on nat's behalf; she hasnt deserved it imo. THIS CHAPTER HAS ME STAMPING MY FEET LIKE A PETULANT CHILD. communicate people please i am begging.

BUT ALL IN ALL i absolutely loved this update, lowkey (get it? loki.. anyways) glad they aren't pregnant. your writing makes it feel so life-like u know??

NOOOOOO i love ms. nat ! i loved that she still came to help the reader when she needed her the most, even though nat was/is still upset. i hope that even if you don't think she has anything to be mad about you can still appreciate her putting it aside to help? just because her emotions are real regardless of if her right to be angry is. if you don't though that's totally fine. different opinions are what makes the world go around and i LOVE to hear y'all's thoughts either way!!!

i do understand what you mean about clint. i really struggled to pick a scene from the next update to use as a preview - i didn't want it to be too spoiler-y but i also wanted to give readers a taste of what would happen. your ask made me realize that the portion i picked as preview might make the clint thing seem like it will play a bigger part than it actually will in the chapter. maybe that makes you feel better? like it definitely gets addressed, but so do a bunch of other things so i wouldn't say it's dwelled upon. i also wouldn't say it's a main source of the reader's emotions or feelings or whatever, just a small part of it. but again i must defend my bestie nat because clint and the reader (and now wanda WandaNat confirmed HELLO) are the only people she cares about, and loki played some part in creating distance between her and clint. we're kind of back at that nat has a lot of emotions that have a genuine effect on her, even if her anger is misplaced. again, you're 100% allowed to think what you do though and i actually get excited when readers have different opinions - it's like a confirmation i'm writing the situations with enough nuance that they can be interpreted differently, which was EXACTLY my intention when i started to write this fic :)) so like. i do truly get excited to see messages from people who have different experiences reading the fic it's just so cool and like it reminds me that there are living perceiving people reading my fic on their laptops or phones or whatever and it's crazy in best way.

What would you consider a talent of yours? Assuming the worst out of every imaginable situation. If Hogwarts was a real place and you were able to attend, what class do you think you’d excel at? According to those little quizzes I've taken, I lean mostly towards Hufflepuff, but with Gryffindor traits as well. Would you rather learn more about space or more about the ocean? Well, ideally, space, but I think learning much more about our ocean would be more beneficial to our planet and our prosperity on Earth. Do you have a mental illness? If yes, how have you learned to cope with it? If no, do you ever suspect you may have one? I have a lot. My bipolarity, OCD, and PTSD are *mostly* under control, but I most certainly still have trouble sometimes. My anxiety and AvPD are still rabid fucking hounds. My depression was well-managed not even that long ago, but life circumstances have it so it's been more aggressive than what was usual. Do you have a favorite character from The Avengers? I dunno, I like Loki ig. Thor is cool, too. It's been WAY too long since I've seen that movie. What type of cake would you like right now? Double chocolate cake sounds great rn. @_@ What was your dream job when you were a child? Are you going after that dream or not? Why? Paleontologist, and no, because I don't want to travel for work, and I could also never handle the heat during site excavations. Even though it may not work all the time, what usually helps make you feel better when you’re upset or down? Watching one of my comfort series on YouTube from channels I enjoy. Why do you personally take surveys? It's a method to just get all these thoughts out of my head and to vent when I need to without actually directly burdening someone with my problems. No one has to read 'em. It's purely for my benefit, and also to pass the time, which I have too much of. Are there any words that you can’t stand? Derogatory terms for certain groups of people. What are words that you love? Words like "serendipity," "bliss," joyous, bubbly words. I'm blanking on actual terms. If you had an endless supply of money for clothing only, what would you load your closet with? Ohhhh, lots of shit with studs and spikes. :') I've wanted a studded leather jacket since I was in middle school. Have never gotten one because of how pricey they are. :( I'd also get some KILLER boots and just obtain a more gothic wardrobe. I'd love corsets too if my body ever shrinks back to a point I'd be comfortable wearing well-made ones. What is your favorite type of cookie? Chocolate chip. What is your favorite type of candy? Mom instead likes to sometimes offer them bottles of water or if she's really feeling generous, a cheap meal at like McDonald's or something. She doesn't like to hand out money because, well, we know what a vast majority of homeless people spend it on. Do you like to brag or are you modest? I get really uncomfortable bragging, so I try to be as modest as I can be. What your favourite thing to have on toast? A/N: Okay wow, this is way past overdue. I am high key sorry I stopped posting randomly, school really took up literally all of my time. I can probably say the same thing will happen when I go back for spring semester, but I will try my hardest if I ever have free time to write!! This one was really fun, I’m just really sorry I didn’t get it tout sooner. I personally celebrate Christmas, but I didn’t want to leave out other holidays, so I hope my lil Hanukkah toss in is okay!! Enjoy!!

The holidays were always a complicated time for your family. Your dad is not the most religious person, but your sister is four years old and wants nothing more than Santa to come down the chimney and surprise her with all the things she’s wanted all year long. Your dad, of course, is also the best dad in the world, so he happily plays along and only complains to Pepper every now and then. And perhaps the absolute biggest downer of all, your grandparents were killed around this time. That really gets to your dad. He acts like everything is fine all the time during the holidays and just in general, but you know he’s struggling deep down.

On the other hand, your boyfriend loves the holiday season. Due to him being a literal Norse God, he absolutely adores celebrating Yule. He never fails to inform you of every detail of his people’s way of celebrating. In fact, this year you’re going to New Asgard to celebrate the days of Yuletide with him. Nothing about the holidays can make him sad, so you’re stuck in a crossroads between him and your dad. Oh, and the fact that you won’t be there for Christmas day this year also hurts your dad’s heart. You swear you saw it get a little dimmer when you let him know.

