Neighborhood Dilf (Joel Miller x Reader)
Word count: 2.7K
Summary: joel finds out he has a nickname and he asks you what it means
Tags: pre-outbreak this is a happy fic guys!! I didn’t specify a year but let’s put it at 2000 for funsies so sarah is like 11 and joel is like 30ish. also fluff, humor, flirting, age gap, goofy plot (I don’t know what this is honestly), joel being the definition of a dilf and not knowing it, crushes, overall cuteness. also suburbia
A/N: I saw a tiktok where someone said they just knew joel was the neighborhood dilf and they were so real for that I had to write it. and no I don’t care that the word was popularized online we’re using it here. I’m here to provide a cute fluffy fanfic not a historically accurate one lol. also sorry if your name is bee, I tried to come up with a name for the friend that was a nickname so if it was someone’s actual name they could just imagine their full name (I overthink)

The loud music coming from outside woke you up from your afternoon nap. After spending a semester at college struggling to find even an hour of sleep, you were taking as many of those as possible. You were a little grouchy at first as you threw your covers off and stormed to your window, but quickly calmed down when you realized it was the annual block party your neighborhood hosted during the summer.
You’d gotten an in-person invite from Bee, another girl home from college who you’d been friends with in high school before going your separate ways. You still kept in touch since she was nice enough, which is how you found out her family was hosting this year. She’d confided in you personally that she would quote “go crazy if it was all kids and old people.”
As you looked out into their front yard, which was diagonal to yours, you saw that’s pretty much all it was. Since you were such a good friend, you decided that you’d go.
You were getting dressed (at a leisurely pace) when your phone started to ring. You picked it up from your desk after you pulled your pink sundress on and flipped it open. The caller ID read Bee’s name and you answered, ready to tell her you were on your way.
“He’s here,” she said, sounding mistified, before you could even open your mouth.
“Who?” you wondered, furrowing your brows a little to yourself as you went to the window.
“The neighborhood dilf,” Bee replied under her breath.
The nickname made you laugh. It reminded you of high school. It had started as a joke, something you had started calling the new guy who’d moved into the neighborhood with his daughter a few years back. Later you found out his name was Joel Miller, but the nickname spread like wildfire to all the other girls in the neighborhood and it just stuck.
Everyone knew about it; the girls of course, their confused parents, jealous boys who thought Joel was stealing their attention—the only person who wasn't aware of the moniker (as far as you knew) was Joel. Well, you hoped his daughter didn’t know either. Thankfully, after time, everyone forgot that you had started it. It was a bit embarrassing.
You walked away from the window to your closet and slid on your flip flops—it was summer in Texas, after all.
“You need to get over here, Y/N—what?” the last word sounded distant from the phone. “Yeah, she’s supposed to be on her way,” Bee replied, but to someone else.
“Um, hello?” you asked, waiting.
Bee was quiet for a few seconds, then whisper shouted into the phone, “you’ll never guess what just happened!”
“Let me guess, Joel just walked up and professed his love for you,” you teased, laughing at your own joke. “What, were my parents asking for me or something?” you guessed for real that time, recalling the small bit you had heard her say.
“Unfortunately no, and also no,” she sounded a little too disappointed about the first part, which made you chuckle again. “He did just ask me about you though.”
“Who?”
“The dilf.”
“Just use his name,” you told her with a roll of your eyes, heading out of your room to the stairs. “Wait.” You stopped for a second. “Joel asked about me?”
“Yeah. I changed my mind, you’re not invited.”  If it wasn’t for her obvious sarcasm you might’ve thought she was serious. “He heard me say your name and asked if you’d be here soon. I—hey!” she yelled, causing you to pull the phone from your ear for a second. You continued your descent down the stairs as she yelled something about ‘kids’ and ‘stay out of there’. “I gotta go,” she said suddenly, then hung up.
You just shook your head with a small, amused smile and left your phone on the counter. Stupid dress and no pockets.
You headed out the front door and walked across the street towards the party.
It was in full swing. Music, games, food table—it looked like something out of a magazine. The Grants had a huge front yard—it was one of the nicer houses in the neighborhood—and it seemed like everyone was there. There were kids running around, adults all mingling—some sitting at the fold out tables, others walking around, others chasing their kids—there was also a group of dads surrounding the grill. You glanced that way and didn’t see Joel. You wondered where he was and if you should find him, but Bee found you first.
“The kids aren’t supposed to go inside alone and two of those little jerks went into my room,” Bee complained right away, straightening out her white blouse over her jean shorts. Her pinned back brown hair was a little messy, though. You wondered what happened, which she quickly answered. “I saw them jumping on my bed through the window.”
“Sounds like fun,” you commented sarcastically. Bee looped her arm through yours.
“My dad set up ring toss and it’s all little kids, I don’t wanna be the only adult playing. Come on.” She dragged you along in that direction and you willingly went with.
You saw a few kids from the neighborhood playing, mostly the preteens who were too old for hopscotch but whose parents had told them they weren't old enough for the mini golf (one of the boys had overshared that little comment).
“Y/N!” a girl's voice called. You looked that way and saw Sarah Miller walking towards you. A few days out of the week when her dad was working late, you’d go over to their house and keep an eye on her (before you left for college). It was the easiest babysitting gig you ever had; she was polite, always did her school work, and hardly caused any problems. Her dad had raised her very well.
She looked older than you remembered her being, but you had been gone for both fall and spring semesters—well, you had been home for winter break briefly, but not enough to see anyone other than your parents.
“Sarah, hi!” you greeted, accepting the hug she offered when she got close. “How are you?”
“Good!” she said with a smile. “Are you guys gonna play with us?” she asked you and Bee. “I keep beating them and it’s not fun anymore.”
You and Bee both laughed at that. “Sure, why not.”
“It feels weird playing with her after talking about how hot her dad is,” Bee whispered in your ear when Sarah went first. “You think he’ll come over here?”
“And what would you do if he did?” you challenged while hiding a chuckle, raising your brows at her.
“Um, probably nothing,” she admitted, cheeks a little pink. “He’s fun to look at though.”
You hummed. “You’re not wrong.”
The two of you played a few rounds of ring toss, although Bee got very bored quickly. “Can we go get some drinks?” she asked after not that long of playing.
“Sure,” you decided. You waved bye to Sarah and the others as the two of you walked off towards the cooler.
Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed some of the other girls in the neighborhood that hadn’t been in attendance before. For a couple that you knew, it didn’t seem like their scene.
“What are they doing here?” you asked Bee.
“I may or may not have also told them the neighborhood dilf was here. They, uh, wanted to… see him,” she answered, avoiding eye contact.
You raised your brows in slight disbelief. “Are you serious?”
“I wanted more people our age here,” Bee defended. “I wasn’t sure if you were even gonna show.”
You scoffed out a laugh. “You’re ridiculous,” you told her.
You reached the cooler and knelt down. You handed Bee a water, but she didn’t accept it. You looked up at her.
“Keep an eye out for the dilf, I haven’t seen him in a while. I’ll be right back,” Bee told you, taking off before you could say anything. You guessed the bathroom given her speed walking inside.
You laughed a little to yourself as you stood back up. You kept the water for yourself. You looked out amongst the crowd, realizing you were now on your own while everyone was in groups. You saw a couple people you were friends with and thought of maybe going up and joining them, but someone else spotted you first.
Joel Miller, the aforementioned neighborhood dilf, was walking towards you. Bee would be jealous, especially if she knew you and Joel were actually friends.
You had thought about telling Bee and some of the other girls that you were friends with Joel, given how much they just loved to gossip about him (how he was still single, how he looked really good in his pajamas getting the mail, that one time he took his shirt off while mowing the lawn—that was a big day) but then you thought better of it, not wanting to be run out of town by a jealous mob.
You were already getting glances by the time Joel stopped by your side so maybe your humbleness was pointless.
“Saw you all alone, thought I’d come keep you company,” Joel broke the ice with ease.
How long had he been watching you? The thought made your cheeks feel warm.
“Wow, what a gentleman,” you teased lightly, causing Joel to chuckle.
“I try,” he joked back, shooting you a small wink.
When you had first met Joel you were nervous around him. It was much easier to talk to him now that the two of you had become friends rather than acquaintances. He was an easy guy to get along with and you found yourself genuinely enjoying his company rather than just gawking at him in his yard from your window (like you used to do in high school). Your crush hadn’t disappeared though, so you joked around with him as a way to keep things casual and avoid getting in your own head.
“Sarah told me you were finally here, she was happy to see you,” Joel mentioned with a light smile.
That made you smile back. “She’s a sweet kid,” you told him. “I was happy to see her too.”
You fiddled with the water bottle in your hand as you spoke, trying to unscrew the cap. The stupid thing was stuck and after a few seconds you gave up.
Joel gave you an amused look, glancing between your face and hands. “You want help with that?”
“Yes, please,” you handed it to him. “There you go again, proving chivalry isn’t dead. Thank you.”
Joel unscrewed the cap with ease and handed it back. “Happy to be at your service.”
“So, you guys been here a while?” you asked, sparking up conversation.
“Not too long, only an hour or so. It’s been fun though,” Joel explained. “More for Sarah than for me,” he admitted, glancing around to find his daughter. He spotted her and she waved, then continued playing with her friends.
“Why’s that?” you wondered, looking up at him just as he looked down at you.
“Just… I mean, everyone is nice and all,” he started. “But I just feel like I got nothin’ to talk about with them, y’know? Except you.”
“Really?” You tried to not sound too thrown off by that, but you didn’t know he felt like that. It was interesting to say the least.
“Is that such a surprise?” he wondered, raising an eyebrow curiously.
You shrugged. “Maybe a little. I get it though, I haven’t really talked to anyone other than Bee yet.”
“I don’t know if you’re friends with them, but I saw a bunch of girls your age walking around,” Joel said as a suggestion.
“Nah, I’d rather just talk to you,” you said casually, before you could even think about what you had said. The look on Joel’s face changed a little, like he was trying to bite back a bigger smile.
“Well, that’s nice to hear,” he said after a moment. Your eyes met his and the way he looked at you made your heart skip a beat. You had to look away to be able to breathe, almost certain you were reading into things. You really, really did not want to be disappointed.
“Hey, can I ask you something?” Joel said, making you realize you hadn’t spoken yet.
“Sure, yeah.”
“You know… young person lingo, don't you?”
You laughed at the awkward wording. If it had been any of the other adults here using the word “lingo” you would’ve cringed, but there was something cute about the way Joel said it. You tried to snap that thought out of your head.
“Mostly, yeah,” you replied with a little chuckle paired with a curious tone. “What’s up?”
“Do you know what a dilf is?” he asked bluntly. That alone told you he had no idea.
You were so stunned, all you could think to say was, “why?”
“Well, those girls I mentioned… I overhead some of them calling me that,” he explained, his eyebrows furrowing a little. “It’s not bad, is it?”
Was this karma coming back to you for starting the nickname? It wouldn’t have surprised you.
“It’s not bad, no,” you assured while also avoiding the main question.
“What is it then?” Joel’s interest was piqued now and while you couldn’t blame him, you also couldn’t think of a way to make this not weird.
“It’s an acronym,” you started. Joel watched you intently, waiting for an explanation. “It means dad I’d like to…” you trailed off, hinting at him the word to fill in the blank.
Joel just looked even more confused. “To what?”
Somehow he made cluelessness incredibly attractive.
Screw it, you thought. This was already weird. Rip the bandaid off, right? “Fuck,” you finished before you could think better of it.
“Oh,” he stated. You knew it took a second for realization to hit. “Oh. So that means they, um,”
“It’s basically like saying you’re hot,” you explained, filling in when he couldn’t. You hoped he wouldn’t find it insulting or anything like that.
Joel looked a little bashful but found amusement in the situation nonetheless. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
“You should,” you suggested, then sipped your water. You looked out at the people milling about rather than meeting his gaze.
“Do you think I’m one?”
You nearly choked on your water. “What?”
“Sorry,” Joel apologized quickly, trying to laugh it off. “I shouldn't've asked that.”
“It’s alright,” you assured him. You paused for a minute, contemplating what you might say to that. You got a rush of bravery. “If you’re asking if I think you’re attractive… the answer is yes.”
Joel couldn’t hold back his smile. He tried, but it was a failed effort. It was like he was trying to contain his anticipation. “What about if I wanted to ask you out? What would your answer be then?”
“Yes.”
Joel grinned. “I was hoping you’d say that,” he admitted.
“Dad!” Sarah’s voice caused the two of you to look away from one another. You saw her running up to you guys and hoped she hadn’t heard a word of your conversation. “Can you come play with me? Mr. Grant just set up a bean bag toss!”
“Sure, kiddo,” he told her. She grabbed his hand and started to drag him away.
You smiled a little to yourself at the interaction—he was such a good dad.
Joel slowed her down a little bit to look back at you. “I’ll call you later, okay?”
“Sounds good,” you replied, chuckling lightly.
The Millers disappeared into the roaming people. You tried to follow them with your gaze but your attention got torn away.
“Waiting in a line for the bathroom in my own house is messed up,” Bee said, popping out seemingly out of nowhere. “What’s got you so happy?” she wondered, eyeing the smile on your face that couldn’t be erased.
“You won’t believe what just happened,” you replied. A part of you still couldn’t believe it. “I’ve got a date with the neighborhood dilf.”

I've had a consistent thought in my head of the girls learning more about the upside down.
Like they know a bit: uncle Dustin still lives in Hawkins doing research on something, they've seen their dads and they know about the scars and their disabilities. They know something happened to their entire family and they know there was an earthquake that wasn't really an earthquake. But they've never learned more than that and they'll never know the details as long as Steve and Eddie have a say.
But at some point, each of them realizes that the monster hunter jokes that their dads make aren't really jokes.
In general, I think Steve and Eddie’s sentiment surrounding how they address the not-so-pleasant aspects of their past with their daughters is that they won’t lie (because that’ll only come back to bite them in the ass later), but they’re also only going to tell them as much of the truth as they literally need to.
Not that Moe knows any of this.
All Moe really knows is that her dads went through some scary-ass shit when they were her age and they don’t really talk about it.
Still, Moe has eyes. Maybe she didn’t realize it when she was little, but even just the sheer amount of scar tissue her dads have isn’t exactly normal. When she asks where they got them, though, all they ever say is that a monster tried to eat them.
Moe also knows that the reason Pop doesn’t usually join them on shopping trips at the mall is because they can trigger bad migraines, and she knows the reason he gets migraines in the first place is that he’d taken too many hits to the head in too short a time, but when she asks how he’d gotten a concussion and then a TBI and then two more concussions in the span of four years he always just says something like picked a fight with the wrong Russian spy, or something like that.
And it’s public knowledge that Dad was accused of murder when he was in high school and nearly died before the charges got dropped, but when she asks about what happened, he gives her some spiel about curses and demons and portals to alternate dimensions and monsters (again, with the monsters).
They’re kidding, Moe knows. They’re giving obviously fake answers because…well, for a lot of reasons, she can imagine– not wanting to relive whatever actually happened, not wanting to put their own trauma onto Moe and her sisters.
Honestly, Moe doesn’t really even bother asking about it anymore because they clearly don’t want to talk about it, and if it really was that bad, she can’t even blame them. Besides, she’s pretty sure that dads are supposed to be total mysteries to their kids, so…whatever.
The story of what happened in Hawkins, Indiana starts to gain some public attention again while Moe is in high school – one of those true crime conspiracy theory-type stories people make Reddit threads and YouTube videos about, and apparently (because Moe has no interest, but Robbie likes that kind of stuff) Dad almost always comes up in them, Pop sometimes.
Around that time is when Moe’s dads start to get all kinds of media requests – not that Pop had any idea. He’s basically chronically offline, so no one is really able to track him down other than finding his work email on Psychology Today, but he’s got filters set up to send that shit to spam so he doesn’t even have to see it. Dad, on the other hand, is (supposedly) well-known for his books or whatever, so he doesn’t have the same kind of anonymity. He got all sorts of calls and emails from people wanting his first-hand account, but he always refused to participate, told them to lose his number and never contact him or his family ever again.
That’s the kind of thing that really rattled Pop – Moe didn’t like that. He’s kind of an immovable object in that way, so seeing him rattled just seemed wrong.
They’d even needed to threaten legal action against one online tabloid who just wouldn’t leave them alone – not that Moe is supposed to know about that, but she’d eavesdropped on a phone call between her dads and Uncle Dustin, who seems to exist as a central point in it all even if Moe doesn’t know why (maybe it has something to do with how her dads always complaining about how he still works for that lab, whatever that means).
“Are you ever gonna tell us what really happened?” Moe asks one day, when it’s just her and Pop in the car on their way home from a basketball tournament in Connecticut.
He sighed, not taking his eyes off the road.
“Hon, can I ask you to stop and consider that maybe we have been?”
And for her dad’s sake, she does, she makes herself run through the mental log of all the lore or whatever she’s unlocked over the years.
Monsters, Russian spies, superpowers, demon-animals, curses, portals to alternate realities, government corruption, evil scientists.
Bullshit, she’d always thought, but…her dad had never bullshitted her before. Why would he choose to start with this?
Moe looked back at him, some kind of question on the tip of her tongue even though she had no idea what to ask, and this time, Pop spared a glance back.
“I’m not telling you everything,” he warned her as he looked back at the highway stretching out endlessly ahead of them, and Moe tried to keep any signs of disappointment off her face, “But I’ll tell you some.”

