Hello everyone, it's been a while. Recently I've returned to the Merlin fandom because I saw some gifset of them and The Feels, as we used to say back in the day (do we still say that now?), came back in a sudden and mad rush. I've been revisiting some old merthur fics (and also trying to find some new ones too) when I realised that I ought to have a fresh copy of dear old Loaded March extracted straight from AO3 itself and save them all, because you never know these days. And then while I was doing that, I realised that I couldn't find my compilation in my fic library! The very thing that I had spent much a time putting together, I do not know where it is?? And so I had to make my way back here to find the links where I had uploaded the compilations hahaha

Anyhow. I'm glad my uploads are still intact and that mediafire is still a functional site (you really never know these days). I hope I might be able to find the original and alarmingly big word document again some day... It's probably in some drive I hope...

I'm not sure if anyone still checks these tags or still follows this blog. If you see this then I think it's lovely that this has reached you again after so many years and I hope you are doing well!

P.S. As of today, the PDF has 1125 downloads while the EPUB has close to 800. Apparently in March 2018 they were at 332 and 225 respectively. It blows my mind that so many people checked them out. Thank you for the lovely support and I hope the compilations have been of service to you! ETA: Since I haven't been here a long while, I also decided to go and look at tags on the reblogs of the compilation post that I've missed... You are all so very lovely, thank you for the kind words :')

In case you are still wondering what I'm talking about: I had in the past made a compilation of all 16 parts (and I am now remembering, also one of the extras!) of Loaded March into a single document, available in both PDF and EPUB formats, which are both available for download :] It's the pinned post in my tumblr, or you can access it here.

So I’m the person who made the post asking for Merlin fanfic recs and HOLY SHIT thank you so much for mentioning Loaded March 😭 It’s my favorite Merlin fic of all time and I was getting really sad cause no one was mentioning it.

So yeah, thanks for your amazing taste! Also wanted to know if you’ve read anything else by footloose?

I LOVE LOADED MARCH! I think I made so many posts about it the last time I read it lol. And it's so addicting to me that everytime someone even mentions it on Tumblr, I get the urge to re-read it (and I swear after seeing your post, I did open it again though I don't know if I'll be able to read the whole thing now)

I HAVE! After Loaded March, I went on a Footloose spree and read all her works. Almost all of her works are in my favorites, downloaded and all.

Excluding Loaded March, I think pretty much all are there. I adore We are all Diamonds.

I also love the very crack-ish very dark-ish Next to Die, solely because arrogant Arthur and authority Merlin who are both psychopaths written by footloose is a treat to read.

And oh, Following the Beast and All the Dead are here where I want something action-oriented and brutal (though Next to die fits in this one also).

Also, Shadowlord and Pirate King is brilliantly written and the art with it, holy shit! Mushroomtale and footloose are both genius at everything they've given us on A03. The Western AUs are also pretty good.

I'VE SAID IT ONCE AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN. FOOTLOOSE IS A GENIUS TO COME UP WITH SUCH BRILLIANT WORK AND IF SHE WERE STILL ACTIVE ON A03 OR TUMBLR, I SWEAR I WOULD BE HER BIGGEST FAN CHEERING HER ON! Though I'm still cheering you on, footloose, wherever you are and if you ever read this!❤️

Hello! I have recently finished Loaded March for the first time and. What a read. What a piece! Just an amazing feat and I'm so sad to be at the end, but it brought me so much joy along the way! I went straight to the tumblr tag and saw all your posts about it, so sorry for the reblog and like spam! But thanks for posting about it too 😁

No worries at all - I love seeing people have finished reading through reblogs of those 😂 the only downside is it tempts me to do another re-read and I ABSOLUTELY do not have time to rn 😂

What a fic though! Genuinely one of my all time favourites, changed me as a person etc etc etc. Also like every time I reread it I find a different aspect of it to obsess over?? 10/10 great experience all round!!

So I caved.

Started Loaded March. Again. You'll probably see me in a few weeks once I come to terms with it again lol.

It's so beautiful. Radioman is so so good. How the fuck did I forget it was so good?

And to think I was reluctant to read it the first time because it was so huge. Footloose is a genius and Loaded March is everything I've ever wanted. Captain Pendragon, here I come!