However, there is one thing you know that will always cheer him up. Food. And that’s how you ended up here, in your kitchen with your boyfriend with a Christmas playlist blasting. “This is very fun, (Y/N)! Now, what can I do to assist you?” Thor asks, grinning from ear to ear. You bought him an apron that says “Kiss the Cook” on it, and you’ve never been prouder about something in your entire life. What a sight it is to see the God of Thunder cheesing in a cheesy apron. “Well if you could get me some eggs and butter out of the fridge that would be ideal,” you tell him, and he hurries and does that. But he also drops the carton. “Not to worry! If they are broken it is okay, we need their insides anyways.”

“You know for a God you’re pretty damn clumsy,” you chuckle, bending over to pick up the eggs. Luckily, only two broke, so you weren’t out of business... yet. “My love, what else can I do?”

“Ummm- oh! Can you get all the icing out? And the cookie cutters? I want these cookies to be cute as all hell.”

“Yes of course!” You hear some shuffling and then a loud crash. You quickly turn around to see Thor on the ground, a box of cookie cutters spilled out around him. You can’t control your laughter, and he just smiles. “This is obviously very funny for you, but I am afraid the cookie cutters are now dirty,” he says, hoisting himself up from the ground. You just roll your eyes in response. “Thor, baby, we can wash them. With water. They won’t stay dirty.”

“Ah, yes. I forgot about that,” he says, beginning to pick them up and toss them in the sink. While he was singing along to an instrumental version of Carol of the Bells and getting soap everywhere around him, you finished mixing the batter and began placing it on the cookie tray. “Do you wanna try?” you ask your boyfriend, who is now quite literally just standing behind you and peering out from behind your shoulder. “May I?” You hand him the batter, stepping aside. “So all you have to do is- nope, okay you can also do that,” you begin explaining that for this specific cookie you must roll the batter into little balls and place them at least two inches away from each other because they tend to spread out quite a lot, but he just slapped down a glob of batter onto the tray. “It appears I have done it wrong.”

“That’s okay, we can give that one to Loki.” Thor chuckles at this, handing you the batter again to finish up the batter before you put it in the oven. “Okay, now we put them in for about 10 to 12 minutes, always start with the lower time because you can always put them in longer but you can never fix them if they’re burnt,” you say out loud to yourself, which causes Thor to look at you with a shit eating grin because he thinks you’re absolutely adorable. After you put the trays of cookies into the oven, you turn to Thor and give him a smile. “And now we wait! But we should probably get all the icing ready,” you move to the store-bought icing because you know Thor attempting to make icing with you would just be… messy. “So, we have red, green, white, blue, black, brown, silver, gold, and yellow. Perfect,” you mumble, and Thor intervenes. “May I ask why we have blue? The colors for Christmas are red and green, are they not?”

“They are, but Hanukkah is blue and silver and we’re including Hanukkah, especially since Pietro and Wanda celebrate Hanukkah. As for the other colors, there are characters we’re gonna be making. Inclusivity, Thor,” you tell him, grabbing the cookie cutters he got out a while ago and sitting them next to the icing. You sigh with contempt, proud of yourself when you feel two strong arms wrap around your waist. That’s when you hear the famous intro to the most popular Christmas song in existence. You immediately zip around, facing your boyfriend, and begin singing the lyrics. “I… don’t want a lot for Christmas… there… is just one thing I need…” Thor looks at you with an amused look on his face. This isn’t the first time he’s heard you belt out the song to him this year, but he loves it every time. “Is… youuuuuuuuuu,” you finish the beginning, and before you know it, you’re being picked up and danced around the kitchen. You and Thor “waltz” and mess around, using a whisk and the head of Pepper’s mixer as microphones. Through your laughter and singing, you hear your little sister’s voice. “Ew,” is all she says, and you and Thor stop, looking over at her. “Ew? I think you mean, ‘aw, how adorable.’”

“No, she definitely means ew. You two, are way too relationship-y. Baking cookies together? Disgusting,” you hear your dad say, entering the room behind Morgan and picking her up. “Shush!! And get out you weren’t supposed to be back until 7!”

“She got out of karate lessons early, something about holiday cheer. I’ll leave, but only if I get to taste the cookie dough,” Tony says and you groan, giving him a little dollop. “Mmm, sugar cookies. Good choice, sweetheart.”

“Leave!” He chuckles, walking out of the kitchen and heading upstairs to entertain Morgan for a little while. “As much as I love him, he can be so unbearable,” you say to Thor, causing him to chuckle. “Well, you two are very similar. You are possibly the only person who can actually get Tony Stark to leave a room,” he says, and you roll your eyes. “Morgan and Pepper have him absolutely wrapped around their fingers, too, babe.”

“Well, so do you! You also have the strongest Avenger wrapped around your finger as well,” he says, winking at you. You raise an eyebrow at him with a confused look. “I don’t have Bruce wrapped around my finger.” You can literally see him give you a “seriously?!” look before he says, “Okay, that is it. Prepare yourself, I am not going to hold back with this,” he says, approaching you wiggling his fingers. “Thor, don’t you dare!” you scream, starting to run around the kitchen as he chases you, ready to tickle the living shit out of you. “Say it was a joke!” he says, catching up to you and attacking you with tickles. Needless to say, your dad didn’t actually leave, and he recorded the whole thing. Although the holiday season was bad for him for many years, celebrating it with his wife, two kids, and God-who-is-like-my-third-child was amazing. Your cookies are also really damn good, and every Avenger enjoyed them and every time they asked what the secret ingredient was you answered with the cheesiest thing imaginable. Love.
