So I'm not like an anti, I would never send death threats or anything to people but I do wonder if there is something to be said about perpetuating the sexualization of teenagers through fanart/fanfic? I recognize that that is a cultural issue, and I recognize that sexualizing fictional teens is not on the same level as sexualizing real teens, but it still perpetuates the concept. Even if society has normalized something, it's worth fighting back against it in smaller ccommunities.1/2

This isn't to say that people should be harassing others, nor is it to say that I think proship are child predators. I think there's a lot of reasons why someone might like a character that doesn't equate to them wanting to harm real people. I do think we have a responsibility to discuss these things in fandom. While fandom itself isn't activism, pushing back against concepts like homophobia has always been an important aspect of fandom. Fetishizing youth is a problem & should be critiqued. 2/2

Okay, first of all, we've had this conversation about a billion times. The fact that you're still stuck at a 101 level does not make this new territory.

Second, where do you think YA fiction comes from? It's not written by teenagers. Lots of authors like to reminisce about their teen years. It's not about an older person being horny for teens. It's about remembering being that age.

Third, you might have no libido, but I was a horny little demon as a teen. It wasn't about ~fetishization~. Wanting to fuck was a normal part of my teen experience and the teen experiences of everyone around me. I didn't manage to get laid until 16 because I was a mega loser, but I'd have gone for it at 14.

Hello! I’m Key, and this is my commission sheet! All of the necessary information for commissioning me is here, and I’d appreciate it if you could take a look before shooting me a message! Here is my Ao3 For Reference!

GUIDELINES

Please read my Will Not Write section thoroughly. Just because something is on the list doesn’t mean that I dislike or don’t support it, but there are things on that list that I just don’t have enough interest in writing. That said, things on my Will Write list do not inherently mean that I support or like it.

Currently, the only fandoms listed that I will write for are Final Fantasy VII, and Hellaverse (Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss). This is because they are both hyperfixations for me and I am more capable of writing for them without issue.

I will allow up to three edits of less than 300 words before those incur a fee. If I interpreted your prompt wrong entirely, please let me know. If the confusion was on my part, no fee for a total rewrite will be incurred.

Please message me before filling out the form for a commission. I’d like to discuss particulars about certain topics and things and I’d like to approve the commission beforehand.

If given artistic freedom for a prompt, I will write how I naturally write the characters. I am willing to take direction for how you want characters to be written. I would prefer not to go against canon to the point of completely erasing a character’s identity. This does not count for certain kink scenarios (Bimbofication and other mind-altering things).

This is a proship and kink-friendly account. By proship, I mean that I will not harass others over their fictional tastes and I do not support harassing anyone for any reason. I will write things that will make you uncomfortable. I will write things that are dead dove: do not eat. I will write a whole host of things and if that upsets you, please find someone else to commission.

I predominantly write romance, smut, fluff, and angst, but can try my hand at other genres.

I do not mind aging characters up for smut, and I will write any manner of ship type from m/f, m/m/, f/f, to polyamory. Please keep in mind that a fee will incur for more than 4 characters in a ship per every 1k words. If your ship includes 6 people then I will require at least 1,500 words minimum to write them. Smut for that many will be over 2,000 words easily.

For prompts, I will accept up to five words, two sentences, or a small paragraph of what you would like for me to write. Please try to be as concise as possible.

I will not start your commission until the upfront $15 for the first 500 words is paid. Once that is paid, I will begin and you will only be charged for the rest once the fic is completely finished and edited. I tend to add 100+ words to things in the editing process, as a heads-up. Payment can be made via PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp.

Again with this whole Vivziepop shit (sorry)

People are learning about her being a terrible person for the wrong reasons. People use her media as proof that she’s shitty without talking about any of the ways she treats real people. I’m getting really pissed off by this.

I don’t give a fuck if she thinks abuse is cute in fiction. I don’t care that she made two pedophile characters. I could care so much less that one of those characters is a shape shifter and Vivzie drew soft core porn of said character with another one (god, if it’s not a fucking animal and it’s just a human being taking to form of one, don’t compare that to zoophilia. It’s not real regardless). I don’t care that people don’t like the way abuse was depicted in either of her shows. I’m so sickened by the fact that people (mostly younger people) think they are bad people for watching either shows, and genuinely asking internet strangers if they are bad people for not knowing and/or simply like the shows. I especially don’t like how people are using the people she’s hired to work on the shows against her. Some of them are proship, and Vivzie has been known to have a few proship friends. I don’t care what labels people use. I don’t care that she’s associated with proshippers, it’s not that deep. And if they do get off to xyz “bad” fiction, it didn’t appear in the shows. It’s not romanticized or fetishized or any other buzz word. It’s not that deep.

