Tumgik
#like ube. ube is so tasty
Ooh I hope you dont mind entertaining a quick ask- BUT if we are to say UB left for a long period of time and came back what would be their first words to the detective? Im not necessarily talking about just a few months away- neigh-...but what if the detective thought they WERE DEAD!? (aka Valka and Stoic style-).
Im a sucker for such soft angst ;-;
I’m going to ignore what I know of Book 3 because I’ve been sitting on this ask for so long trying to think of a good answer and I’ve written and deleted so many times.
My short answer is that I don’t think any of the ROs would agree to leaving the detective for long periods of time with zero contact like not even a phone. I really think this would be a deal breaker with the agency for them. I think they would all try to negotiate for at least phone contact, have the detective go with them, or they’re out.
That being said, it feels unfair to leave the ask at that and give you nothing SO I was thinking that it is tasty to think about how the RO would react to being away from the detective and the detective has gone silent.
A’s reaction to this has me flip flopping on what they would do but I think with their sense of duty they would like… power through whatever the task is to book it home to the detective and check in on what’s happening. They’d be very “we don’t need to sleep let’s act like it” to the team lol I think this has to be true especially if we’re talking deep, deep romance because while A worries they also know the detective is competent. Also they probably know how annoyed the detective would be if A returned over like a missed call as like a question of their competency lol
N would be insufferable I think and the rest of UB would want nothing to do with them lol I think N could be talked down to reach out to someone else in Wayhaven but I feel like more likely UB would be like “omg go home we got this” because N would be so worried and not in the right mindset. Similarly to A, I feel like when N shows back up early and the detective is totally fine they would be annoyed that N behaved that way over nothing (if that’s how your detective views N’s overprotectiveness)
F is the only one I can imagine having a normal reaction of “oh they’re just busy” and not go crazy. I’ve said it many times before and I’ll keep saying it, F is the only member that truly believes and stands by that the detective is so capable and isn’t in constant need of protection or rescuing and consistently shows that. They may worry, but they’ll never hover or take over. F would probably be like “okay now I’m scared” if it’s lots of unanswered messages and calls spanning a couple days. F is on good terms with Tina and Verda so they would reach out to them too. Actually with F’s faith in the detective and their abilities, it might be more likely F thinks the detective is upset with them and that would make them want to go home lol
M is a worrier too but they’re not as…. Overbearing about it. I feel like they’re at war with themselves of being like “the detective knows what they’re doing” but also like “what if I need to punch someone for them tho”. As it is, M does NOT do well being away from the detective like at all so they would be like triple amounts of grumpy if the detective isn’t responding. I think they would try to figure out if they said something stupid during smoke breaks (which they have to take if the detective isn’t with them) and maybe obsess between that and if something bad happened. I think it would wear down on them and they would just be like “you good?” to UB and if the answer was yes then they would just peace out. More likely upon their return they would be upset with the detective than the detective with them. Or if it’s a game of who is more upset then M would win lol This might actually cause their worry that they did something to upset the detective to become a reality because they’re not so good at saying the right thing in the moment if they’re upset lol

i hung out with snow and 2 of their friends for their bday (2 dozen anni celebration) and it was a lot of fun!
