Oh man I have a fucking start for a Lance bi arc in my head but like no energy to write the full thing so I'm just gonna type it in notes here

So Lance does like chat to alien girls on their missions and he goes on dates with them (in my head I don't think the Paladins should be strictly confined to only ever being in the castle, like they can make friends and call people and visit planets and shit)

So they have a mission where they are tasked with protecting an alien Prince and Lance is assigned to be his main body guard and throughout this Lance kinda notices how handsome the Prince is and the Prince seems to be flirting with him. Throughout this they bond a lot and after a few days of this and an attack from the people trying to assassinate the Prince, it kinda becomes clear that the Prince quite likes Lance and Lance quite likes the Prince back.

The Prince thanks Lance for being his bodyguard and as the other lions are flying back to the castle, the Prince stops Lance and leans down a little to kiss him on the cheek and he gets super flustered and says he can't wait to see him again. When Lance gets into the lion, he realises the comm is screeching at him to respond and the others are asking him what's taking him so long. He says nothing but Pidge and Hunk clock that he's nervous and complain about how he could've possibly had the time to get distracted by a girl.

Later coran comes up to him to let him know that the Prince sent him his call details for Lance and initially he's quite nervous but coran says he won't say anything but not because he quite understands the human context sexuality being difficult to talk about but cause he thinks the others will never let him live it down if he starts dating a Prince.

So, as a side plot to this, Keith has galra hearing and has spent most of the show so far that he can hear everything Lance does in his room (mostly cause Lance sings a lot in his room at ungodly hours) so soon after Lance starts having call dates with the Prince, Keith hears it and feels bad that he's listening in on some pretty romantic and serious convos so he asks for ear plugs from Coran. Coran briefly worries about how much Keith knows but realises his concern seems to just be invading Lance's privacy and leaves it alone.

As the secret relationship continues, Lance begins to feel guilty for not telling anyone on the team. His fear is not that they'll reject him, most of the group identify as queer. But even thinking about telling them makes him feel nauseous. Coran tries to implore Lance that telling them won't end badly.

Lance begins acting more withdrawn from the group as a result.

Hunk is worried about him and gets in his head about it, getting Pidge to check out the call logs he has. He doesn't know who's on the other end cause he's not willing to push that far but they theorise its a girlfriend. But this seems to be the longest he's had a relationship so far and he's never hidden girlfriends from them before and they're concerned but also a little hurt themselves. Shiro finds out they've snooped and gets Allura to block their access and sits them both down for a talk about not snooping but talks with Allura about this because he's also pretty concerned about Lance too. She states its probably not for them to pry but maybe make a concerted but very obvious set of interactions of Lance that are like "well because you know you can ALWAYS CONFIDE IN US right Lance?"

It begins to affect their ability to form Voltron and as a fight is coming to a close and everyone is super frustrated and bickering it all comes out, started with Hunk blurting that this is cause Lance is hiding his secret girlfriend from everyone.

They're all yelling and putting pieces together (with Keith chipping in with a quiet and very confused ".... wait what?")

Lance goes to storm off and hide in his room, Pidge and Hunk realise they've messed up pretty bad and made things worse and Shiro and Allura don't know what to do.

A knock on Lance's door makes him yell to go away and that hes not telling them about his "secret girlfriend", but instead Keith opens the door, holding Lance's and his dinner and sets it down next to him before shutting the door again.

"I know you don't have a secret girlfriend, Lance, I know it's the Prince."

Lance is shocked but Keith goes on, explaining that he realised after he heard them talking through the wall and got earplugs to give them privacy but he realised that this was maybe something he hadn't come out about yet when he realised nobody but Coran knew.

Keith talks to him about when he came out to Shiro and how nervous he was, not because he feared shiro and his boyfriend would reject him for being gay, but because it felt like it'd change the way Shiro thought about him. Shiro would know he thought about relationships and had crushes and people he liked and it freaked him out.

This prompts Lance to explain that he's frustrated because he thought he knew who he was and what he liked. What's gonna happen if he's different from who he thought he was again? He can't even tell his family about any of this cause he figured it out away from Earth.

