This post made a great point that Hunter's eyes might glow in the dark (or reflect light) like a dog/cat's eyes do, which is EXTRA hilarious when you remember that Eber's eyes would too.
Which means Darius is gonna live with a beast demon brother and a grimwalker son who both have glow in the dark eyes.
The potential for pranks they could pull on him are endless

The Found Family Triforce Trio
I love having a ever so slightly different approach to the found family version of the Triforce Trio and the lore there. This is not canon, but I don’t think I mind that.
This version is one where Ganondorf was genuinely just trying to make conditions better for his tribe and on his way back to his rented room in town unwittingly stumbles across the little Princess and a small feral boy outside the castle after dark(they were trying to catch fireflies with varying levels of success).
Instantly, they’re all over Ganondorf because the fireflies basically fall into a trance and follow him until he dismisses them. (It was a simple spell he prefers using in my version so he can see better in the dark)
They love it. They love Ganondorf’s subtle charge of magic around him, they adore how gentle he is with them despite his frustrations with how those meetings are going, and the fireflies are definitely a plus because they now have a jar full of them.
The little Princess is scared of the dark and it’s too warm for a fire during that summer. Impa didn’t seem to know what to do, but Link sure did when he became friends with her. They were just having difficulties because Link isn’t very agile like Saria or even Mido.
So Ganondorf starts to show up to help babysit the Princess. Link starts following him back to the rental room, and Ganondorf lets him because Link is literally homeless at the moment.
Link has full access to the Fierce Deity power even when he’s a child in this version, and Ganondorf stares unflinchingly back at the Deity.
When the true colors of the King show, leading him to outright tell Ganondorf to his face that he isn’t helping because they’re brown, Impa firmly decides that Ganondorf is a better influence on the Princess than the King himself is and passes the honor of caretaker to him so she can resign out of spite and lead a revolution with the women of the Gerudo.
So when the revolution is about to hit the castle, Ganondorf grabs both and runs.
Link is mostly confused about the transition, but Zelda is alarmed. She doesn’t know what’s happening, why Ganondorf would rush them out so quickly, and why he’s not explaining even as they’re on a horse out of the city.
They go to the Lon Lon Ranch first. Ganondorf has a friend there (my oc, Bear) who will give them a place in the barn for a while with him because he lives in the loft. Ganondorf leaves them with Bear and Phantom, because he wants to help Impa raise hell.
There was only one incident where Phantom had to be overprotective and it was when some of the King’s most trusted servants came searching for Zelda. This is kinda what it looked like since Phantom wasn’t yet fully grown.
After that incident, Ganondorf made his ghostly counterpart. It was made specifically to protect Zelda and Link, and to make it easier for Bear to work the ranch.
We’ll see where this goes later on, maybe, but I definitely adore how it’s going.

Howdy, do you think Harvey will play a bigger role in stain? I liked him standing up for Alex it'd be rad to see more of that
I love that you made an account and called yourself anon, instead of making an account and just checking the 'anon message' thing like, this is... making me extremely happy.
Okay so, I don't know how much Harvey will be standing up for Alex. I have mixed feelings about that (I both want it, but also want Alex to stand up for himself because more people have his back).
While I want people to come to Alex's defense, what I want to write more is people defending Alex against, well...Alex.
And we will be seeing more of that.
Harvey's coming into the story again in chapters 17 and 18! :D

Hi all! It's the next update of the Chill Valicer Save, bringing us to Spring Sunday in the game and my birthday in real life! So everybody be nice and like this update. :p Today was another day spent largely at the store, so let's get straight into it --
-->Started with a few werewolf shenanigans from Alice -- thanks to her and Victor's amazing bed, she was full energy around 4:30 AM, and as she was already pretty Furious, I decided her task for the morning would be to knock herself over the edge so she could RAMPAGE and then immediately regain control with her Fury reset. She thus got sent outside to transform into her beast form and do werewolf stuff – marking her territory, howling, smelling and scavenging for treasures (nothing good though -- scavenging doesn't actually turn up stuff most of the time, I've noticed), things like that. *shrug* Sometimes, you just gotta indulge the beast!
-->While that was going on, Smiler finished off another computer chip and a mechanism on the robotics bench, then wandered into the living room to prune the regrown bonsai into a playful shape. I allowed this because I was curious as to what a "playful shape" was -- turns out it's a freezer bunny. XD I quite like that!
-->Victor woke up a little bit later with a talent point in hand – I had him spend it on “Charge Control” to reduce the amount of charge he builds up from casting spells (and as he does a LOT of that, it’s an important upgrade!), then head downstairs to do some laundry, which came with some free flirting from Smiler. :p Once everything was in the wash, he got dressed and headed into his greenhouse to check on all of his plants, and Smiler headed to the cow paddock to go refill Moory’s feed and check on the cow. Because we can't have this fussy cow deciding we don't love her, after all! After making sure she was good, I decided to have Smiler tip her (in Sims terms, this means “making it rain” simoleons in front of your cow) to get some enriched milk from the day's milking, then left them to it while I checked in on Alice! How was her proto-"rampage" going?
-->Well, uh, turns out she was rather more into cleaning up puddles and chatting with inanimate objects (like Victor's lettuce). Which, I couldn't object to the former, at least, even if it wasn't in my plan for her for the day. I was determined to knock her over the edge into a proper RAMPAGE, though, so after sending her to feed Toothy, I had her start going places FEROCIOUSLY and marking her territory to kick up the old Fury...