Please, for the love of god, if you want to talk about how her fiction makes her a not great person. Then talk about the voodoo shit. Talk about how her “black rep” characters are piss poor at best, and harmful stereotypes at worst. Talk about how she has a habit of creating characters basted on real life people that she knows, and actively disliked (all of which that I know of were minorities), only for them to be the butt of every joke and shown in a bad light in some way. Talk about how the characters that are meant to represent biblical figures are fucking white.

If you really want to show me how Vivzie is a bad person, and show the rest of the world how shitty she is. Please talk about her transphobia, homophobia, racism, and antisemitism. Talk about how she treated her VAs for the pilot, only to replace the with Broadway VAs. Talk about how she underpays her animators. And that’s on top of over working them! Talk about how she throws fits and actively ignores any sort of criticism of concerns of controversy because she has a mentality that anyone who dislikes her or her work are simply “haters” who are out to get her. (I will say, she has been harassed in the past, and I don’t agree with that. It’s not deserved, under any circumstances. But not everyone who has something remotely negative to say is engaging in harassment)

I keep going off about this, am I do apologize because I’m sick of it just as some of y’all are. I’m just so fed the fuck up with this whole thing, and I’m tired of the purity culture bullshit making people aware of the wrong reasons to dislike Vivzie. It’s gross and nobody wants to talk about the real stuff she’s done, only the fiction she’s produced

The Basics: (or the General Info)

This blog serves to be a more creative way for me to share all of the ideas that I had planned out for the Rockers, along with some other guys, mainly following a story-esque format that follows their "backstory" and how they had originally met up to become the well known rock duo they are now!

Following up on the text above, just to clarify and put it straight, the blog will not start out with the both of them right away, and will likely follow the perspective of one or the other.

While there will be art for a bunch of the asks, especially for standard posts that are needed to progress the story, I cannot guarantee that there will be something drawn for each ask, though I do wish to try and do so. That applies to whether it's a colored sketch, actual drawing, a simple doodle, etc.

Some characters may have different names than some that may be commonly used as a fan-name from the fandom, the main case of this going to Student (name being Jamie.)

This whole blog's going to be a headcanon fest, considering how a majority of this is me making shit up for the most part, so please keep that in mind if you see different portrayals for one thing or another.

Additional Notes:

If you are running another character-based blog, it is completely alright to interact with this account! Just keep in mind that this is technically taking place in the past, which means that any asks that are sent that mention anything that could be in regards to any present matters /foreshadows anything about the Rockers will likely be ignored.

While it may not be prevalent for the long run start of this blog, I do ship the Rockers together, and would probably come up at some point very later on when the time comes, so be weary of that if you don't like the ship and such.

This blog is only being run by me, myself and I ( @submaskudari ), so things might be a bit slow depending on the situation.

I will also answer asks that are out of character for those who wish to know anything from me specifically ^_^

Unless there is only one character that's available for asks, please specify who you are sending an ask towards, otherwise it may be pushed back out of confusion.

Morality this, morality that- Aging up character is this, my controversial opinion is that-

Now that I have your attention babes.

I know I said I'm not up for discourse in fandoms, but like this aging up thing is becoming getting irritating. Everyone is talking about how it's wrong to age up characters and how you're weird for sexualizing fictional characters at all in the first place. I've seen 18 year olds and grown ass adults making fun of some cosplayers who were having fun by recreating Nanami's hairpulling and saying it was cringe and I only have one question:

Why?

Why the fuck is any of this your fucking business? If you hate proshipping, if you hate aging characters up, if you hate furries, if you hate cosplayers being "cringe", that's on you, but why the FUCK do you want to make this everyone's problem?

What someone does with a fictional character is sure as hell none of your fucking business. A fictional character is a concept and no matter how grossed out or repulsed you are about people being weird, you have to remember it's in the realm of FICTION. I know I write dark shit to cope sometimes, but what I write and what I do for fun is not a reflection of who I am.