we got to the city around 3:15 and walked to ktown. we went to this bakery they all usually go to and they had so many tasty treats, i wanted to try them all! i got a strawberry bouchee & snow got us this strawberry refresher thats kind of carbonated but it was good! it had pieces of strawberries in it so it was cute. then we walked to kinokuniya which is this huge japanese store filled with books, magazines, manga, stationery, plushies, toys, collectables, &moreeee. it had 3 stories!!! there was soo much to look at & i def wanna go back!! i told the bestie about it & she wants to go! (i didnt realize how close it was to bryant park as well. like i totally wouldve went there last time i was in bryant park if i knewww.) we were in there for like an hr. i bought a spirited away japanese book & a cute pop up holiday card for myself bc i liked the art. i wanted a small spirited away book but they only had the big one and the book that shows miyazakis sketches. i feel like i shouldve just gotten that one, even tho it was more money..maybe on my next trip. afterwards, we went to muji, then the nintendo store. so snows friends are very much gamers. well, they allll are lol & theyre into kpop, conventions, etc so theyre quite diff from my friend group but they were very nice! & they were already talking about stuff like how i have to see their friends room bc she has cool things and how they’ll force me & snow to watch the live action.. demon slayer mugen train musical…lolll yes that. we then went backkk to ktown to eat at abiko curry, which is a spot they go to a lot. it was my first time trying it and omg it was sooo good, i ate it all. ive never had korean curry so i thought it was so cool that i could add a pork chop to it and it was crispy! it was so satisfying lol it was like our first real meal of the day at 8:30. im gonna be thinking about that curry for a whilee. afterwards, we were gonna go to this place called starbucks reserve, which is like a very fancy coffee shop/bar, but we realized we wouldnt have enough time so were saving it for some other time. we got gelato that was nearby and they had such cool flavors!! lychee, guava, plum.. i got a scoop of ube and thai iced tea and they went perfect together omg i want it again. i didnt know how thai iced tea gelato would taste but it tasted exactlyyy like the drink so it was so refreshing after our curry meal. after gelato we went back to the bakery to pick up things we wanted to take home with us. we didnt get on the train until 10:30 so we got home later than i thought & i was soso tired the next morning bc i had to wake up early but it was worth it lol. oh yeah! i forgot to mention but i gave snow their bday gift & card in the car so they opened the gift before we walked to the train station and !!! they loved it so much they criedddd D; it was sweet and also shocking and funny bc like!! i didnt mean to make you cry omggg loll for context, the gift was a framed drawing i made of inumaki from jujutsu kaisen and so they said thats its literally the best gift theyve ever gotten, mostly due to it being handmade and i was like WhaTttt no wayyy. the best gift youve ever gotten?!? they knew i was gonna draw something already bc they didnt want me to buy a gift & wanted something handmade like my art but ofc they didnt know what id draw & didnt really expect me to draw Him. they saved the card for our train ride home bc when they first opened it in the car & saw so many words they couldnt read it yet lol. when snow was on their way to my house they realized they forgot my gift (for my bday) and i was like MY Gift!!?! i really dont know what it could even be… it was fun spending time with them and i feel like its a nice change to hangout with a different friend group. idk like something about it feels fun and refreshing & just different. ofc it depends how comfortable i feel with everyone. but yeahhh, it was a good day & i got to try a lot of yummi foods
(my bracelet fell off and idk where it went:(( it could be somewhere in my room or my bfs room.. i dont believe it fell off at work.. or the shower..but i dont wanna think about thatD: it wasnt really a sentimental one i guess.. but it was like a good bracelet..& old.. &cute:( im hoping it shows uppppp!!!!)

A Wonderful Culinary Adventure in the Philippines: Exploring the Unforeseen Flavors of Filipino Foods
Discover the colorful and different gourmets of Filipino food, where flavors dance through the tongue and each dish narrates a different aspect of the nation's rich cultural past. Filipino cuisine, which ranges from tasty to sweet, is a culinary delight that captures the friendliness and kindness of the Filipino people.
Tumblr media
Lechon: The Culinary King of Filipino Celebrations
Lechon is one of my favorite Filipino dish because of its crispy skin known as  “chicharrón” and its tender. Growing up lechon is the dish I rarely ate because it is only cooked whenever there is a grand celebration, making it special. Lechon is more than just a meal - it’s a deeply connected through cultural ritual. In order to infuse every part of the pig with flavor, the preparation process include marinating it in a mixture of herbs, spices, and occasionally even lemongrass, the pig is roasted in a hot charcoal until the meat is tender. There is no grand celebration in the Philippines that is complete without a lechon taking the center.
