i went to my local library for the first time in years and i feel so bad because the people working there were so kind and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to see someone that used to be there ages ago come back in adulthood (i was still in the system from when i was like 12) but i have something wrong with my brain where i can only read books in english because it feels like im actively feeding the writing motor in my brain with good words so its double useful but they only have such a small selection and i feel like i already got most of what i want to read and its only 4 books. but also the people there were so nice and i feel bad coming once and then never again. would it be an insane thing to go there just to borrow books for the rest of my life