I know I find proshipping weird. I fucking HATE bakudeku and their shippers (they said something that made me absolutely rule them out as sane). I hate NaruSasu. I hate incest tropes in fiction. I don't like daddy kink. But these are ME things. I don't make it anyone else's issues. I don't tell people to never write shit or talk about shit that I find weird. Because I practice something called "SCROLLING THE FUCK AWAY AND MINDING MY OWN FUCKING BUSINESS"

The real top 5 issues we should be concerned about in fandoms are:

1. RACISM

2. HOMOPHOBIA, TRANSPHOBIA

3. MISOGYNY

4. Grooming of minors

5. Cyberbullying

If you're really on a FUCKING moral high horse, then these are a few of the problems that affect the real human beings in fandom. And if you're even on a HIGHER moral high horse and wanna protect the kids, try lobbying for your country to increase the age of consent and putting an end to child marriage. As a CSA survivior, I would REALLY love if people put all their energy into lobbying to increase jail time for child m*lesters instead of caring about pixels because it pisses me tf off that people care more about fictional characters and never EVER do anything for kids suffering the same fate.

TLDR: Mind your fucking business and put your energy into solving real life problems.

DSaF Discord RP: Back to Beginnings

Plot

The Henry fight went awry and he managed to get away. It seems the majority of the cast is back and we're back to the beginning.

Things to Note

- THIS RP IS RUN BY MINORS

- OCs are allowed (as long as they have something to do with DSaF and can actually make sense in the realm).

- This RP is semi-serious. We aren’t going to run this like a bootcamp but there will be serious parts and of course not-so-serious parts.

- Ships are allowed (OC x Canon, Canon x Canon, and OC x OC). For OC x Canon please ask beforehand as to much sure we're okay with it. For OC x OC if the other OC isn't yours please make sure the other person is okay with it.

- This RP allows darker subjects, of course there are still limits. If you’re unsure if what you want is to dark just ask.

- This is a CLOSED RP, we have to be selective to get the types of roleplayers we’re looking for. So as much as it may suck we can’t guarantee you’ll get in

- You will need an RP example.

Rules

- No homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc- (Lets be honest if you’re a DSaF fan you’re probably not completely straight).

- This is a 14+ RP.

- If you’re playing a canon character please play them in character (as in think about how they would react, talk, act, etc- in canon). Straying away a little is fine but please try to keep them reasonably in line with how they'd act.

- Use quotes when talking in character.

- If you have anything BIG you want to contribute to the story please talk to the group first. There are some story choices that should be agreed upon before adding them to the story.

- Please have prior RP experience.

- Your character can not be OP. Having a strong character is fine but if they’re like unkillable or unreasonably hard to injure that's overpowered. Some DSaF character have abilities of sorts and anything to falls into that category and would make sense in DSaF is fine. But you may not have straight up super powers.

- Please for the love of god if you have an OC have some even a basic story for them.

- You may not control anyone else's character(s) other than your own.

- No fucked up ships. Pedo, incest, etc- If you’re doing Child x Child dead or not treat them like children. Things like kisses on the cheek, cuddling, and hugging would make sense. But they should not have an adult relationship

- Have at least decent grammar in the RP. Spelling mistakes are completely fine but we should be able to read and understand what you’re saying. Also use full words (ie no: ikr, ik, lol, etc-)

Hello all! I’ve decided that I’m due for updating my commissions info and lowering my prices, so here you go!

Base Sketches and Lineart

• Profile/headshot (shoulders up or higher): $5

Waist up: $10

Knees up: $15

Full body: $20

Full Color (can be in either black and white, monochromatic, or full color! Basically anything that fills in the lineart!)

Profile/headshot: $15

Anything overly NSFW or bordering on p*rnography

Anything with excessive blood or gore

Anything that is overly gross or involves k*nks and f*tishes

Anything promoting proshipping or the shipping of characters who are supposed to be children

about the pro shipping post you are so fucking right. when i was 16 i had proship dni on an aesthetic blog that i ran and i had multiple people harassing me for it over months. i've also had them call me ableist and homophobic slurs and sexually harass me when i was 16-18 for untagged unsearchable posts that they had to have scrolled back months in my blog to find. i was in a fandom at the time that had a LOT of people like that and there were many other people who got worse and had proshippers being wildly racist to them. they say curate your online experience and then throw a fit when you actually do.

Yeah, the proship movement has a tendency to harbor the absolute worst people in fandom circles and when you say "Hey if your movement is Truly Safe for victims/people of color /disabled folks/kids/etc then why the fresh sam hill fuck are you harboring Actual Racists, Actual Pedophiles, And Actual Horrible People" they take it as "kys lol go die" and not a request to Actually examine how their stances on something as terminally online as shipping discourse and the culture that it founded has sheltered these types of people.