As you packed the last of your belongings into your parents' 2008 Toyota, excitement was the last thing you were feeling. When speaking about college, most people explained this coming of age experience with phrases like “change”, “hard work”, and “no sleep”. These pessimistic descriptions made the big move that much harder. Unlike your friends from high school, you were crossing multiple states to attend your dream school. You would’ve been stuck in your home state too if it wasn’t for your impressive art portfolio which earned you a full-ride. Art school is where you know you’re meant to be, but the anxiety of doing it alone lingered.
Of course you were happy to be escaping the grapples of your small Republican town, but you couldn’t help but wonder if 1,500+ miles would really be the solution to all your problems.
                                          ★,。・:*:・゚☆。・:*:・゚★
“God where is she??” you grunt to yourself. The brown swivel chair provided as dorm furniture was your only source of entertainment. You spun around in circles, checking your phone every few minutes. You were anticipating a text from Ellie Williams. Through the cracked screen your phone read 11:03pm and the notification wall was empty.
Ellie is supposed to be your roommate. The two of you had met through the university's online roommate matching system. Your interactions were limited to the few texts sent back and forth about move-in times and who’s bringing what. Ellie was supposed to show up 5 hours ago to move in her stuff but she never arrived. You consider messaging her to check-in but Ellie’s previous texts wreaked of un-interest so you thought it best to leave her alone. You knew nothing about the girl, or even what she looked like, but with her stand-offish demeanor and your overthinking, a friendship didn’t seem in the cards.
Another half-hour passes before the sound of keys rattling pulls you out of your trance. Realizing you’re about to be face-to-face with your new college roommate, you snap up from your slouched position and push your hair behind your ears in preparation.
The slender door lazily swings open and your gaze quickly shifts to the faux wood floors. There was a sense of hesitancy, like you weren’t ready to see your fate just yet. A pair of dirty, black converse covered in writing sulk into your line of sight, triggering you to look up. As you did, your eyes were met with the most jaw-droppingly beautiful girl you’ve ever seen. Peeking through her messy auburn locks were piercing jade green eyes and an angular nose scattered with freckles.
It was Ellie Williams, and she was the epitome of “cool girl". Your head spun with all kinds of thoughts as your physical body went idle. You sat before Ellie gawking until she broke the awkward silence that had gone unnoticed by you.
“Uh, hi… I’m sorry for coming in so late… some stuff came up. But uh, I’m Ellie Williams.” She held her right hand out towards you to shake it. It took you a second, but you snapped out of her spell and quickly shook her hand in return.
“Shit- Ellie, hey, it’s uh, nice to finally meet you.” You stumbled through your words as nerves overpowered your usual confidence.  There was an obvious awkward tension between the two of you. A typical feeling when moving in with a complete stranger.
Silence loomed in the air as Ellie took a stationary tour around the small, 12 x 20 ft. dorm. She surveyed your side of the room, taking note of any items that could hint towards who you are as a person. Her eyes stopped on a band poster you had hung up just hours ago.
“You listen to Sleater-Kinney?” she inquired.
“Hell yeah, they’re one of my favorite bands. Honestly anything in the riot grrrl music scene is right up my alley. Do you listen?” you replied with more enthusiasm and less nerves than before.
“Yeah, yeah I do,” Ellie answered nonchalantly. You took note of her answer realizing what it could mean. Sleater-Kinney was like the gayest band ever, and Ellie definitely knew that. Maybe she just likes them for their music, but it's possible she also found the lyrics laced with sapphic pining to be relatable. Selfishly, you were dying to know her sexual orientation. Ellie seemed like too much of a stranger to ask her outright and so the game of reading between the lines began. Little did you know, Ellie was wondering the exact same thing about you.
It was getting late and Ellie decided to save unpacking for the morning when she wasn’t so tired. You climbed onto your stiff dorm mattress and fluffed your pillows for sleep. Ellie did the same in her bed.
“Is it cool if I turn out the lights now?” you asked, still navigating the new social dynamic as roommates. Ellie replied with a gentle hum and you hit the switch turning the room pitch black. As you lay in bed all you can think of is Ellie and the future. You didn’t know what it was, but you knew she was special, and you yearned to understand her. With these thoughts in mind, your eyes slowly begin to droop and you slip into a deep slumber.
The next thing you know Ellie is sitting at the foot of your bed staring straight into your soul. Her beautiful green eyes felt especially intense as the rest of her face was shadowed from the dark room.
“Ellie- I-” you could barely get out 2 words as you sat up from bed flustered. You felt like prey and she was the hunter… and you liked it. Ellie slowly inched her way toward you, crawling on hands and knees. She didn’t have to say anything, you knew what she wanted.
Your plush thighs sat between her knees and her crotch hovered over yours, heat being exchanged. You wanted her so bad. You needed her. Ellie took your chin in her hand and pulled you in close. You exchanged breaths as her lips brushed up against yours. She couldn’t wait any longer and pressed her face into yours, capturing your lips which she so longingly desired for. You fell back onto your pillows and she followed intently.
Her body lay pressed against yours and she desperately shoved her wet tongue into your supple mouth. It was ravenous and you wanted more. You knew she did too as you began to feel the rotation of her hips digging into your pelvis. The heavy breaths coming from her swollen lips were in sync with the fervent grinding. You bucked your hips towards her in a frenzy. Ellie took her veiny hand and ran it along your waistband. As she began to slip it into your pants... you woke up to discover your own hands cupping the heat below and Ellie nowhere to be found.
“What the fuck.” is all you could say. You pulled your hand from your pants and stared at the slick spider-webbing between your fingers. God this was humiliating. You climbed out of bed to wash your hands and glanced at the clock. It was 7:15am and Ellie was already gone. That seemed kinda odd for a 19 year old college student. You wondered where she had disappeared to so early in the morning.
Soon, the over-thinker took over and you began to grapple with the possibility that you said something out loud during your naughty wet dream. What if Ellie heard you? God what if you moaned her name?? What would you even say if she brought it up? Before you could formulate a hypothetical response, Ellie walked right through the door.
“AHh-” you yelped, startled by her presence. Ellie backed into the doorway holding a coffee in each hand.
“God, sorry, you scared me.” you explained. Ellie shuffled back inside, twiddling her thumbs trying to decide what to say.
“Sorry, I just left to grab some coffee early this morning. I couldn’t sleep.” She continued, “I brought you one too. As an apology, for any trouble I might have caused by showing up at almost midnight to move in…”. Your cheeks flushed with color and you hoped she didn’t notice.
“Oh, thanks Ellie, that's nice. I promise there was no harm done.” you answered, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible. Seemingly enough, this news meant she was awake while you were, ya know... dreaming. Ellie definitely wouldn’t bring a pervert coffee though. Right? Either way, you knew one thing for sure, you've got to have her.

My Hype Boy
(A/N: Got this idea off Youtube again and I said why not mix it up a bit Yohohoho)
Tumblr media
.
.
You exhaled heavily as the autumn breeze past you by. Your highschool days were closing to an end and you couldn't remember any good memories that you made in school. You know that after high school, everything will be on your own and it will be your decision on what to do with your life. Honestly speaking, you wanted to at least work after your high school days inorder to help your single mother.
Your mother wasn't a single mother before but your father died when you were young because of his heart disease. You didn't really remember his features or any memory he has with you as the only proff you can have is photos of him along with your mother.
Well lately, your mother has been meeting a guy whom she's having fun with. You weren't gonna stop your mother have fun since shr deserve nothing but happiness after what she went through in life. You haven't seen the man but hearing stories from your mother, the dude sounded like a good guy.
You sighed and just brushed those thoughts away as today was the last day of school for the week meaning you have time for yourself. That sweet update from your game was what your aim this week was. You worked hard to review for this week quizzes and you feel like you actually did great so why not relieve yourself and embrace the pleasure of gaming.
You were infront of your door as you opened it and called out your mother.
"Eomma I'm home-"
"Y/N! Good timing. I want you to meet your step father."
Your eyes immediately looked around and sure enough, there was a man beside your mother who had plastered a kind smile. He wore glasses and in your opinion, he looked like a business man which you presume his career is connected to an entrepreneur. Your gaze then shifted to the small girl who was peaking behind her. Her gaze at you looked like a scared cat as this made you nervous for some odd reason.
"Y/N, this is Doyoung. He's gonna be your new step father."
He offered you a handshake which you complied by. But your eyes immediately shifted towards the girl behind her. Something about her made you self conscience of yourself. Your step father must have seen your gaze as he smiled softly and introduced her shy daughter.
"Ah, She's Kim Minji. She's my daughter. She's a shy girl but she can't speak."
This made you confused. Your eyebrows furrowed a bit as Minji slowly hid herself behind her father once again. Seeing your confused face made your mother chuckled a bit as she was the one who explained to you.
"She's suffering from aphasia Y/N."
"Ah I see..."
"I know she's preety but you gotta understand her condition got it?"
Your mother's stern voice only made you sigh as you nod your head. After a few greetings here and there, You finally made your way to your room and turned your PC on. Your phone buzzed and you were already aware that your friends are waiting for you so you hopped on to the game and saw them all online. Being the typical gamers they are, they began to tell you how you suck at the game when in reality, your KDA average was at 15-4-9. It wasn't at pro level but it was enough to carry your teammates aka your friends through ranked games.
Being able to enjoy the time you have playing games made the time move faster. For 30 minutes that you feel like playing, but in reality, time has moved 2 hours from when you started playing. The orange sky has turned off and everything outside of your window has turned dark as the clouds dissappeared and was replaced with twinkling stars.
A sudden tap on your shoulder startled you as you jumped out of your seat. Your hearted raced to the max as you looked behind you and you saw a frightened Minji shivering in fear. You immediately removed your headset and tried to calm the girl down.
"I-It's okay Minji. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm sorry."
We weren't really sure on what to do but if there was one thing that you learned in school is that you should be a gentle speaker to someone who's quiet or someone who is anxious. Minji was showing both signs and you had hoped you have calmed her down and it did helped her for a bit. You noticed how she stopped shivering yet her eyes still showed worry. You then noticed how she was holding a plate of food and this immediately got you the idea why Minji came to your room.
"Ah, Sorry I couldn't go down for dinner. Did you make this?"
She slowly nodded her head as you smiled brightly at her. You were thankful that she made you dinner but you also felt a little bad that a stranger made you your food. You were a person who always pay your debt and right now, you were indebt to Kim Minji.
"Thank You Minji. I appriciate it. Ummm.. I know it's weird for me to ask this but do you have something in mind that you like? Like food?"
Minji gulped as she gave you an anxious stare. You weren't able to read what she was saying because she can't really speak. She then placed your plate on your table as she pointed at your PC Screen. She looked down embarrassed and held the cloth of her pajamas tightly. You were no idiot as you immediately got the hint of what she wants.
"Ah, you wanna play the video game?"
She nodded her head slowly.
"Sure. Do you want me to teach you as well?"
She looked up at you rather quickly as her eyes widen in surprised. For the first time since earlier, the anxious look she showed dissappeared and were no longer visible in her face. Instead, excitement and joy showed on her face. She did a small hop from her joy which you couldn't help but chuckle at her cuteness. You left your seat to which Minji slowly occupied it. She looked around your PC and was amazed on how your keyboards were flashing color rainbow lights, add in some figurine on the side which added some aesthethic flavor on your setup.
"So do you have any background of the game Minji?"
She slowly nodded her head which caught you by surprise. The game was for all obviously but it was rare for you to see a girl take interests on such game considering how toxic the game chat can be sometimes. Your shock suddenly turned to worry as you quickly muted the chat along with voice chat as you didn't want Minji to get exposed by the toxic words that can be labeled as a the world's biggest crime sentence known to humanity.
You watched from behind as Minji plays your character and mind you, your character is no easy task. They say that your character you choose was only used by the professional players especially in the esport tournament because of how complicated it is to master it. Even with your 6 months of using the character, you still haven't really realized how to properly use this character properly.
But as 5 minutes of speedrun gameplay, you just witness a pro level user use your champion as if it was nothing. The combos Minji unleashed were all so on point and was so effective against the rival team and the supposed 20 to 30 minute gameplay just ended in 15 minutes with Minji having a KDA of 15/0/6. Zero death and the MVP of the game. You were silenced by her gameplay as Minji removed the headset and looked at with her preety eyes.
"Oh my god... That was so amazing!!"
You exclaimed as Minji's eyes widen seeing you jump from joy. You were all smile as you clapped your hands congratulating her for her splendid performance. But instead of seeing a smile from her, she only looked anxious and scared as this confused you. She suddenly stood up and sprinted out of your room leaving you perplexed and filling your thoughts with so many questions. That happiness that you felt immediately died and was replaced with worry.
"Did I do something wrong?"
.
.
.
.
.
"You definitely did something wrong."
Your friend Soobin said in a matter of fact tone. You groaned as you laid your head at your table. Soobin was one of your friends in school and an introvert unlike you and Yeonjun who were extroverted. You realized that Minji must be an introvert after meeting her so you decided to ask for help with another introvert and that's where Choi Soobin comes to play.
"Why? What did I do wrong?"
"Hmmmm. Well for starters she isn’t close with you yet. Either that or she's not used to compliments or such."
The last part of his essay got you intrigue. You couldn't understand why she wouldn't be used to compliments when she herself looked like a girl who's always complimented by her father or even her friends.
"I didn't know there was such thing."
"Well now you know. But who's she anyway?"
Soobin's question got you sweating profoundly out of nowhere. Soobin wasn't an easy opponent when it comes to lying. His sharp eyes and good skill on observing people is what makes it difficult to find excuses to dodge him. You weren't just gonna simply say that you have a new sister living under your roof as this will make things more difficult for you as it is with her.
"An…old friend of mine."
You tried to cover your unsure answer with confidence on your voice. This skill was developed when your were in your first year as you made unsure reasons to your mother to play video games instead of learning and it worked somehow. This skill of yours was something that Soobin wasn't aware as of the moment as he just shrugged his shoulder.
"Ah, that explains it."
You silently sigh a relief knowing that Soobin took the bait for now.
"Wait, one reason could be that she was bullied before and she lost that sense of trust or something like that."
Now that was a wild and interesting take. Pondering about for a while, that reason could make such sense considering she has a disability.
"It must have been tough for her."
Your heart soften imagining how Minji must have felt being bullied because she can't talk nor speak out her thoughts. This somehow angered you as you clenched your fist in anger. The thought of Minji getting hurt didn't sit well with you as Soobin noticed the burning flare on your eyes.
"Calm down Y/N. You look like you're about to kill someone."
"Ah, Sorry."
Soobin's words snapped you back to reality as you exhaled a deep breath. There was no point of you getting angry at this moment as you weren't even sure if she was being bullied from the start. In fact you barely know anything about Minji at all. The only information you have with her is that she's a good LooL player. That's it. Not even her contacts was in your phone.
"I'm such a terrible brother to her."
You sighed but you turned your attention to apologizing to the girl after school. The first thing that entered your mind is offering her a bunch of food. Mainly some snacks and some chocolates for her. Maybe you can add in a few drinks as well.
"Hmm.. Should I buy some drink? But what does she like? Hmmm..."
Once the school bell rang indicating the end of school, Yeonjun and Soobin stood up together as their eyes signal one another. They have plans today to hangout in Soobin's place as they turned their attention toward you. But instead of finding you smiling towards them, your seat was empty and they caught a glimpse of you leaving the class in hurried manner. Yeonjun found it strange as he was about to rush towards you when Soobin stopped him.
"Hey, Yah, Soobin. Why are you stopping me?"
"Just let him be. He must be helping his mother at her shop today."
Soobin knew that was far from the truth yet he had hoped that was enough reason for Yeonjun to believe in.
"Ah, is that so?"
"Yeah."
"Oh well. Guess it's just the idiot duo again."
"Don't add me into that."
.
.
.
.
Making your way at the local store, you contemplated on what flavor of filled bread you were gonna choose.
"Hmm? Will Minji like chocolate filled bread or will she like the strawberry one? Hmmm..."
You could only sigh as this was quite a troublesome problem for you. But then you realized something that could solve your problem.
"Why do I have to choose 1 when I can choose both? God I'm such a genius."
You chuckled to yourself and placed the 2 bread unto your grocery basket and went to the drinks section. Upon arriving, your eyes wandered seeing there was a lot of variation of drinks that you can choose ranging from water to juice and the like. But your main focus isn't some water or factory ready juice. No, your focus was the milk flavored section. Choosing between Strawberry and Mango, you grabbed both since you like mango and strawberry as well.
You thought that you have enough money to pay for your stuff, you were surprised by how much the foods cost as you couldn't believe how it exceeded your allowance. Worst part of all this is, is that you forgot your wallet back at home and your pocket money is only for 26175.00 won. the total food cost was 35678.00 won which was more than your pocket money. You had no choice but to remove what wasn't necessary as you choose the strawberry filled bread and Mango milk drink. This was a giant bet as you weren't sure what Minji really liked.
You left the store feeling a little dissapointed by yourself but nonetheless, you were still determined to apologized to Minji. You began to start the trail towards your home but a sudden though made you visit your mother's stall and saw her working alone. Your mother had own a small chicken stall near the neighborhood of your home as this small stall was the reason why you are attending school in the first place. You smiled entering the shop and greeted your mother with a happy demeanor as you hugged her warmly.
"Hey Mom."
"Oh. Y/n. How's school for you dear?"
"Preety boring. Nothing new."
"Really? Well have you had dinner yet?"
"Not yet."
"Why don't you sit down and I'll cook you some chicken wings."
"You don't have to Mom. I'm still full from the little snack I ate earlier."
You pulled away from her as your mother chuckled at your behavior. You then placed the food on of the store's table as you began to help your mother sweep the floor or even clean some tables. This was your task everytime you visit her stall as this was the least you can do to lessen her work load.
"Ah, By the way Mom."
"Hmm?"
"About Minji. I actually have no knowledge about her and I feel scared that I may fuck up my actions towards her."
It was a question that you really need an answer for and no one is better than to ask than your own Mother. She sighed a bit as she closed the cash register and looked at you.
"Doyoung told me that Minji suffered Aphasia due to bullying. She was seven years old when her school bully pushed her on a river and her head got hit on a rock. The doctors told him that Minji was lucky to survive the fall and hit on her head but it did cause her to lose her voice. Since then, Minji has been home schooled her life keeping her away from the harsh reality of schools."
That immediately saddened you as your shoulders slumped down and your facial expression showed nothing but sadness and pity. Minji wasn't just a shy girl, she was a traumatized girl that couldn't properly let go of her painful past. You finally realized what you did wrong towards her as she wasn't used to being complimented by other people beside her father. This also add that she must have been traumatized of people cheering for her thinking they were behind her when in fact, they couldn't care less about her.
Minji was just all to stunned to take everything that you did for her as she wasn't used in that situation at all. You sighed heavily as you smacked your head realizing how much of an idiot you were towards her.
"I'm so stupid! Damn it."
You cursed yourself for this kind of behavior but this also added more motivation towards asking for forgiveness towards her. So after a few minutes of fixing and cleaning up the place, your mother has closed the shop and both of you walked home. Upon arriving, you immediately went towards the supposed room of Minji. Your heart was beating fast and this made you feel anxious as hell. Sweats began to form on your forehead and hands as the nervousness began to take over your body. You took one deep breath and you mentally prepared yourself for what you will face.
You knocked on her door 3 times and called out her name.
"Minji, are you there? I.. I just wanna apologize to you."
There was a few seconds of silence and just when you were about to knock the second time, you heard the door click open as Minji peaked through door staring at you. You gulped as you realized how scared Minji is towards you. You mentally slapped yourself for being an insensitive prick towards a girl who's so afraid of the world around her. With a deep breath you bowed towards her in a complete 90° angle bow showing how sorry you were.
"I'm so sorry for acting so irrational towards you Minji. I didn't know that I scared you with my actions and I sincerely apologize towards you. I failed as a big brother and I would understand if you ignore me or even hate me because I deserve all of it. I didn't consider your feelings and that was a big problem from me. I have learned my lesson and I hope I can still be a good big brother towards you."
You were glad that you didn't stutter with your words as you hoped that Minji would get your point. But you were also afraid that you could have said too much for the girl. The silence that the atmosphere carried was so heavy that you couldn't help but look for a bit and you were suprised to see Minji crying while staring at you.
"Oh shit! Oh no, oh no. Oh no, oh no. What do I fucking do????"
You were completely scared as to why Minji suddenly started crying infront of you as you quickly fixed your posture and tried to think of the solution you could possibly do. But to your surprised, Minji wiped her tears and pulled out a pen and paper as she began writing on it and she showed you what she wrote.
"It's not my fault why you're crying? Then umm.. Why.. Did you suddenly cry?"
She began to write again then showed you after she was finished.
"I was just touched by what you did Oppa. No one has been this kind to me other than my father"
You wanted to cry as well seeing how harsh the world was towards Minji. She was such an innocent soul yet the world hated her for being such an angel. It was this day you swore to protect and help Minji get past her trauma of people and nothing will stop you from protecting her no matter what.
"Ah by the way Minji, I bought you snacks you might like."
You gave her the strawberry filled bread and the milk flavored drink as Minji squealed in delight. She jumped a little as she hugged you suddenly which caught you by suprised. Minji hugged you so tightly and felt the sincerity in her hug. You stroked the hair of Minji and chuckled happily.

