Going to say this now even though I barely post here::::: Adaptations are never meant to be a 1:1 recreation of the original source material. The goal is never to recreate the exact same experience in a different format, the whole point of remaking something in a different format is to make something new.
I don’t understand why people are out here acting like the new Netflix ATLA walked onscreen, shot the original with a 44 and declared itself the new ATLA. I’m not saying you can’t criticise anything about it or any other adaptation, I just think a lot of people need to remember that an adaptation that gives you the same experience and explores the exact same themes and doesn’t elaborate on or look at things in different angles would be utterly pointless.

This is my dream Zelda cast.
Morgan Davies as Link. He's great at playing a nevrotic small bean with a hero's heart and has just the right look (he played Koby in One Piece).
Hunter Schafer as Zelda. Obviously, she looks perfect for the part (especially Twilight Princess' Zelda), but she also has a great childlike vulnerability coupled with a regal pose.
They're both trans. Unfortunately, this means it will never happen.

My Live Action Crocodile Fancast
(I’ll preface this by saying this is just for fun, I know the live action won’t have any famous actors playing him like the ones on this list.)
All of these actors are in their 40s and 50s so they're dilf certified. I could totally imagine them with the Italian gangster vibe! They'd look so cool sitting at that desk with hair slicked back, smoking a cigar, the gold earing, the golden hook, wearing that huge coat while the bananawanis swim around in the tank behind.
Benicio Del Toro
Out of all of these, he might be the most perfect. In the last picture he's even doing Crocodile's signature look with the upturned eyebrow glare!
Idris Elba
He has an amazing voice that would work so well for Croco!! Plus he's super tall and buff. And that smolder 😫
Park Hae-Soo
He plays amazing villains (Money Heist: Korea, Squid Game) and he just exudes utter suaveness and coolness.
Rodrigo de la Serna
I love his nose and I think a scar running across his face would look so cool! He has the ability to look so evil and his voice is so cool!
Park Hee-Soon
I think these pictures say it all. He just looks perfect for the role.
Pêpê Rapazote
The voice, the smolder, the nose, those eyes... besides Benicio, he's next in line to be the best out of these, in my opinion.
Tom Hardy
Look at the way he smokes! Like... yeah, that's Sir Crocodile if I've ever seen him.
Who are your favorites? Who do you think would be a good actor to play Crocodile? I’d love to know!

Normally I don't touch FB but literally accidentally opened the app and thought I'd take a scroll.
Saw this which I only have 1 issue with.
Dwayne the Rock should clearly be cast as Toph

OPLA fan cast polls - Top 10 winners!
By far most of the submitted fancasts were accepted by the fans, having had a minimum of 50% yay votes. But which fancasts had the most fans behind them? Here is the top 10!
10. Karen Fukuhara as Tashigi with 82.4% of the votes.
Her experience with martial arts and sword fighting might have convinced the fans who weren't familiar with her previous roles yet!
9. Rhey Ripley as Charlotte Smoothie with 82.5% of the votes.
Her wrestler build probably convinced a lot of people she could pull this off. And maybe the lesbians went wild about her.
8. Peter Capaldi as Dr Hiriluk with 84% of the votes.
Once a doctor... (also, he just kinda looks like him)
7. Alexander Siddig as Nefertari Cobra with 84.5% of the votes.
This Sudanese actor convinced the fans that he could play another desert kingdom ruler!
6. Amber Midthunder as Laki with 85% of the votes.
With only 1 vote really against her (we will find you and hunt you down 😛), the fans think this native American actress is perfect to play Laki!
5. Jamie Lee Curtis as Kureha with 87% of the votes.
With by far the most submissions, I had expected her to come out on top, but 5th place isn't bad at all either! Besides, she has practically been cast already, and the fans seem to agree! If someone else gets cast after all, there'd better be a real good reason for that!
4. Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson as Brogy with 88.1% of the votes.
This tall strongman from Iceland seemed the perfect fit for the friendly giant!
3. Kevin Chamberlin as Tom with 89.1% of the votes.
Tom's a fishman, Kevin is human. And yet, look at their faces: the same. The fans could do nothing but agree with this fan cast (though they would also love him as Wapol).
2. Michael Jai White as Ohm with 89.8% of the votes.
Corporate needs you to find the differences between these two pictures.
The fans: "They're the same picture."
No one voted against this fan cast, so in that aspect you could say he should be the winner! However, a few more people needed to be convinced, compared to the number one...
And the winner...
1. Javicia Leslie as Miss Doublefinger with 92.9% of the votes!
Her looks, her acting experience (as Batwoman for example), and her experience with different (combat) sports have convinced almost all of the fans that she is a perfect fit! We are looking forward to see Javicia as Miss Doublefinger in the next season (?) of the One Piece Live Action!
Thank you all for submitting your fancasts and for voting on these polls! ❤

Ahh so yall really getting mad just because people wanted her to play as rapunzel even though it's a fan casting?? Okay like I get it you want a German blonde to be casted as rapunzel but that doesn't mean yall have to be rude and racist to her.
Another thing that annoys me is that yall hate the fact that people cast her as rapunzel but yall don't hate it when she people want to cast her as mother gothel? Isn't mother gothel white and a German too? So why yall mother fuckers don't want her to play as rapunzel but as mother gothel???
And some yall really had to add Tiana and Moana into this like saying "If rapunzel can be played by a Indian woman then Tiana be played by a white women." Or "If rapunzel can be played by a Indian woman than Moana can be played as a White Woman." Shut the actual fuck up. Don't be adding Tiana and Moana into this shit ass argument yall are fighting over for.
No, Tiana cannot be played by anyone other than a black woman. Because her being black African-American woman in the 1920s south is one of the reasons she couldn't have her own restaurant. The story wouldn't even be making sense if yall want to cast her as white women. She is also based on a real life person.
As for Moana you shit heads, it's important that Moana to be casted by a Polynesian because the movie is surrounded by a real life culture. It's also Polynesian Mythology, Moana is depicted as a strong-willed daughter of a chief of a Polynesian village, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Tefiti. Shit wouldn't make sense if Moana or Tiana was casted by a white person. For rapunzel it's only just her golden hair that's important not her skin Colour nor her culture.
And guys it's.. FAN CASTING... Let me say it again, FAN CASTING. Yall don't have to be rude nor racist to Avantika just because people want to cast her as Rapunzel like I know yall tired of making white people into black people but guys... It's a FAN CAST, you guys really arguing over something that's not even CONFIRMED. And yall really getting mad at Avantika just because she's Indian and not at milo because he's a zionist. Like how are yall getting mad at Avantika for people wanting to cast her as Rapunzel but not Milo?? (People wanted to cast him as Flynn Rider) Yall mother fuckers need to do some research before attacking people you racist fuck heads.