Tumblr media
Adobo: The Heart of Filipino Cuisine
Adobo is one of my favorite Filipino dish, that made my childhood very special. A perfectly balanced blend of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and spices that makes up adobo, the unofficial national dish of the Philippines. The authentic technique of slow cooking, whether it involves pork, chicken, or a combination of the two which gives a savory masterpiece flavor that perfectly symbolize Filipino comfort cuisine.
Tumblr media
Bistek: The Filipino Steak Delight
One of the Filipino foods I grew up eating is bistek, which is also one of my all-time faves and comfort foods. The innovative and adaptable character of the Filipino people is symbolized by bistek. This dish, which combines soft beef slices, calamansi juice, soy sauce, and fragrant garlic, is considered a classic Filipino dish and the embodiment of home cooking in the country.
Tumblr media
Halo-Halo: The Cool Sweet Delight
Growing up, halo-halo has always been one of my favorite desserts. The true joy of halo-halo is found in desserts. This shaved ice masterpiece is a delicious blend of sweetened fruits, jellies, and beans, topped with leche flan and ube ice cream. The spirit of Filipino ingenuity in dessert making is symbolized by halo-halo.
Tumblr media
Taho: The Very Core of Sweets of Filipinos
One of my favorite sweets is taho, therefore ever since I was a small child, I have looked forward to seeing the vendor every morning. Taho is not only delicious, but it also holds a significant position in Filipino culture. Taho is more than simply a basic breakfast dish, it's a cultural treasure that symbolizes the closeness and warmth of Filipino life. As you savor every bite of this delectable symphony, keep in mind that taho is more than just food, it's flavor that speaks to the very core of the Filipino people.
Filipino food is seriously a gem, offering a mix of flavors that tells the story of the country's rich history. When you dive into Filipino cuisine, it's like unlocking a treasure chest filled with diverse and mouthwatering delights. From the comforting embrace of Adobo to the tasty sensation of Lechon and the exciting world of Sweets, every bite is a journey through the heart of Filipino culinary excellence. So, the next time you're in the Philippines or at a Filipino restaurant, get ready for a taste experience that'll leave a lasting impression on your taste buds!

Yummy Yucky Sweet Potato
So I got some free purple sweet potato offered earlier. (Yes, purple sweet potato, not ube or yam or whatnot) I thought it was going to be yummy, so I tried out one. Turns out it's hardly as sweet as I'd expected and also hsa some nasty bitter herb taste. We alters were so disgusted by its taste, but appearantly someone unknown and not talking to us having control over the body thinks otherwise. We're eating it pretty fast like we quite like it. I think the guy did listen to us on omitting some extra bitter bit, and we responded to the one who tried to tell us to have some more with no thanks. But I do not feel great about the taste at all. How did the body managed to eat it like it's tasty? And I feel/hear NOTHING about it's tasty? And I was pretty much... there???? So who really is the host/controlling over these body movements like berathing when sleeping???? Can we have more communications?????

A Flavorful Journey Awaits at Public Eatery in Robinsons Magnolia
After the success of the well-loved The Grid Food Market at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell, the Tasteless Food Group has embarked on another flavorful adventure, this time at the bustling Robinsons Magnolia mall in New Manila. Public Eatery brings together a wide variety of creative dishes and flavors from some of the country’s top chefs and restaurateurs to let its diners embark on this wonderful culinary ride.
You can find Public Eatery at the fourth floor of Robinsons Magnolia’s new wing. The Hungry Kat was invited to go aboard this gastronomic excursion to sample the amazing dishes being offered by these stalls and restaurants. The food hall itself is quite large, but you can take a look at the map near the entrance to get acquainted with all the lovely foodie choices you have to satisfy your cravings.
Public Eatery is where the neighborhood meets to gather over good food. Robinsons Magnolia's resident food hall is ready to take guests on various culinary adventures. It had been a while since I last visited this mall, so I had to find my way around the new wing to get to the fourth floor which is almost fully occupied by Public Eatery. The place is designed like a modern train station, with food stalls scattered along the hallways and dining areas.
