Alright story time

I’m out walking with my mom today and we see this carpet dumped on the side of the road. She looks at me and starts going on about an instance this reminds her of.

Her and my dad had been driving in North Carolina years ago. It was an empty stretch of road. No lights, buildings, just them and the open road. They’re driving, and they notice this mass on the side of the road, half hidden in the shrubbery. But this isn’t ur usual dumping of trash. Something feels off about this. They debate for a little bit and back up so they can get a closer look. She said it was this huge white trash bag wrapped around something that Was Not Trash.

At this point I interject and joke that it was a body. She kinda looks at me and I go on to say that an empty stretch of road would be the perfect place to dump a body.

Apparently they thought it was smth worth looking into bc they ended up calling the cops to report it. They gave the location and drove away.

The next day my dad was considering driving out there to see if the weird trash bag was still there when my mom called him to the living room. Apparently on the news they were reporting how a dead body was found on the side of the road last night, and how somebody had called in a weird looking trash bag. She said it helped close a case I think.

TL;DR my parents found a dead body on the side of the road.