Keith says he isn't sure how to help, but that he's sorry he didn't realise they were snooping, but that for what it's worth, it just sounds like they were worried about how withdrawn he'd become recently, possibly resulting from him feeling guilty about hiding this. This is a side of Lance he's not used to seeing and this is a moment that contributes to Keith's later crush on Lance returning.

Keith let's him have his privacy about his food and once he's done he decides to come to the dining room to tell them about the Prince. Before he does, Hunk and pidge pauses him and both apologise and explain. They were worried but also let their hurt feelings get in the way and be a justification for prying into his private business and that they should've just talked to him and that he doesn't have to tell them anything or feel pressured to, because if he's not ready to or even if he just doesn't feel like it, then he shouldn't.

Lance accepts the apology and says while he's still a little mad, he kinda gets it. And he decides to tell them about the Prince, which is when Allura is flabbergasted by this and goes "THATS WHY THE ALLIANCE HAS GONE SO SMOOTHLY AND KEEPS ASKING WHEN WE'RE NEXT GOING TO BE THERE!!"

To All the Boys I've Loved Before Klance AU

K so last night I deadass stayed up so I could catch this movie drop at midnight (gotta support an Asian female lead in a rom com REPRESENT) and holy god it was so good? Like rom coms really aren't my thing, like all of the recent ones have been so cringy but this one was AMAZING. Fake dating? Good shit. Anyway I throughout the movie I was like SHIT this would be a hella good Klance AU so here's a quick outline for it.

Spoilers for To All the Boys I've Loved Before!

So Keith is a loner who likes to live more in books than in reality. He likes the idea of romance, but actually being in a relationship? Yeah no, he couldn't handle that. Not that anyone would ever be interested in him like that anyway. And there's the fact that he's gay, so there's a huge chance that most of his crushes don't swing that way.

And Keith does have crushes. He just never acts on them. Instead, he writes his crushes letters and then he moves on. He figures it's better than stewing on them forever. Still, he can't bring himself to get rid of them...

Keith lives with his single mom, (Krolia), his older brother Shiro, and younger sister Katie, who prefers Pidge (I know it's a little strange but I didn't know who else to play the lil sis)

Keith can't drive. He's gay. Gays can't drive. Science. (As a gay, I can confirm this science) (plot relevant)

Shiro has a boyfriend named Adam, who's great! Unfortunately, Keith thinks he's a little too great and accidentally develops a crush on him too. He gets a letter and Keith accepts the fact that Adam and Shiro were made for each other. Until Shiro decides to break up with Adam before Shiro goes of for college.

Everyone's shocked, including Keith. Keith manages to stay friends with Adam (Keith is a junior, Adam is a senior, Shiro is going to college) but it's kind of weird since Keith has some lingering feelings.

OH and the guys that Keith wrote the letters to were Rolo from camp, James Griffin from mock trial, Ryan Kinkade from homecoming, Lance McClain who was his first kiss during a game of spin the bottle, and Adam.

So it's the first day of school and Keith wears his fingerless gloves (they belonged to his dad, so he wears them when he needs to have some confidence)

He has a run in with Nyma, who he used to be friends with but she kind of ditched him when she found cooler friends. She's dating Lance, hottie of the school. She makes fun Keith's fingerless gloves before Lance drags her away to class.

Keith's best friend is Allura, who is super cool and leads her life in her own way. She gives Keith some very needed confidence.

Keith nearly runs over Lance while backing out if the parking lot. Keith dies a little. Pidge, who Keith is taking home, is not amused with his driving skills but is pretty interested in the boy. She's the only one who knows about Keith's letters, and decides that Keith needs a boyfriend so she decides to send the letters and hopes for the best (lmao in the movie the girl is like 11-12 so it's a little more believable)

The next day Lance comes up to Keith during PE and is like "yo I know we kissed once in the 7th grade but I don't think this is gonna work...Nyma and I just broke up-" and Keith is like W H A T and he sees the letter in his hand. And Keith freaks out and tries to explain that he wrote that years ago, but he gets interrupted by the sight of Adam making his way across the field, a letter in his hand. This freaks Keith out even MORE and he knows he needs to convince Adam that he doesn't like him and before he knows it he's kissing Lance. Adam is...confused enough to save the conversation for another day. Keith is relieved that that worked, until he realized SHIT HE KISSED LANCE so cue running away. Lance is v confused.