You can choose to sit near the restaurants or by the huge glass windows overlooking the gardens below. The food hall is really spacious and can probably accommodate more than 200 diners at a time. There are currently over 16 food stalls and counting, with notable names such as Scout’s Honor and Bored & Hungry opening soon. This is not just your typical food hall because Public Eatery offers a much more elevated dining experience.
We were privileged to be one of the media partners to be given a special “train ticket” that lets us hop on and explore all of the restaurants inside Public Eatery. With all these options on our table, it took us several yummy visits to complete our flavorful journey and I’m here to let you in on the ride.
Let’s start with some of the featured beverages at the Public Eatery. FRNK is a Japanese Milk Bar that offers a variety of healthy artisanal milk drinks and plant-based options to choose from.
We got the Grape Sea Salt Milk (P165) which comes with a combination of fresh grapes, homemade sea salt milk caps, and basil drops. We paired this with their plant-based Nut Butter Brownies (P140) with dark chocolate and peanut butter for a tasty snack.
If you like coconuts, then you should go for the fresh, healthy and sustainable coconut drinks from Boo Koh. Our local coconut is the star in all their refreshing drinks that combine different flavors and sinkers that you can mix and match. We tried the Ube Coconut Milk (P205) with boba tapioca pearls and nata de coco. Other unique bookoh variants include the Coconut Pandan Gula Melaka Juice, Iced Coconut Vietnamese Coffee, Coconut Aloe Tea, and Coconut Lychee Passionfruit Juice.
Coffee lovers will definitely enjoy the offerings at Morse Coffee which is by the Making it Happen travel vlogger Mike Holaschke. The Flat White Tiramisu (P230) comes with a pair of lady fingers which is a great option any time of the day.
The Bev Bar offers a wide selection of refreshments including coffee, shakes, coolers, juices, yohgurt and even cocktails. Chef Patrick Go is an expert is creating drinks that go perfectly with different kinds of dishes so you will surely find one that suits your tastes. Some of the drinks we tried include The Bev Bar Scramble (P160), their take on the classic childhood beverage we loved to drink, while the Milo Crunch Dinosaur (P120) combines chocolate cereals with the Milo dinosaur drink. They also have healthy fruit teas like the Summer Peach (P115).
Now let’s try some of their appetizers! There’s so much space to explore at the Public Eatery so you will really get thirsty and hungry after walking around the food hall.
You can get freshly shucked Aklan oysters that can be cooked in a variety of ways at the Seafood Oyster Bar. We had the oysters baked in Miso Custard (P360 per 6 pcs.) and it was really fresh and delicious.
Dive into the healthy and vibrant flavors of Hawaii with these poke bowls from Ono Poke. Every bowl is an exploration of coasts and culture with the freshest ingredients and authentic sauces. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Crunch Bowl (P420) which comes with a colorful combination of aburi tuna, tempura flakes, nori, cabbage, green onion, cucumber, furikake, and spicy mayo.
Konbini Karaage is a Japanese-inspired snack bar offering juicy and mouthwatering chicken karaage for those on the go. Each order of Karaage (P189) comes with your choice of powder and sauces which include curry dip, hickory bbq dip. cheese dip. yuzu salt, cheese powder, shichimi togarashi, and others.
Samyan is where you can get your favorite Thai dishes and flavors. Their Crab Pad Thai (P720) is one of the best pad thai versions you can find in the city. This typical Thai street food comes with generous servings of crab meat on top of stir-fried rice noodles mixed with peanuts, scrambled egg, and bean sprouts.
The popular Bad Bird and its umami fried chicken also makes an appearance with its own version of the Fish & Chips (P450). This comes with a huge piece of deep-fried battered fish with fries and tartar sauce on the side.