TIMESKIP: 6 MONTHS
.
.
6 months have passed by and Minji has finally decided to enter a school near your own school where you attended. It was surely a suprised especially your step-father considering how much he didn't want her daughter to experience bullying anymore. But one part of him also wanted her daughter to have a normal student life outside of her own room and her decision was possible because of you as well.
During the months of you and Minji hanging out in the house, you would tell stories to Minji about your daily school life and the good times you did while being a student. Of course you removed some parts that could potentially trigger her trauma as you were very careful with your words. You would sometimes cut off your sentence and change the subject immediately especially when you realize that the words that will come out of your mind may make Minji uncomfortable.
Soobin and Yeonjun also found it weird how you were going home more earlier now than before but Soobin being the best wing man you have, would often tell him of the same excuse over and over again and Yeonjun would fall for it all over again and again.
All though your step father was against it at first, you helped Minji explain to him the importance of Minji attending school at least once in her youth especially since she's a teenager. It took sometime of convincing and a lot of Minji crying but your stepfather agreed to enroll Minji for one semester only. Even though it wasn't that long, Minji rejoiced as she hopped around with her tiny jumps and gave her father a warm hug.
Everything was going well for Minji for her first 2 weeks as she was all smiles and would tell you stories of her school experience in her notebook. But what really made you happy for her was when she told you of her friend Pham Hanni. She was also a transfer student from a different country and Hanni guided her through out the school. You could still see how happy she was when she told you about her first friend but that happiness could only last for a few seconds.
Minji has suddenly been going home lately and it also didn't help that you mother and step father has been into arguments a lot lately due to some financial issues regarding your step father's business. Of course you find it annoying how loud they could be but you feel more bad towards Minji as you have learned that she wasn't fond of arguments and fighting.
Things took a big dip as Minji was once again late to go home as you had enough of this and decided to check out her school and on what's she's been up to. As the final bell was rang, you picked up your bag and immediately left class which Yeonjun and Soobin was used by now as they just shrugged their shoulder at you. The walk towards her school wouldn't be much time consuming as it was just at best a 10 to 7 minute walk or if your sprinting, it would only take 2 minutes. Knowing that Minji's dismissal time was 30 minutes ahead of you, you were sure that Minji would be still in school so you arrived at their school gate looking for her. All the students eyes were on you as they didn't expect another student to enter their campus that easily.
Walking up the stairs of her classroom, you entered it and saw that Minji was nowhere to be found but there was a few students that was still in the room that could tell you where Minji is. Particular, you saw a bunny looking girl who was staring at you intently.
"Excuse me but have you seen Kim Minji?"
"Minji? She went out earlier with that jerk Haesul. Well technically speaking, him and his circle called Minji out."
Furious, anger, murder, genocide. All of this emotion was rilled up into you as your fist turn into a ball and your eyes showed fire in em. The girl felt scared at your murderous face as you asked her where they could be.
"T-They could be at the back side of the school near the trash area..."
You noticed how scared the girl looked at you as you sighed and calmed your nerves down. Minji was in danger but there was no reason for you to be angry at someone who has no affiliate with the assholes.
"I'm sorry for scaring you. But what's your Name?"
"Pham.. Pham Hanni."
"Pham Hanni? Ah! The girl that Minji told me all about. Thank you for being her friend."
You sincerely bowed at the girl who was shocked by you sincerely as she just waved her hand off at you.
"It's okay Oppa. I should be the one apologizing for not doing anything to stop those jerks from approaching Minji. I'm so sorry."
You could only chuckle at the girl and smile at her. You know very well that Hanni was also a shy girl like Minji so having a confrontation would also be too much for her.
"It's alright Hanni. You don't have to worry about it. I'll take care of this problem."
You smiled and left the classroom looking for Minji as your eyes darted everywhere observing and noticing the small details of their school.
"For a middle school class, this sure looks prestigious. How come there's bullying here?"
That was your thought until you finally saw Minji being cornered by 5 guys. Your blood boiled immediately as your animalistic instinct kicked in.
"Come on Kim Minji, if you don't answer me then we're dating."
Haesul said as his friends cheer him on. He was basically taking her disability to his advantage as Minji was scared for her life. Her knees were shivering and her heart was beating so fast. She could feel her head spinning from the amount of stress she was facing and her vision was slowly doubling.
"Hey since you're quiet, that means we're dating right? Right? Then I should kiss you to seal the deal right?"
His friends started to cheer him on as this only made her more anxious than before. Her trauma began to climb back up her mind as Haesul smirked and was inching himself closer to her. He didn't leave any space for Minji to breath as Minji closed her eyes as she screamed out the name in her mind the person she wanted to see.
"Y/N OPPA!!!!"
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
"Oi, what do you think your doing to my sister?"
You pushed the face of Haesul off Minji immediately and pushed him away giving them space which Minji was so glad to have. She opened her eyes and there she saw a familiar back. The back that she adored so much and the back that will always protect her. She began to sob silently as her tears began to slowly descend her cheeks.
"Hey, who do you think you are?"
Haesul asked as he looked you up and down which you didn't back away from. In your mind, they were in a teenage phase where they think they can take on anyone. You also have to be careful considering you were a high schooler and not a middle school student unlike them.
"Her brother obviously, now back off."
You tried your best to intimidate them yet they didn't falter. They only laughed at you finding it amusing that her brother was defending her.
"Listen pal, me and Minji are a thing. And you're-"
"Who?"
This made Haesul scoffed as he didn't expect you to cut him off so easily. His patience was slowly dying down.
"Me, Haesu-"
"Asked."
You once again cut him off and this time, he didn't take it lightly as he punched your face in annoyance. Minji widen her eyes in pure horror as she watches her precious brother eat a punch to his face. You wanted to retaliate immediately after that punch but you held back as fighting a middle schooler would be an embarrassment for you. You fell unto the floor but stood up and even smirked at him.
"That all you got kid?"
"You bastard-"
.
.
SMACK
.
.
"Kids I tell yah, they think their inferior or something sometimes."
Yeonjun spoke making you look behind you and seeing Him and Soobin standing together. Yeonjun's drink was splashed into Haseul's head and it's remains was slowly walking down his face.
"Yeonjun, Soobin? What are you two doing here?"
Soobin sighed and pointed at Yeonjun.
"This bastard wanted to see you so we followed you and here we are."
You were grateful for their rescue as this was an opportunity for you to take Minji out of this mess. You grabbed her hand and both of you began to walk away as you said
"Can you two give them the old Special? They messed someone important to me."
Soobin sighed while Yeonjun smiled like a maniac.
"Suuure~"
"Alright, I won't let that slide anyway."
Both Yeonjun and Soobin said respectively as you gave them a nod while pulling and holding the hand of Minji. You wanted to get the clear picture of what's really going on. Minji can clearly see how mad you are as this made her feel bad for herself. She stopped walking which also made you stop on your tracks. You looked back and saw Minji crying softly as this broke your heart. You hated seeing Minji cry or sad as you let go of her hand.
"Minji I... I'm sorry. I didn't know you were being bullied and-"
Minji didn't let you continue as she suddenly hugged you tightly as she cried her heart out. You didn't know why she was crying this much but you just relate it back to her being bullied. But in reality, she felt so sorry for you because you had to save her and you even got punched back. She hated herself for what happened earlier but she was also grateful for saving her back then. Her heart was beating so fast and she was so flustered being this close to you but she didn't care. All that mattered for her right now is that she was in your arms comforting her.

TIMESKIP: 3 MONTHS
.
.
Ever since that accident, Minji has changed rather weirdly towards you. Everytime you would arrive home, she would hug you tightly and wouldn't let go for a minute. She has also been very clingy towards you either it be playing video games, eating your food or even reading a book. She would either give you a back hug which she will stay for a long time or she would hug your arm and watch you play your video game or sleep on your shoulder.
You don't mind Minji being clingy towards you but you just find it weird how she's acting towards you. Especially sometimes she would sneak into your bed and snuggle with you. You find this action very weird but you just let her as everytime you would push her away, she would only cling to you tighter. It was a losing game if you fight her off so you just let her be and sleep.
Although your relationship with Minji was great, your parents wasn't. Their arguments has become more often which lead to Minji leaving the table and sleeping at your room and clinging towards you. You could only sigh at them and their argument has finally come to a close when the two decided to have a divorce. Upon hearing this, you were sadden because the reason why they were arguing was something they can't control.
Apperently, your stepfather was setup to marry a woman he doesn't even love due to his business. He tried to fight for his love towards your mother but in the end, he lose the battle. He apologized to you and your mother sincerely as he admitted that your mother will always have a place in her heart. It was heartbreaking especially Minji who cried all night not leaving her room at all. You tried your best to convince her but to no vail. It also didn't help that after announcing their divorce, they were to leave the household the next day.
The dreadful day finally came as Minji finally came out of her room looking tired and lifeless. She moved towards her father's car with no motivation as all you can do was watch from afar. You clenched your fist as this was now or never. You have to say your goodbye to her.
"Hey, Kim Minji."
Calling her out made her finally look at you as you tried your best not to feel sad for her. With a deep breath you said
"I'll never forget you Minji. I'm sure we'll see each other again. For now, this is goodbye but someday this goodbye will turn to hello and we would be smiling to each other again."
You assured Minji that you two will see each other again and the possibility of having a reunion is always possible. Your warm smile radiated so much as Minji will surely miss it. Minji smiled back knowing this was the last time you'll be seeing her smile warmly at you.

TIMESKIP: 5 YEARS LATER

"Fuck this. I can't even finish this one subject."
You sighed as you and your 2 college buddies wore a boring and exhausted face as the test earlier really drained your energy.
"That test is straight up bullshit. How can He give questions that are not even taught to us? Like how? What the hell?"
Felix, your first friend said as you nodded your head.
"Yeah shit mate, tell me about it ey. Being dumb and unattractive is a painful combination to have. I mean look at us mate, we're dumb and no girlfriend."
Christopher Chan, your second friend said as you scoffed at his comment. Sure you had your few runs on some blind dates but it all ended in vain as nobody was able to click your interest. Not only that, but the subjects you were taking in university had taken a huge toll on your time.
"But I did hear a new student in campus is beautiful as fuck. Some are even saying she's sculpted by the gods."
Felix explain the rumor that was going through around the campus lately. Of course you were caught by this rumor as you would be lying if you say that you weren't interested in such topic. Chan just scoffed and said
"Ain’t no way Mate. That's just a rumor ey. If that is true then I'm betting my Straykids Photocard right now."
Felix smirked and nodded his head.
"Alright, I'll bet my Izone Chaewon photocard for that."
"Oooh it's on mate-"
The two shook hand behind you as they glared one another as if they were ready to go to war at each other. You on the other hand was lost in your thoughts as a sudden memory of Minji appeared on your head. There was no moment where you can't forgot about the time you and Minji spent together. There would be times where you would ask yourself if Minji was alright and doing well. It's been 5 years since you last saw each other and there was no form of communication between you two. There was fear within yourself that Minji must have forgotten about you considering it wasn't even a year since you two met and made memories.
"I wonder what's Minji doing now. She would probably be in college right now as well."
You could only sigh as you continued to walk leaving your two friends arguing with each other. You enjoyed the silence of the campus as the soft breeze pass by the threes. It's cute whistle was good music in your opinion-
"Y/N Oppa?"
You turned your head towards the voice was and you widen your eyes. You stood frozen to your feet as a girl stared at you. Something about her seems so familiar yet you couldn't pin point it.
"M-Minji? I-Is that you?"
Upon hearing your voice. Minji smiled brightly and dashed towards you hugging you tightly. The familiar feeling of comfort and sweetnes returned to you as memories flashed through your mind. Minji was back in your arms and was able to-
"Wait Minji, you can talk now?"
Minji pulled away from you as her smile never disappeared from her face. She nodded her head vigorously indicating that your assumption is correct.
"Yes, My Dad found a really good doctor in America and with enough therapy, I got my voice back."
"That’s... That's awesome! Your-mmhpjh?"
Minji placed a finger on your mouth telling you to shut it as she giggled and removed it. Seeing Minji again for so long made you see how beautiful she really was.
"Oppa. Do you have a girlfriend?"
"What? What do you mea-"
"No, actually I don't care if you have one or even if it's a 3D woman. I'm gonna steal you from her."
Now that was a bold statement coming from her.
"Wait Minji. Did your personality changed too?"
"Hmm? Nope. I love you Oppa. Be my boyfriend."
"Wait what?"
You were stunned to speak yet Minji smiled happily and to add more suprise, She kissed your cheeks leaving you a blushing mess. She could only giggle at your red tomato head and flustered face.
"Since we're no longer Step siblings. I'm legally allowed to marry you. And for the record, I actually fell in love with you when you saved me from those bullies before.”
Her smile never disappeared yet you were to perplexed to say anything. You also found it very weird how your heart was racing to the max and Minji was now looking more prettier than before. When you finally got your senses back, the first words that came out of your mouth was
“You like me?”
She giggled and nodded her head.
“Shall I prove it?”
Minji closed the gap between you and her as she grabbed your cheeks and pulled you down to her level and kissed your forehead. Butterflies and fireworks was all over your body as you felt explosions everywhere. Minji has changed as the shy cute girl was gone and infront of you was a more mature beautiful version of Minji.
“Let's go Oppa. Help me around Campus will yah? hehehe~"
Without even saying a thing, Minji hooked her arm around yours and pulled you away from your spot. You were taking everything in but if there was thing on your head, it was that.....
"Minji likes me? And I think.....I like her too...”

