Fun fact about MJ Wheeler: he realised he liked boys when he and Will started drifting apart suddenly during sophomore year. He doesn’t think Will could ever like him back though. If he did, he wouldn’t distance himself from Mike, right? Now he has an excuse and reason to grow closer to Will again. Competing for Spider-Man’s heart. (Part 2 of this) (next part)

short silly and not fully fleshed wyllstarion headcanon that just occurred to me thanks to your "sometimes a family is" post: astarion wakes up in the middle of the night, looks to the side and sees the owlbear resting its head on wyll's belly, wyll sleeping with one hand on its head
Oh to be an owlbear resting comfortably on Wyll's belly n sleeping peacefully with one of his strong hands resting gently on ur head....
(Meanwhile Astarion's gnawing on his own arm in a vain attempt to distract himself from thoughts about how it'd feel to have Wyll's fingers sleepily carding through his curls, cool head resting on his warm abdomen, blood churning like the sea beneath his ear-
Owlbear just looks at him smugly and snuggles closer THE LITTLE SHIT-)

why didn’t lovechild!au geralt ever go looking for jaskier?
That is a good question! I think there are various things at play.
First there is Ciri – which he did take in shortly after they separated. Since I took wild hunt Ciri for this story (when they meet later) this does change her age quite drastically. It deages her quite a bit (if Milek is around 14 and she is ~24) that means Geralt took her in when she was nine. And I think that does change things. His focus was on her.
Then there is Yennefer – I think she wanted to encourage him to look out for Jaskier, but she is also majorly pissed at him. I feel like their dynamic changes a lot because she is aware of Milek. (It’s way cooler, for a start.) It’s not her intention but... Geralt feels even worse because of that? She makes him feel like he did something unforgiveable. Which makes avoidance a bigger topic on his side.
And after a while… I dunno. When Yen and Geralt had that talk on the dragon hunt, that this life they lead doesn’t fit and work with a baby – Geralt was not wrong. And I feel like, with time, and what Ciri goes through too, Yen comes to realize that it might be better if he doesn’t know (for now). So maybe she doesn’t outright discourage him to look out for Jaskier, but… She certainly is not encouraging that idea. (it’s messy.)
There is part of Geralt that feels like. Jaskier will come back when he feels ready (he always did) and if he goes out to find him, he isn’t welcome. It doesn’t help that Jaskier is suddenly very hard to find. Geralt wants to respect his wish to not be found.
(little does he know).
And then there is also A LOT of plot happening.

I am an Administratum official who would like to clone myself, mainly because I’m too damn busy all the time, and I’d like your advice, Apothecary- is it advisable to divide responsibilities by giving my clone all the work I don’t want to do? Or try to divide things more or less evenly between us to avoid any resentment? Are there guidelines on vacation time and how to assign it?? I realize I am probably committing 18 different heresies by sending this, but I’m at my wits end.
Fabius leans back in his leather armchair, the chirurgeon folds obediently so as not to put too much pressure on his spine and latissimus. He reaches for his coffee mug and, with a flick of his wrist, orders one of the Servo Skulls to change the light slightly more into the yellow spectrum.
Then he dictates: "The fundamental misunderstanding here is that a clone does not inherently share the consciousness of the material from which it was created. You cannot expect to be able to recall all memories and abilities as a clone without special precautions - unless you are a Primarch. Which I don't want to rule out in view of your reference to an oppressive amount of administrative work - I can imagine that Guilliman doesn't really appreciate these activities, but keeps getting them imposed on him. However, since I know that no clone of the Lord of Macragge is currently on the loose, at least from my hand, I'll leave this possibility aside. Should you nevertheless be the Master of the Thirteenth - my sincerest condolences!
But back on topic. In any case, you can generally assume that you have to train and educate a clone just as you would any other employee. This should also answer your question about holidays, rest periods and workload distribution. A clone is a separate entity and should be treated accordingly. There are special cases. The aforementioned primarchs. Or me. But I take painstaking care to only exist once - may I never be in the embarrassment of having to split myself up!"
(Apparently that ask went to the wrong blog! But doesn't matter, I'll just reblog it with The Consortium!)