Don’t forget to visit the stalls on this side which offers main courses that can satisfy even the hungriest of diners.
10 by Tsuke-Men has the Tonkotsu Premium Ramen (P440) which is a rich and hearty bowl of ramen. This has a savory pork chashu and tamago on top of its rich and flavorful pork bone broth.
On the other hand, Anyhow offers its international line-up of ihaw-ihaw where guests can make their own grilled sets. The first step is to choose your meat from pork belly, chicken, bangus, or salmon. Of course, I chose the US Beef Belly (P490) for my meat. I then had it grilled using American Hickory BBQ and served with Garlic Adobo Rice and Mushroom Sisig.
New York Cubao offers an interesting array of Filipino fusion dishes from celebrity chef Myke Sarthou. Chef Tatung, as he is fondly called, upgrades the typical Pinoy breakfast and lunch specialties into its Americanized versions. The Ribs Don’t Lie (P595) are tocino-style pork ribs served with garlic rice, two sunny-side up eggs, and atsara. It’s a peculiar mix of flavors and this is probably the first time we had encountered ribs cooked this way. You have to try it to really experience it.
More of our favorites are just around the corner. Thomson Road is a Singaporean-inspired restaurant from Alabang that offers claypot rice, jumbo shrimp siomai, hearty baos, and laksa.
My husband loves to eat claypot rice so he ordered the Butcher’s Claypot Rice (P380). This one has a sizzling combination of pork belly, chicken, and Chinese chorizo cooked in a rice casserole in seasoned claypot with signature rice crust.
My mother-in-law also joined us on the ride at Public Eatery one day. She wanted to try some of the featured Middle Eastern dishes at OK, Bob where you can enjoy your meals in a different way, especially with their hanging kebab dishes.
The Hanging Truffled Chicken Shish (P550) has tender chicken breast marinated in curry spiced yoghurt and served with Sumac salad, grilled tomato, green chili, and truffle sauce. It’s definitely a unique way of presenting this dish and this is always a popular choice among diners.
As for me, my favorite stall at The Grid Food Market and now here at Public Eatery is still LèChon by Chef Happy Ongpauco-Tiu. I really love their lechon specialties including porchetta, beef, chicken, tuna belly and even sisig so this is the first stall I visited when I arrived.
Chef Happy was present during the media launch of Public Eatery and everyone was excited to try their lechon dishes. The first step is to choose your lechon so I got the Lechon Angus Beef Belly (P525). I had it prepared with Tanglad Butter and served with Grilled Talong and baba ganoush plus Lèchon’s original butter rice. Lastly, I added adobo white sauce as my dip.
We then ended our journey with some artisanal ice cream from Merry Moo. We chose the Salted Caramel ice cream but they have other interesting flavors such as cheesy mamon, auro dark chocolate, Hizon’s mocha cake, and more. Public Eatery is an exciting new food concept that will really elevate the Quezon City and New Manila dining experience. You will never run out of excellent choices whenever you come here. See you again soon at Public Eatery in Robinsons Magnolia!

What does the ube taste like?
Ube versus Taro: What's the Distinction? These two purple tubers could appear to be something similar from the start, yet they're very unique.
What Is Ube? Ube is an energetic purple tuber most well known in the Philippines. At times called a purple yam, ube is a sweet, dull potato-like vegetable. What's more, however it is a vegetable, it's actual sweet and not unexpected used in pastries — like cheesecake or Filipino strengths like corona radiance or ube halaya. Ube is habitually pounded and integrated into prepared merchandise, and its boring nature permits it to be integrated into most players without any problem.
The flavor is sweet and nearly custardy; certain individuals portray the taste as being like cheesecake, vanilla pudding, or even white chocolate. The surface is really smooth and fleecy, considerably more smooth than a customary orange yam.
What does the ube taste like? As currently expressed, ube has a somewhat sweet flavor , albeit the force of the flavor might rely upon the size of the sweet potato and where it was developed.