Tumblr media
Part 4: Valentine's Day Special “For the love of God, do something!” You screamed desperately into the microphone of your headphones.
You were playing a match of League of Legends with your online friends. Your fingers moved quickly on the keyboard, your eyes didn’t take off of the screen, and the offenses of your friends bombed your ears. You were playing as Qiyana, sometimes you missed playing with Kayn as Zed.
"This was so winnable, and you fucked it up, man!" You exclaimed in frustration as you saw the “Defeat” sign flash on your screen.
Winter break was about to end. It's been six months since Kayn asked you to be his girlfriend. Once he graduated from high school, he signed a contract with Riot Records to become a star alongside Heartsteel. You hadn't seen him in over two months, but he always made sure to send you gifts so you wouldn't miss him so much. His gifts ranged from official Heartsteel merchandise to video games and jewelry. Your favorite gift so far was one of his silver earrings so you could match despite not being physically together.
“Nah, but how good is this Qiyana?” Your friend matched your energy, to which your other friends laughed. You wanted to keep a serious posture, but you couldn't.
"Hey, where’s Rhaast?" Your friend with his favorite waifu on his profile picture asked.
"I don't know, he hasn't reached out in a while," you lied.
You knew exactly where he was. He was in another country preparing for his last concert of his world tour with Heartsteel. After he graduated, Kayn quickly adapted to the rock star life. Spending all day writing music, meeting fans and traveling to many places with his guitar. He always sent you photos of the places he visited, the new foods he tried, and the talented people he worked with. Every day, he promised you that he would show you the world once you graduated from high school.
You had a good relationship where you were in constant communication, there was just one small problem. Your relationship was a secret. When Kayn signed his contract with Riot Records to become a star, his manager found out that he had a girlfriend. He only asked him to keep the relationship as private as possible. If he was going to be part of a boy band, the group's popularity might decrease if fans found out that a girl is the owner of his heart.
Kayn thought you would be upset with him for wanting to keep the relationship a secret, but he was surprised to find that you had no problem doing so. As an introvert, you don't like to be the center of attention. If everyone knew that you were a celebrity's girlfriend, you would lose your privacy and not feel comfortable.
Keeping the relationship private was the best for both, although it took Kayn longer to adjust to the idea. When he went on his first tour, he called you every night to remind you how much he loved you and missed you. He often told you how much he missed your hugs, kisses, and caresses. You missed him too, but it wasn't such a drastic change because you were already used to spending your nights alone playing video games or watching live streams.
You heard the sound that announced that you had received a message via Discord, and you didn't hesitate to see what it was about. It was nothing more and nobody less than Kayn. He had sent you a selfie of him with Ezreal before going on stage. He had taken it before giving his phone to his personal assistant to keep while he got busy.
“Is your girlfriend going to watch the show?” Ezreal asked him as he stretched backstage.
The loud music, the screams of the excited fans and the Heartsteel’s team running back and forth to make sure everything was okay. Kayn warmed up his muscles before going on stage. It was the last concert of the tour, and he didn’t want to ruin it. He was nervous, not as nervous as at his first concert, where he almost peed himself. Kayn still remembers that day when he saw his beautiful girlfriend in the audience for a split second and almost lost his balance. He wasn't as nervous as that time, but his hands didn't stop sweating.
“Yes, I sent him the ticket code,” Kayn answered, visibly excited.
The alarm on your phone went off. The legend “Heartsteel Concert ” shined on the screen in white letters. You smiled at the phone and closed the League tab to search the page where the event will be broadcast live.
"Hey, I'm leaving," you notified your friends as you reopened the Discord to leave the call.
“Where are you going? It's barely 7 PM,” your friend asked, confused.
You had gotten them used to the fact that you could play with them until 1 in the morning. Plus, they knew you didn't have many friends other than Rhaast and some classmates from your music class. After your confession was a success, the music class teacher asked you to help your classmates often, forcing you to make some friends.
“I'm going to watch Heartsteel’s concert,” you answered.
"Don’t tell me you're one of those crazy Heartbeats," he mocked.
“Yesterday I saw that some Heartbeats attacked another one who had gotten tickets to the last show,” another member of the group commented.
The fandom of Heartsteel grew rapidly every day. The larger the community, the percentage of aggressive fans increases. You saw every day on Twitter how the Heartbeats were fighting with other fandoms, especially with the K/DA fans. The amount of +18 fan art you had seen of your boyfriend fucking Ezreal was surprising. Although you saved a couple to bother him later.
“Well, their music is addictive,” you answered with part of the truth. “But anyway, the concert is almost starting. Bye,” and with that, you left the call.
You typed in the code Kayn had sent you so you could access the livestream. While it started, you went to the kitchen to make yourself some popcorn and grabbed your favorite chips from the pantry. You pulled a blanket off your bed and got comfortable in your chair as the screen announced the countdown.
When the timer reached zero, Paranoia's extended intro began to play. The audience screamed and applauded with excitement that the concert would finally begin after a day full of expectations. Yellow and purple lights flashed on the stage. The main screen showed the music video they had recorded for that song, while the side screens showed the spectacular entrance of the members. Yone and Aphelios were at the mixing console, they looked so focused on doing their job. Then Kayn came in, rapping the first verse.
Two sides to the story, but they never tell my side.
You kicked your feet in your seat when you saw him. He looked as cool as ever. Her pink hair with purple tips swayed against the air. He held the microphone in such a way that he could easily maneuver the change of hand. His navy blue leather jacket gleamed against the light, his crop top hugged his pecs perfectly, and the pants were as tight as they needed to highlight his figure.
"Kayn looks good!" You squealed with excitement without taking your eyes off the screen.
The concert went off normally. Ezreal singing his heart out, K'Sante interacting with fans and Sett rhyming with Kayn. You ate, sang and screamed from the comfort of your room. Kayn would sometimes fix her hair in front of the broadcast camera to proudly show off the earring you shared. You couldn't help but touch the earring in your ear proudly with a smile on your face.
It was the show’s halftime, where the band answered some questions to interact with the audience and let their bodies rest for a couple of minutes. They showed the livestream chat on the main screen behind Yone and Aphelios so they could read what the fans were saying.
“Say hello to our beautiful chat!” Ezreal asked the fans in the auditorium. The fans screamed and raised their lightsticks to the sky. You rushed to write something nice in the chat so that it would appear in the broadcast.
You: Hello! Kayn looks as handsome as ever!
Kayn quickly recognized your user among the hundreds of comments that cascaded across the screen. His cheeks flushed red, and he smiled widely at the compliment. That day he had asked the stylists to fix him as best as possible because he wanted to impress you. The effort was noticeable.
“How about we answer some questions from the chat?” Sett offered.
“That seems fine to me. EzrealLover69 asks: Who would you dedicated this concert to?” Yone announced the question, while Aphelios played a song that sounded like something that would reproduce in TV quiz shows.
“I want to dedicate this concert to my mom. Hello mom, I'm on television!” Sett responded as he waved at one of the cameras. The fans were touched.
“I want to dedicate it to Ernest, our pup,” K'Sante answered as they posted a photo of the beautiful Doberman they had adopted last month. The fans were crazy about the boys' cute comments.
"What about you, Kayn? Who do you want to dedicate this concert to?” Ezreal asked him, since it was his turn to answer.
“This tour has been very important for me because I always loved music and wanted it to be part of my life,” Kayn began while looking at the livestream camera. He paused briefly for the fans to get excited by his response. “I want to dedicate this concert to my haters. This is for those who didn't believe in me, bitches,” he said while flipping off the camera.
“I didn't expect anything less from him,” you thought as you shook your head. The members of Heartsteel laughed at the comment, while the audience went crazy because of his savageness. Kayn was drunk with the praise from his fandom. He felt good in his cloud 9, and no one could bring him down from there.
“Although I also want to dedicate it to someone very important to me… This concert is for my girlfriend,”
You choked on the popcorn you were eating. The band and the audience remained silent before the unexpected comment. A collective “what?!" resounded through the auditorium. Kayn was so comfortable in his cloud that he didn't even realize the mistake he made.
“My girlfriends! All of you! Heartbeats are my girlfriends!” Kayn clarified in an attempt to correct his mistake. Given that, there were two reactions: the fans who did not believe at all and a confused audience by the apparent mistake.
"Kayn, you idiot!" You exclaimed as you stood up from your seat. Your popcorn fell to the ground, as the chances of still being his girlfriend after that.
You walked from side to side across your room to calm your anxiety while Heartsteel featured the next song. “This isn't happening,” you thought in panic. You returned to your desktop to open Twitter and see the reactions of the fans. The clip of Kayn saying “This concert is for my girlfriend” was spreading like wildfire.
Kaynchokeme: MY SWEET BEAN HAS A GIRLFRIEND?!
Ezkaynisreal: If Kayn has a girlfriend, I'm going kms.
Daddyyone: Kayn biased be like: ☠️
ApheliosLover69: Kayn really made a mistake? 🤔
SettMeUp: KAYN IS FUCKING CHEATING ON US 😭
"They're not buying it." You thought out loud as you watched the endless threads of tweets while Kayn sang in your ear on the other tab.
The concert ended with fireworks, screams from the audience, and a shirtless Kayn. When the livestream ended, you sent your boyfriend a message telling him that you needed to talk. You had spent the rest of the concert reading Twitter threads where many fans began to expose theories of who could be the Kayn girlfriend’s and the vast majority were aiming at you.
Several fans found the newspaper reporting the first concert of Heartsteel, which was at your school when the talent show was. The students at your school, who were fans of Kayn since before he became a star, rumored that sometimes they saw him with you. But there was never enough evidence that proved there was something more than a friendship between you.
The only thing that made you look like a couple was a photo that Kayn had uploaded to his Instagram of you and the other members of the production team in the studio. There was nothing wrong with that photo. He had taken the photo of you while listening to Ezreal sing, making you look like you were part of the production. The only thing wrong with that photo was that you could see the earring that you shared, implying that their relationship is important to him, but it did not confirm anything.
Kayn called you on Discord after he showered in his hotel room. It was a video call, so you could see him shirtless and in all his glory. The window was open behind him, so you could see the lights of a darkened city.
“You saw me? It was a great concert!” He said, excited while drying his hair with a white towel. Some of his pink dye was lingering on the towel.
“Yes, it was a great concert… And a great confession! How did it occur to you to say that you have a girlfriend?!” You exclaimed in panic. He sighed and rolled his eyes.
“It was a mistake, okay? I really wanted to say “my girlfriends”, but I saw you in the chat, I thought about you and fuck up. I'm sorry,” Kayn apologized as he put the towel aside. "Just calm down."
“Calm down? There are Twitter threads where they describe how they are going to kidnap me so that you no longer have a girlfriend!” You screamed while you massage your temple to prevent a headache.
“You know how the internet is like, they're just exaggerating. You'll see that it will go away in a few days,” he tried another shot to calm you down.
“Kayn, I'm going back to school tomorrow. I'm not ready for this,” you explained your concern.
You already had problems communicating appropriately with your classmates because of how introverted you were. This was only going to make things worse. You didn't want Kayn's fame, you didn't want to be recognized, you just wanted to play video games and play guitar in the quietness of your room.
“Tomorrow, the crisis department will release an announcement where I officially say that I don't have a girlfriend and that's it, problem solved. You will have your normal life back,” Kayn explained in a calm voice.
"You promise?" You asked with a small voice.
“I promise,” Kayn responded. You could only let out a sigh that relieved your mind.
After a long video call with your boyfriend where you talked about the concert and his plans for when he returned home, you went to sleep with your head full of anxiety. The morning came too quickly. You got ready to go back to school and headed out. You decided to leave the official Heartsteel’s pins and keychains that Kayn had given you in your backpack so that people wouldn't suspect the change.
After some walking, you arrived at school and almost fainted when you saw the scene that was waiting for you. A gaggle of photographers was waiting patiently for you to show up at school. Now you not only have to anticipate your gossiping classmates, but also a bunch of reporters who care too much about the relationship of some teenagers,
You began to debate in your mind whether you should really attend on the first day. “If I enter, I will be bombarded with questions, and they are going to take many photos of me. If I don’t come in, they’re going to be more suspicious that I’m Kayn’s girlfriend.” You took too long to debate, so a paparazzo recognized you immediately.
“There she is!” He exclaimed as he ran towards you while taking photos of you. The others followed suit and quickly cornered you.
“Are you Kayn's girlfriend?!” “When did you start dating?!” “How big is he?!” It was the kind of questions that they bombed while they fired their flashes at you. You tried to cover your face from the cameras, but there were too many of them.
“No comment,” you repeated over and over again with a trembling voice while you were trying to get to the door of your school.
Not only did the paparazzi take photos of you, now your classmates were taking photos and recorded videos of what was happening. This was a nightmare. You wanted to wake up, but guess what? You were already wide awake. One way or another, you made it to the door. Two teachers kept the paparazzi away from you while you entered the building, leaving everything behind… or that's what you thought.
As soon as you stepped foot into the main building, all eyes were on you. You swallowed and just continued on your way to your living room. Several classmates from other classes approached you to ask you the same thing as the paparazzi. You avoided them as best you could, not being able to believe that everything was happening. Yesterday you were a normal girl with interaction problems, and now you were still a normal girl with interaction problems, but now you had a famous boyfriend.
You got to your classroom and everything got worse. Almost your entire class pounced on you to ask about your relationship with Kayn. You couldn’t resist it anymore. This was too much for you. Your body did the only thing your brain could think to do: run away.
Your legs were running as fast as possible to get to the music room. You went inside and locked yourself to prevent anyone else from entering. You threw yourself onto the bench there and took a deep breath in an attempt to calm your breathing. You received a text message and didn't hesitate to see who it was.
Rhaast: Have you arrived at school yet? Are you OK?
“Everything is your fault,” you thought out loud before turning off the phone to ignore the message, but you forgot that Kayn hates it when you leave him on read. Not even a minute passed by when he was already calling you.
“Hello?” You answered reluctantly as you continued to monitor your breathing.
“What happened? Why didn't you answer me?” He asked worriedly on the other end of the line.
“There are not only gossiping classmates. There are paparazzi outside the school.” You heard Kayn sigh in your ear.
“The airport was also full of them when I arrived this morning,” he said. “This is worse than I imagined. I'll pick you up.”
“No! If you come, everyone will think that we are dating,” you warned as you sat properly on the bench to pay attention to the conversation.
“You're right. I'll send someone for you to drive you to the studio. We must talk to the crisis department,” Kayn proposed. You accepted and hung up the call.
After being locked in the music room for half an hour, you saw through the window, hidden behind a curtain, that the paparazzi were still there. They were waiting for you like scavenger birds waiting for you to die so they could tear off your skin. After a while, a luxurious black car arrived and parked in front of the school. “That must be my ride,” you thought, relieved.
After receiving confirmation from Kayn that this car was your escape, you left the school and ran towards the car that was patiently waiting for you. The paparazzi caught up with you to take photos, but they didn't ask any questions. As you closed the door and asked the driver to drive off, you realized that you were not alone in the back seat. There was someone in a gray sweatshirt with the hood up, sunglasses, and a black cap. He was incognito, but what gave him away was that familiar cologne that you knew perfectly well.
"I told you not to come, you idiot!" You hit Kayn’s arm as he took off his costume as they left the paparazzi behind.
“I'm sorry! Is it a sin to make sure my girlfriend is okay?!” He exclaimed before grabbing your wrists to make you stop. You tried to move away from his body, but he wouldn't allow it. “Is this how you receive your handsome boyfriend after 2 months without seeing him?” He asked, offended.
“What are you doing here?” You asked him, tired of fighting.
“No one hurt you?” He ignored your question to inspect you from head to toe. Kayn missed seeing you in the adorable school uniform. He didn't like to wear it when he went to school, but it looked pretty good on you.
“No,” you answered in surrender.
“I missed you,” he whispered before pulling you closer to his lips.
Kissing Kayn was an indescribable experience. Having more years of practice than you, each kiss for you was better than the last one. The only bad thing is that Kayn is not one for simple, short kisses. He gives his all and this would be no exception. You could feel his passion, energy, and focus on you. His hands ran along the curvature of your waist to get more attached to you. Kayn might be the celebrity, but you were the star of the show.
His lips devoured you without remedy. He felt free and happy to have you in his arms again after months of abstinence. He liked to knead your body like he was a baker preparing dough. The softness of your lips and the warmth of your tongue provoked Kayn to want to spend the whole day kissing you.
He grabbed you by your thighs and forced you to get on his lap. His hands adapted to your butt to hold you against it. Kayn is like the tingling in your legs, the gasp that comes from a touch of static energy, or the cold in your mouth when you drink ice water after having a mint. He is the reaction to a radical change. He was rebellious, disastrous, and spontaneous. Kayn never had a plan, he likes to act on instinct. The beast inside him was in control when it came to that kind of thing. Kayn was ready to take off his clothes, but someone stopped him.
“We're here, Mr. Shieda.” The driver said dryly. Colors came to your face when you remembered that someone had been driving this entire time.
“Thank you, Kevin. Let me tip you,” Kayn cleared his throat to forget the awkward moment and took out his wallet.
Riot Records, the largest record label in the country. The reason your friends can't play cool music on their Twitch streams. Riot Records' headquarters were in the heart of the city. It was a modern and vibrant building, with contemporary design and creative spaces such as recording studios, composition areas and equipped offices. It also includes common spaces for socializing, meeting rooms and an art and design studio. The environment influences creativity, the relationships between artists and the process of music production and promotion.
Kayn led you to a conference room where there were two women. A sophisticated blonde in a suit who was in charge of the crisis department at Riot Records and a pink-haired girl, who looked familiar to you, who was in charge of the marketing department for Heartsteel. They sat face to face. You were very nervous and Kayn noticed it right away, so he took your hand lovingly.
“It's a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Alune, I am Aphelios' sister,” The younger girl introduced herself with a friendly smile. You introduced yourself in the same way but with a weak smile due to your nervousness. "Well, since we already introduced ourselves, I'm afraid to tell you that you should break up." Alune gave them the bad news with a sad expression of being the messenger.
“What?!” You and Kayn exclaimed at the same time in shock, but then Alune laughed.
“You are so cute, obviously you don’t need to break up,” Alune said between laughs. They both relaxed upon hearing that she was just joking. "In fact, we need you to date a little more time together in the public eye."
“Why? Isn't it going to affect Heartsteel’s popularity?” You asked confused.
“Yes and no. It's true that we will lose a few fans, but it's a small investment we're willing to make,” the blonde explained with great precision and elegance.
“Really?” Kayn asked, just as confused as his girlfriend.
“Yes, the fact that you have accepted that you have a girlfriend now is the best thing that could have happened to Heartsteel. Alune opened her laptop, revealing a PowerPoint presentation about what they would talk about at the meeting.
This was the situation. Heartsteel was about to release a new single on February 15, after Valentine's Day, which will be titled: Heartbreaker. The Marketing department's plan is to take advantage of the current relationship of the most rebellious member of Heartsteel with his girlfriend, who came out of nowhere to promote it in the long run.
The plan was as follows: Step 1. Spread the tea of the relationship with the help of the paparazzi. Step 2. Send them on a date from Riot Records on Valentine's Day in a public place. Step 3. Pretend to break up in said public place, creating a total spectacle in front of the cameras and making it obvious that you were over. Step 4: Kayn announces on social media that Heartsteel will release a heartbreak song, hinting that it is about his ex. They were willing to lose some fans in the month that their public relationship lasted because they knew that they would get them back as soon as they break up.
“What do you think? Brilliant, right?” Alune asked after finishing her presentation.
“I don't know…” you commented while you were playing with your fingers as you thought at the situation
If you decided to do all of that, it would mean having to give up your precious privacy for a while. You wanted to do everything you could to help Kayn, but you didn't know if it was the right way to do it. Your boyfriend squeezed your hand gently to get your attention.
"It's okay if you refuse," Kayn whispered to you.
"I'm just scared, that's all…" you confessed, insecure.
“This is a foolproof plan. Many celebrity relationships are like this. They have fake relationships that help the two celebrities become better known,” the blonde explained with a wise air.
“Everything will be fine, you will do well. Valentine's Day will be in a month. You will return to your private life soon,” Kayn assured you as his thumb stroked the torso of your hand softly.
“Also, you can take advantage of this month to go out as much as you want. The more you guys go out, the better. You can go grab some coffee, go to the movies, maybe a motel…” Alune hinted, but the blonde nudged her to keep her quiet.
You smiled at that. The couple exchanged a knowing look at the idea. “Well, it wouldn't hurt to have a month of normal dating without repercussions,” you thought. If you were going to have to live your life in the public eye for a while anyway, what's better than to make the most of it?
“That sounds good.” You agreed to participate in this advertising stunt.
Kayn and you hang out together the entire month, like lovey doves in their nest. Kayn picked you up at school almost every day. His extravagant car caught the attention of your classmates and killed your friend with envy. He always kissed you, opened the door for you, and took you to eat at your favorite restaurants.
The paparazzi did all the work of announcing to the world that Kayn did have a girlfriend, and it was you. The Internet was filled with photos of you kissing in different places, walking down the street hand in hand, trying to avoid cameras, and sharing desserts in public. It was strange to see yourself on Twitter Trends. You enjoyed spending time with Kayn, but every date meant sacrificing a part of yourself for the entertainment of the public eye. The only thing that allowed you to kiss Kayn in broad daylight with paparazzi hovering around you was that it was one of the few ways you could support his career.
Valentine's Day was quickly approaching. Alune planned the last date. Kayn would pick you up, take you to a fancy restaurant, fight over dessert, and then you would throw the cake they ordered in his face. You wouldn't know if you could do it, but you had to try to do your best. You were not a person who gets angry easily, so you were afraid of not knowing how to act accordingly.
Alune sent you a red dress with pearl accessories. They looked expensive, so you were very careful not to ruin them. Watched some tutorials on YouTube to do your hair and makeup. It took you all morning to prepare, but you managed to highlight your best version. At dinner time, Kayn picked you up as always.
“Hi gorgeous. I hadn't seen you around here before, what's your name?” He asked you as he looked at you from head to toe, pretending you were another girl. You blushed as he took your hand to kiss your knuckles.
“I thought you had a girlfriend,” you played along.
“Yes, I have a girlfriend and I respect her a lot,” he responded with a playful smile as he pulled you closer by the waist.
“If you respected her, you wouldn't be flirting with me,” you frowned.
“Believe me, I respect her so much that I will do everything to you that I can't do to her, beautiful,” he purred into your ear before placing a kiss on your cheek.
You were shocked at his response. You didn't have anything clever you could top it off with. Kayn moved down to your neck to kiss it and gently nibble on your skin. Your body reacted to the tickling. Your boyfriend smiled as he saw you smile at the feeling.
“You always look beautiful, but today you are showing it off,” Kayn said with a smile plastered on his face.
Kayn drove without discretion, as always, while you watched the landscape pass in front of you. The nerves were consuming you inside, but you pretended everything was fine as you hummed some songs Kayn had on his playlist. You were happy and sad that this would be his last date in the public eye. He quickly noticed that you seemed to be a bit upset.
“Is something wrong?” he asked you, holding my thigh with his right hand while maneuvering the steering wheel with his left hand.
“I'm nervous. I don't know if I can do it,” you said before sighing in an attempt to relax.
“It will be like a normal date. Only this time, instead of saying goodbye with kisses, it will be with a bang. It will be fun!” Kayn explained, trying to cheer you up.
"I don't want to end our date with a bang,” you whined.
“C’mon! How many times have you threatened my mom for sucking at League?” He asked.
“But that's different. It's in the privacy of my room, no one can see me there,” you responded.
"Just think about all the times I've made you angry, and you'll see that the madness will come out on its own," Kayn said before patting your head.
You rolled your eyes and returned your gaze to the window. Kayn made it sound so simple, but it was because he was already used to that lifestyle. You wished you could adapt like him. Be as outgoing as him. That you didn't care about anything like him. But you weren't him, you were just you, and that's okay. You would get out of this your way, for your sake and Kayn's.
As soon as you arrived at the restaurant that the marketing department had chosen for you, the fierce pack of gossip-hungry paparazzi surrounded you mercilessly. Kayn completely ignored them and took you out of the car like a true gentleman. The reporters shouted questions that you couldn’t understand among all the noise. They were both instructed not to say anything, so that’s what they did.
The restaurant was illuminated by soft golden light that reflected off the ivory walls and crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The tables were elegantly dressed with white tablecloths and covered with delicate china and sparkling crystal stemware. The soft hum of live music filled the air, complementing the lively conversation of the diners.
The date started well. They talked about their future plans, drank luxurious drinks, and the appetizer was delicious. If it weren't for the paparazzi and the publicity stunt, this would have been the best date in the world. They had started well, but they knew it would end very badly. Anxiety-filled thoughts invaded your mind again. You tried to push them away to enjoy the good things of the date, but time was passing, and you had to ruin it soon.
During the conversation, Kayn noticed that you remained somewhat distant. He reached for your hand that was subtly resting on the table to get your attention. You snapped out of your thoughts to focus on him. I smile at you and ask you how much you were thinking about.
"I was just thinking how sad it is that we're going to break up on our first Valentine's Day together," you whispered so only he could hear you.
“There will be more in the future. I promise. For now, let's focus on fixing this situation,” he said before kissing your knuckles with delight.
Since this was an Italian restaurant, they both ordered two different types of pasta that they decided to share. Kayn was trying to distract you with the pleasant conversation and caresses under the table so that you would stop thinking about the inevitable that was about to happen.
After finishing eating, the inevitable happened: the dessert they didn't order arrived at their table. It was a small cake for two decorated with strawberries and lots of cream, the perfect cake to make a mess of. You felt something brush against your legs. You looked under the tablecloth, it was a note from Kayn on a napkin. “Scold me for pretending to go on a date with another girl to make you jealous. I deserve the punishment,” you read in your mind.
You still remembered it. The reason you almost gave up on confessing to Kayn at the time. Since you thought about it, you never scold him about it. You were so happy that he was yours that you forgot to be upset with him.
“Who is Rachel?” You asked him. Starting with the performance.
“A friend,” he answered without further ado.
“Don’t lie to me! Do you think I am stupid?!” You exclaimed as you slammed the table so that all the other diners could see it.
The audience watched the scene carefully, some were recording it and others wondered where the employees were to pick them apart in case things escalated. What they didn't know is that Alune had paid the restaurant to let them do their little scene without interruptions. You were drawing out anger from a deep place in your stomach that you didn't even know existed. Kayn's eyes widened. He didn't expect you to get violent.
“What the hell is wrong with you?! You are crazy!” Kayn screamed with a frown.
“Kayn Shieda! Did you sleep with her, yes or no?!” You shouted so everyone could hear their conversation.
“She is just a friend…” he said while rubbing his temple to avoid a migraine.
"Yes or no, asshole?!" You exclaimed as if you were playing League with your friends in the privacy of your room. Kayn remained silent, he did not know what to answer. By this point, the other diners were wondering what was going on. You leaned back in the chair and pretended to cry. "Is she better than me?" You whispered between fake sobs.
"Hey, if I tell you the truth, you won’t get angry?" Kayn asked quietly. You nodded as you wiped away your non-existent tears. “Yes, I slept with her, but it was only once!” he confessed with shame.
The diners gasped in surprise in unison at the great revelation. You smiled weakly. You couldn't believe you were doing what you were going to do. You took the strawberry and cream cake and smashed it on his face. The cream shot everywhere, and you ruined your boyfriend's thin black shirt.
"Fuck you, Kayn! Lose my number! We are so done!” You exclaimed hysterically.
You ran away from the restaurant. The paparazzi rushed at you again to explain what had just happened. The only response you gave them was the middle finger. You hoped you wouldn't have to deal with them again for a long time. You got into the “taxi” that Alune had sent so that you could escape from there and return home safely.
A satisfying smile appeared on your face. Finally, everything was about to end soon. You would return to your normal life and Kayn will be able to continue feeding his fans' bad boy illusion. Your cell phone was ringing like crazy from messages from your friends, who had also inevitably found out that you were dating Kayn, asking how you were doing. You turned off your phone to recharge your social battery. Tomorrow, you would tell them everything.
When the driver turned onto the wrong street, you started to worry. You approached his seat to find out where exactly he was taking you, but he only said that he was following Kayn's orders. You didn't want to doubt his work, and you returned to your seat.
"Kayn told you to bring me to school?" You asked confused.
"Yes, he told me you would know where to go," he answered kindly.
“Thank you, Kevin. Have a good night,” you said goodbye as you got out of the vehicle.
Your heels clicked against the clean floor of the empty hallways. The front door was open, so you had no problem getting in. You felt strange being the only person there during the night. You were like a ghost in pain, wandering around the place until you reached your favorite destination. You were surprised to see a light on in the music room. You opened the door.
“Happy Valentine's Day, beautiful,” Kayn congratulated you with a large bouquet of red roses.
You blushed at the unexpected surprise. You gladly received the beautiful flowers and admired the place. It still looked like the music room, the only difference was that now there was a table with candles and a plate with your favorite sweets. It was intimate, private and romantic. It was better than the date at the restaurant. This was the best date in the world.
“How did you get here before me? When did you plan this?” You asked, not being able to believe the effort he had made for you.
“I ran off like four traffic lights to get here so I could change,” Kayn responded as he guided you to the table to sit down. He pulled out the chair for your comfort and, once seated, gently pushed you towards the table. “I had planned to do something else for Valentine's Day, but my big mouth ruined everything. Although, I wasn't going to let myself ruin another important thing for both of us, so I thought about this,” he explained as he sat down at the table.
“You're crazy,” you joked.
“Crazy for you,” he took the matter seriously.
Kayn looked deep into your eyes. He wanted to make sure you understood that he would do anything for you and that there was no one like you. You were his world, his muse, his girl and his greatest desire. They didn't need words to express their feelings for each other in a moment of complicity and infinite love.
Even though there were delicious sweets on the table, Kayn only wanted your sweet lips against his. He kept you close to his body, his hands molded to your cheeks so you wouldn't run away, and his fragrance intoxicated your nose. You couldn't imagine yourself with anyone else but him, and your kisses made it clear to him.
“I love you,” Kayn whispered between kisses.
“I love you too,” you smiled against his lips.