Keith runs to the bathroom, but before long he here's a knock on the stall, and a letter is slid underneath the door. It's Kinkade. Double shot. Luckily Kinkade is cool, he explains he's straight and Keith explains the whole situation. Kinkade promises not to tell anyone and Keith actually gains a friend from the experience (btw Kinkade danced with Keith at HoCo because he thought he looked lonely, he's a sweety)

Keith goes back home but FUCK Adam knocks on the door, so naturally Keith jumps off the roof and runs to his fave diner. (Diner is run by Coran)

Keith is sure he's safe, until Lance takes a seat beside him. Turns out, Lance had actually been looking for him. See Lance is still v confused and he was looking for some answers. Keith tells him a half truth, that he kissed him so that his brother's ex boyfriend wouldn't know that he had a crush on him. Lance is pretty stunned about the explanation but he's understanding. In fact he actually has an idea.

Lance offers this: he and Keith can fake date. Adam will think Keith doesn't have feelings for him, and Nyma will get jealous and want Lance back.

Keith is like FUCK NO. That's a horrible idea and decides it's best if he just sees where this could go. However, as he sleeps on it, the more he seems to think that it might actually be a good idea...

Keith, ever so blunt, marches up to Lance during his lacrosse practice and is like "aight let's do this" and Lance is like "sweet" and he kisses Keith right in front of the entire team. Great start for the rumors. And Keith is like "wOw oKaY iT's hApPeniNg"

Him and Lance set up ground rules. No more kissing, Lance is confused by that. Keith had to go to parties with Lance, and Keith is not happy about that. Keith makes an X-Files reference, which Lance doesn't get. Keith adds "watch X-Files to the contract" while Lance adds a movie of his own (idk what reference oof) and then Lance brings up The Ski Trip. Students go to a ski lodge every year, and it's notorious for hookups. If Lance brings Keith, they're FOR SURE dating. But that's a few months away? This whole thing will probably be over by then so there's no point anyway.

The school is SHOCKED to see them together. Including Adam. (He sees Lance as his lil bro so) And they've got everyone fooled, even their families.

Lance takes Keith to a party, and tells Keith to ditch the fingerless gloves (he doesn't want to hold hands with gloves all night) and so Keith gives them to Lance to hold. They take pics of each other for their lockscreen

Also Lance calls Keith Mullet, of course

At the party, Nyma is super jealous. She corners Lance in the bathroom and talks shit on Keith. Sure Lance wants to get back together with her, but he doesn't like the way she talks about Keith. She spots the gloves in Lance's pocket and makes sure to grab them when he's not looking.

Lance takes Keith home early, but the grab food at the diner. They have a pretty cute convo, until Keith reminds Lance that this is all fake. Lance gets upset and Keith begins to feel like he's actually falling for Lance. Lance gets over it and they grow closer and closer as the months go by

Along the way, they realize they have a lot in common, especially in family. Lance's mmo is pretty absent after she walked out on his dad, and Keith's dad died in a fire when he was pretty young. Both grieve together, but become closer because of it.

Before they know it, The Ski Trip is already here and on the trip, they reveal they like each other.

Everything seems great until Nyma talks to Keith, and mentions how cool it is that he didn't mind that her and Lance shared a room. And while she's doing that, she's wearing Keith's gloves. She notices him staring and she says that Lance gave them to her.