It has a sort of hearty and nutty flavor , like vanilla or pistachio. Therefore, ube has turned into a most loved frozen yogurt flavor for its unpretentious wealth.
Finding entire ube can be troublesome on the off chance that you don't have an Asian supermarket close by. So requesting powdered or frozen ube separate functions admirably when no different choices are free to get the little tuber.
The most effective method to utilize ube in a recipe The ube has a heap of purposes in numerous desserts, which are all tasty. Make certain to attempt the most that you would be able!
ube frozen yogurt Maybe the ube's most well known application right presently is frozen yogurt . Their unpretentious flavors loan themselves well to this frozen tidbit. Furthermore, it turns your sweets a tasty purple.
Basically add powdered, frozen or squashed ube to the cream combination before the agitating system and you are headed to flavorful ube frozen yogurt.
Ube Halaya Ube halaya (essentially signifying "ube jam") is one of the more customary approaches to transforming ube into a treat.
As the name recommends, this ube shape is a kind of "jam," however it might appear to be more similar to a chilly pudding cake than the raspberry jelly you might be more acquainted with.
This Filipino sweet beginnings by adding beat ube and dense milk to a hot skillet with softened margarine.
After completely integrating every one of the three fixings, mix the combination until it has thickened. Subsequently, you need to cool it and refrigerate it prior to eating it.
Generally, the blend is presented with fixings like destroyed coconut, latík (which is a sort of caramelized coconut cream), and dense milk.
There are considerably more prospects, so go ahead and get imaginative. Ube halaya can likewise be utilized to supplement different pastries, for example, radiance corona, a sweet Filipino frozen yogurt.
ube treats There are numerous ways of utilizing the ube as treats. One of our top choices is a bend on an old work of art: firm treats.
Rather than utilizing cocoa powder or vanilla, choose ube powder to make a crease treat that is extraordinarily delightful, however purple as well . Who could do without purple treats?
ube hotcakes Like ube treats, adding ube to hotcakes is exceptionally simple.
Simply add the ube to the hotcake player like you would cranberries or cinnamon and presto! Presently you have a nutty, sweet, and in particular purple enhanced breakfast cake!
What Is Taro? Taro is an exceptionally flexible root vegetable most well known in Southeast Asia. It's an exceptionally enormous root and, when cooked, is extremely boring and marginally tacky. The inside is normally light purple or practically white; it comes up short on profound energetic violet variety that ube is known for, however it is still somewhat purple. The flavor is typically portrayed as extremely nutty and suggestive of vanilla. Taro is a lot nuttier and earthier than ube and doesn't have its delicate, custardy inside. Taro can be utilized in both sweet and appetizing dishes, from smooth air pocket tea to exquisite, chewy taro cakes you could find at your #1 faint aggregate café.
In sweet dishes, taro normally inclines toward the vanilla-y flavor profile and has a particular toasted marshmallow quality. Taro is a pervasive flavor choice in bubble tea, however the flavor is much of the time fake taro — dazzling purple, very sweet, and inclining vigorously on the counterfeit vanilla seasoning. Bubble tea with genuine taro has a lighter taste and somewhat of a chalkier surface; it's typically extremely light purple with a greater amount of taro's unique grittiness.
Ube versus Taro Sustenance Concerning calories, taro and ube are basically the same, with around 140 to 180 calories for every serving. Ube is higher in sugar and has loads of cell reinforcements. Since it has a low glycemic record, meaning the starches and sugars get used by your body gradually, it can likewise assist with directing glucose. The one with the purple thing is the Ube, it tastes damn sweet haha
Oh mine is the tall drink in the porcelain style cup, it’s also a cocktail haha
But yeah, the Ube tastes like a milkshake, honestly wish you were here so I can drunkenly talk your ass off something random like the drunk ass I am haha
oooh it looks tasty!
the ceramic-esque cups of the first 2 drinks look pretty...