yeonjun
bully turned lover
honestly high school felt like another lifetime. your entire high school experience was mostly just you trying to get through all your classes and get into a good collage. sadly there isn't a high school experience without some downs. choi yeonjun. your high school bully. popular as he was, he wasn't necessarily the nicest guy around. you would never in any universe consider him a friend or anything more.
girls would swoon over him and his good looks, but you saw right through that. little did you know that made you a target for him. the constant words being thrown at you by himself and his friends, the ongoing harassment. obviously high school was not a great couple of years for you.
thankfully after graduation, you decided to take a couple of years off before college. just have fun and be an adult. dating is naturally part of that "adult experience". over the time you were out of school you decided to go on some randomly scheduled dates. whether they be from online dating, or set ups from friends.
anyway back to real time, cute cafe date with some guy you thought was nice on some random dating site. honestly it wasn't that fun, but at least you could get a coffee and not look lonely.
'i'm gonna go get a few napkins ok?'
your date asks you while beginning to sit up. you nod with a small smile. you take your phone out while he walks around to the front counter and asks the employee for napkins. your about to put your phone away, when there is a light tap to your shoulder.
'uhm...l/n y/n?'
your head turns around at the sound of your name being called by a familiar voice. you turn your head to see choi yeonjun. your high school bully in the flesh.
'y-yeonjun?'
your eyes grow wide at the sight of him. you briefly exchange simple "how have you been"'s and "what brings you hear"'s. to which you answer that you're on a date, and he tells you he was just in the area and wanted a drink.
'uhm...i just wanted to say, that i was a jerk in high school towords you. i really am sorry. i had always thought it was cool of me to be acting like that, but i realized after we graduated how stupid i was."
yeonjun continued his entire apology speech to you before you stopped him and asked him what the point of this was, while also thanking him.
'i was wondering, i-if you were free tomorrow?'
you smiled at his gesture and accepted his invitation. you simply gave him your number and he promised to text you when he got the chance. you smiled at him as he walked away. as your date came back he asked,
'who was that?'
'a friend.'
soobin
rejected to lovers
today was the day he was gonna do it. soobin was gonna confess his feelings to you. he knew he had a small chance of you feeling the same way. but he had confidence! confidence that you would like him too.
the cocky side of soobin coming out, he thought that you could like him. he was good looking, a sophmore like you, good personality, polite, and he was never rude or imposing.
so here he was, standing out in the courtyard, holding a flower out to you. his head was down and his eyes were closed, in hopes you wouldn't see him embarrassment. your eyes are wide, and mouth is slightly agape. you look down at the flower in his hands.
'uhm...i'm sorry, but...i don't feel the same way."
soobin looked back up with you, before bowing once again, handing you the flower, and running away to somewhere you don't know. honestly you didn't know what happened from there. you didn't interact with him as much after that.
--------
ahh finally. senior year was here. the years prior went by fast. stressful assignments that are finally done and gone, the long hours of studying for a test are finally over with, and hopeless relationships that you initiated, and one that you didn't, and declined.
oh yeah. you remember that, when a boy you had liked in middle school confessed his feelings to you in the courtyard with a flower in hand. every since that day, you had thought about it more and more. sometimes you still wonder why you declined. sometimes you wondered if you lost feelings, or were just too oblivious to realize.
honestly, deep down you know if you said yes that day everything would change. maybe you did have a crush on him now, but you knew he wouldn't take you back after that. damn it he probably hates you!
--------
soobin was on your mind every freakin day. literally there was nothing you could look out without thinking about him. fuck it. you were gonna at least write him a note telling him you liked him and you were sorry. save yourself the embarrassment of being rejected face to face. damn it. that's what he you did to him...
at that realization you screwed the note, ran to his house after 7th period and prepared yourself for rejection, because goddammit you knew what was about to happen.
you rung the doorbell of his home, and for some reason was surprised to see your classmate there, uniform still on, hair shaggy, and a surprised expression prominently taking over his face.
'h-hey, y/n. uhm, what are you doing at my house...?'
your face mirrored his when he asked that simple question.
'i just wanted to say i'm sorry for sophomore year. i don't know what i was thinking when i said that. to be honest with you i was pretty much in love with you all of middle school and probably now too, i'm just too much of an idiot to realize that until now.'
you rambled out. his mouth with now in an "o" shape. what the heck did he just hear??! his crush of two plus years is literally confessing to him that she's been in love with him since middle school?!
'ok then. let's start over. hi, im choi soobin, and i'm in love with you too'
(sorry this one was a bit confusing :/)
beomgyu
other side personality shown
the world knew beomgyu as the meme of an idol. the happy go lucky mood maker member of txt. that wasn't how you knew him though. you knew him as the caring, well thought out guy who casually told you he liked you a couple of years prior.
you knew him as the chill guy who you met on some dating sight, fell in love with, and found out he was an idol. honestly that didn't change anything for you though. if anything it made your trust for him better.
the fact that he was able to continue talking to you while also having the responsibility of being an idol and keeping something from you that he shouldn't be throwing around on a dating website.
you saw the smart man behind the outgoing personality he had with his friends. the calm and relaxed romance was always the guy you saw when you opened the door.
'hey.'
beomgyu said with a sweet smile on his lips. he was pretty much beaming, but in a different way than he does with his friends. with his friends its a constant mischievous smirk. with you its a look of love and admiration.
'hey gyu.'
for the rest of the night you sat in each other comfort and the silent night outside you window. thanks to your boyfriends busy schedule, these rare times where you can be together in the kitchen and make ramen are precious.
so here you are standing at the stove stirring the ramen and adding in the powder to the mix, while beomgyu is washing the dishes that were still sitting in the sink from the other night when he was over.
'its done!!'
you say happily turning around and proudly pointing to the ramen on the counter. he snaps his head around and dips his head down to smell the comforting ramen smell. but before standing back up to his level he leaves a quick peck on your lips.
'sorry. i had to'.
his playful side coming out, you smile and decide to peck his lips back. with that small interaction between lovers, he drops the towel in his hands and brings you closer by your hips. his head turns to the side as he sweetly kisses you.
with you there was no competition. no constant need to be better than his hyungs. obviously you love everside of the guy, but this special side that only you get to see is by far your favorite.
taehyun
oblivious x oblivious
'HE LIKES YOU WHY DON'T YOU REALIZE IT.'
was what your best friend was currently yelling at you. she was always on your back about your love life even though you told her not to. but there's no way to stop the people who care about you.
well anyway, she was talking about taehyun. you had known him since senior year when he transferred to your school and became a prominent part of your friend group.
he was never someone you would hang out with unless it was with someone else too. your friend group was pretty mixed, so multiple grades and girls and boys.
naturally that led to some crushes, which led to gushy relationships along with heartbreaks. you didn't want any part of that. and neither did taehyun.
'he doesn't like me.'
you answer turning your head and smiling to yourself. why does she push so hard. he doesn't like you and that's just it. end of conversation.
'boo'
you hear from the back of you. you flinch slightly at the cold hands being placed on your shoulders. fuck it was him. did he hear you? did he care? i guess he would have said something but whatever.
'oh hi...'
you say quietly as if you're trying to hide from him. he smiles at your small interaction.
'OH TAEHYUN!! we were just talking about-'
you clapped your hand around her mouth in order to stop the information from coming out. damn it, if you let her say one more thing your cover would be blown.
taehyun simply stood there then smiled and look at his feet.
'ok then, well i better get going. see you y/n'
you nodded and said your goodbyes as well. she gave you a look of disappointment and a hint of side eye. to be honest you felt the same way. maybe if you had just let it play out he it would have worked out. it doesn't matter anyway he doesn't like you.
'WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU'
your friend says right after you lift your hand gently from her mouth. you look at her with a blank look.
'why don't either of you realize you like each other.'
normally in moments like this you would defend your understanding, that he doesn't feel the same way. but this time was different. you were so close to even the slightest chance of being with him. but you let it slip away.
you look down at your feet before turning around on your heel and walking in the direction taehyun did. you didn't look back, but you knew by the silence that your friend was smiling.
'taehyun!!'
you yell while waving your hand to get his attention. he turns around from where he stood a good 10 feet away from you. you stopped in your tracks and made eye contact with him. neither of you moved in that moment that felt like it was just to two of you.
'i like you!!'
you yell, closing your eyes, too scared of what the outcome will be. maybe he would walk away and not say anything. maybe he will come up to you and tell you you're weird. maybe he'll just flat out reject you.
you open your eyes to the feeling of big, warm hands cupping your cheeks. your eyes blink open and you see his tall, broad figure standing above you.
'i like you too'
huening kai
opposites attract
he was everything you didn’t want. he was exactly the opposite of what you wanted in someone to be a relationship in with.
kai was crazy and loud, and had little to none idea what he was doing half of the time. or at least that’s what you thought.
on the other hand, you were exactly what he didn’t want. you weren’t someone to go out on midnight dates just for the fun of it. not the type of person to have flour fights with in the kitchen.
why the fuck would he want you then? well, guess your friends thought otherwise when they set you up together on a blind date.
the look of astonishment on your face when you saw him walk through the door of she semi nice restaurant one of your friends left you at.
eyes widened, mouth agape slightly. you were kinda pissed if you don’t say so yourself. he simply stood there with a smirk on his face as he walked towards you, knowing full well this wasn’t gonna work out.
‘hey.’
you look down and reply quietly with another hello. what the fuck were you doing here. you knew this wasn’t a good idea. it was a horrible one to be honest. your thoughts continued to run wild until his voice stopped you.
‘well, how about we just enjoy the night and tell our friends it went great, but we still don’t like each other.’
‘sounds good.’
you answered with another short reply. throughout the night went on, you noticed things about him. the small mole on the side of his neck, even the way he talked when he got exited.
you also learned things about him like, he stays up late playing games, and that his love for plushies is never ending, and he even pointed out that he doesn’t normally like people more down to earth like you, but he didn’t enjoy your company.
maybe after tonight you didn’t hate him so much anymore. as soon as it came, the end came as well. you paid the check and walked out of the restaurant maybe a little closer than you used to.
you said your goodbyes and started to walk back in the direction of your home, still thinking about how much fun you had.
sure it was just a simple dinner date, but you had more fun in that night than you did all week. maybe he wasn’t so different from you.
‘wait!!’
you hear being screamed from behind you. you turn around with a questioning look on your face as you stopped and started as he started jogging to where you were.
‘can i get your number?’
you stared at him with wide eyes as you contemplated what was happening.
‘please?’
a smile started to seep through your lips as you giggled at his delayed politeness. you nod enthusiastically and pass him your phone with the text screen open for him to fill in his number. he passes his phone in return.
god he’s so cute, you think to yourself. why did he have to be so different?
‘so, i know we’re different people, but i would really like to see you again soon. honestly, i really like you.’
he says, his head held down while handing you back your phone you you handing him back his.
‘i would like that.’

