#like it’s such a tired trope imho to focus on the kids of superheroes

Straight up, season 1 of Jupiter’s Legacy shouldve all been about Sheldon in the 1920s. Because the flashback scenes are the scenes i find most compelling.
Like, it wouldve made for such a more interesting season??? To just focus on him in the 20s instead of his kids now?? A man who has a great life going for him, suddenly surrounded by tragedy, starting with the market crash/his dad’s death, and then the death just keeps following him as he thinks he’s losing his mind and he’s trying to solve the mystery of his seizure-inducing visions of the windmill and the island and his dead father???
And the season culminates in him finally finding the island, and then season 2 could go from there, with the Union establishing itself and the societal upheaval that follows the sudden introduction of superhumans, and THEN later seasons can jump forward to Sheldon’s kids. That wouldve been so much more interesting, imho