And it's this inaction and refusal to address it in favour of perceiving it as a siege in a war that isn't actually happening (for lack of a better way to word it, no, people aren't out to get you they're asking you to examine your fucking community and WHY so many people feel unsafe around it aside from other reasons) is why I, and so many others, are in dislike of proshipping culture aside from. well. gestures wildly to the rest of it.

They take it as a blow to their egos rather than a genuine honest "Hey if what you ship Truly Is Inconsequential why does the culture you cultivate harbor, say, Actual Offending Pedophiles or Those Pedophiles That Label Themselves As "No-Contact" For Some Reason As If That Makes It Less Bad that are utilizing fandom space and proship culture as a quick and easy way to get targets within their reach?"

Side tangent/note here: Over the years many people have said that I cannot be pro-dark media and anti-proship. These things are not mutually exclusive and many, and I mean MANY people in circles focussing on dark and transgressive media are FULLY AWARE of the connection between reality and fiction (and how they both affect one another, the best way I can word it is that if you focus on one color pallet soon your world will be monochromatic, you gotta learn to focus on all the colors. If you saturate your life with too much "dark" or distressing content it will color your worldview and that is not what life is about) and often emphasize the importance of this distinction.

They also do not go out of their way to overly-romanticize the content they read (the public perception/general society's consumption of Lolita [vladimir nobokov] has been a disaster for the human race. if u think lolita is supposed to be a cute romance story you're misinterpreting the book and need to step back and examine just why you think that way and actually sit down and analyze the book and humbert as a character dear god stop turning it into a cutesy coquette aesthetic, shanespeare has a fucking amazing video talking about it and as an added bonus it's shorter than the typical 4+ hour video essays I often indulge in) as they often know better to do so and shun the people who do, ESPECIALLY when you're talking about books like The Slob (Aron Beauregard, even though that novel is essentially misogyny, homophobia, gore porn, a lot of fatphobia and shit like that and is all-around poorly written)

proshipping culture also relies a lot on a fanfic/fanart medium which is a VASTLY inappropriate place to explore these things (on top of, well, the type of people the culture has a tendency to attract n shit vs transgressive/dark media corners) and People Do Not Want To See Headcanons About Their Favourite Characters Being Rapists And Shit Like That I Promise You You Aren't "Coping" You're Just Making (some not all) People Around You Uncomfortable And Fucking Miserable Because You Decided That Their Comfort Character Is A Shotacon Or Some Shit (and that is before I get into how unless that character is canonically a piece of shit, making x character into a freak is a gross mischaracterization).

People come into fandoms for escapism, or to enjoy characters and stories with people and, yes I am speaking from personal experience here not only as ex-proship but also someone who's been 'round the block when it comes to fandoms.

There is a difference between transgressive lit i.e Lolita and someone writing a fanfic about a father/daughter relationship and not in the wholesome familial way we all know and love. That is knowing your place, understanding that fandom is a WILDLY inappropriate place to explore these things (seriously people, just write an original book! you got it in you clearly! i believe in you and maybe if you do it right you'll write something that's very touching and profound and opens up a lot of conversations!) and that fiction and reality do in fact impact and shape each other in more ways than you'd initially assume.

anyways rant/tangent over, sorry I went on for so long, I'm Very passionate about this discussion despite everything that's happened to me at the hands of it.

Info Post!!!

Hey! I'm Pie. My main account is @digitsofpie, and here is where I like to post sketches, art, and other such things about Spamton/the Addisons from Deltarune.

I usually will be posting sketches here and there, but I don't mind getting asks and requests! Some things to keep in mind, though:

First and foremost, absolutely no nsfw. Maybe like some vague jokes, but beyond that, nothing.

Also, nothing "proship" or "problematic." I don't condone that kind of thing on my other accounts and I don't condone it here.

I see the Addisons (including Spamton) as coworkers and friends, so occasionally they'll be shipped. I don't mind other interpretations, and if my interpretation makes you uncomfortable, you totally don't have to interact with me. But don't come to me seeing them as both siblings and dating. That's... just gross and why the hell would anyone do that if you could be doing literally anything else.

And of course no bigotry or anything like that. If I see people interacting who obviously express their racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, etc. you can expect a hard block.

Anyway, moving on, you might notice I sometimes make art in conjunction with a fic I'm writing. You can find my works here.