AITA for telling my (now ex-)friend to remove a facebook post? This was several years ago (as evidenced by the part where anybody still used facebook), but somebody I knew from high school (24F ballpark, let's call her Kim) went on fb bragging about having gone to a girl's house, broken into said house, and beaten the girl up. The justification for this was that she was a homophobe and bullying a friend of Kim's, who was a lesbian (let's call her Jane). I commented on the post like "buddy. buddy you know there are cops on facebook, right??? and that you've just admitted publicly to breaking and entering and aggravated assault and battery, RIGHT???? you might wanna delete this post before cops find it and you get very arrested" and she FLEW OFF THE HANDLE Kim started screaming at me about not being supportive, that she'd been in the right, that I was defending some homophobe I knew nothing about. didn't seem to matter how many times I pointed out that I don't care if she beat somebody up; I care if she gets arrested from posting evidence like an idiot online. I'm trying to help her cover up a crime; what more proof of friendship do you WANT? anyway Jane decides to pitch her two cents in as well and say how grateful she is that Kim beat someone up on her behalf and that I should shut up since I don't know anything about the situation and how bad it was getting (this was never expanded upon).
after being blown off and screamed at for having THE NERVE to tell them self-incriminating evidence is still admissible in court, I told them both they were idiots and would honestly deserve the arrest at this point of the "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" variety and blocked them both.
side note that Kim's boyfriend was a drug dealer at the time and if the cops searched her house, they would almost certainly find evidence to drag him down with her, so that would really suck for him, the poor bastard
I'm pretty confident I was right and if what's-her-face reported the incident to cops - if indeed it ever happened and Kim wasn't just making shit up for clout(?) on the internet - it would be a slam-dunk conviction, and that friends look out for friends when cops coming sniffing, but given how multiple people all gave me shit for saying so, was I the asshole for jumping right into "you're an idiot for posting this online" (not my phrasing, I was nicer about it but like... yeah that was the gist)?
What are these acronyms?

Este's a friend of mine, We meet up every Tuesday night for dinner and a glass of wine
"Sorry I'm late, traffic." celeste huff and sits across from her friend. The wine has been waiting in it's corked bottle, but her exact salad order was already placed at her side of the table. "No worries, baby-love" her best friend smiles at her as the young waiter walks over and pops the wine's cork
This was their weekly thing, always has been since they were in high school. Hard to believe that the two girls that were sat at this table talking about things like marriage, taxes and alcohol were once two younger girls gossiping about boys, weekend sports games, and hair color. That's just how things change sometime. But the older of the two hated changed. Always has. Always will.
That's why they kept this Tuesday tradition even through college. They always had dinner together, same restaurant, same table, same wine, same orders. No changes. Just the way they liked it, loved it.
"How's Lando?" The older woman asked her friend before sipping her wine. An unpleasant taste makes its way through her mouth, replacing the usually enjoyable red wine once she saw celeste's face change into a saddened and depressed expression.
"Well, he's great. I just, I've noticed some things recently..."
She says, "That ain't my Merlot on his mouth That ain't my jewelry on our joint account"
"It's just... I drink the same wine he does,"
"Merlot," her friend nods, earning a nod back. Lando had money, coming from a rich background and growing up in an even richer future as a Formula 1 driver. He drives on circuits everywhere around the world, from america to italy to tokyo. so it's safe to say he knew their wines. Celeste was the same, growing up in a just as wealthy family, she's enjoyed her moms expensive wines since she was in high school, which was odd amongst the crowd of teenagers that were drinking spirits and beers.
"Yeah, and the merlot we drink, it doesn't leave that red stain on his lips." She lets out a small sigh before pushing further into her point, "And I only wear silver jewelry, always have, but I went through our bank accounts for bills and I saw gold jewelry being bought on his account."
Maybe she's exaggerating, but the more she's looked back on the past few months, things start making sense. Less time together, less sex, quieter 'I love you's. She wondered if he was bored, she tried her best to keep their relationship exciting in many different ways. But nothing has changed.
The older friend wanted so badly to go online and expose him, call him out on his bullshit that Este has been crying about for the past few months. She wanted to end his little fanbase, maybe even his career. But there wasn't enough proof, she needed proof.
No body, no crime.
"I think he did it, but... I just can't prove it"
The next Tuesday cam by and she hadn't heard from Celeste at all that day, nonetheless, she still showed up to their usual restaurant. But after about an hour she made a call to their other friend, Inez, she works with Celeste, they've all been fairly close since school. Though Inez isn't the most trustworthy source, she knows she would get an honest answer as to where Celeste was. "I haven't seen her, I thought she was sick but our boss said she hasn't even called in sick. We figured she just got too sick to call this morning."
But that's not like Celeste. Her best friend had seen her call into their high school to let them know she wasn't making it even when she had food poisoning. She knows that's not the case. She left the restaurant, making her way to the Norris household. "I haven't seen her either, I tried filing a report but they said I have to wait 24 hours." He seemed panicked, like he had been crying and screaming all day long. His voice was practically gone and his hands were shaking more than a small dog stuck in the winter snow.
Hе reports his missing wife. And I noticed when I passed his house his truck has got some brand new tires.
The tires was one thing, maybe he genuinely needed tires. His face is all over the news along with Celeste's talking about his missing wife, but they don't bother to mention his new side pieces that just moved in...
"his mistress moved in, sleeps in Este's bed and everything!" Inez's nosy ass came in hand from time to time. She saw the move in truck when she was making her way to work one day. At first she thought it was Lando that was moving out, turns out the mistress that their dear friend had been worrying about weeks before had moved in.
"I think he did it, I just can't prove it."
"No body, no crime." Inez shrugged, not thinking much of her friends statement, surely Norris wasn't up to anything? He loved Este. Right?
As time went on, it was obvious. He did it. Even the police think so, but rich people always get their way don't they? She starts coming up with a plan. Vengeance. It ran through her bloodstream, it felt like a burning sensation.
"Good thing my daddy made me get a boating license when I was fifteen." Everything was going according to plan, it was perfect.
"Hey, Lando." She gave him a smile. It had been four months since Celeste was presumed dead, the investigation went silent a while ago and the whole town gave up hope of finding her. Her name is no longer a trending topic, but her voice and face are still gone.
The racing driver looked at his dead wife's friend with shock but nervousness. He tries to cover it with a mask of sadness, but she knew better than to fall for a man's lies. She was invited in, seeing no trace on her friend anywhere in the mansion that Celeste had called home.
"What are you doing here?" He asked once the door closed and locked behind him. He knew something was up, he was smart but not much of a genius, clearly. "Just catching up Norris," She smiled at the taller individual, "I see you and the new girl are getting along just fine. That didn't take long?"
"It's been a year."
"Took you barely 10 months to move her in." She states back. "I wanna show you something."
The drive to the docks was a good 10 minutes, Monaco is a great place to live when you want to buy a fancy new yacht. Her dad's yacht was nothing compared to Lando's driving competitor, but it was still very impressive. "Your dad's yacht?"
The amount of parties that were thrown around and on the yacht were crazy, it's how him and Este met in the first place. He thought it was a sweet gesture from the girl, though she saw the look on his face the entire time they were on the water. He looked sea sick, but she knows the driver had been on plenty of yacht's in his life, he's not sea sick.
He was quick to realize what was happening when they stopped in the middle of the nowhere on the deep waters. He knew, he came to terms with it, but he was so sure they would catch her, unlike they did him. His name is bigger, his house, his cars, his bank account, they're all bigger. But her? She's simply just... better.
"I've cleaned enough houses to know how to cover up a scene." Was the last thing he would hear that night. They next morning she would let her father know that the boat is cleaned, smells of fresh lemons and other citrus like aroma's. "Thank you sweetheart, glad to know you still have time to clean that ole' thing between your classes," He handed her some wadded up cash. The monthly occurrence of cleaning for her parents, everything from their yard to the yacht, they are just far too old to do it themselves.
News stations, media outlets, and other headlining articles went crazy after the mistress filed a missing persons report. Lando Norris missing nearly a full year after his wife's disappearance.
"Formula 1 McLaren driver, Lando Norris, was reported missing last night after not coming home from a boating trip with some friends. Officials have yet to give anymore details."
Good things Este's sisters gonna swear she was with me.
"She was with me, dude, I told you this. We all went out on the yacht, he got too drunk so we sent him home." Alana swore up and down her truth, another cover up that will never slip her teeth. Her parents always said she would be a good actor, she got away with everything as a kid. Este used to hate it.
"To his wife?"
"They're married? I don't know, man, I guess. She seemed pretty pissed if you ask me."
Good thing his mistress took out a big life insurance policy
She was cleared, no proof, no evidence. they checked the camera's, Alana and her sisters friend helping each other drag Lando's drunken body back in the truck. The yacht was clean, "I clean it at this time every month for my parents, they're getting too old to scrub it down like they used to, ya know?" The maid and her parents vouched for her, it's true, the end every month when it wasn't too cold or hot, she was at the docs. The other boat owners even agreed.
"They think she did it, but they just can't prove it." The news reporter stated as a picture of the now widowed mistress was shown on the screen. The television shuts off as a smirk is splattered on their faces.
"She thinks I did it." She smiles at the younger, chuckling in disbelief as if she was crazy for thinking just a thing. "She just can't prove it. But, like we've always said, No body." She raises up her wine glass.
Celeste copies the gesture with a venomous smile, "No crime."