yeah i'd sooo love this drink, but i'm not sure how to handle conversing with a drunk person that isn't my dad
(or even INCLUDING my dad, idk—)

Whatever you do DON'T imagine the "do you blame yourself?" audio as the detective thinking about dead Sanja. Seriously bro don't do it bro 👀👀😭😭
Tumblr media
I assume this is a tik tok thing so I looked it up lol
I would love nothing more for the detective than for them to have a very well deserved breakdown and to have nightmares or like hallucinations of themselves really laying on the angst and guilt. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I fully think the detective could think they’re a monster because of what they’ve caused to their town and those around them, regardless that little to none of it is something they can control.
It also makes me kind of sad that supernatural powers (sometimes) don’t work on the detective because how tasty would it be for there to be a situation similar to the Vecna stuff in Stranger Things (season four) and UB/the RO has to be a bystander.

Participation Power Skills Blog Post
I would consider myself somewhat of a beverage connoisseur, at least in the realm of coffee and tea. I have worked over three years in the industry and I have developed a knack for succesfully experimenting with different flavors. I very much enjoy going around and trying new coffee and tea shops to look for inspiration for my future coffee shop that I want to open.
This past week I tried a coffee shop named “Wall Writers,” in Irvine, and I absolutely loved it. The location of the shop is a bit odd. It is in the center of a corporate business complex, so it was definitely a little confusing to find at first. However, once you get over that hurdle you come to find that the space that they occupy lends itself really well to the overall atmosphere of the shop. The outdoor seating is massive and there are even some swinging benches for customers to enjoy. Both the interior and exterior of the building is well decorated with murals and lined with art pieces that contribute to its vibrant energy. The indoor seating area was almost equal in size to the outdoor seating and just as well furnished.
Right when you walk through the door you are greeted by very friendly and helpful baristas. My friend and I asked for recommendations. We ended up trying the ube matcha latte, the pandan matcha latte, and the pandan latte (made with espresso). My favorite of the three would most likely be the pandan matcha latte because I think that the sweet earthy coconut flavor of the pandan mixed really well with the smooth bitterness of the matcha. The other two lattes were also quite tasty, but I do wish that the ube matcha was ever so slightly more ube flavor forward.
As a whole, I would rate this coffee shop a 10/10 and will definitely be going back to try more things.

Went for refreshing drink after meal, and I had tasty ube(taro) boba tea at kawaii @nekoteahouse.oc 🥤 Nice cozy atmosphere and drink was really good. My matcha buddy got dessert as promotion deal too. There was no real cat inside, but I thought I felt spirit of cute little kitty or just my imagination since it was so comfy like cat cafe😇🐱🍀 (at Neko Tea House) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce0Xyp-vPhP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

• Oahu Food Journey 2022 - YogurStory 🥞🍳 // Originally back in 2020, I was planning on staying for a month or so in Oahu - not only to network and meet with more models/businesses, but also to stop by all the aesthetic and delicious Oahu food places that kept popping up on my feed - after not being in Oahu since 2019, I finally got the chance to visit some of them in 2022, and these next series of posts will be my Oahu foodie adventures 🍽 // It's no secret that even before the world changed in 2020, I (like many others) frequented @yogurstory as a local favorite in Oahu 🍓🍠 friends and family alike would rave about this place, and it's since made its mark as a must-visit everytime I stop by Honolulu. I got some Ube Pancakes and the "BAE" Eggs Benedict as my usual go-to, but if you want something incredibly aesthetic and tasty, I recommend the "Red Carpet" Velvet Waffles and the Strawberry Shortcake pancakes, they were SOOO mouthwatering and worth the wait 🥞🧇🍴 - - - - - #yogurstory #ubepancakes #breakfastfood #breakfastfoodie #eatingfortheinsta #hawaiieats #oahueats #yelphawaii #foodpic #aestheticbreakfast (at Yogur Story) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cexwe0Yvd-Y/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