Now Keith is SAD and breaks things off with Lance, convinced that he's just another fuckboi

Oh my God this has gone so long but long story short THEY FALL IN LOVE IN THE END

Feel free to add things on? I left a lot of things out but yeah. This au is. Made for Klance. Also there's so much room to add in more characters like Hunk and Matt and the Earth squad

ive been awake all night. i own voltron now. heres season 7

-once the crew has found a planet to camp at for a night lance and allura have an honest sit down. allura thanks lance for being there for her during the whole loturd mess, and also admits that the mice spilled the beans about lances crush on her. allura says that she respects lance as a person and paladin, but after everything thats happened, shes not ready for a relationship, and she feels they work better as friends than they would partners. lance is obvs heartbroken, but supports her and understands what shes gone through and what she needs/wants. after this discussion their friendship grows even stronger.

-keith and crew take a moment to just... appreciate that theyre alive, that everyone is okay despite the hardships theyve endured. the team bonds w krolia and the wolf dog and they discuss the last 2 fucking years. keith and lance break off from everyone and have a convo along the lines of “hey man i missed you, im glad youre okay/i respect how you/we’ve grown”, where lance semi admits to the one sided rivalry as a coping mechanism for feeling insecure, and now that shiro almost died and all the other shit hes realized that he needs to put all that behind him and continue maturing like keith has.

-the journey to earth is long af considering they dont have a teleduv to wormhole them across the galaxy, which means hours of them all flying in their lions playing ‘i spy’ ‘20 questions’ ‘never have i ever’ etc to pass the time and “bond”. of course the paladins are gonna have some kinda trick contest w their lions bc flying for hours on end gets boring as shit. also? roadtrip sing a longs started by hunk and pidge which end up lasting for hours w almost everyone chiming in depending on what song theyre singing. during this time pidge and hunk work on a replacement prosthetic for shiro which is sick as FUCK.

-once they finally make it to earth, first thing lance does is find a phone and call his family. like fuck the government, fuck the garrison, this boy is calling his family they need to know hes okay. of course he cries on the phone w them. hunk calls his moms and pidge contacts her mom and dad, matt fully joined team voltron on their way to earth bc by god hes not gonna go see his family all together again. keith and shiro visit keiths shack/wherever shiro and keith lived before the kerberos mission. ummm shiro has a husband named theo like that one post ill link when i have the energy, so they go and find theo and shiro and his husband just,, sob into each other. shiro feels like this is the first time he can breathe in years: being back on earth with his team and keith and his husband there and hes no longer connected to the galra and hes just,,, ALIVE.

-team voltron is cordially invited to dinner at lance’s familys house which is just a mad house considering how many people there are when u combine his family and team voltron lmao. but they all get along so well and its the happiest the team has ever seen lance, dudes talking a mile a minute and laughing with his siblings and giving his parents the tenderest looks like if keith wasnt already in love w lance hes fucked up now. lances siblings DEFINITELY tease him about his obvious crush on keith theyre like, “youve been back home for 5 minutes and weve already seen you make goo goo eyes at keith 3 times”.

-lance is out on the back porch after dinner after sunset, listening to the waves crash on the beach that sits a block away from his family home, smiling at the din of voices he can hear from inside his warmly lit house. keith steps outside to join him, to which lance quips about it being too cramped for keiths liking:

“actually, it’s.. nice. youre family is really special lance, i can see why you missed them so much.”

“i did. its funny - i dreamt about being back home every night up in space, but now that im here it doesnt feel real.”

keith hums and moves closer to lance, resting his hip on the railing of the porch. he quirks his lips into a smirk “it’s definitely real, considering that your sister showed me all of your middle school theater pictures. i couldnt make that kind of awkward tween imagery up.” lance sucks in a breath and groans, turning his body towards keiths. “please dont tell me she showed you pictures of my role as mercutio in romeo and juliet when i was in 8th grade...” keiths turns his gaze back towards the house, his grin showing absolute mirth and... tenderness as he nods. he shrugs and scuffs his boot across the porch boards, “i thought it was cute.”

their eyes lock, searching each other as they shyly smile. “careful kogane,” lance says, his eyes glinting, “get all mushy on me, i might think you like me or something.” keith leans forward, his bangs falling over his eyes. “i do like you, i never disliked you.” hesitantly, lance reaches upward and brushes the hair away from keiths forehead, his fingers lingering near keiths temple. “neither did i.” lance breathes. their eyes meet again, challenging each other to move, and so lance does. in one careful motion, he brings his hand down to cup keith’s jaw, angling him so that they align perfectly as lance brings their lips together.

inside the house the familiar chatter continues, and lance has never felt like hes belonged anywhere more than now.