Miraculous Pinterest Pen-Pals
My favorite online interaction that I've ever had was when I was in highschool (2017-ish) I started getting really regular DMs from a person I didn't know on pinterest. They had a pfp that was Ladybug from Miraculous Ladybug and would send me posts from pinterest about the show while they excitedly talked about how cute the fanart they would send was- they did this completely in spanish.
Important context...I don't speak spanish. I took a couple school required spanish courses in middle and high school but I wasn't incredibly adept at it.
I popped their message into google translate and their excitement over a piece of fanart of the Miraculous Jewelry Box was so joyous that (despite being incredibly confused) I wanted to respond. I looked at their account and didn't recognize the name, their bio said they were 13 and I was 15 turning 16 so I didn't think I actually knew them irl but I felt bad leaving them hanging so I pulled out my old Spanish class notebooks and using my (luckily well recorded) grammar and sentence structure note guides as well as a digital Spanish dictionary (I didn't trust google translate to NOT make me sound like a fool- the Disney songs that were put through google translate many times were very popular back then, especially the song "Let It Go" so I was incredibly skeptical of Google Translate at the time.) I wrote back a response. It took me about half an hour to write a two sentence reply that essentially boiled down to "Yes I think the drawing is pretty too! I like how the artist really showed the Kwami's personalities!"
Until 2019 the two of us continued to send fan art back and forth, always adding our thoughts in Spanish. Their screen name was just a bunch of emojis and I never ended up learning their name or finding a way to contact them off of Pinterest- we had been chatting back and forth for so long I got embarrassed at the idea of admitting that I actually knew next to nothing about them and admitting that I didn't actually speak Spanish irl- for some reason it felt a little like lying that I never told them I was an English speaker and I cared enough about their opinion of me that I didn't want to disappoint them.
In 2019 though they stopped sending posts, all activity on their Pinterest stopped and a few weeks after they went silent their whole account got taken down.
I panicked, thinking something bad might've happened but the fact was that I knew nothing about them except for what you could see on their Pinterest boards. They liked miraculous ladybug, their favorite colors were blue and orange, they were likely a girl because they referred to themselves as la hija menor de mi madre once when talking about their relationship with their siblings and their fights over who got to use the TV. They liked lolita fashion and dogs and those DIY Decoden phone case/card decoration things, but other than that I knew nothing about them.
I think about them pretty often, especially when I see Miraculous Ladybug content- honestly the memories they gave me might be the only real reason I'm still active in Miraculous Fandom despite not having watched past the Chat Blanc episode.
While I miss them, or at least regret that out interactions got cut off so harshly, being their Pinterest Pal, being their friend made me really hopeful about creating connections with others- especially people with overlapping interests. Being their friend really let me know that being loud about your likes was important because it could lead to the most unlikely of bridges.

Them confessing to you
Feat. Osamu & Kuroo
Osamu
Osamu never felt this nervous before. He felt like he was going to throw up any time soon out of pure nervousness.
He was fairly certain that you liked him too, you blushed whenever he tried to flirt with you, you spend your free time with him, you even exchange keys of each others place so either of you could just go whenever you wanted; and yet there still was a voice telling him that somehow you liked Atsumu a little more. Maybe it was the fact that in high school he had the most fan girls; or maybe it was because you also seem to blush at whatever he said to you, making him laugh and you hit him.
But while Atsumu could be the most annoying and asshole twin he could ever asked for, he knew that he would never try to lead you when he knew that Osamu was in love with you.
So here he was, his surprise ready as he waits for you to arrive, the table beautifully set up just for you
“Eh? Sam you're here?” he hears your voice, confusion on it
“Yeah, in the living room”
“I know I gave you keys, but at least let me know you're here, I thought someone br- what's all of this?” you cut your rant as soon as you enter into the room and notice the table full of your favorites foods. Osamu wasn’t looking at you, his eyes glued to the TV with a blush on his cheeks, so you took the more that was near you “‘I made all of your favorite dishes because you're my favorite person, will you be my girlfriend?’ Really Sam?”
“In my defense, it sounded more romantic on paper than reading it out loud, now it's just cringe” he explains quickly, the redness of his face intensifying when he looked at you
“Sure”
“Eh?”
“You asked me to be your girlfriend, and I'm saying yes” you say with a smile, a smile that made him stand up and go to where you were
“Thank God” he passes his arms through your body, giving a hug “But why did ya blush whenever you and Atsumu were alone?”
“Because he loves to make fun of me with you! You really thought I like that idiot?”
“Maybe, who knows”
“Idiot. Now, while I love your cooking, I’m really gonna need help to eat all of this food alone “ you pull him to the table, sitting side by side. He took your hand in his before asking
“So, can I finally brag about having a girlfriend?”
“You can”
Kuroo
You have been friends with Kuroo for years now, since your Nekoma years together; you two had a mix between a normal friendship and flirting, neither of you knowing if your flirty comments actually meant anything.
But in reality, Kuroo had fallen for you years ago, but his self conscious young self didn't know how to cope with it outside of being playful. But right now, not only his confidence grew significantly, but he also was 100% sure that he wanted to date you.
So he did a bunch of research of how to do it, he didn't want it to be over the top, but he also didn't want to be bland about it; so he didn't hesitate when he found the perfect idea online.
He went to his local flower shop and buy a 100 roses, blue ones to be exact, before writing in a piece of paper and heading to your place.
When you open the door you were greeted with a bunch of flowers, that's if it wasn't because the owner is basically a giant, it works look when more ridiculous that it already does. You look up to Kuroo’s eyes, confusion clear in your face.
“Wha- why? Eh?” is all you could mutter, making him chuckle
“May I come in?” you nod as if you were talking out of a trance, moving to letting him in and walking toward the living room “here, this is for you princess”
You took the flowers or of his hands, still amazed by the amount of them. You notice the paper that was in between some, so you left the roses in the table and take it out and reading it out loud “You’re a 100 times more beautiful than these 100 roses? Really?”
“Too cheesy?” he asks with his lopsided grin
“Just a little, could be worse…do you mean this Tetsu?”
“I always mean what I say princess”
“Always? Even when you…”
“Yes, I meant every word that I said to you, every time I tell you how wonderful you are, every time that I tell you how pretty you are, I meant every single time I flirt with you”
“Oh gosh, you could have told me sooner, you idiot” you move to hide your face on his chest
“Well, I can be your idiot if you take me”
“Ok then, be my idiot” you smooch your face even more when you feel his lips on top of your head “what do we do now?”
“I have a few ideas, but let's start with this” he took your cheeks on his hands, kissing you lovingly. He finally has you.

If you're comfortable, could you do an asexual!reader confessing to H about their sexuality? If you're not comfortable that's fine :)
sorry this took me so long! i am not as well-versed about asexuality as i am with others on the lgbtqia+ scale, but i tried to do a little research beforehand, so hopefully i do all my ace readers justice (did i use that right? lol)
this is an au :))

You and Harry were driving home after a date. Your fourth date to be exact.
The boy from your chemistry class asked you out with a note slid across a lab table, and you thought his curly hair and dimples were cute, so you said yes.
And he was everything a gentleman should be—paid for your movie ticket, held the door open, pulled your chair out when you finally went to a restaurant. He was kind and funny and a little dorky, but you were okay with that because you were too. It was how you'd become friendly in class. He saw the pins on your backpack from your favorite movie franchise and asked you about it, and you talked about it all through class and into your lunch period.
For all intents and purposes, Harry was the perfect boyfriend, though you hadn't put a label on anything yet. But there was just one problem.
You knew that as a teenager, you were expected to like certain things or act a certain way. Girls in your grade giggled with hushed tones about losing virginities and figuring out what they liked and didn't like; classmates fawned over celebrities and spoke dramatically about wanting to rip their clothes off and do all sorts of blush-inducing things to them.
You knew that this was how people your age were supposed to act, but you didn't. You thought a celebrity was cute, or felt envious when some girls started to have boyfriends and girlfriends, but you never had any...sexual desires.
At first, you chalked it up to you just not being as mature in that department. When you first started high school, you weren't the only one who didn't have a boyfriend or went "boy crazy" as your dad liked to call it. You just watched your shows and movies and blogged about them online. But now you were eighteen, and you still hadn't felt the urge to have sex with anyone. That is, you weren’t sexually attracted to anyone. You felt the urge to do things, but never with anyone. You didn't look at a celebrity or a classmate or people at the grocery store and wonder what it would be like, it was as if you were indifferent to all of that.
And then Harry asked you on a date, and you were so excited. You thought that this was it. It wasn't that something was wrong with you, you just needed to find the right person to have those feelings for. You were picky, that's all.
But after a few dates, you still didn't feel it, which was confusing because you really liked Harry. He gave you butterflies and you liked that you had so much in common. He was attractive, that wasn't up for debate, but you just didn't feel any kind of sexual desire for him. You made out a couple of times in his car, but even that was minimally enjoyable for you, but mostly because your head was always creating scenarios in which you would have to do things you weren't ready for.
You remembered before your first date how your older sister explained what she called "the rush." "You just feel it all over, and then, I don't know, it centers, you know, down there. It helps when having sex, but make sure there's foreplay. The rush won't be enough for your first time. Or the next. It really depends on the guy."
You liked Harry, but you didn't get "the rush." After your third date and kissing him in his car, you did extensive research, and to put it plainly: you were bone dry.
Was it medical? Did you just see Harry as a friend? Would this last forever? You were terrified about what this meant for the future. You knew how babies were made, and even at eighteen, you knew you wanted them eventually. What if you got married, and you were still bone dry and rushless?
All of this was going through your head as Harry drove you over to his house. You'd gone mini golfing, and towards the end, he said his mom was out with friends, his dad was on a business trip, and his sister was away at college. He had the whole house to himself, and he wanted you to come over.
It didn't take extensive research to know what he was hoping to do, even if he didn't say it explicitly.
And when you finally made it to his room, sat down on his bed, and he held your face in his hand, you closed your eyes and tried so hard, if not for yourself then for Harry. Anytime he kissed you, he did it with so much passion, like he was genuinely enjoying it. You wondered what that felt like. To not be so caught up in your own insecurities and self-doubt to enjoy something so simple like kissing someone you liked on his bed.
Objectively speaking, you thought he was good at it, though. It did nothing for you, but you thought he used the right amount of tongue and his lips were nice and soft, and he always had a gentle grip on your face. Any other girl would be lucky to kiss him, maybe even do more, but you just couldn't feel it. That desire to do more. All you wanted to do was stop.
You almost let him go through with it, thinking that maybe you just needed to get it over with, but as Harry's fingers undid the button on your jeans and began to creep down, you couldn't do it anymore.
"Stop. Please stop."
Thankfully, Harry immediately retracted his hand and stopped kissing you. "Sorry, I should've asked first," he said, inching away from you on his bed to give you space.
"I—I don't want to have sex with you," you blurted, standing up from the bed and putting more distance between the two of you.
"Um...okay?" Harry said, clearly feeling awkward and a little hurt by your blunt tone.
You wanted to comfort him, to explain that it wasn't just him, that you were pretty sure it was everyone. But you were too embarrassed, too freaked out by your abnormal feelings.
"Please take me home."
"Sure. Of course."
Harry took you home, and neither of you said a word the whole way. You could tell he wanted to, though. But you couldn't bear to say anything, worried that your frayed nerves would make you throw up. So you stayed silent, not once looking in Harry's direction.
"I'll see you tomorrow—"
You were out of the car and running up the steps to your house before you could hear the rest, trying to hide the fact that tears were slipping down your cheeks.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
At school the next day, you dreaded seeing Harry. You considered skipping, but you couldn't come up with a good enough excuse for your mom to believe, so you shouldered your bag and went.
Harry offered you a small smile from his seat at the lab table, but all you could do was look at him before turning away from him as much as you could in your seat. As class went on, you drowned out the sound of your teacher's lecture, perfectly aware of Harry sitting next to you. You felt like you couldn't breathe, your mind playing last night over and over and over again.
Then your computer pinged with a message from your school's instant messaging app. It was from Harry.
Harry Styles: can we talk?
Y/n Y/l/n: sure
Harry Styles: im sorry if i made u uncomfortable last night. i think i jumped the gun a little
Y/n Y/l/n: its ok
Harry Styles: no. i didnt ask if u wanted to. thats on me
Y/n Y/l/n: its...not just u
Harry Styles: what do u mean?
You sighed. Were you really about to tell him the truth? At least it was easier to do it over text.
Y/n Y/l/n: idk. i've just like never wanted to have sex before
Harry Styles: ever?
Y/n Y/l/n: no
Y/n Y/l/n: i know im a freak
Harry Styles: youre not. everyone is ready at different times
He was being so nice, but he wasn't getting it. And neither did you until you had this conversation, until you spelled it out for someone else. Sighing, your fingers moved across your keyboard, hitting send before you could take the words back.
Y/n Y/l/n: and what if im never ready? what if i just don't want to?
You stopped messaging after that and left class the second the bell rang, not wanting Harry to try and talk to you in person. You hid from him during lunch and avoided his texts on your phone. You just needed to be alone.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
That weekend you were at home, watching football on TV with your dad while your mom made quesadillas for lunch. You were half watching players run across a field, half drifting off to sleep, which meant you didn't hear anyone knock on your front door or feel the couch move as your dad stood up to answer it. When he came back, he nudged your shoulder gently. "It's for you, kiddo."
Curiously, you walked over to the front door, freezing in your tracks when you saw Harry just outside waiting for you.
"Hi."
"Hi."
You didn't know what else to say. You were sure he'd leave you alone after avoiding him all week, but here he was.
"I've been thinking about what you said in that message," he said out of the blue.
You felt nervous all of a sudden. Why was he here? Hadn't things been awkward enough?
"Oh. I mean, I guess I just assumed we were broken up because of what happened in your room, but if you wanted to do it in person, I guess that's—"
"No, you're not understanding me," he said, looking at you funny for drawing that conclusion, but what were you supposed to think? He clearly wanted sex, you didn't, end of story. "I—Can we sit down?"
You nodded, motioning for him to sit on the porch swing. You joined him, but kept your distance and looked down at your hands folded in your lap.
"Like I told you, I thought about what you said, and it got me thinking about this article my sister made my family read after she came out as bi. It just kind of explained all the different...things, I guess."
"Things?" you asked.
"Yeah, like, gay, bisexual, lesbian. She said that now that a member of our family was part of the lgbtq community, we had to be well versed, so she gave us homework, and I—I remembered this."
Harry reached into his backpack, which was when you realized he brought it with him. An easy mistake to make when you tried your hardest not to look at someone.
He pulled out stapled packets of paper, all of which came out to a hefty stack. "Have you ever heard of asexuality?"
You shook your head. It sounded familiar, but you were ashamed to admit that you weren't as knowledgeable about all of this as Harry seemed to be.
"Well, according to this, it's when someone experiences little to no sexual attraction," he said, handing over his first packet.
You flipped through it briefly, reading bolded titles like "Facts about Asexuality" and "Sexuality is a Specturm" and "Many asexual people desire and have romantic relationships." But before you could read more, Harry was handing you another packet.
"And there's a spectrum obviously. Like you could want to have sex, but not be sexually attracted to someone, or someone could not feel the need to have a sexually intimate relationship, but might have sex with someone on occasion. It’s a little more complicated than how I’m explaining it, but it’s all in there. Does this...resonate with you at all?"
Did it? You kept leafing through all of Harry's research, trying to determine if this was how you felt. Some of it definitely did resonate with you, like not being sexually attracted to someone. You were curious about sex, but you thought it was merely clinical because you couldn't think of anyone to do it with. You were okay with flying solo, though, and that was fine for the time being.
You didn't say anything to Harry while you read through some of the packets. Part of you had been worried that you'd never be able to fall in love, or that no one would be able to fall in love with you, but that didn't seem to be the case. The longer you read, the more you felt seen, felt hope in the fact that you weren't alone in this, that other people loved and experienced sex and lived normal lives despite where they fell on a spectrum.
Tears welled in your eyes all of a sudden. You were overwhelmed by all of the information and part of you connecting with the words of the page in front of you, but part of you was also touched that Harry went out of his way to help you understand something about yourself you didn't. He could've just moved on, found someone else to be with, but he cared about you enough to help you make sense of your feelings.
“I—Yes, thank you,” you said quietly when you realized you hadn’t said anything in a while.
“Are you okay?” Harry asked. “I know it probably wasn’t my place to bring all of this to you, but I just wanted to help—”
You cut him off by hugging him, tucking your cheek against the soft material of his t-shirt. This you could do, you started to realize. You liked when you held his hand or when he hugged you, but you’d been so worried about anything leading to more it ruined all the other stuff, you couldn't enjoy it as much before.
Harry was hesitant to wrap his arms around you, but he eventually did, pulling you closer and squeezing you tight. It felt nice being close to Harry like this, but you wondered what this new discovery of yours meant for you and him. He probably wanted to be with someone sexually attracted to him, someone more willing to satisfy whatever needs he might have, and you weren’t sure that was you. In your brief glance at the papers in your hands, people who were asexual didn’t just never have sex, but you wouldn’t be anytime soon. Not until you figured yourself out more.
But did what you need line up with what Harry wanted?
Pulling away so you could look at him better, you said, “Thank you. For everything. I know that not many people would go out of their way to do all this.”
“You’re welcome. No one should go through life feeling like they don’t belong, least of all in high school.”
“I, um, I suppose this means that we’re, you know, not together anymore,” you said, trying to broach the subject as best you could.
To your surprise, Harry looked at you confused. “What are you talking about?”
You shrugged, trying to appear more nonchalant than you felt. “I just, you know, figured you would want to date someone who was ready or wanted to—”
“Y/n,” Harry said gently. He placed a hand on your knee, but it was more so to get your attention back on him than anything else. “I didn’t ask you out because I wanted to have sex with you. I asked because I like you.”
“You do?” you couldn’t help but ask. “Even if I’m...asexual?” The word felt foreign on your tongue, but it felt right too.
“Of course. Your sexuality is part of what makes you you. It doesn’t change how I feel about you.”
His words made you feel giddy. You weren’t sure when or if you’d be ready for sex, but you still really liked him, and the fact that he seemed to know you in a way no one else did made you feel even closer to him.
“So what now?” you asked.
Harry chanced holding your hand, and you let him, your hands fitting against each other’s perfectly. “We go slow. I feel awful about crossing so many of your boundaries the other night, and I don’t want to make that same mistake again. If you’re ever ready or comfortable enough with me to take that next step with me, we can, but for right now I’m happy to just hold your hand. And possibly kiss your cheek from time to time.”
How was he so perfect? It was then that you found yourself wanting to do more, to be more, if only for Harry’s sake. That would come with time, or maybe it wouldn’t, but Harry seemed content to wait with and for you, and even more content should you not want to do anything remotely sexual with him at all.
“I’d really like that,” you said, and taking a chance, you kissed his cheek.
There was still a lot of learning to do, and a lot more self-discovery to go, but one little kiss to express your appreciation felt fitting, and you wanted to do it. You wanted Harry, just not in the same way other people might have.
You blushed when Harry held his cheek on the very spot you kissed him. And when he regained his composure, he opened his arms up for you to snuggle up against.
It was the perfect way to end this afternoon, having Harry hold you on the porch swing while he swayed you back and forth until you eventually fell asleep. A perfect perfect day with a perfect perfect boy.

