the hacking minigame looks like a mild puzzle. On the right are the Letter/number combos for various options, and when you click on them in the left panel the highlighted rectangle moves around. Seems easy enough.

One complaint I’ve heard is that character movement seems limited in the sense that you can’t go up and down the environments, use the walls/roof to sneak around enemies etc. I don’t know how true that statement is so I’m taking it with a grain of salt, but given the more vertical nature of the game world it seems like there would be more complex physical paths for the character to take, rather than one railroaded pathway, at least in some areas.

Brigitte says this looking at the Thing-We-Called-Black-Despite-It-Being-Very-Red Wall, so either no one who has breached the wall has returned, or something else. After this she says “She will be the first”, and the wall pulses. Who “She” is, not sure.

one thing i noticed is that anytime someone gets punched in the face theres a big spray of blood mist, which seems excessive for blunt force trauma but it’s cool enough that i don’t really mind it. also placide betrays you somehow but it’s cyberpunk, i expect to be double-crossed literally every 10 minutes

Another example of a Streetkid background making you have an affinity with the gang? Also Mr Mosley fucked brigitte up somehow. Some options are yellow and some are blue, which i assume means something - blue meaning a line of questioning and yellow being an action perhaps?

when you plug your hdmi cable into mr dadbod’s noodle it shows you all/some of the netwatch agents in night city, and then you get your fucking shit rebooted because as previously stated, plugging your port into strange slots gives you the cyber-clap. I assume this is the “set up” V fell for. I don’t know what happens if you side with the netwatch agent - presumably the Voodoo boys will hate you, or he will give you another way to reach Brigette, or its one of those fake choices and this happens anyway but with slightly different dialogue. 

I’m not sure if NetWatch represents the “Corpo” line of this quest, or if they are a separate entity. As it stands it seems V either throws their hat in with the establishment or runs with gangs, but who knows, maybe you pull a new vegas and can go it alone, NetWatch and Voodoo boys be damned.

You meet Brigette and see the Red-but-Black wall after fighting the Animals, but the editing makes it a bit disjointed. Convo goes like this:

V: You must be Brigitte. Hard woman to find

B: You have something for me

V: You know about the backup, don’t you?

So theres a lil somethin somethin

you wake up 8 hours later after hard rebooting your ass or something. I think the netwatch dude died. Johnny and his perpetually lit e-cig is there, and he also kind of stands in the background and talks about the characters. I don’t think they can see him, so I hope to god we get at least one funny interaction where we talk to our invisible keanu reeves while people look on, seeing a madman talking to himself, and wonder what we took and were to get it

why would u do this to me, just asking. hiro would start crying and Wouldnt stop. like ever. and im copy & pasting my response from the sessnara ask   sesshoumaru would freeze and go very quiet. he would be panicking but he would also be mourning already. like. steeling himself for what is to come. doesnt talk to anyone for days and barely sleeps

..im assuming this is like. a “they’re about to die” context. they dont need to say anyhting, they understand each other. they’re holding hands or hugging but not kissing. hiro needs to be able to see sessh’s face and he needs to know sessh knows how much he loves him. sessh is trying to memorize everything about hiro so that when he’s reincarnated/in the afterlife he’ll be able to find hiro again