-during their time on earth, allura meets a wonderful girl named erin whos patient with her and caring and admires allura in every way, but meets her w enough fire to keep allura on her toes. allura falls in love with her the moment she sees erin smile.

-since lotors cis ass is gone voltron essentially takes his position as head of the galra empire?? like the people who chose to follow lotor cant necessarily go to sendak bc their traitors to him, and leaving the empire to form another doesnt offer much protection, so team voltron releases the planets that they had under their control and team up w the galran army against sendaks “empire” and rip that bitch to pieces lmao

-after the big ol battle everyone retires back to earth where they all live together/relatively close to each other since they cant imagine being apart from their family after everything theyve been through together. shay leaves her planet and comes to live on earth w hunk after a while, and earth becomes a hub of peaceful human and alien life.

im real tired so this might not make a whole lot of sense but anyway shiro retires, lance becomes black paladin and keith goes back to red, bi lance is canon king, allura and lance are the wlw/mlm solidarity we deserve, everyone on team voltron deserves to be happy. in this essay i will-

diary 4 future me. cosplayed: tsumiki (sd/r2)

uh idk how to describe some panels due to barely remembering or not knowing how 2 word stuff so!! sry

okay so i arrived there early at like. 9:30 but apparently the con didnt open until 10 am? so i sat in the bottom floor lobby n played CR/went on tumblr until i went in and went to the bla/ck butler panel! ciel kept being dared to hug everyone, even ppl he hated like alois or soma n grell kept flirting w sebestian

then the bn/ha panel! they did trvia at first, n i think i got a question right, but didnt raise my hand so rip... anyway after short trivia they did the q+a and pr3s3nt m!c said he goes thru 2 cans a day w his hair n that he has endorsements w hairspray companies n later all m!ght said he was oth proud and disappointed in deku’s obssesion w him n i asked aizawa if any of the students ever vaped in his classroom n he said that the were rowdy

after that i walked around for a while n saw a momo (id0lish) n without thinking, asked 2 take their pic n they said they remember me from last year n they were apparently the momo i took a pic of last year??? haha whoops i was just Excited. i also saw a rei while talking to a tsumiki+nico n i was like “thats a yumenosaki uniform omg r u cosplaying ens/tars/into ES” n they said yes they were supposed 2 b rei but their friend had their wig but we were talking abt ES n i cant rly remember a lot of the convo but they said they only rly disliked eichi n i think they liked rei n ritsu n switch? anyway, also around this time, i was climbing the stairs n a fancy dre/amer jane was like ‘hey uh, are you looking for someone named x?” n i said “no...?” n they realized they got the wrong peron n apolgized n left but later i saw them again n asked 4 a pic n apparently their dress was $200 holy shit.. it was a rly nice outfit tho aa.

then i went to the hs panel! not much to say tbh? stuff happened, questions were asked n all, yknow. kanaya n rose came in fashinoably late but the kanaya was pretty aa. they got asked abt vines n i remember the kanayas favorite was the “yall ugly” vine. aradias was “so no head?” roses was “we all gonna die someday”

anyway, i went downstairs n stood arund then noticed someone that looked like 1st yr koga so as i passed them when i started moving, i asked if they were koga n they said yes n i took a pic of them (i didnt realize their friend was rei/fem!rei (i think) altho i slightlky wondered it but i had tunnelvision.. a onetrack mind...) n i was like “how r u doing in the event?” n they apparently dont play the game, but they’re into ES n i said “oh!” n i asked their best boy n they said keito or [someone i cant remember] n i said oh cool and i stan rei, since im thirsty, and chiaki n idk the rest of the convo, but they told me there was an ES person in the artist alley n i immediately ran off to go find the artist. then i found an iruma w an arashi in their itabag n complemented them on it (n also said arashi is valid) n their friend had a tsukasa itabag n we talked abt ES for a minute and i asked them abt the button artist.