Ok so my hyper fixation on aphmau has sparked u again, I've decided to share my little Au with the world because my friends are getting tired of hearing about a minecraft roleplay from... oh god it's been that long? Jeez.
Anyway here is what I'm changing about the base cannon of mystreet before I throw in any crazy AUs like Ein being a decent person and living with Aph and Sylvanna during S2 of PDH or mystreet Dante getting stuck in MCD when everyone ditched him.
So I don't know I can fit my whole four years worth of brain rot in one post so we are going to start with the big blaring walking red flag himself Aaron.
What needs to change?
So so muck For starters, apparently, Aphmau needed to listen to sylvannas internet safety lectures a bit more because SHE STILL GIVES A STRANGER HER ACTUAL PHONE NUMBER!!! Sorry sorry this is a post about Aaron not how nieve aphmau is.
Anyway the guys 18 and is dating aphmau who is probably 14/15. This guy is going off to college in a year and aphmau still talks her stuffed cat and hides in a closet before her first day of high school.
Also at first I defended Aaron becouse I thought he just didn't know how old she was when they were strangers texting each other but they have a whole conversation about how nervous she is ABOUT HER FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL! Sorry again 😔 but if I was Aaron and I found out that the person I was talking to was actually a young girl who was probably fourteen or fifteen (younger actually since they've known each other and have been texting for atleast a couple months) and knowing that I am seventeen or eighteen would break it off and probably unfriend them not keep texting them about it and then start to ask them to reveal there real name.
Then there's the whole like ultima thing I know it wasn't actually written in until like season 4 of mystreet but I have a question 🤔 if darek knew what kind of life was in store for his son having the curse if he feels so bad about having to isolate his son if he knew the curse is a possibility why have him? Why risk have biological children? Or why not stop after milisasa since for some reason the curse only effects the males of a blood line. (You're telling Me the lycan family has never had an all female generation? Is the curse just dormant in females?) I'm changing that we need to change dark put him on the list right above Sylvanna but under KC.
There's also like why are you the alpha of the werewolf pack? Like I get it in highschool but after in season five? You don't know anything about the culture and Daniel ran the highschool pack for four years you don't have to be the alpha now? I genuinely think that was from Jason wanting his self insert to be the ' powerful hot alpha oc trademark do not steal'
So how an I gonna fix this?
Well we are going to start with Aaron's age, He's aphmaus age or well hes sixteen but so were Garothand Laurence. Plane and simple hes sixteen hes a softmore who was homeschooled is life becouse of his secret ultima curse. He does switch schools temporarily for S2 of PHD becouse dark was worried about how frequently Aaron was loosing control and how he still hadn't had a grasp on the curse, I'm gonna get to that hold tight.
That leads me into my next fix how Aph and Aaron met! They were put in the same online schooling class because Rachel is a bissness major, and Sylvanna is the type of mom to make you cry when she helps you study for your spelling bee (she loves her daughter but she does not have enogh patients to be a teacher.) Anyway they meet in the online class and find out they're both into the same things including a popular Online game and being lonely homeschooled kids latch onto each other, (I would imagine that Aaron went under a different name for the homeschooling program since he can't have the media tracking him down or asking questions y'know?) Then once they get to the age were they have phones reluctantly trade Instagram (aph made a separamount. Just for talking to Aaron and not posting pics because her mom follows her mian and Aaron makes his very first acount and only follows aph who goes by Shu on that account.)
Now to fix the lycann family.
Let's start with the curse, like I said makes no sense as to why Dark still had kids with Rachel biological when he Knew what his kids would go through. So the ultima curse effects all offspring male or female and it isn't usually as strong as Aaron's. In my head not being able to control there eyes was grown out of around five years old to seven years old and then there eyes stop turning red without wanting them to they still pose the danger it's just not that hard to control. It's like potty training they learn as they grow up. But for whatever reason Aaron never really grew out of the uncontrollable eyes thing, infact they were almost always red when he was young. This scared Darek who grew up on these stories about what will happen to them if the curse is ever discovered in they're family blood line, (which is why they still hide that they're werewolves.)
Aaron lived his life in solitude while millisa got to go out and experience the world she got to go the boarding schools in Germany and go with mom and dad on they're business trips while he stayed in they're house in falcon claw with either one of his parents or trusted staff. (This is not how millisa sees it BTW but we'll talk about her later.
I hope you enjoyed my brain dump.

i feel that online neurodivergent circles dont talk nearly enough about the experience of being people's charity project. i call it that for lack of a better term - it happens a lot including with other disabled people, and it's that thing where NT/able-bodied people around you hang out with you out of pity, or a sense of self-importance ("look how kind-hearted i am, hanging out with someone who has a disability/is seen as a weirdo by most people!")
as an autistic person who wasn't even *called* autistic for a good few years (my parents insisted on the term aspie and not autistic, and i had a bit of a late diagnosis), i had this happen to me all the time in middle school. and these pity-fueled relationships never lasted. they're not born from friendship, they're born from a need to be charitable. "that weird kid will be happy and i'll be looked favourably at for being so brave to hang out with them! win-win!"
since nothing ever lasted for me i started, naturally, to think i was the problem. i was 12, people told me i was weird and annoying before walking out on me, i thought i was fated to be alone. (for an example, once i missed a social cue pretty badly, and it weirded one of those charitable NT girls out so much she sent me a twitter message telling me to stop hanging out, apologised, and blocked me, planning to give me no closure before i went and asked what the hell happened)
it brought me a great deal of other problems but i'm already being too oversharey. the point is: because i was stuck in this cycle of NT kid pities me cuz i'm alone -> starts to hang out with me -> realises i'm a handful -> leaves, i was thinking woah. i kinda suck, right?
but of course i didn't suck! i found that out in high school - i found an actual friend group that took me in and invited me to parties. i remember once in 11th grade, at one of these parties, i asked the "leader" of that group, of sorts, why the hell i was still kept around. like, everyone had walked out on me before, what's the deal? haven't you gotten all your brownie points from hanging out with the autist? ain't you tired of how weird i am yet?
i got a simple answer.
"i keep you around because i like you, that's it."
that was a first for me!
looking back i realise i never was invited to any parties by the people who pitied me. i wasn't *that* kind of friend. maybe i wasn't even a friend. but these guys that took me in, they actually hung out with me! we went to parties, we bought trinkets at the mall, they sent me best wishes in my graduation, the mom of one of them gave me a recipe for her gingerbread cake because i'd loved it so much! i still talk to a good amount of them even though most of us are in college now, and the closest two attended my 20th birthday party :-)
i dunno what the bottom line is here, honestly, and this whole thing has been sitting in my drafts for a while. maybe i thought it was too personal. it is, but maybe i thought i'd give some insight to whatever NT people that access this blog (i do not expect there to be many, but hi) into what building a strong relationship with ND or otherwise disabled people entails. we don't want your pity. we've gotten enough of that for a lifetime, and it's dehumanising to a point we become little toys for people who know they can just stop hanging out if we're too off-putting.
when you treat someone like a person, they're happy... who knew?

deeper than love (3) ao3 link <-
he can only be so successful, you know
kinda short, not a lot of action sorry !!
warnings: incest, noncon, yeah...
you were a brave freshman, taking on high school by yourself- shig graduated a few years back. he was... supposed to be in college by now, but that's okay. everyone goes at their own pace. it was your first day!
"c-come on, shig-nii, i'm gonna be late again!" you whined, holding desperately onto the edge of the bed. you threw your head back when your brother's dick slid inside you quite forcefully- ah when was it not?
"shut the fuck uuuup, dude." he slapped a hand over your mouth, slowly thrusting in and out. god he loved the feeling, nothing topped it. no other girl felt as good as you ever did. he can't believe he's been getting away with it for so long, all the credit has to go to your parents. they shelter you enough as is, they didn't want you to end up like your failure fuck-up older brother, so they force you to bedtime and the only place you can be by yourself is at school after your loving brother drops you off everyday.
the same loving, caring, amazing brother who has been training you to be his personal free-use toy for... hm, a long, long time. he cums in your mouth before school, calls it your energy boost. he convinced you breakfast wasn't that important- just like food in general. he wanted you small and frail forever. might as well engrain an eating disorder into you too while he was at it.
he slapped your cute little butt after he shoved you out his rank, dirty car. you watched him speed off, hearing the bass from his music trail off when he got to the end of the street. you sighed, limping up the steps to class.
"today my presentation is about sexual assault." your peer stood in front of the class nervously, what a mature topic!!
"sexual assault is non-consensual sexual acts..." cue giggling from your class and a shush from your teacher. "sexual assault is usually done by someone you know- a friend, a family member, or another adult you may know."
wow, what kind of friend or family member would do something against your will?
"the sibling incest rape rates in the country are as follows,"
you furrowed your eyebrows.
you raised your hand, perfectly clipped and manicured nails, because your brother wanted you cute and clean at all times, especially if your hand was gonna be around his dick a lot.
"y/n, question?" your teacher smiled. she was glad someone was being respectful.
"so, this is bad to you?" you quirked your head. the whole class fell silent. your teacher looked bewildered. "my brother rapes me all the time, he told me it's completely normal and good!"
your teacher scrambled to the phone, the whole class still quiet.
ever since that day, you've been stuck in therapy sessions three times a week and constantly monitored. shigaraki no longer lived with the family anymore. you had to move schools, no one could forget that day and cruel students liked to make sure no one else did.
"you could fuck y/n, she let her brother hit." boys would bet on it, others were disgusted at the thought.
"i feel bad, but how could you not know that it was wrong! i was there when she told the class- she was all like-" girls avoided you.
at this point, you were more depressed about all the bullying and assumptions than the trauma you actually endured. a few years went by- it was a lonely few years. your brother surely wasn't that bad the whole time, right?
you knocked at his door- you spent very little time finding where he lived. thank god they posted the addresses of registered sex offenders online. your parents were probably getting ready to tear apart the entire neighborhood looking for you, then kill themselves when they realized where you really were.
the door creaked open, revealing an arm, and shoulder, neck, half body- hair- face.
bags under his eyes, stubble, platinum blue dyed hair. the dark eyes, piercing through you.
"y/n?" his voice was so much deeper.
"hi, big brother."
you pushed open the door, pressing the taser mom bought you into his stomach. he fell over without a sound, spazzing a bit on the floor. you jabbed it in his side for good measure, watching his body writhe.
you got to work tying up his wrists behind his back. he was still super skinny, and his place was filthy. his computer was still on, the fans of the pc whirring loudly, blue illuminating the dark corner of his room, tempting you. as a kid, you always wanted to know what he was typing so furiously away at.
he groaned, looking up at you through his bangs. his eyes flicked to the computer, then back to you.
your mouth went dry, heart heavy. he was even more disgusting than you ever perceived. this was who he was? "you're sick, shigaraki."
you crouched down to his level, his eyes quickly darted between your legs, looking at your panties through your dark tights. you smacked him hard, making him gasp out.
"you really can't help yourself, huh?" you wanted to cry.
"you really shouldn't be here, y/n. go home. mom and dad'll kill you."
you frowned, standing up again. your fingers shook, delicate. you lifted your school skirt up by the hems, his lips quivering open and eyes trailing back down to your bottom half. you revealed yourself to him, like old times.
"do you really want me to leave so soon, shig-nii?"

In honor of my latest bad date, I thought it would be fun to let y'all choose the worst date I've ever been on
Also here's additional context for all of them:
He also couldn't carry a conversation and I had to do all of the social interaction work. However, after the date I went to H-Mart and had a lovely interaction with a gorgeous girl and was able to buy Korean corn dogs. This date happened today.
He at least could hold a conversation. Not a good conversation but the bar is low.
This happened when I was young and I have since become much, much better at establishing boundaries. He also saw a look inside my roommates room, saw a bunch of American flags, and asked "is your roommate a staunch republican." She is very much not a republican. She's left-leaning, she just loves her country and wants it to be better.
I actually kind of liveblogged this happening in real time. The link should take you to the first post about it. I hope.
One of my first online datse. Again, I have since learned how to establish boundaries and I would 100% leave a date like that now.
About 2ish weeks after I turned him down, he texted me to complain about him constantly getting rejected
He is single-handedly the reason I hate the "be persistent and get the love interest" trope. You've been rejected. Move on. He also tried to kiss me a few times even after getting rejected. He messaged me out of nowhere years and years later to inform me that he was doing his dream job and also he had a girlfriend now. Good for you dude, I didn't ask.
This was a second or third date but I like paying for myself and I am broke-ish sooooo not great. Also this is on me but I didn't realize until the end of the date but my jeans were unbuttoned the whole time.
OKAY. This wasn't my date but I was on it for...reasons I guess. So in high school, this dude liked my friend and asked her out and she didn't like him but she was also desperate for a boyfriend. She did not want to be alone with him on the date though (not for safety reasons but just to have someone else there to help their social interactions I guess?). This is a guy that had previously asked me out about a year prior but I turned down and he graciously accepted and moved on. We went to see what my friend thought was going to be a romcom but ended up being a tragedy and my friend was pissed, though I really liked it. Anyway they dated for a little bit after that.
This is actually not my story but @heretherebedork who let me use his for a nice, even 10 options. This dude is a piece of work and that happened after they'd technically broken up. But apparently he said that Francis needed to be more feminine if he wanted to keep dating him. Seriously what the fuck is that?