I kind of treat the Addisons like my own ocs (aaaaand they kind of Are at this point), so here are some headcanons I have for them so you can get to know them! Note that I have given them their own unique names, but in posts I will usually use just their common names (Pink, Orange, etc.) since I've reserved them mostly for the fic.

Pink Addison

Baker-Miller (Millie), he/they/she

Millie is very proud and self-centered, and they are one of the most popular and successful Addisons in Cyber City. She often speaks for and voices most of the opinions for the group, and because she's rather intimidating, she's not used to being opposed.

They specialize in shoes, jewelry, other such accessories as well as romantic products.

Millie does not like Spamton. Not at all. He finds him to be annoying and a liability, like being seen with him would damage his image.

Blue Addison

Cerulean, they/them

Cerulean is a calm and reserved Addison, and is much less... antagonizing than their friends. They act as a voice of reason for the group.

They work at a shoe shop which is a second location of the one Millie works for. Millie got them this job, as their previous one failed.

Cer is really fond of Spamton, and while they don't seem to do much about how the others treat him, they still try to make him feel included.

Orange Addison

Ginger, he/she

Ginger is very hardworking, almost dangerously so. She's a bit oblivious as to what goes on in her interpersonal relationships, but is very well-meaning. He's sort of the group's dad friend.

Ginger, of course, is the prime clothing salesman in Cyber City. Unlike other Addisons, Ginger makes his clothing from scratch, other working late night after late night just to make sure he has enough stock. All the hard work really pays off, though.

Ginger finds Spamton funny. Both in a positive and negative way. That's really all there is to it.

Yellow Addison

Aureolin (Lin), she/xe

Lin is bombastic and vivacious. She's often too much for the group to handle, but it's not like she cares. She takes pride in it. Xe can be pretty rude but it's more of a front than anything.

Lin puts the ads in the paper, but xe aspires to start writing xer own articles someday. When she doesn't get an opportuniy, though, she's sure to complain about it at the grill.

Lin was the one to get Spamton its first internship sending emails to clients, and has a lot of fun teasing it whenever xe can.

Spamton!

he/it

Nobody really knows what he's supposed to be. He's like an Addison, but not quite. Like there's something missing. Or there's something more? But nobody really pays much attention to it outside of that, so it's not like anybody cares.

On Spamton's opinions on the others:

If you think Millie doesn't like Spamton, Spamton does NOT like Millie. He's mean to it every chance he gets, and sometimes Spamton feels like it even deserves it.

Cerulean is by far the person that Spamton adores the most. They're nice to him when they don't even have to be. He can tell he still probably hasn't done enough to earn their respect-- but it's not like he doesn't welcome it.

Ginger likes to treat Spamton like his own personal mannequin. Which, as long as Spamton gets some sort of money out of it, isn't really bothered by. Plus, Ginger seems to really understand his style.

Spamton is really thankful for the things Lin has done to help it, and although it gets pissed at the teasing from time to time, it liked whenever Lin let it ride on her motorcycle. But for some reason, he's only ever allowed to ride in the sidecar.

As for himself? Spamton doesn't really have anything positive to offer. He just hopes, that at some point, someone will come along to give him a reason to see himself as something bigger.

I enjoy the interest my things have gotten, and while this isn't really an ask blog, like I said before, I do enjoy asks and things, so don't be afraid to send something if you have an idea! I'm usually glad to build upon that. Thanks!

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

This one is tough for me because I am the multi-est of multi-shippers, but I’d have to go with Garak/Ziyal from DS9. I love both of them as characters and love them as a young person/mentor relationship but romance with them just squicks me out. I mostly dislike it because it was only canon due to the real life homophobia of the people writing the show.

Another ship similar to this is C/7 from Voyager. I do actually ship C/J/7 as an ot3, but canon C/7 was literally just the “love is what makes us human” trope, which is reflective of real life amatonormativity. I am extremely proship, but something I find frustrating in proship spaces is the refusal to talk about the times when things are done in shows that are reflective of bad things that are normalized in real life.

(Of course I support people who ship Garak/Ziyal and C/7 in fandom and I’m glad they’re having fun, I just wish we talked about why real people in charge of tv shows make the decisions that they make more)

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

YES. Our Flag Means Death. I disliked the fandom pretty much immediately because so many people were antis of one of the antagonists who I loved, but I didn’t straight up hate the fandom until the Pirate Poll Racism Incident where the fandom showed their whole ass in terms of just how deep the racism in it goes. Then the second season of the actual show made me stop liking the show at all so this isn’t my problem anymore.