then the v0ltr0n panel! again, dont kno what 2 say, but it was p funny! “what’s yalls favorite ship??” “we all swore, the Castle” bhrghrt. then i meant 2 go 2 the su panel after the v0ltr0n panel bc it ended at 5:20 n the SU panel ws ongoing after it but i just Didnt.

so i walked around the dealers room again n saw someone w a tsumugi itabag n i was like “their hair looks similar to tsumugi r they cosplaying tsumugi?? either way, ill complement them on their bag” but they Were cosplayng tsumugi like i expected n they said they were glad 2 b recognized n that tsumugi doesnt get enough love n i got a pic of them n we talked abt ES n they liked the natsume strap on my bag n they also like the oddballs, bc i mentioned i have all the oddballs on my bag except shu n i learned the ES button person was the same one that made the buttons? they showed me a lil tori figure keychain they got n it was cute... idk if we talked abt much else but Yeah. i also ran into the rei n they found their wig n i was like “u got ur wig? nice! im proud [idk why i said this? i think i meant it in an ‘i believed in u!’way??]” n asked them n the dia they were w for a pic, and also ran into one of my tumblr friends n they had such a cuuuute outfit n they had a lil v!ktuuri charm AND a super cute clear keychain n i was like “MY EFFING BOY.. WUV” but we talked 4 a minute which was fun!!

then the v0ltr0n “opration whats goin on” panel! the operation was apparently that lance couldnt speak english thruout the panel but i knew a bit of spanish so i could kno some of the words but anyway i remember they all T-posed n i think they got asked a vines question too? yea! i remember at some point the kieth threw their starbucks cup in rp anger or smth (it was p much empty) but some of it got ont he carpet n everyone was like ‘KEITH...”

then i coudnt walk around the dealers room bc it was closed so i walked on the con floor n some person was walking around w a large speaker n they put on “Take On Me” n a bunch of us started a chain of people following each other doing that weird dance run that goes w that song n we went all around the con floor, up the escalators, up the stairs, circled around 3 LL cosplayers, went back down, went all the way to the game room, did it in circles around the middle floor of the game room, then the person changed it to “Nevr Gonna give u up” n said we all just got rickrolled but we continued the chain/conga n just danced along to it and motiond to others while lipsyncing all the way back to the middle floor area w the music then the speaker person put on the macarena n i did it for a minute b4 worrying abt my wig n getting tired so i walked around the area then stood near a corner n started reading a hypm!c smut fic then later sat down near the next panel room i was going to go in n finished it

then the dd/lc panel!! i was on my ipad 4 some of it oops sry but they were talking abt who’s best girl n what was it like for monika to delete the others n they got asked the meme and vine question too n they all T-posed as well n there was a kid in the audience who rly loved natsuki n monika n gave natsuki a hug b4 they had 2 leave b4 the panel ended n it was cute... someone tried 2 play your reality on an ocarina, yuri said f*ck, n sayori yeeted a pencil aiming 4 the center aisle of the room but it hit someone but yea Fun Timez

i left a few minutes early to go to the g0rillaz panel but apparently they had 2 cancel so i called my dad 2 come pick me up n saw my tmblr friend again nwe talked abt kp0p n con stuff then they left n i went to the game room 4 a sec but b4 that i saw kenyan n joked w him n called him a furry but how i met w hhim was that he was at the post near the game room (the badge check) n as i walked past he said “i told ur dad id watch over u it’s okay” or smth like that n i went “...excuse me? i dont know you.” but then i realized who it was n went “oh.kenyan sry hi” n he was like “yea, u do, iplay pathfinders n dnd w ur dad in 2 days....” and i said “in our house ur labeled as a furry” n said he should cosplay his furry characters

anywway after a while (i just sat down n waited) dad picked me up!
